You know. ..there's an absence of gratitude in today's world.. A "security" person who's job is simply to escort adults (and their families) across the street from a parking area to our church grounds was talking to another person and complaining about her $7.29 per hour wage. I thought, what's with this person..she's being paid for a job that's not even necessary, and complaining about the hourly rate rather than being grateful someone has hired her at all.
