Online story: "Speaking at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta - the church
where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. preached - U.S. Attorney General Eric
Holder said Monday that he will soon unveil long-planned Justice Department
guidance aimed at ending racial profiling. * This will institute rigorous new
standards - and robust safeguards - to help end racial profiling, once and for
all, " -- YES! Or as Robin might say to Batman, "Holy Batcrap!" Holder will have
to arrest himself, Obamageddon, Sharpton and Jackson TODAY as the worst
profilers of white people, and all "hate crime" charges will have to be
eliminated on all crimes because, as it stands, only whites are profiled as
"haters".
---
Oh.. maybe Holder will attend the next Rams home game, and arrest any
players who support the "hate profiling" of Officer Darren Wilson... the betting
window opens in 10 minutes at 100-1 that this ain't gonna happen.
---
Online headline: "Embattled comedian Bill Cosby resigns from Temple
University board of trustees" -- Hey, Holder.. talk about "profiling" I haven't
seen you intervene on this....
---
While Holder is at it, will he also go after Muslim terrorists for
"religious profiling"?
---
You know.. while Holder says he's gonna wage an all-out-war of "racial
profiling", what he's actually doing would wipe out the police departments' best
weapon against crime.. the criminal database.
---
Online story: "NYC ready to decide on horse carriage ban
Mayor Bill de Blasio finally moved forward with a bill to phase out the iconic industry, which he called an inhumane practice." -- Hmmm, maybe Holder should get there and stop this "race-horse profiling".
Mayor Bill de Blasio finally moved forward with a bill to phase out the iconic industry, which he called an inhumane practice." -- Hmmm, maybe Holder should get there and stop this "race-horse profiling".
---
Online story: "Lawyers for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar
Tsarnaev on Monday made a second bid to move his trial outside Massachusetts,
arguing that "emotionally charged" media coverage and the widespread impact of
the attacks have made it impossible for him to get a fair trial in the state" --
Hmmm.. if the police had done their job, Bomber Brother 2 never should have
arrested and arraigned. Otherwise, his trial should be held on the starting line
of the Boston Marathon, and a firing squad burst of bullets be the official
starting action for the next race to begin!
---
You know... do you wonder if any of the NFL teams that are considering to
sign Ray Rice to a contract realize that they also get his wife, and all of her
"baggage" in the deal?
---
Online headline: "Californians prep for wet and powerful storm" -- Hmmm..
maybe some liberals will place "snail darters" all around California, then ban
rain storms that might disrupt their habitat?
---
You know..character is doing the right thing even when no one is
looking..stupidity is looting a store when cameras are running and the National
Guard is on duty.
---
Listening to Bill O'Reilly's conversation with the Brown family lawyer,
Benjamin Crump, should have ended Crump's career in high profile cases. He was
too uninformed about Brown's mother's boyfriend's criminal record to be
considered a competent attorney.
---
L-E headline: "Leonard Pitts: All Americans should wake up to racial
injustice" -- Hmmm..The first person who needs to look into the mirror is
Leonard Pitts. BTW, the headline was all I read...
---
L-E headline: "CSU to host community-wide reception for retiring president"
-- Poor Dr Mescon... most of the folks who will attend will be there just to
make sure he's leaving!
---
MIT offers free online courses on circuits and electronics.. 160,000 people
from 150+ countries. Great...now terrorists can learn intricate circuit designs
for suicide vests in their PJs while lolling in bed.
---
L-E headline: "7 MCSD teachers being sent to study at Harvard University"
-- Huh? Good grief, Harvard and other lib colleges just announced you can take
their online course for free..why send send anyone up there? Hmmm, I guess those
Northern libs just want examples of Southern folk to study and compare to their
stereotypical images they already have.

