Item 8 - Replace outdated buses and related equipment. ($5,000,000.00) -- Hmmm, seeing as we have a surplus of some 300 more buses than drivers, seems like that "surplus" could be scavenged for replacement parts, and the balance sold off to other schools or public use. There's a variable in projecting new bus costs that spans $60K to $100K, adding 50 to 80+ buses seems a bit too much.
