A moment of silence please.. as we remember the infamous Sunday morning raid of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese in 1941. Or as liberals like to remember.. the day Japan appropriately responded to centuries of American intolerance. Hey.. what do facts have to do with liberal feelings?
HuffPost headline: "Obama diagnosed with condition" -- DOH! Chronic pathological lying (pseudologia fantastica). He says he has a sore throat caused by "acid reflux". reflux".. He's probably right.. even he can't "stomach" or digest all the lies he regurgitates.
---
HuffPost headline: "Ferguson protester faces charges" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought justice was being served on Holder or Obamageddon.

The Louisiana political runoffs were yesterday.. The Republicans knocked off Landreiu for their 54th Senate seat, and two more Republicans have been declared winners of 2 House seats (one more is still being counted) but with 246 seats, it's the largest Republican majority since the Truman /Dewey election in 1948. One of the races really stands out. One of the Democratic Congressional candidates was 3 time former LA governor and once convicted criminal (corruption). Fortunately, he was rejected by a HUGE margin in the runoff) Personally, I'd like to know how ex-Gov/ex-felon Edwin Edwards was even allowed on the ballot, but, then again, that's Louisiana Democratic politics. Even Ray Nagin was re-elected Mayor of NOLA following his Hurricane Katrina debacle.

Alabama is number 1. Season over.. Let's go home.
---
You know.. it's funny, in an awkward way, that after Saturday's games, only FSU appears vulnerable to be moved out of the NCAA Championship Bowl series. The politically correct committee had already placed the NCAA's ONLY undefeated (for two full seasons, now) team in 4th position so that FSU would have to play #1 Alabama in round 1 so that two Southern teams would not be in the final championship game... again...but now "the PC committee" may see an opening to move Baylor of Ohio State into the 4th slot following a close win for FSU.

HuffPost headline: "Holder speaks out on new profiling guidelines" -- Hmmm. hoping he was announcing he was joining "Profilers Anonymous"

Online story: "Many students, by default, will calculate their Pell Grant funds as being used to pay for qualified education expenses, because their college applies the grant for tuition. * It isn't wrong, but that amount will decrease the expenses eligible to be used to claim an education credit like the American Opportunity Credit * Instead, Pell Grants can now be allocated as living expenses, up to the full amount of actual living expenses -- even if a student's college actually applied the Pell Grant to his tuition and fees. The amount will then count as taxable income, " -- Oh.. Obamageddon really pushes for student loans and such for college students, but beginning in January, Pell Grants, a staple for college education, will be treated differently.. TAXABLE INCOME! Guess Obamageddon wants to get college students paying taxes while in school since they aren't getting taxable jobs when they graduate.

You know.. California just doesn't get it... With the Republican Party having won its largest margin since 1948 in the US House, you'd think there'd be some inroads in California... but, n-o-o-o-o.. California actually ended up with a gain of one Democrat in its representative base. Now, California has 39 Democrats and 14 Republicans. In fact, the vote is so lopsided liberal, that in the 39 Democrat wins, only 10 of the races were decoded by less than a 10% margin of percentage points
---
One of the reasons it's so difficult for Republicans to win in a California General election is that California holds a joint primary. The top two vote getters run in the General Election. It's all to common for their being two Democrats running rather than 1 Dem-1 Repub in the General Election. In fact, in 10 of the races, there was no Republican candidate on the ballot... just two Dems or a Dem and a NoPartyPreference candidate. If California doesn't secede, maybe Congress can vote them off the island.

L-E story: "AUGUSTA, GA. — An Augusta man will remain jailed on charges that he killed his 92-year-old mother and set fire to the house they shared." -- As macabre as this event is, I'm so glad it didn't happen in California. Some Appeals Court Judge would dismiss any conviction based on the guy now being a homeless orphan.
---
L-E commentary headline: "Natalia Naman Temesgen: What a melted wreath says about climate change" -- I have a lot of issues with Ms. Temesgen assessment of climate change based on a melty candy wreath.. Wishing for an agenda is pathetic. Any sugar based candy is going to melt if you put it outside exposed to the humidity and fluxuating temps. Colder than normal weather will do the same as warmer weather when humidity/moisture is a factor. As 76 degrees being within 4 degrees of a 2005 record temp of 80 for a particular day, I can remember going water skiing on a Christmas Day in the 1960's. We started from the beach at Green Island Marina, and skied back onto it when our run was finished. (Psst, if you didn't fall into the water, it was OK) Oh, if Ms Temesgen doesn't like our weather, it's going to be about 20 degrees colder this week.. maybe that will get a smile on her face. Oh, and her candy wreath would still "melt".

Hey, Mayor TomLYINGson... how many trips in a day can a high speed rail train mke to Columbus from Atlanta? How long will I have to wait after my plane lands to catch one? How long after will the next one run when I get delayed in baggage pickup and miss the departure time? For that matter, how do I book a Columbus bound trip when no one knows whether my flight will land on time, and will I forfeit my tickets if I miss?

L-E's Mary Sanchez, Kansas City Star commentary headline: "We must not let Mexico become a failed state" -- Good grief.. next she'll tell us this was one of the 57 states Obamageddon campaigned in during 2008. Hey, Ms Sanchez.. Mexico is not part of the US, nor are illegal immigrants US citizens or wards. Maybe you should move to Mexico and fight corruption from within.
---
L-E Leonard Pitts' commentary headline: "The true meaning of ‘cruel and unusual’" -- Well, Pitts finally nailed something.. he's described reading his commentary.
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “Any frontal attack on ignorance is bound to fail because the masses are always ready to defend their most precious possession — their ignorance.” — Hendrik Willem van Loon, Dutch-American journalist (1882-1944). --- Hmmm, as confirmed by the public confessions of Jonathan Gruber.
---
There's a uber liberal Clay Bennett (Chattanooga Times Free Press) political cartoon in the L-E that shows a White House wreath saying "Feliz Navidad".. Hey,, I know it's meant to be satirical, but the truth is the liberals hate Christmas in any language.. more relevant would be the wreath saying, "Feliz Fiesta" or "Feliz EstaciĆ³n".
