HuffPost headline: "Obama Asks OFA For Help With Troubled Health Care Rollout" Huh? "Organizing For Action" "is" (no matter how you define "is") www.barackobama.com with globs of lipstick.
---
The latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com : Hal -- In 29 states, there are no state laws specifically protecting LGBT individuals from discrimination in the workplace. " -- Hmmm, that's good to hear... to hear there are 29 states that don't discriminate against normal workers and consider normal workers just as equal as LGBT workers. Now, let's work on the other 21 (or 28 if you believe Judas 00-bama).
---
Looks like the worm has turned...Judas 00-bama basked in the correlation of his taking office in the 200th celebration year of the birth of Abraham Lincoln, yet this year he's apparently planning on skipping the upcoming 150th anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Guess he doesn't want to be trapped in being quoted saying, "government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from this earth"

From the 'now it makes sense' department - we just got a solicitation to receive a 'pre-approved' Government Motors Corporation credit card issued by CRAPital ONE. Now we know why (_*_)lec B*ldwin and Samuel L Jack(_*_) want to know, "What's in your wallet".
---
Online story: "Kmart announced Monday that it will once again kick off its "Black Friday" at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and keep its stores open for 41 straight hours." -- Hmmm, hate to even give Kmart exposure, but why would anyone shop at Kmart when there will be no down time for the stores to properly clean the bathrooms for almost 2 full days?
---
Online story: "The IFC Center in Greenwich Village has announced it will not follow the policies of M.P.A.A. guidelines for the NC-17 rating in regards to "Blue Is the Warmest Color". The film features an explicit fifteen-minute lesbian sex scene. * They said they believe that mature teens should be able to see this film " -- This is about "mature teens"? Right...
---
Can you believe the Miami Dolphins have suspended a player for bullying? The guy claiming to be bullied is a 6'5", 350 pound offensive tackle. If I had someone on my team that could bully a man that size, I'd give him a bonus and contract extension.
---
Judas 00-bama says he has people working on the website to get it fixed. He hasn't said anything about trying to fix the cancelations of policies people wanted to keep. He's an unmitigated liar.
---
WTVM9 story: "Governor Nathan Deal announced Monday that Georgia's business climate has been named No. 1 in the nation by Site Selection magazine, one of the nation's top economic development trade publications. * The magazine releases its annual rankings each November, bases its research partially on a survey of corporate real estate executives and in part by an index of tax burden criteria according to the Tax Foundation and KPMG's Location Matters analysis and the states' performance in Conway Data's New Plant Database, which tracks new and expanded business facility activity." -- Not bad...
---
Online story: "They say loose lips sink ships — and U.S. prosecutors say lips got loose in the Pacific for hookers and Lady Gaga tickets. * “According to federal authorities a Malaysian businessman, nicknamed Fat Leonard, obtained US military secrets by lining up prostitutes, Lady Gaga tickets, and other bribes for the commander.” -- Aside from the redundancy of Lady Gaga * hookers.. could it be the Navy just needs to get these men back to shore more often?
---
McClatchy story: " in Colorado, voters will decide whether to approve a 25 percent pot tax. * The votes are the first since last November, when both Colorado and Washington state approved the recreational use of marijuana for all adults 21 and older. Those plans are set to take effect next year. * In Colorado, the 25 percent tax would include a 15 percent excise tax to pay for school construction and a 10 percent tax to pay for enforcement." -- Buyers' remorse? Putting a 15% tax to go to school construction... for what.. to build more bathrooms with better ventilation systems so the kids can smoke without worry of second hand smoke? And 10% for "enforcement"????? Enforcement of what...legalizing it should take financial pressure off of the police departments and court systems..

Going into the holiday season's biggest weekend for online sales, don't you know every big online retail site has double checked to see if any of the 00bamaCare designers had anything to do with theirs?
---
You know, Judas 00-bama really is a liar. If he considered it an error that your insurance policies are getting canceled by a computer glitch, he would be out telling you he was hiring new folks to help correct that glitch.
---
Random info: "In a nutshell, under Obamacare you can’t be required to provide information to doctors or health plans about legally owned guns, nor can your insurance rates be affected by such ownership. The government, in the execution of Obamacare, cannot collect information about or use information from other government databases about legally owned guns. -Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716 of Affordable Care Act/00bamaCare

