Item 15 - Ft Middle School gym REPLACEMENT: $2,900,000.00 -- Good grief.. how can even the MCSD lack of proper and needed ongoing maintenance procedure justify the REPLACEMENT of a middle school gym?

Item 16 - Furniture, fixtures, and equipment where needed: $2,400,000.00 -- Talk about a "slush fund", this qualifies as blatant..How can this qualify as a SPLOST project under any aspect of the state laws on restrictive use of such revenues?

I have to comment one more time on what used to be the William H. Shaw Christmas Basketball Tournament.. now it's being called the William H. Shaw Classic because there will not be a championship game nor champion. I guess the Little League tradition of handing every player a 'participation trophy' is next so no one will leave a gym empty-handed or with low esteem.....You know.. why even keep score.. or hire referees.. for that matter, why even turn on the electricity at the gyms?
