Online story: "A Miami Beach teen died Tuesday after being shocked with a taser in the chest after police spotted him painting graffiti on an empty building.  * Israel Hernandez, 18, was a skateboarder and artist who "wanted to change the world somehow through art,” his sister, Offir Hernandez, told the Miami Herald. " -- Unfortunate situation at a minimum, but certainly avoidable. Police were doing the job the citizens pay them to do.. serve and protect. Sorry, but the young man WAS NOT tasered for graffiti.. he was tasered for trying to escape from being arrested for vandalizing a building. Hmmm, where's Al Sharpton?

Evacuation is now an "ordered departure.... I'm beginning to believe Judas 00-bama's war theory is to "shock & awe" the enemy with Miriam Webster University Dictionaries.

HuffPost headline/story: "Chris Christie Signs Gun Control Legislation In New Jersey * The measures including banning the purchase of handguns by people on a federal watch list of potential terrorism suspects, stepping up penalties on some firearms violations and exempting gun records from the state's open public records law. *  (Christie) held off on signing other proposed measures that would have banned .50-caliber rifles, required dealers to log ammunition sales and allowed for instant background checks." -- Is the HuffPost pushing Christie as the Republican frontrunner? Reading the headline, I thought we'd read about him banning everything from bazookas-to-Nerf guns.

---

Online headline: "Man Allegedly Kills Wife, Posts Photo Of Her Body To Facebook" -- Wonder how many 'pokes' and 'friend requests' she got?

---

Online headline: "Eric Holder May Release Sweeping Drug Sentencing Proposal, Admits Current Practices Are Discriminatory" -- "admits current practices are discriminatory"? Sorry, Holder, but you are not a legislator, judge, nor jury. Your job is NOT to inject your opinion to the validity of a law, the Attorney General's job is to enforce existing laws.

HuffPost story: "Alec Baldwin may soon be joining MSNBC to host a new primetime show" -- Hmmm, MSNBC denounces Paula Deen for being honest about her past, yet pedestalizes a known, an outed, child abusing (_*_). Hmmm, sounds about right for MSNBC.

---

Online headline: "It's Official: A-Rod to Fight Baseball Over Massive Suspension" -- Whatta (_*_)! A-rod, I mean, A-hole... two wrongs do not make a right!

---

Why do car makers try so hard to tell you that you have to rush down yesterday because their cars may sell out the day before that? They're gonna be making more.

---

Election advice: While it's tough enough to get a Republican politician to vote in Washington as he/she talks in Georgia, it's impossible to get an Obamarat one to do so.

---

One thing, one very important thing that has to remembered when electing a new Senator from GA in 2014.... Do you want someone who votes the way GA voters want or someone who votes whatever way Judas 00-bama or Dingy Harry Reid tell her to?

---

You know, most of governments problems of today are the results of a previous Congress's compromised band-aid solution to a smaller problem at that time.

---

Online headline: "Members of a black conservative network are ripping Rep. Charlie Rangel for calling tea party members and other Republicans "white crackers." One says in doing so, the 21-term congressman has “outed himself as the racist bigot.” -- Huh? Rangel has always been a creepy bigot!

---

Latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com : "The current minimum wage is $7.25 per hour -- and if you work 40 hours per week making minimum wage, you're only making $14,500 per year. That's well below the poverty line. * President Obama is calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage -- and today OFA supporters are getting behind him and other allied organizations to take on this fight." -- It's a shame Judas 00-bama doesn't practice what he preaches... he wants volunteers, not paid employees campaigning to raise the base of union contracts to their 'guaranteed' boost over minimum. Also, of course, Obamarats only want to look at the 'minimum wage' as a 'ceiling wage' , not an entry level.

Do believe I have come up with the simplest, and most succinct definer of THE difference, not A difference, between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives are capitalists, liberals are Capitolists.

Heard the best new analogy in a long long time yesterday. A reporter overseas assessed getting solid information was like trying to nail watermelon to the wall with a hammer. Doesn't that absolutely hit the White House spinmeisters on the head?

L-E headline: "CONCERT CELEBRATES RIVERCENTER’S ORGAN " -- Oooops, my bad.. thought there was going to be a naming partyy for the water fountain statue on the median... anyone topped "Viagra Falls" yet?)

---

L-E headline/story: "Supporters of SOA protest to honor 30th anniversary * “It’s going to be a peaceful vigil to commemorate the 30th anniversary of our protest against the Salvadoran soldiers at Fort Benning,” said the Rev. Roy Bourgeois, a Catholic priest     and founder of SOA Watch.  " -- You know.. if the L-E yawned at this like it does at many good things for the community, this 'event' would be a 'non-event'. Too boot, "Rev." is not a title (nor accurate description) and Bourgeois IS NOT a catholic priest, and hasn't been one for years.

Low info voter's (and probable teachers's) L-E "soundoff": "Mr. Lewis, one question: Do you believe the school administration exists to serve the teachers or teachers exist to serve the administration? If it’s the first, you’re the best superintendent we’ve had in ages." -- No doubt he's the "best superintendent" we've had this year, but a teacher's job is to serve his/her students educational needs, while preparing said students to be capable of independence when they are graduated, and to serve at the needs of the Superintendent. Unfortunately, we have teachers, too many teachers, who think they are the star of the show, and think the sun should revolve around them.

---

L-E headline/story: "Minn. dad claims third of $448M Powerball jackpot * he’ll take a lump   sum, which will amount to $58.3 million after taxes." -- No wonder the feds are so interested in being involved in public education...how  else could the feds convince lottery 'winners' that $58 Million is their share of 1/3rd of $448 Million?

---

L-E headline/story: "Vote suppression alleged in Fla. election * A small Florida Panhandle town best known for its annual Worm Grunting Festival is at the center of an investigation into charges the white city clerk suppressed the black vote in an election where the black mayor lost by a single vote and a black city commissioner was also ousted. *  Both losing candidates and three black voters have filed complaints, now being investigated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, that City Clerk Jackie Lawhon made it more difficult for blacks to cast ballots by questioning their residency. " -- Huh? It is the JOB of the clerk to verify residency and identification.. it ain't about color, it's about proof of residency, proof of being eligible to vote.

From the L-E's "Late laughs" : THIS WEEKEND President Obama celebrated his 52nd birthday. For his birthday, Michelle Obama jumped out of a cake and told him he’s not allowed to have any.   Conan O’Brien " -- Hmmm, nice try, Conan, but it's Ramadan, and he couldn't eat before night time.