Online quote site: "“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” - Winston Churchill" -- As Paul Harvey was oft to say, 'now you know the rest of the story". No wonder Judas 00-bama sent Churchill's bust back to England's Embassy.. Churchill's eyes followed hjim everywhere.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "The average yearly American salary is less than $25,000, yet Ted Cruz and Republicans flush $24 billion down the drain for the government shutdown." -- That $25K figure,, that for taxpayers? The government was shutdown for less than 3 weeks, yet $24 Billion would have paid about 960,000 people $25K for a year. Just how much does government waste?
---
Even stupider low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " If local Republicans are truly open-minded, they should invite representatives from the NAACP to speak at their next fundraiser." -- They do, but think about it... why would a person want to speak in front of a crowd of people who will ask questions such as, "What's your documentation?"
---
I'm curious... why would Council be so concerned about cutting cost in our Police Department when crime is rising, will continue to rise and there is 70% of a permanent 1% LOST sales tax dedicated for public safety?
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Examine what is said, not him who speaks.” — Arab proverb." -- Hmmm. an Arab proverb... you know, that pretty much explains Judas 00-bama's and liberals-in-general's lies... If someone truthful said what they say, the words would not have be examined...
---
L-E's " On this date": "In 1872, suffragist Susan B. Anthony defied the law by attempting to cast a vote for President Ulysses S. Grant. (Anthony was convicted by a judge and fined $100, but she never paid the fine.)" -- Hmm, Grant was a Republican... guess Susan Anthony should have sued the Obamarats of that day for voter repression.
---
L-E story: "India is set to launch a space mission to Mars today that, if successful, would beat China to the punch, although some wonder whether the undertaking is the best use of money when many Indians lack food, clean water or basic sanitation facilities. * The 3,000-pound Mars Orbiter Mission probe, or Mangalyaan, is set to lift off at 2:38 p.m. local time (4:18 a.m. EST) aboard a 350-ton, four-stage Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, the first step in its 300-day trip to the red planet. The cost of the mission is approximately $73 million." -- "$73 Million"? That's barely a nickel for every person in India! That would really feed them for what.. 2 seconds? Maybe we should out source NAS to India.

In a letter to the editor, Frank Myers states, "Over the last several years, I helped elect six of the present nine board members. He finishes with, :"For those who care for this community, the question I have for you is this — how can you sit by and watch as our public school system goes to hell?" -- What Columbus obviously must do to correct things is to make sure we know who Frank Myers is backing, and vote for the other person.
---
The Gold Star Wives, widows of fallen soldiers. proudly fly and maintain the flags in the median on Victory Drive. They need some flags, about 100 or so. The Flags cost about $25.00 a piece. Here's how you can help: Chattahoochee Valley Veterans Council at P.O. Box 12208, Columbus, GA 31917, or call 706-568-4592.

L-E story: " TUSKEGEE, Ala. — Comedian Bill Cosby railed against vulgar lyrics in some of today’s rap and hip-hop music and encouraged young people to embrace education. * He told the audience at the historically black college that “we’re not a vulgar culture” and that he’s not going to support anyone who is going to teach his grandchildren how to curse. * Cosby praised the university’s Golden Voices Choir, which performed before his address. He juxtaposed the choir’s music with the “vulgarity” that has become associated with rap and hip-hop music" -- I guess Bill Cosby will be back in hot water with the NAACP and Al Sharptons, and mainstream media...for staying truthful.
---
L-E story: "The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday upheld a lower-court ruling denying a state gun carry license to a man who pleaded no contest to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon nearly 20 years ago. * James Hertz pleaded “nolo contendere,” or no contest, to five felony charges in Florida in 1994 when he was 18 * He applied for a “weapons carry license” in September 2012. Quitman County Probate Judge Andrew Bennett denied his application because of the no-contest plea to the Florida felony charges. Convicted felons cannot get a carry license in Georgia. State law treats the acceptance of a no-contest plea as a conviction. * The law being challenged in this case doesn’t involve the constitutional right to own a gun, Hunstein wrote, adding that Hertz “has the right to possess a handgun inside his home, motor vehicle , or place of business without a weapons carry license." -- Wait a minute! How can a person convicted of felonious assaults with a deadly weapon get to buy/own a gun to begin with? Aren't those why there are restrictions and a waiting period while a search for such are being conducted?
