HuffPost headline: "Menendez among first on Capitol Hill to call for US support for storm-battered Philippines" -- Who is Menedez's "agent/PR person"? I'm sure all our Congress people have the same thoughts as well, but with Menedez you have to wonder whether he has "girlfriends" there as well as the ones in Puerto Rico he uses.

Online story: "In North Korea, citizens are forced to follow the state ideology known as "The Juche Idea." * Christians there "are the most persecuted believers on earth," Pastor Eric Foley of Christian mission group, Seoul USA, told Fox. He estimates that there are around 100,000 Christians in the country. The network reports that 30,000 of those Christians "are believed to be locked inside concentration camps, where they are overworked, starved, tortured, and killed." * In 2009, a 33-year-old woman was publicly executed in North Korea after being accused of distributing the Bible. Kenneth Bae, an American missionary, was arrested in North Korea and sentenced to 15 years of labor for "crimes against the state" in May" -- Basically, Holocaust II, and Obamarats such as President Clinton and Dennis Rodman take photo-op trips to see Kim Jong-il. Is there no shame amongst Obamarats?

Online headline/story: "UCLA Has More NCAA Championships Than Black Male Freshmen * The black students at University of California, Los Angeles, sent a strong message about diversity at their school. Namely, the fact that there isn't much when it comes to African-American males, a troubling fact for one of the state's most elite institutions. * According to the school's enrollment statistics, African-Americans make up 3.8 percent of the student population. In the video, Stokes points out that black males make up 3.3 percent of the male student population, and that 65 percent of those black males are undergraduate athletes. Of the incoming men in the freshmen class, only 1.9 percent of them were black." -- So much for California rejoicing in diversity... Hmmm, on the other hand, what's the "diversity percentage" of 'traditional clack colleges' and how many non-blacks get scholarship money from the United Negro College Fund?
---
Observation for above story: Hmmm, sounds like UCLA's coaches are more interested in black athletes more so than the UCLA liberal academia is in recruiting black students. Perhaps the NCAA should make UCLA put "warning labels" on athletic scholarship offers, and general application packets.

Online story: "NEW YORK (AP) — Saying no to a toddler's demands for a McDonald's meal got a father branded an inept parent, he says in a lawsuit claiming a psychologist urged a judge to curtail his parental visits over the dinner debacle. * David E. Schorr says psychologist Marilyn Schiller pronounced him incapable of caring for his nearly 5-year-old son after he offered a choice — dinner anywhere but McDonald's, or no dinner at all — and let the boy choose the latter. " -- Apparently, NYC psycholgists didn't support all of Bloomberg's efforts as the "food policeman". Hope the court appoints some clown, perhaps Ronald McDonald himself, as the psychologist's lawyer.

Online story: "American school buses have long run on diesel, pumping out toxic exhaust around children who are particularly at risk from such fumes. They also burn up costly, carbon-emitting fuel as they cruise around a limited area, often idling while kids get on and off. * That may be about to change, however, thanks to two U.S. companies that have teamed up to make an electric bus for Kings Canyon Unified School District in central California. If it hits the road on schedule, it could be the country's first fully electric school bus. (New York-based Trans Tech already developed one in 2011 that never went into - green power OObama Loan?) * The SST-e seats up to 32 students * The bus isn't cheap; it costs around $175,000, while conventional Type A buses are often less than $80,000." -- Get your calculators out.. The electric bus is twice the coast of diesel buses, but has a seating capacity of about 60% 0f traditional buses, so 40% more buses will have to be purchased making the real comparison of costs at $80K of diesel vs $245K for electric. Most diesels last 10 years or so, but what realistic amount of time can be given rechargeable batteries? This article says diesel buses use 16 gals daily (for 180 days) at $3,75 a gal or about $11,000.00 anually. That means the diesel buses "cost" $80K plus 10 times $11,000 ($110K) for a bus and fuel cost of $190,000.00 for 10 years. Comparable seating buses costs $245.000.00 alone , plus the cost of recharging stations, 8 hours a day worth of electricity, and who knows how many additional rechargeable batteries, and of course, 40% more bus drivers!. Where's the saving for schools? Now, if school system really want to save transportation cost, just scrap the bus program, and tell parents they can get free public education if they get their own children to school themselves. Taxes could (should is a stretch) go down, too.

Have the Miami Dolphins thought about how they are going to replace two players for their next game? Incognito is suspended, and 'bullied-boy' would be useless even if he decides to play.

