Online story: "Bill Cosby commented Friday on the growing accusations of rape and sexual assault that have derailed his career comeback and crumbled his tour schedule in an interview with a Florida newspaper.
"I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos," the comedian told Florida Today. * "People should fact check. People shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos." * Cosby has never been charged in connection with any of the allegations.
Cosby's lawyer, Martin Singer, said the accusations had "escalated far past the point of absurdity," dismissing them as "fantastical," ''unsubstantiated" and "uncorroborated." * "When will it end?" he asked. "It is long past time for this media vilification of Mr. Cosby to stop." -- This should be a wake up call to 99% of the county's black population! Where are Sharpton, Jackson, Holder and Obamageddon? Cosby has always been for personal accountability as the building block for personal growth and success; traits that rankle and undermine the "government dependency" message Democrats and "black leaders" lure the black bloc vote into the fold.

Twitter accounts should be banned for news sources/reporters! I say this because of what "sound bytes" have done to political advertising, and when a "tweet" is limited to 140 characters, twitter reports are no better than "sound bytes".
---
Online headline: "CNN's Cooper has emergency surgery * Anderson Cooper took to Twitter to explain his absence from the air on Monday night." -- Oooops, my bad.. thought his lips might have been appropriately sewn shut.
---
Online story: "Major League Baseball umpire Dale Scott is the first active male official to come out as gay in the four major professional American sports leagues. " -- Good grief! The job of an umpire is, basically, not to be noticed... not to call attention to themselves... to be invisible..and unknown.. to the fans. MLB should fire him immediately for calling attention to himself.
---
Online headline: "Bowl Projections: Which teams make the first College Football Playoff? * Why Baylor deserves to be in the top four" -- Good grief.. you know it used to be arbitrary as to who was NUmber 1, so a second team was added to have a "playoff" so one team could claim physical possession. That brought on new arbitrariness as to which team should challenge Number 1. Now we have a 4 teams system, and now the discussion is to which team "DESERVES" to be Number 4. This is not progress..
---
HuffPost headline: "White House planning to force businesses to pay more overtime?" -- Good grief.. the HuffPost and Obamageddon actually think this is a good idea. Reality is that more people will be given shorter work week hours to keep even "accidental overtime" from happening.
---
You know.. the economy would have been worse.. much worse if not for the growth of gun sales since Obamageddon and Holder took office. It's almost ironic that two people so intent on eliminating the 2nd Amendment have actually reminded American citizens about why our founding fathers protected our rights to own/bear arms.
---
We need to have a "Paint the town "RED" event,, From now on, carry a can of "Red" paint in your car, and every time you see/hit a pothole, stop and paint it "Red" in memory of Red McDaniel because it ain't gonna get fixed without bringing it to "RED's" attention.

A mixed group of black/hispanic teens attacked a car near Ferguson, and when the driver got out, the three teens pummeled the driver with hammer until he was dead. His wife watched helplessly in terror inside the car. The couple were Bosnian descent, now American citizens. The sheriff made a statement to their neighbors that this was not a "hate crime" and that the couple was not singled out because they were Bosnians. Good grief.. the couple was WHITE, and they were attacked by a group of teens on a wilding. This IS a HATE crime! This is a racially motivated, probably retaliatory, HATE CRIME. Where is Sharpton and Jackson and Holder, and Obamageddon. Oh,, and where is mainstream media!
---
Talk about irony, as AG Pric Holder wages war on racial profiling, the Department of Homeland Security just published it's highest warning about Islamic terrorist attacks against our service members overseas.
---
Would you believe there's a mainstream Media campaign to defend the St Louis "RacistAssholeMorons" who dissed police officers everywhere with their already proven wrong demonstration for Michael Brown. It would be one thing if the police officer overreached his duties or went overboard defending himself, but that's what an informed grand jury said did not happen. The NFL should, at a minimum, prohibit sales of those players' numbered and name items being sold for their benefit.

