Huff POOPOO headline:"Serious Flaws Revealed In U.S. Anti-Missile Nuclear Defense Against North Korea" -- Good grief.. the HuffPOOPOO is worried about a country that can't feed itself and has missiles that won't get past its own borders, while ISIS is planning assaults in our country? Liberals.. who are these people?
---
Online story: "U.S. police have shot and killed 385 people during the first five months of this year, a rate of more than two a day, the Washington Post reported on Saturday." -- Hmmm.. let's compare that to Chicago alone this year.. YTD: Shot - 982 ; Killed by shootings - 140.. Remenber, this is Chicago...ALONE.. If every state had its "Chicago", over 7000 people would be dead through May.. if the 385 killed by police had simply complied with police orders, none would probably been shot and killed. Being shot by a police officer is something the dead bring on themselves.

20 select women were put through the rigors of Ranger School. All ended up "washing out" before completion ( 3 have been invited to try again next year). All were better candidates than Hillewinsky at being our Commander-in-Chief of our military . You know, realizing this, and remembering how she botched Benghazi, who can imagine her as our President?
---
You know....until libs had "green" as a cause, we didn't have "global warming/climate change".. we had Mother Nature. Hmmm ..maybe the cause of climate change is the pursuit of green energy..makes as good or better sense that Algore's arguments..
---
Socialist Senator and Democrat candidate for the presidency, Bernie Sanders, says he wants to return to the 90% tax rate. First of all, nobody paid 90% because there were tons of tax deductions that no longer exist. Secondly, today's executives would simply set their salaries at $1.00 annually, and take the balance in stock/stock options and only pay capital gains if and when they sell their shares.. Uh uh..libs..you're seeing a pure example of how this works with the Clinton Foundations.. Payments for speeches are filtered through their Foundation and the Foundation picks up all their expenses, and none of this gets reported , or taxed as personal income.
---
Yesterday, I commented on the woman head of the San Francisco Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) stating we had no right to honor our military dead killed in defense of American freedom.. I questioned Obamageddon's inclusion of Muslims in the fiber of our Constitution and history.. today, I want to point out that this woman wouldn't be allowed to speak out like this in an Islamist country under Sharia Law.. What hypocrisy!
---
Bleep Veep Biden's son, Beau.. dies of brain cancer at age 46.. Out of sympathy for our VP, I will make no commentary..

L-E story: "The past month’s debate about whether the Muscogee County School District has enough relevant textbooks for its students isn’t even a relevant question for educators such as Sher-ah Cash.
* “This is my sixth year teaching,” she said, “and I’ve never used the textbook.” * The state’s goal, as expressed in the Digital Classroom Act of 2015 (Georgia Senate Bill 89), is to have, by July 1, 2020, all instructional content purchased by local school boards to be in an electronic format and all local school systems to provide a wireless computer device to each of their students as the principal source of reading or accessing instructional content." -- You know.. this may save money.. the semester text books I have to buy for my college student children cost more than buying them a notebook computer or "reader". Well, I don't have to spend as much on them as the MCSD seems to think it has to..
---
L-E headline: "Councilor wants audits of sheriff’s, marshal’s offices * Davis said he is seeking efficiency and transparency" -- Great start.. as a test. let's audit the Garbage Pick-up/Recycling Departments, followed by an audit of Mayor TomLYINGson's e-mails and budget notes., then audit the effectiveness of the Public Safety Committee grants. MCSD... YOU"RE NEXT!
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-triple extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff:" " Rich people don’t create jobs. Jobs create rich people." -- Hmmm and who created the "job" that made the first "rich" person.. for that matter, the "Next" rich person. Reagan was dead-on when he said that libs/Democrats know so much that just isn't right.
---
You know.. I'm stunned at the interest of mainstream media wanting to know what current and potential GOP candidates would have done following 9-11-01. Even hindsight is not 20-20, but can you imagine what mainstream media would have done if following the act of war, Bush43 had taken off on an "apology tour" of Muslim countries.... and what today's arm-chair-QB's would be saying what they would have done?
---
L-E headline: "Blatter says FIFA corruption probe won’t lead to him" -- Heh heh heh... does anyone remember when Democrat Gary Hart challenged the media to try to catch him in any "Monkey Business"?

