Just watched an opinion speech of Al Sharpton, a.k.a. , in his own words, "Reverend Al", in response to Bill O'Reilly's assertion that "Reverend Al" heads a 'grievous industry'. One of "Reverend Al's" grievances was that in the Constitution, slaves were counted only as 3/5ths of a person.  Obviously, "Reverend Al" didn't know his history as to "why" such wording was included. The NORTERN states insisted on such because of the amount of blacks in the South. The NORTHERN states felt that if blacks were counted as "whole" persons, the South would get more Congressional representatives. The South fought hard, held its ground on compromise, to get the 3/5ths count versus the NORTHERN states desire not to count blacks at all.

Prayers work. Randy Travis has been moved to a therapy facility for reecovery from his stroke... he's 54. Keep your prayers coming.

Online story: "Simon Cowell is reportedly expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman, a New York City socialite and the wife of one of Cowell's close friends, Us Weekly exclusively reports." -- "wife of Cowell's close friend"? This just explained, no, DEFINED/PARSED the word "reality", as in "reality show" as perceived by Hollywood.

Online story: :WASHINGTON -- When President Barack Obama ran for re-election last year, he and his advisers were quick to condemn comments from Republicans that were deemed offensive or demeaning to women. * But now, with two prominent members of Obama's Democratic Party admitting to lewd online behavior and facing allegations of sexual harassment, the White House is conspicuously silent." -- Hmm, Filner & Weiner.. that even sounds like the debasement of women they are associated with.

Judas 00-bama was actually tickled to trade the 'sequester' for not having to actually have a budget. Now he wants to go back on another promise... He could end it altogether by having Harry Reid pass a House version of a budget.

---

Columbus's Curtis Taron Turner....32...dead...drug deal gone bad.  Where is the NAACP march/rally/outrage?

---

For all practical sense, Weiner is kaput. Even Alan Colmes has suggested it's time for him to step down and save face. Guess the blitz for saving Hillary is in full force

---

Hmmm... a Monica Lewinsky tape has emerged... Monica says, "Now the first thing that has to happen is that you need to pre-plan with Betty that you will leave the office at, I don¹t know, at 7, 7:30 so that everyone else who hates me that causes me lots of trouble goes home,” she tells Clinton. * “Then you quickly sneak back and then in the meantime I quickly sneak over and then we can have a nice little visit for, you know, 15 minutes or half an hour. Whatever you want.” -- And DUMBERats were upset at Nixon's "18 minutes" of erased tape.....

How come "we" are on the NSA's radar, but the NSA has no clue where the suspects of Benghazi are?

---

White House spinmeisters are now saying they had difficulty in obtaining visas for investigators to get into Benghazl. Huh?

---

With the exception of our military, and police & fire personnel, why are other government employees "entitled" to retire and draw on pensions before they reach retirement age similar to the range of Social Security?

---

More DUMBERats convened yesterday with Judas 00-bama in attendance. No Republicans were invited or got to attend. Don't you love how the DUMBERats feel they can solve problems by making sure no one is there to ask what they are planning to do about the real problems?

Online headline: "This Just In From MSNBC: Abortion Clinics Now To Be Called 'Choice Providers'  -- What real really need is a new name for what MSNBC spews out... it surely shouldn't be called "news".

IRS..just when you thought it couldn't get worse , it does. Sorta sums up Judas 00-bama.

What a horrible situation that occurred at a DEA office in LA. A student caught in a drug raid was left in an interrogation room for 5 days. He got a $4 million dollar settlement. Excuse me, but he's was partaking in drugs which may have contributed to his debilitated state when found, but also, why are we taxpayers getting penalized, and some government agents still have their jobs?

Well said....

I see an ad for used cars in today's L-E.. it's in color and has pictures of 7 to 14 year old cars. I can remember when only new car pictures were featured in ads, and 14 year old cars were 'advertised' only by their owners.

Online story: "A longtime Chicago lawmaker Tuesday called on Gov. Pat Quinn to send the Illinois State Police and the Illinois National Guard into Chicago to help quell gun violence. * Rep. Monique Davis, a South Side Democrat serving in her 13th term in the House, said she wanted troopers and National Guardsmen "to come to Chicago and work with our mayor, Rahm Emanuel, to provide safety for the children, especially, and for all who walk in Chicago. We deserve. We're important. Our kids are important." * She also asked that Quinn appoint a task force to "guide the behavior of the National Guard. We don't want them to have us fearing them also. We want them there for safety and protection." -- "we don't want them (National Guardsmen) to have us fearing them also"? Fear the National Guard? I think the most fear would be the National Guardsmen feeling of being outmanned and outgunned.

L-E story: "During a routine check last summer, an alert Muscogee County School District employee discovered hairline cracks in the 53-foot high retaining wall beyond the new Carver High School’s softball field. *    To clear land for those fields, construction workers had to flatten a hill. The dirt that piled up had to be contained, so a retaining wall was built along the rear of the property facing Illges Road. * And this isn’t a ho-hum wall; it’s five stories high and about two football fields long — keeping the Delmar Apartments 30 feet away safe from an avalanche. " -- No, a 300'+ wall 53' tall wall is not "ho-hum" for sure. It's about a one wall, 5 story apartment complex in scope, and built at great expense. My questions are why wasn't the dirt removed and either: "sold" to other construction sites as 'fill', or used on other MCSD properties that need "fill"? BTW, do the Delmar Apartment dwellers feel 'safe' from a wall collapse?

Hmmm...$17,500,000.00 for new 91,000 sq ft elementary school. Why is it when finished, new residences have a resell value of between $100-$150 dollars a square foot (including property), but when we build a school, contractors charge $200+/- plus per square foot, and that is not the retail value nor includes property value?

---

Online story: "Virginia candidate for governor Terry McAuliffe bypassed state law to acquire land for his “green car” factory in Mississippi and invited President Obama to attend an event for the company that subsequently bogged down in a wide-ranging scandal. * Documents obtained by Cause of Action through a Freedom of Information Act request indicate Obama considered attending the rollout of GreenTech Automotive's first electric car. McAuliffe was the chairman of the company, but quietly resigned in December 2012." -- McAuliffe... why is that name so familiar... would it be same one who served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005 and served as co-chairman of President Bill Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign and as chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign? Yep, that's the one.

Online headline: "Obama: Don’t believe everything you read in the Huffington Post" -- Hmm, hey, Judas 00-bama... I'd step it up a notch and say don't believe ANYTHING you read in the HuffPost!