What's the difference between Dr King's "Dream" for blacks and the Democratic Party scheme. Dr King wanted us to forget the color of our skin, and the Democratic don't want us to forget it.
---
Angry black "leaders" who only want to hold up men like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown as martyrs of racism, then don't expect me to listen. When they own up to racism being a plague that affects everyone, they'll have my attention. In the mean time, I would like all these angry black "leaders" at least comment on the 17 year old black teen who was robbing a white woman in Brunswick, GA and shot her 13 month old son in the face because the mother was broke. Then move on and discuss what a grand jury should find on the Bosnian man who was the victim of a racist wilding.
---
WTVM9 headline: "Local NAACP announces police reform demands" -- Hmm.. maybe the NAACP needs to look at the log in its eye first. The NAACP NEEDS to examine its failure in leadership.
---
L-E headline: "Man, 36, accused of pimping 13-year-old girl" -- Didn't the NAACP just demand "police reform"? Hey, NAACP, how about demanding reform within the black community morals!

Follow up to yesterday's CSU anti-parent episode:
Monday's episode with trying to find a " parent's" parking spot on the CSU campus so I could pay my daughter's next semester tuition brought up another issue. She was responsible enough to sign up by a certain date, yet if she had signed up one day later, her tuition "pay by date" would have been 5 weeks later. Responsible enrollee's parents had to pay by Dec 1st, yet if she had waited a day, parents wouldn't have to pay until January 8, 2015. Something makes me wonder why there are two payment dates to begin with. You'd think signing up early would get rewarded rather than coerced.

Jonathan Gruber Stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Racism will always be with us as long as it is taught in the home. Please think about it." -- Wrong! Racism will always be with us as long as the black community accepts Al Sharpton's definition of it. It's how he makes his money.. it's how he gets his share..and the rest of the black community be damned.

From the "I must have touched a nerve" department - www.booking.com is still trying to CYA on the mishandling of my complaint. This is the newest exchange:

From www.booking.com:
Dear Hal,

Thank you for choosing Booking.com.

I am writing to you regarding your reservation 801045704 at Savannah Marriott Riverfront, check-in date 2014-11-21, and check-out date 2014-11-23.

I attempted to contact you by phone, but was not able to reach you.

While Booking.com requires a valid credit card to make a booking, unless clearly indicated prior to booking, Booking.com does not charge guests. All details are forwarded to the hotel, who will process the payment within the terms of the booking, as selected by the guest. Because of this, all refunds are the sole discretion of the property.

Additionally, all hotels that choose to advertise on Booking.com set the rate/policy of the rooms that are advertised, as well as manage availability. As stated during the booking process, all special requests are subject to availability.

Should a guest want to confirm a special request, they need to phone or email Booking.com. An agent will then contact the hotel and ask if the request can be confirmed, then advise the guest.

I contacted Savannah Marriott Riverfront to find out what room you were provided, as well as inquire why you were not provided a room with two beds, as requested.

According to Elizabeth, manager on duty, the hotel did not have any King or Double Room with two beds available. Because of this, you were provided a free upgrade to a Junior suite. Because of the free upgrade, Savannah Marriott Riverfront is not willing to provide any additional compensation.

As I previously advised, Booking.com offer of a goodwill gesture in the amount of $39.92 is still available to you, should you choose to accept it.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to view Booking.com terms and conditions: http://bit.ly/1yxwIKB

Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Kind regards,

--

Kristen - You must be drinking too much corporate Kool-Aid or learned PR skills from Jay Carney. As a Marriott Rewards account, Marriott would gladly have done so if I booked it direct, but my contract was through www.booking.com. It is your site where I booked at the prices you said were the 'guaranteed lowest'. An "upgrade" is not even the issue.. it did not meet the contract I had with www.booking.com, and www.booking.com was luring additional sales that same afternoon when no such rooms were available. That, my friend, at a minimum, is 'false advertising' advertising.