Online story: "A San Francisco man who created the underground drug-selling website Silk Road was sentenced Friday to life in prison by a judge who cited six deaths from drugs bought on his site and five people he tried to have killed. * Ross Ulbricht's 2013 arrest shut down what prosecutors described as an unprecedented one-stop online shopping mall where the supply of drugs was virtually limitless, enabling nearly 4,000 drug dealers to expand their markets from the sidewalk to cyberspace * U.S District Judge Katherine also ordered $183 million forfeiture. Prosecutors had not asked for a life sentence, saying only they wanted substantially more than the 20-year mandatory minimum. * His lawyer, J***** Dr(_*_)tel, said he was "disappointed tremendously" by the sentence." -- "disappointed tremendously" by the sentence? I reckon so..his clients access to pay his fees was shut off..and now no drug dealers will hire him in the future.. but you know.. it sure would be refreshing to hear an attorney to say he/she was "disappointed tremendously" in his/her client and the miseries his/her client wrought on society. Unfortunately, that aint going to happen

Online headline: "New trend scares Putin far more than Obama does" -- DOH! Reruns of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" scare Putin more than Obamageddon..
---
Online headline: "The Tampa Bay Lightning will play for the Stanley Cup, winning their third straight game at Madison Square Garden 2-0 on Friday evening." -- Wow.. let's be honest, but who in the Baby Boom generation would ever have dreamt of a Florida team winning at ice hockey?
---
Online headline: "The US may have attempted to hack North Korea" -- "may have attempted"? Good grief.. can't Obamageddon do anything right?
---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Every Child Worldwide Will Get 12 Years Of Free Education By 2030: UN" Good grief.. has the UN paid Bill Clinton to parse and define "free"? To liberal politicians, "free" just means somebody else pays for the costs and expenses while they take credit for a campaign promise that gets them re-elected.
---
Online headline: "International pop-music icon Cher is not particularly impressed with how President Obama has been waging war on the Islamic State." -- Hmmm.. guess Cher is trying to get the Baby Boomers to start playing and buying her music again.. but it's not going to work..
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "GOP Candidates Can't Answer 'Just One Question': Would You Have Invaded Iraq?" -- Hmmm.. even Hillewinsky was for it before she was against it, but why is mainstream media more interested in Republicans' answers to this than they are to Hillewinsky's answers to Benghazi, her e-mail deletions, and her Foundations' "pay for play" (a.k.a. "bribery") donations? You know.. it would be nice if mainstream media asked Hillewinsky ANY question that wasn't pre-approved by HIllewinsky to be asked...
---
From the "speaking of questions mainstream media ought to be asking Hillewinsky" department - Online story: "The State Department under Hillary Clinton authorized arms sales to countries that had donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, according to a new report. * The State Department approved $165 billion worth of weapons sales to 20 foreign governments during Clinton's tenure, the International Business Times reports. Among the countries involved in the sales were Algeria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. * The Clinton Foundation received between $54 million and $141 million in donations from the foreign governments and defense contractors involved in those sales, the report says. * Certain defense contractors also paid her husband, former President Bill Clinton, for speaking engagements during that time" -- Once again.. why hasn't George Stomped-his-own-nose-in-it been fired?
---
Online story: "A new book by Peter Schweizer, Clinton Cash, questions whether foreign governments sought to curry influence with the Clintons by making donations to the foundation. * The Clinton campaign has dismissed the book as a hit job by a conservative author, arguing it is filled with "sloppy research and attacks pulled out of thin air." -- "attacks pulled out of thin air"? I tell you what.. the mainstream media should at least ask Hillewinsky why she doesn't "sue" Schweizer in court to refute his claims.. yeah..right.. I don't think she'll ever get into a question and answer session in a court where she takes an oath to tell the truth. (PS - Congressional Committee hearing don't count, has half the "jurors" are Democrat supporters)

