Online story: "Hyperloop, the ultra-fast tube transport dreamed up by
SpaceX founder and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, could be ready for passengers in
as few as 10 years. * Musk's futuristic transportation system, which could cut
travel time between Los Angeles and San Francisco down to 35 minutes. * ticket
price for economy-class seats would be about $20 to $30. But he said rides would
ideally be free -- perhaps supported by ads," -- Whoa! And our Mayor TomLYINGson
is trying to saddle us with high-speed rails that will cost $41.00 a ticket and
take 60 minutes to Atlanta. The "Hyperloop" from LA-SF is 382 miles in 35
minutes. Conversely, a 90 mile Columbus-to-Atlanta trip via "Hyperloop" could
theoretically be made in 9 minutes for $5-to-$6.00 and be up and running 10
years earlier. Looks like Mayor TomLYINGson has wasted $350,000.00 of our money
on her study.
---
Hmmm.. bet Mayor TomLYINGson would have backed the Pony Express and Stage
Coaches after trains were built.

Dinesh D'Souza.. much maligned and persecuted producer of the movie,
"America, Imagine the World Without Her" has challenged Obamageddon on his
position of forgiveness of Castro's regime. Say's D'Souza, "The schmuck: so many
Cubans were tortured and shot by the #Castro duo; how generous of Obama to offer
to forget about other people's suffering." and "Regarding #Cuba, Obama says
that we should get over things that happened before we were born—does this also
apply to slavery and segregation?" I imagine Obamageddon and Hillewinsky must
also agree on"hey, what difference does it make!"
---
Obamageddon must hate the movie industry.. not only is D'Souza retaliating,
but Sony has jump into the fray as well.
---
L-E headline: "Obama says Sony erred in canceling film" -- You know..
Obamageddon has time to look into and comment on what Sony has done, but says he
knew nothing about Benghazi.. the guy is schizo!
---
How quickly the worm turns....Obamageddon & Hillewinsky & their
spinmeisters quickly..incessantly attempted to blame Benghazi on a video..in
fact..the video maker got arrested. Anybody from Sony been arrested?
---
Oh! That time capsule found associated with Sam Adams and Paul Revere from
1795..has anyone heard what was in it yet. i thought I heard it was supposed to
be X-rayed last Sunday but can't find any updates...
---
Online story: "The Internal Revenue Service is crying poor in the face of
budget cuts and weighing the possibility of its own short-term shutdown -- even
warning that tax refunds could be delayed next year." -- Good grief.. this is
simply an Obamageddon orchestrated pity party to redirect anger at Republicans.
Thousands of new employees have been added to monitor OObamaCRAP; Lois Lerner is
drawing her pension, and many more who were under her are still employed.
---
Another IRS online headline: "IRS chief warns of refund delays over budget
cuts" -- The whining pity party revs up... of course the IRS chief said such..
probably under Executive Memorandum..

Online story: "Colorado's top law enforcement official promises to
vigorously defend the state's historic law legalizing marijuana after Nebraska
and Oklahoma asked the U.S. Supreme Court to declare it unconstitutional, saying
the drug is freely flowing into neighboring states. * The two states filed a
lawsuit seeking a court order to prevent Colorado from enforcing the measure
known as Amendment 64, which was approved by voters in 2012 and allows
recreational marijuana for adults over 21. The complaint says the measure runs
afoul of federal law and therefore violates the Constitution's supremacy clause,
which says federal laws trump state laws. * Colorado Attorney General John
Suthers said the lawsuit was without merit." -- "lawsuit without merit"? I guess
the "coffee pot" has been replaced with "just pot" in the Attorney General's
office. Personally, contiguous states should file criminal charges against
Colorado officials for aiding and abetting the interstate commerce of marijuana
when people are allowed to cross the state line of Colorado to buy then take
marijuana back to other states.

Online headline: "Parents of shooting suspect James Holmes' plead against
death penalty * His parents, who live in Rancho Penasquitos, California, say
they want to avoid a traumatic trial. One option would be a deal that calls for
a guilty plea in exchange for a sentence of life in prison without parole, they
said. * "If that happened, our son would be in prison the rest of his life, but
no one would have to relive those horrible events at a trial the media has
permission to televise," the parents wrote." -- You know.. I do understand the
James Holmes' parents..but I do not support their plea to have parents and
children and friends of the victims have to live their lives wondering if some
future activist judge will order him released on some technical crap.
---
Online story: "An independent panel appointed to investigate the Secret
Service after a series of security breaches around the White House released a
report Thursday that said the agency tasked with protecting the president of the
United States is “starved for leadership.” -- Hmmm... "starved for leadership"?
and why wouldn't the government agency closest to Obamageddon be starved from
the same lack of leadership the rest of the country suffers under him?
---
Online story: "President Obama got whiff of Havana when a guest at a White
House Hanukkah reception handed him a Cuban cigar." -- Hmmm " a guest".... hope
it wasn't a Clinton showing off one of those shared with you-know-who...

The Belk Bowl... wonder if the Charlotte Belk's stores have started having
their "fragrance strollers" hand out free tickets?
---
Speaking of the Belk Bowl.. does anyone know how to get to the Belk Bowl?
My guess is ...lose to GA Tech in the season finale.
---
Ah! College graduation...the pomp..the ceremony...We attended our
daughter's graduation yesterday. My spirits lifted when the president's
announcement that the presentation of colors, followed by our National Anthem,
then by the invocation really pleased me. Almost everything. That flag
presentation was snappy.. the National Anthem was beautiful, and the invocation
was sincere..poignant. .but...there had to be a "but".. no Pledge is one, but
the another bothered me..it bothered me 45-50 years ago, too. The president nor
faculty nor male students removed their caps for the National
Anthem/invocation.

UGA's Commencement speaker reminded us of a poignant moment at the end if
our first moon walk. Buzz Aldrin tossed a packet to the surface of the moon. The
packet contained a patch from Apollo 1 which exploded and killed the crew 2
years before. The significance is that our generation persevered and rededicated
its mission. Today, if that happened, Democrats and mainstream media would
protest the continuance of the program as too dangerous.
---
Oh! An update to a comment made a few days ago about CSU naming its gym
floor after my long time friend Herbert Greene, and my wondering what was
instore for his predecessor, Sonny Clements.. I was informed that the Lumkin
Center athletic office complex is named and dedicated in his honor.

NY has just outlawed retail sales of toy guns that don't have an orange
tip/marking on the barrel. Now we know what the hottest toy category will be on
EBay.
---
Wow..the St Louis "Racially Activist Minions" players who "dissed" police
officers everywhere donated $10,000.00 to Ferguson. Good grief, $10K won't put a
dent into the losses of one store that got looted. I hope the media calls those
players out as not only being uninformed, but bigoted and cheap.
---
You know.. police presence in black communities would probably be much
better if parents taught their children early on that the police officers are
their friend, not their antagonists. Seems it's a worse crime in some
neighborhoods to be friendly to the police than it is to shoot a neighbor.
---
L-E headline: "Oil’s slump didn’t just hit the stock market, it’s shaken up
the junk-bond market, too." -- Hmmm.. just when Columbus is going to issue junk
bonds to finance that TAD project that Mayor TomLYINGson promises won't cast us
taxpayers a thing...