Online headline: "More Than 40% of Consumers Don't Recognize Red Flags of a Scam" -- There was a study to discover this? All you needed to do was look at poll results and see how many still support Judas 00-bama.
---
There's a slide show of pictures showing Judas 00-bama in various athletic poses. Two things are quite evident, he uses the same motion to throw a baseball and football as he does to shoot free throws, but also evident when he's shown doing so with out a jacket, is that he keeps his cell phone on his belt at all times. NSA, tell us what 00-bama is saying/hearing on his cell phone.
---
Online headline: "Obama Golfs At 'Caddyshack' Course" -- Imagine, Judas 00-bama teeing it up at "BUSH-wood". Maybe he thought he was playing with "W" and Tiger?
---
NCAA College football rule 9-1-4.....why have a rule if you don't enforce it fairly AND consistently. Last night, #6 for LSU speared a Bama receiver already on the ground . No ejection. I keep remembering UGA linebacker Ray Drew being ejected for hand chucking Vandy's QB's shoulder pads....

Latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com: " Hal -- This may sound crazy, but it's a fact: Today, there are no emission limits on our nation's single largest source of carbon pollution. * About 40 percent of all carbon pollution in America comes from our power plants, but we don't have anything in place on a national level to regulate the amount of carbon they put into the air. * That's why the EPA announced a new proposal to set carbon pollution standards for power plants, the same way we regulate other dangerous substances, like arsenic and mercury. It's a common-sense way to start to make a very real dent in reducing carbon pollution." -- "This may sound crazy"? No, it IS crazy...Judas 00-bama has already basically shutdown the coal mining industry, and coal was the main pollutant of power plants.

L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY JAIL * INMATE DIES IN BLOODY FIGHT * Kindred third person to die in jail in two weeks" -- You know, the real issue here is not the deaths, it's the lack of discipline and disregard for human life prisoners bring with them from the street. The Muscogee County jail is basically a short term housing facility for misdemeanor crimes, and holding facility for other situations. Prisoner on prisoner (or for that matter, prisoner on jail employee) violence should have a certain consequence for all prisoners... they should be stripped of any facility rights, have pending or already decided terms heavily increased, and if a death occurs as a result, there should be quick retaliatory executions made, and no appeals once determined.

Curious... did I spot Congressman Bishop in the Veterans Day Parade? Usually he just send a staff member or two. Hmmm, maybe he's concerned about getting re-elected in 2014...
---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS POLICE * Man shot multiple times, dies on street" -- Hmmm, depending on your source, that's either number 19 or 20 this year (and I'm not sure either number includes two that were killed in the jail), and the holiday season is not quite here yet// in spite of the decorations around town.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Obamacare's buffet gives too many choices. Republican private health insurance buffets serve a plate and a fork, but food costs extra. Pre-existing hunger -- too bad. You've eaten on two previous occasions." -- You know, maybe Michelle Obama should have been in charge of this "buffet". She would probably have insisted on only 'healthy choices".

L-E story: "TROY, Ala. — Authorities arrested an Alabama man Saturday and charged him with shooting his two teenage sons, and killing one of them, " -- Hmmm, wonder which one he loved best?

Looking at the bankruptcies, and/or overwhelming debts being accumulated by big cities, the only thing that will put a cease to it will be for voters who didn't vote for those administrations to be allowed to bring class action suits against the voters that did vote for those administrations.

L-E story: "ATLANTA — Though it initially resisted expanding solar power in Georgia, Southern Co. now wants to build solar projects in the state. * Southern Power may propose building new solar energy facilities to provide electricity for the nearly 2.4 million customers served by Georgia Power, according to documents filed with state regulators. Both firms are subsidiaries of the Atlanta-based Southern Co." -- Good grief! This is akin to seperated parents having a bidding war to see who gets the kids, then asking the court for more alimony to pay for it., and the paid-off judge basing the decision on who bids the most. The PSC needs to be looking at what bid will cost consumers less, and would lower rates as well. Think that's gonna happen? Got some great wetlands to sell you for a parking lot development.

For those who do not understand the Tea Party movement, maybe this is a way to grasp what's going on. Time Magazine latest issue tells Republicans what kind of people it needs to nominate as it's candidates. Now, what would you think if Fox news defined what kind of people need to be on the Obamarat ballots?

One of the Council issues this week is " Second reading — An ordinance amending Section 3-1 of the Columbus Code pertaining to alcoholic beverages by amending new subsection 3-1 (hh) to provide for tasting on a limited basis where growlers are sold at retail. (Councilor Glenn Davis)" -- What is "tasting on a limited basis"? Is this a way for people to buy beer in bulk, drink some, then take the rest home? Aren't there laws on the books that prohibit taking open containers out of on-premise establishments as well as laws concerning carrying open containers in your vehicle?