Random thought: There's one real good reason not to merge the Columbus Police in with the Sheriff's and/or Marshal's Departments. I still want to tell my granddaughter to look for, and respect, the blue uniforms if she's needing help.
---
Online story: "Just last week, while the overwhelming majority of Americans were preparing to pay homage to the fallen heroes of our military who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, a Muslim leader in San Francisco publicly came out against the very idea of Memorial Day. * Zahra Billoo, executive director of the San Francisco chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, took to Twitter to publicize her inner struggle with honoring the fallen on Memorial Day while remaining staunchly anti-war." -- Hey, Obamageddon.. would you please recount why you consider Muslims as being thread worn into the very fiber of our history? I think American soldiers serving our country can do without this receiving this "CAIR Package"...
---
Rehash of yesterday L-E story: "U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop used his brief remarks at the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce military appreciation breakfast on Thursday morning to reiterate his concerns about deep budget cuts to the U.S. military. * Starting his comments by saying “our freedom is not free,” Bishop was adamant that this is not the time to slash military spending." -- Good grief.. I wish we could hear Bishop say, "the War on Poverty entitlement programs are not free"! When Democrats start wrapping themselves up in the American flag for re-election concerns, they ought to be asked why Democrats have started entitlement programs that have cost the American taxpayers $22 TRILLION dollars in the past 50 years, yet are the initiators of military cuts when faced with funding entitlements versus our soldiers. In the 239 year history from the date of declaring and winning our independence from England, ONLY $7 Trillion dollars have been committed to our military to keeping our freedoms.
---
L-E headline/story: "Black clergy, LGBT community discuss film * The film, titled “The New Black,” drew about 25 people to an auditorium at the Columbus Public Library on Macon Road. The private screening was organized by EITA Inc., Georgia Equality and Promised Land Films, an organization that released the film in 2013. * Among those in the audience were about 10 members of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance in Columbus who serve as ministers at black churches in Columbus and Phenix City. They watched as the film depicted a national schism between socially conservative black congregations and the black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. * some local black ministers who attended Friday’s screening said they see their religious views against gay marriage and the push for gay rights as two different issues.
* “I don’t think that we should equate sexual preference with being racially born,” said the Rev. Chester Hayes, pastor of Greater Beulah Baptist Church, during a question-and-answer period following the documentary. * “I think there should be a dividing line. Our preference and our birth are two different things and I don’t think that we should tie them together.” -- What I see is a very small element (about 15) is trying to drive an additional racial wedge between blacks and whites in order to push their own agenda. As Rev. Chester Hayes said, " “I think there should be a dividing line. Our preference and our birth are two different things and I don’t think that we should tie them together.” He's right, and this alone could be a unifying building block for better racial relations and tolerances in Columbus..
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Will one Republican step forward and demand the millions stolen by Wall Street and other corporations be shared with Americans who have been robbed? We are waiting …" -- Hmmm.. on the other hand, how about a Democrat stepping forward and ask for accountability of Obamageddon's "bail out" of Wall Street and the Unions, the Carter/Clinton banking reforms that created the housing/mortgage "bubble burst", the waste of $22 TRILLION dollars on the Democrats' "War on Poverty" (speaking of that.. have you ever seen a Democrat wave a "Mission Accomplished Banner on this after 50 years) and the Clinton Foundation foreign donations?
---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " Superintendent Lewis asked board member Myers if he was calling MCSD staff liars, but didn’t want to discuss what Myers was accusing him of lying about … isn’t that strange?" -- No stranger than Hillewinsky trying to dismiss her scandals as "conspiracies", yet not wanting to discuss and/or refute them.... or Bill Clinton saying, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman... Monica Lewinsky" .
---
L-E headline/story: "Cuba removed from U.S. terror list * The Obama administration on Friday formally removed Cuba from a U.S. terrorism blacklist," -- Good grief.. looks like getting the Democrats added to the list would be good for America's future....
---
Instant repeat - L-E headline/story: "Cuba removed from U.S. terror list * The Obama administration on Friday formally removed Cuba from a U.S. terrorism blacklist" -- Did you catch that? ... "The Obama administration on Friday formally removed Cuba from a U.S. terrorism blacklist" .. Have you noticed how Obamageddon will spread the "credit" on his worst decisions, versus claiming it all on others that he doesn't feel will come back to haunt him in the history books...?
---
Where is Bleep Veep Biden? He made such inferences to running for the Democrat nomination during Obamgeddon's first term, yet is suspiciously "quiet" at this moment.. has anyone checked the Clinton Foundation and Biden's checking/savings accounts for any huge corresponding amounts of money being exchanged?
---
Random thought: Our Columbus Ledger-Enquirer still runs reruns of Doonesbury. Why? Is it just that the L-E cannot... will not .. let go of the past?
---
L-E headline/story: "Columbus woman robbed outside of Greystone at the Woodlands apartment complex * A 55-year-old Columbus woman told police that someone robbed her outside of her Greystone at the Woodlands apartment Wednesday night, authorities said. * It's unclear if Columbus officials have named any suspects in the case, but reports show that no arrests have been made. * Two officers were called to the 6000 block of River Road in reference to the robbery Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. * Police revealed in the report that the incident happened on a front sidewalk between 9:40 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., but they didn't indicate what was taken in the robbery." -- "didn't indicate what was taken in robbery"? Well, for starters, a community/area of Columbus had its security and its expectations stolen.. add on that Mayor TomLYINGson supporters in the area are not going to slough this off as non-existent crime, and her argument for cutting the budget on our law enforcement personnel just got shot down.. I'd say there was plenty stolen...
---
From the "you have to read between the lines to see what is not being said" department - L-E headline/story: "Federal judge arrested last year to resign from bench * Politicians from both parties called for him to step down after arrest for domestic battery * Several high-ranking politicians of both parties had called for Fuller to voluntarily resign. Alabama’s two U.S. senators, Republicans Jeff Sessions and Richard Shelby, have both said the GOP appointee should give up his judgeship." -- You know.. if this judge had been a Democrat appointee, there'd be only Republicans calling for his resignation, and Democrats would be crying "discrimination" and "right wing conspiracy".
---
L-E headline: "Coaches blast new nCAA eligibility standards * A new organization of minority basketball and football coaches is calling for changes in NCAA eligibility standards set to be enforced in 2016. * The National Association For Coaching Equity and Development issued a statement to The Associated Press on Friday saying the changes disproportionately target minority and less affluent students. * Next year, the NCAA will set tougher standards for athletes to participate as freshmen. They include 10 core courses that must be completed before an athlete’s senior year in high school, and a grade-point average of at least 2.3 in 16 core courses, up from a 2.0 GPA. * NAFCED held its first annual meeting in Atlanta last weekend. The group is led by coaches such as Tubby Smith and John Thompson III." -- Good grief.. These coaches should be grateful that the NCAA is try to make better students out of high school athletes! Higher grade requirements will benefit all players to be better students.. capable students before they take on the rigors of a college curriculum.. Objecting to higher standards makes the NAFCED look like it doesn't care for the athlete's future after sports.

