In education, it seems we have elite panels that come up with a curriculum to install for every situation, and when it fails, another panel solves it with another curriculum overhaul, and when that fails another panel makes another overhaul...so on and so on...(as Buzz Lightyear would say) 'to infinity and beyond"! Hmmm, wonder if the students get extra credit for planning a parent-free school building?

One of the house is listed as the home of "Mayor Teresa P. Tomlinson and Wade H. Tomlinson" -- Only Mayor Obamalinson can make a fundraiser for charity so political. I understand a catastrophic insurance policy with a high deductible... that's what people consider sort if a umbrella protection for family protection from really serious illnesses/surgeries. I do not understand high deductibles on preventive health insurance policies. There's plenty of averages to balance out normal needs of the average family that a well priced policy can make good coverage available and insure insurance companies can be profitable.

Few are the people who will actually get back the amount (sans interest and growth) they paid in all their working life.

From the "good grief" department - L-E story: "AUBURN — An Auburn University fraternity is suspended from campus over claims that brothers mistreated new members. * The Opelika-Auburn News reports that the university’s chapter of the Sigma Chi social fraternity has been suspended by the national fraternity for hazing. * Chapter officer Michael Ciatto says the allegations included claims about long, late-night study halls. Others claims included allegations that new members called pledges were forced to run errands for initiated brothers and take them to class. * The group can’t operate again at Auburn until January 2015." -- Making pledges be back at a decent hour to study is "hazing"? This should be the final nail in the coffin of Political Correctness.
