Rise and shine... and thank a veteran... it's their day.

The garbage trucks don't run here today, but they should in Washington, D.C.. "We" can't afford to have that stink on the streets an extra day.

HuffPost headline/story: "Conservative Groups Say They Have Enough Support To Repeal California Transgender Law * A coalition of conservative groups called Privacy for all Students submitted 620,000 signatures to get the initiative on the November 2014 ballot * Many people said we had no chance to collect over half a million signatures in just 90 days, but we have proven them wrong by gathering over 115,000 more signatures than the minimum needed, * California is the first state to pass a law detailing the rights of transgender K-12 students. * One of the provisions gives transgender students the choice of playing on either boys or girls sports teams. It also allows them to choose which restroom that want to use. * Gov. Jerry Brown signed the law, AB1266, in September. It goes into effect Jan. 1. * The goal of the law is to reduce discrimination against transgender students." -- First.. mainstream media has demonized the concerned parents of California by labeling them all as "conservatives", when it's really a group of sane parents who don't want their children exposed to such insanity as coed bathrooms and locker rooms. Secondly, it would turn high school sports into chaos over gender identity.

From the "oops" department: Made a mistake in yesterday's edition... Senator Menedez is connected with 'girlfriends' in the Dominican Republic, not Puerto Rico. Had a brain freeze for a moment. Sorry Puerto Rico. Heck, I'm sorry for bringing the Dominican Republic into this. Wish NJ was sorry for giving us Menedez.

You know, in the 2012 election, Romney won 29 counties in California.. the same as Judas 00-bama, BUT..... all the Electoral College votes went for 00-bama. There are actually plenty of sane people/voters in California, but not enough in the major cities to control the politics.

Online headline: "Lara Logan Apologizes For Botched '60 Minutes' Benghazi Report, Says Show Will Issue Correction" -- Well, shades of Dan Rather... of course, we 'rather' hope that CBS redoes the report with real witnesses and state department officials under oath. Of course, the real question is 'where was CBS a year ago when this was fresh news?

Online headline/story: "New Jersey man loses Medicaid, other benefits as his good deed goes punished
Police gave James Brady the $850 he’d turned in last spring, since nobody claimed it. But now, his government benefits like Medicaid have been cut through December because he didn’t report receiving the cash." -- You know, this really compounds the angst we have about Big Brother... IRS is bilked billions annually by refund fraud (and government employee problems), to scammers in Lithuania, but let a homeless guy in Jersey benefit from his honesty, and some government (_*_) goes postal on him. Oh, and where was Governor Christie on this matter.....

Online story: "HOUSTON (AP) — A house party in suburban Houston to celebrate a girl's 18th birthday erupted into gunfire that killed two teens, wounded many others, and caused some partygoers to flee for their lives through second-story windows, authorities said Sunday." -- I remember my 18th birthday party...no one even thought about bringing a gun.
---
Online headline: "Cops charge 16-year-old in Bryant Park shooting that he allegedly bragged about on Facebook * C**** D***** hit with attempted murder and other charges, coveted another boy's jacket and came back shooting after the wearer refused to give it up, police say." -- As sad as this is. mainstream media will stick its microphones in Al Sharpton's face to get a comment about discrimination and profiling and illegal police search, but won't give Dr. Ben Carson the time of day.
---
McClatchy story: "Statewide (in California), 50 percent said they backed the Affordable Care Act and 42 percent opposed it, according to the USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll. That runs counter to national polls that show more people disapprove of Obamacare than support it." -- During the last general election, the 58 counties in California were evenly split for 00-bama & Romney, yet Judas 00-bams got 60% of the overall vote.. I'd say 00bamaCare getting only 50% of the support now is a fairly revealing rejection of such.

McClatchy story: "KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It's no secret that pentobarbital, Missouri's new execution drug, is an effective killer. * Veterinarians use it to euthanize cats and dogs every day, and it has been employed as the sole drug in 30 U.S. executions this year. * What is secret is the name of the compounding pharmacy that will supply pentobarbital as Missouri's lethal injection agent. * That secrecy, along with a growing concern about the unregulated nature of such pharmacies, could propel the state into a protracted legal fight before it can carry out its first execution since early 2011. * A similar situation in Georgia over the summer prompted a stay of execution after a judge found that putting an inmate to death with secretly compounded pentobarbital raised crucial constitutional questions." -- This is about nothing more than carrying out a death sentence in an efficient and timely manner undermined by liberal concerns over whether the potion is champagne or moonshine. Where's Hillary when it matters... "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE! The real issue is carrying out justice.

McClatchy story: "The Navy on Saturday suspended access to classified material for two admirals who run Navy intelligence operations because of their alleged ties to the head of a Singapore-based company at the center of a widening Navy scandal. * The unusual restrictions were placed upon Vice Adm. Ted Branch, director of Naval Intelligence, and Rear Adm. Bruce Loveless, head of Navy intelligence operations, because of their alleged “improper relations” with Leonard Francis, CEO of Glenn Defense Marine Asia (GDMA), said Rear Adm. John F. Kirby, Navy chief of information." -- At least two more top military leaders are being shown the door... how many is that.. I know it's double digits, just not sure of the total. Funny, with all the scandals in IRS and DOJ, no one has been canned.. One was allowed to "retire", and one is still active. I guess it's not only who you know, but who you know supports you.

Online quote source: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.” ― Bil Keane" -- See what's happening when Obamarats separate us from God? We get no daily presents.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " One in five people is unemployed. Meanwhile, Wall Street, the one percent and Republican lobbyists are making record profits." -- Idiot! The "fact", well more like a "factoid", that 4 out of 5 are employed just accents the laziness of the 1-in-5 that prefers to explore government entitlement options than exploring the job opportunities. As for the people making 'record profits"... they have to... to support the government entitlement programs whose employees would be jobless if they can't keep the 1-in-5 on the hook.
---
L-E headline: "Kerry: Good deal or no deal with Iran" -- Or as Bleep Veep and Judas 00-bama might say, "Big F***ing Deal!. You know, when Israel AND Saudi agree on anything, we know any deal with Iran is not going to ease the pressure in the Mid-East.
---
L-E ad headline: "Obama's Massive $100 M Brain Research Initiative Targets Memory Loss" -- Well, another Judas 00-bama failure... he, nor, Pric Holder, nor Hillary, nor Lerner, nor Reod, nor Pelosi, nor Feinstein, nor mainstream media can remember anything.
