Online headline: "U.S. Postal Service Alcohol Delivery Idea Criticized By
Merchants" -- Yeah, what are they drinking, uh, thinking? Can't you see a case
of beer or champagne thrown around the back of a mail trucks exploding as it
shakes around on a hot summer day?
---
If the U.S. Postal Service is wanting to ship recreational drugs, it would
probably have a better chance with DOJ and a better bottom line shipping
marijuana. Hey, that might even slow down illegal alien border crossings!
---
Online headline: "Biden Stirs 2016 Speculation With Iowa Visit" -- The only
way Bleep Veep Biden will sit in the Oval Office is to get Judas 00-bama to take
a 50th Anniversary tour of Dealey Plaza in Dallas this coming November.
---
Online headline: "Missouri State fair apologizes for rodeo clown dressed as
Obama" -- And they should... but only because it probably offended the real
working clowns.
---
From a fellow BCer:
And on their golf shirts as well.

Judas 00-bama now wants all neighborhoods be the same. The "Section 8" and
"235" programs have failed, so what's left... use mostly idle school buses to
transport gangs into gated communities at dusk so every one can fear
equally?

Our church just celebrated the 10th anniversary of our beloved pastor and
his bride facilitating our relationship with God and Jesus. Hope you will join
us and experience his message and guidance and love first hand where ever you
are. Visit first hand at 212 12th St, Columbus, GA, or watch on WTVM9-TV in the
Valley, or if you out of the area or on another continent, you can catch him
live on Sundays at 11:00 AM via internet live streaming at http://www.firstbaptistcolumbusga.com/ .
BTW, First Baptist of Columbus was founded in 1829 and is celebrating it's 184th
year of serving God.

Yesterday, I wondered why Arizona was in the mix of CA, NV, MI, and FL for
extra federal housing bailout money. One of our fellow BCers has hit the nail on
the head... it's payback for John McCain for crossing over the aisle and
double-crossing Arizona taxpayers.

L-E headline: "UNDER THE
RADAR * Employees
say they weren’t notified when the state stopped referrals *State legislators kept in dark about decision to
close facility" -- About the only thing I see is that the Outdoor Therapeutic
Program kept the fact they had 33 salaried staffers and 10 hourly staffers
getting paid for tending to 19 patients pretty well under the radar. Hey, that's
tax dollars. If the program is worthwhile, parents should be willing to pay for
it, and the program directors should make sure its attractably
affordable.
---
Low info voter's L-E
"soundoff": "Sure hope Mr. Lewis can do
something about the egotistical and controlling elementary school principals who
require teachers to work 10-11 hours each day without overtime pay. " -- I guess
he should replace YOU with a teacher skilled enough to complete the job on
regular hours. Just hearing a teacher whine about 'overtime pay" just shows how
little dedication to the children he/she is, and the MCSD has not done its job
at getting such teachers out of our schools.
---
L-E's "Thought for
Today": “Wisdom is born, stupidity is learned.” — Russian proverb. -- Hmmm,
maybe in the Communist realm, but wisdom is actually learned by hard work and
personal experiences, while stupidity is easily taught to those as an
alternative to hard work and personal
experiences.
---
Once again, if ObamaCare
is making premiums go down where are the GEICO ads saying "15 minutes can save
you 15%"?
---
L-E story: "On Sunday, Senior said she had spoken with many
people before choosing Height, a move she called, “thinking outside of the box.”
* She understands that some will not like the
idea of naming a school after someone not from Columbus. *
“Thomas Edison had no direct connection to
Columbus, but we have benefited from his light,” Senior said. “Columbus and the
entire nation have benefited from the work of Dorothy Height.” * Columbus having a woman as mayor is a result, Senior
said, of the work Height did." -- If Ms Senior wants to credit a woman of two
for getting Mayor Obamalinson elected, she might want to focus on Susan B.
Anthony, Elizabeth Cadt Stanton, Lucy Stone and Julia Ward Howe before piling
accolades on Dorothy Height. And if she wants to focus on naming a local school
after an non-Columbusite, perhaps George Washington, Abe Lincoln, or Ronald
Reagan would be better choices
first.

I have a question for all
the liberals who demanded juvenile court records be sealed. What do background
checkers check when an 18 year old with a sealed criminal record applies for a
gun carry permit or simple approval to buy a gun?
