Online headline: "Massive Sinkhole Opens Up On Chicago's South Side" --
Ooops, my bad.. thought Judas 00-bama had created a new entitlement
program.
---
Online story: "NEW YORK (AP) — A 1969 painting by Francis Bacon set a world
record for most expensive artwork ever sold at auction. * "Three Studies of
Lucian Freud" was purchased for $142,405,000 at Christie's postwar and
contemporary art sale on Tuesday night. The triptych depicts Bacon's artist
friend." -- $142M... some liberal just paid out $142 M for bragging rights
amongst his/her friends rather than donate such to a program for the less
fortunate. Tomorrow, he/she will probably hold a fundraiser to re-elect Pelosi
and Feinstein.

Online story: "A Russian performance artist was hospitalized Sunday after stripping naked and nailing his testicles to a Red Square cobblestone in protest against the Kremlin's crackdown on political rights." -- What was he trying to demonstrate...he's nuts or something? Well, I believe him so I guess he has to be considered a good artist in the arts world...such as it is.
---
L-E headline: "Top Japan official vows crackdown on mob loans" -- Hmmm, film at 11:00.... dead body found 12:00?

NYT headline: "Typhoon Haiyan has left at least 10,000 dead and hundreds of
thousands homeless in the Philippines. And it has once again underscored for
many development experts a cruel truth about climate change: It will hit the
world’s poorest the hardest." -- Hmm interesting... the NYT compares a bunch of
hot air to Algore... works for me.
---
Guess we can expect a new theme song for the merger of 00-bamaCRAP and the
IRS... "The Eyes of Taxas are upon you".
---
Had another brain freeze on an item yesterday. I was thinking Gonzaga but
wrote Washington when I was reporting that a University was thinking about
expelling two students who fended of an attack on their dorm room with their
guns. Sorry... of course, it could have been Washington just as easily.
---
L-E story: "Columbus Council today approved allowing growler stores to give
customers samples of the beers they're considering buying." -- I guess we can be
glad marijuana wasn't legalized by Council. Wait a minute, didn't Council ban
free happy hour samples.. you know 2-for-1, buy-one-get-one-free?
---
Online story: "The idea of passing legislation to allow all Americans to
keep their coverage got a fresh boost on Tuesday when Mr. Clinton added his
voice to the debate. In an interview, Mr. Clinton joined the intensifying
criticism of the health care rollout and called on Mr. Obama to accept a change
in the health care law that would allow insurance companies to keep selling
policies that do not meet the new standards." -- Hey, before anyone thinks
Clinton is for reversing this because it's the tight thing to do. Clinton is
only interested in how this will affect Hillary's electability. Of course, Judas
00-bama could care less what's good for America or Hillary compared to what he's
trying to accomplish.
---
McClatchy story: "Kerry pledges U.S. support for Typhoon Haiyan recovery"
-- Hmmm, didn't then Senator Kerry also pledge support for Haiti, and we can see
how good that's been.
---
L-E story: "Arrests last week of five suspects charged in a burglary near
Floyd Road has resulted in clearing 26 burglary and theft cases in east and
north Columbus, police said Tuesday." -- Hmm, one of them was named Rickey
Henderson..... guess his parents were fond of a record setting player, Rickey
Henderson, "Man of Steal"....
---
Does anyone know what Jay Carney's real name is? Are you sure? All we know
for sure is that is the name Judas 00- bama told us, but we pretty well know how
dependable his word is.

In Douglas, GA. a clerk at a Circle K stored was fired for having a gun on
location after he fired at a would be robber. Company policy was the reason. You
know, companies that advocate policies like this are inviting criminals into
their stores and endangering the lives of people who are working for a living.
One class action suit should produce results, but until then, I'm avoiding all
local Circle K stores. I do not want to be a customer when a criminal comes in
to rob the place because he's aware the Circle K stores are "gun free".

L-E story: " Columbus Council voted Tuesday to authorize the city to go
forward with a plan to build a large roundabout at the intersection of River
Road, Bradley Park Drive, Green Island Drive and Cascade Road * The traditional
makeover had been approved and almost $1 million allocated for the project.
About $158,000 had been spent for design work, which will be of little use in
the new project. * The roundabout will cost considerably more than the initial
plan, between $1.75 million and $2.25 million, said Deputy City Manager David
Arrington, who brought the proposal before council Tuesday. It will also require
about $154,000 in additional design work" -- Hmmm, you know, if Council scrapped
this, it would have saved $312,000.00 in design work/rework which would offset
the $300,000.00 Mayor Obamalinson wasted on another project for high speed
rails, and the construction cost savings would offset the $2 million regular
city employees are being hit up for the healthcare program which was designed to
save everybody money.
---
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "You need to pay attention. It’s the
Republicans, not the Democrats, who are trying to keep people pressed down and,
so to speak, on the plantation." -- Yeah, right. It's those dastardly
Republicans that want everyone to be successful, rather than be dependent and
enslaved by inadequate government entitlement programs the Democrats push.

L-E story: "BOSTON — (_*_) Lawyers for Boston Marathon bombing suspect
(_*_) Bomber Brother 2 renewed their accusations Tuesday that prosecutors are
withholding evidence they need to defend their client against a potential death
penalty. (_*_) Bomber Brother 2's (_*_) lawyers complained that prosecutors have
failed to turn over several types of evidence they believe could help them argue
against the death penalty." -- Excuse me, but isn't the trial about his bombing
and killing and maiming American civilians? Death is just the potential sentence
for his guilt, and the jury should give that based simply on his guilt.
---
L-E story: " Under the Affordable Care Act, by January 2015, the Muscogee
County School District might have to offer health insurance to possibly hundreds
of more employees." -- Excuse me, but the MCSD doesn't "have to" do such. It can
monitor the work schedules better to keep part time and substitute employees
under the 30 hour thresholds as defined in 00bamaCRAP. For the record, though,
we should contact our board and insist it not purchase software from the makers
of the OObamaCRAP database.
---
L-E headlines in one story grouping: "Third robbery in two weeks hits
Miller Road Circle K" - " Summit customer held at gunpoint during robbery" - "
Buena Vista Road Waffle House robbed" -- All the "suspects were armed, and all
the suspects are black... hmmm, all the targets are "gun free".. what does that
tell you about attracting street crime?
---
Out of curiosity, are there any other MLB teams that have won their
division as many times in the last 22 years than Atlanta? From the local sports
page articles, you'd think the Braves had the worse combined record over that
period than any other team in either league.
---
Have you noticed (DOH!) how the sports writers around the country want to
displace Alabama from its top ranking? Currently it's FSU being proffered. You
know, Alabama is not my favorite team, in fact it's one of my teams biggest
rivals, but i recognize that Alabama is holding the scores down by sticking to
its game plan of using up the clock as much as it can between scores. Heaven
forbid if Alabama started using the hurry-up offense of its competitors.. Las
Vegas wouldn't even put out a line on the games if Bama did that.
