Republican lawmakers at a House Judiciary Committee hearing, and implied that
race may have played a role. * "Not all" Republicans are racist, said Rep. Steve
Israel (D-N.Y.) on Sunday, but "to a significant extent, the Republican base has
elements that are animated by racism, and that's unfortunate." -- Hmmm.. On the
other hand, you can say with equal, no, even more assuredness, that not all
Democrats are slave traders, and not all lawyers are scavengers.. but unlike
Holder's claim, 99% of the Democrats and lawyers fit the assumption. Let's don't
get me started on when Democrats stopped abusing their spouses and children..
Yeah, making generalizations is wrong, but the sorry aspect is mainstream media
won't hold Democrat's accountable for their misspeaks.

Isn't America a Limited Republic? Doesn't America still abide by the US Constitution that says "majority rules"? Shouldn't the judge rule that the states making contrary-to-the-majority laws respect the laws of the majority of states? According to this judge's opinion/activism, then all states must respect the marijuana laws illegally passed by Colorado and Washington.

I was actually in a miracle yesterday.. my family attended a part for my daughter in Athens on Saturdat, and on the drive back, stopped at the Mall of Georgia in Lawrenceville to shop for my youngest's elusive "prom dress of her dreams" My bride had taken her on an exhausting, though non-fruitful, journey since January so hopes had dwindled. Out entourage (wife, her sister, our youngest daughter, our middle daughter, my granddaughter and myself) walked into Dillard's, took the elevator to the 3rd Floor. My youngest walked into the gown area, grabbed the first one and swooned. She tried it on.. it fit perfectly; she lit up like a firefly, she was radiant. This was it! I dared not look at the price tag. I handed my card to the clerk. She scanned the bar code.. looked perplexed, then said that she had to look up the price as her register info suggested it was on sale. My ears perked up.. a moment later, she confirmed that it was "the last one", and was on sale for 65% off. I felt this sense of epiphany.. This had to be the first recorded prom event where a dad felt as much elation as his daughter did in buying her dream prom dress. I swear I heard angels singing over the Muzak system.