After seeing the new mini-garbage trucks the City is buying, I sorta
understand why the Mayor wants to end twice-a-week pick ups. Those trucks will
have to travel to the dump twice as often as the older ones.
---
Yesterday is a good example of why we need to fight Mayor TomLYINGson &
Council on trying to eliminate out twice a week garbage pick ups. Having skipped
one last week, the garbage trucks didn't get to my neighborhood until after 4:10
. Usually, my garbage gets picked up in the AMs. No tell
---
WTVM9 story: "CPD needs help searching for alleged Synovus burglar" -- Good
grief.. the CPD is what.. 7-8 blocks away, and there were probably, City police,
CSU police, off duty law enforcement officersm and MP's strolling Broadway at
that time.. no alarm sound?
---
I'm not one that deals with undocumented facts/ rumors (unless, of course,
there's a humorous touch and it'"feasible" yet not damaging .. even to
Democrats).. but I have seen some interest in reports of Hillewinsky abusing her
alcohol consumption. Rehab stints may be looming in the near future.
---
Public education has been in an anti-natural-parents mode for the past 50
years, but it's gotten worse in colleges lately. It was bad enough when colleges
started requiring signed child-permission forms before they would even talk with
parents, but yesterday demonstrated how far CSU has gone. Following my
daughter's plaintive plea that her tuition was due (yesterday). In spite of all
the info provided by my daughter, the CSU website did not want to deal with me,
so I drove over to the Bursar's office to take a check. There were 3 parking
lots whenin about 200 yards of University Hall.. I drove around for 25 minutes
trying to find a parking spot. Trouble is that only 5 spaces were reserved for
"visitor" use. The rest were for faculty (except for two which were reserved for
"Zipcars" - whatever they are) and all were filled. I then ventured around
campus looking for alternative parking options for parents.. there were none. I
finally found an empty faculty spot near the Bursar's Office. In case the
Parking Ticket Zealots came, I wrote a note to put in my window that read, "This
is the car of a parent who is in the Bursar's Office paying his daughter's
tuition (and probably your salary)".
---
You know.. St Francis generates about $300 Million in revenue by offering
consumer desired services. On the other hand, taxpayers are forced to pay in
about $300 Million.. each.. to the City and MCSD to spend on whatever they
determine they want to spend it on. If there was ever a time to get ngaged in a
full audit of the City and MCSD financial records, it is now!
---
Jonathan Gruber Stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The longest miracle. The GOP
hasn’t done anything since 2008 except create a dysfunctional government, but
they still receive an automatic annual five percent pay raise." -- Hmmm who do
people like this get their "facts" from....the L-E? The voters have stated three
times, since 2008, that they want Republicans back in control because of
Democratic Party socialism.
---
Once again, why is mainstream media so wrapped up in destroying Bill Cosby
for sexual improprieties yet blew off Bill Clinton's because he had a "sexual
addiction"?
---
L-E headline/story: "Amazon’s new robot army is ready for the holidays *
Now the e-commerce giant boasts that it has boosted efficiency — and given
workers’ legs a break — by deploying more than 15,000 wheeled robots to
crisscross the floors of its biggest warehouses and deliver stacks of toys,
books and other products to employees" -- Hmmm.. wonder how many people jobs
this eliminated, and Amazon won't be badgered by complaints about working
conditions, wages, or have to take out OObamaCRAP on them?

From the "I must have touched a nerve" department - www.booking.com is still trying to CYA on the mishandling of my complaint. This is the newest exchange:
From www.booking.com:
Dear Hal,
Thank you for choosing Booking.com.
I am writing to you regarding your reservation 801045704 at Savannah Marriott Riverfront, check-in date 2014-11-21, and check-out date 2014-11-23.
I attempted to contact you by phone, but was not able to reach you.
While Booking.com requires a valid credit card to make a booking, unless clearly indicated prior to booking, Booking.com does not charge guests. All details are forwarded to the hotel, who will process the payment within the terms of the booking, as selected by the guest. Because of this, all refunds are the sole discretion of the property.
Additionally, all hotels that choose to advertise on Booking.com set the rate/policy of the rooms that are advertised, as well as manage availability. As stated during the booking process, all special requests are subject to availability.
Should a guest want to confirm a special request, they need to phone or email Booking.com. An agent will then contact the hotel and ask if the request can be confirmed, then advise the guest.
I contacted Savannah Marriott Riverfront to find out what room you were provided, as well as inquire why you were not provided a room with two beds, as requested.
According to Elizabeth, manager on duty, the hotel did not have any King or Double Room with two beds available. Because of this, you were provided a free upgrade to a Junior suite. Because of the free upgrade, Savannah Marriott Riverfront is not willing to provide any additional compensation.
As I previously advised, Booking.com offer of a goodwill gesture in the amount of $39.92 is still available to you, should you choose to accept it.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to view Booking.com terms and conditions: http://bit.ly/1yxwIKB
Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
Kind regards,

Kristen - You must be drinking too much corporate Kool-Aid or learned PR skills from Jay Carney. As a Marriott Rewards account, Marriott would gladly have done so if I booked it direct, but my contract was through www.booking.com. It is your site where I booked at the prices you said were the 'guaranteed lowest'. An "upgrade" is not even the issue.. it did not meet the contract I had with www.booking.com, and www.booking.com was luring additional sales that same afternoon when no such rooms were available. That, my friend, at a minimum, is 'false advertising' advertising.