L-E headline: "McIlroy misses cut at Irish Open" -- Well.. Rory has always said he wanted to emulate Tiger Woods.. but I'm guessing he would have liked to have 15 or more years more before he started..

L-E headline/story: "TOP 10 HIGHEST-PAID FEMALE CEOS * Last year, the median pay for women CEOs rose to $15.9 million, a 21 percent gain from a year earlier, according to a study by executive compensation data firm Equilar and The Associated Press. That compared with median pay for male CEOs of $10.4 million, which was down 0.8 percent from 2013." -- Well.. there are 10 women CEOs highlighted, and all are more eminently qualified to be a president of the US than Hillewinsky. All are required to live within budgets, control expenses, and create timely jobs.. none of those requirements are even in Hillewinsky's "playbook". Oh.. and do see any complaints about these women's pay having to be equal to men's?

Online story: "A mansion under construction in Bel Air is expected to be on the market for a record $500 million. * The property includes a 74-thousand square foot main home. That's more than half the size of an average Costco store! * The master bedroom alone is 5,000 square feet. The estate will also have three smaller homes, a 30-car garage, four swimming pools and a tennis court. * It's all expected to be completed in a couple of years." -- Hmmm wonder if the MCSD SPLOST Committee dreamed this up...it's not quite as simple a comparison to the structures that the MCSD SPLOST Committee threw out as the $500,000,000,00 estate not only includes the 74,000 sq ft main house, but 3 smaller homes, outdoor amenities plus, I'm sure, ample prime property versus the "guesstimates" of the MCSD SPLOST Committee for stand alone slab & metal buildings for wrestling/weight rooms, but ..BUT at $675.00 a square ft for, I'm sure "extravagance personified", construction, the California home is a bargain compared to the $312.00 a square ft free standing "Action Buildings type structures on a slab" projection for wresting/weight rooms at our schools.

Now here's an Attorney General, Doug Peterson, we might want to hire for Columbus.. The Nebraska legislature overturned its Governor's veto of a bill to end the death penalty. One of the aspects of that law was "It is the intent of the Legislature that in any criminal proceeding in which the death penalty has been imposed but not carried out prior to the effective date of this act, such penalty shall be changed to life imprisonment." The AG cited a Nebraska Constitutional Amendment that gives the Board of Pardons exclusive power to change final sentences. He added, "We believe this stated intent,(to commute existing sentences to life) is unconstitutional,".. Obviously Peterson doesn't stand a chance as an Obamageddon appointee to DOJ..
---
Once again.. I ask why Wake Forest University invited Stephen Colbert to address its graduating class of 2015.. His remarks, "From now on, you fill out your own report card. So do yourself a favor: Be an easy grader. Score yourself on a curve. Give yourself extra credit. You have the power. You are your own professor now. I hope you find the courage to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong, and then, please, expect as much of the world around you. Try to make the world good according to your standards.", sound like what the high school graduates in the Baltimore and Ferguson riots must have heard.
---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Iran is America's de-facto ally in the war against ISIS" -- Good grief.. this is the 21st Century version of "the spider and the fly" or "the Lady or the Tiger".. Of course, with the Common Crap school curriculum, mainstream media and Democrat voters missed the poem and fable in school.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Sweden Is About To Give New Fathers A T paid paternity leave, hird Month Of Paid Paternity Leave" -- Good grief.. if fathers need "paid paternity leave", it should be saved for when their sons reach the teen years and need the full time support only a dad can give.
---
Mainstream media is convinced that Hillewinsky "is the worlds smartest woman". Of course, mainstream media decided that on how Bill defined "is", and we know what he feels sex "isn't".
---
I ask one question.. how does a Secretary of State not have a government e-mail address, and the President and Harry Reid not KNOW this at the time?
---
Remember Shepard Fairey? He's the artist of the famous "HOPE" posters for Obamageddon. Rumor has it that Fairey is working on an outgoing poster to capsulize Obamageddon's presidency.. and the working title is "NOPE".
---
One last comment... The NFL needs to get its act together on footballs. Both teams in the NFL, MLB, even the MSL use the same ball for all aspects of every game. Shoot, even the NHL teams play with the same puck. Why does the NFL let each team use its own balls then quibble about how the QB's like the air pressure?

You know..if Darwin was right, during ape evolvement, wouldn't apes have learned to speak the language(s) of man? Sorry, libs, God lives.

Online "headlie": "Sharpton Becomes Laughingstock After Asking Controversial Question on the ‘Cause’ of Texas Flooding" -- Wrong! Al Sharlatan has been a laughingstock since he first referred to himself as "reverend".

Online story: "The United Nations World Food Program in 2013 and 2014 used millions of dollars of specially designated donor trust funds as an all-purpose piggy bank, often without creating safeguards to ensure the money was used properly and as its donors had intended, according to an internal report by WFP’s Office of the Inspector General." -- Good grief.. it sounds like the UN used the Clinton Foundations as its model... hmmm, how much did the UN pay Bill for an organizational speech?
---
Online story: "A prison in downtown Detroit that was deemed too expensive to complete is now a construction site frozen in time that still costs cash-strapped local taxpayers more than $1 million a month.
* It was supposed to be a state-of-art lockup in the heart of the Motor City, but four years after breaking ground, with construction costs totaling $150 million and no end in sight, the city pulled the plug on the project four years ago." -- Shoot.. why not finish it and make it the home of all Michigan Democrat politicians while serving in office.. call it "the CON-domaximum Gated Community".
---
Online story: "Hillary Clinton went down to Dixie this week and tried to pull off a faux Southern accent. Sweet Lord Almighty, folks – it was pitiful. * Miss Hill’ry was drawling and dropping “g’s” all over the stage during a speech to Democrats in South Carolina" -- "dropping "g's"? More like dropping "G's" to buy votes so she can beat "none of the above" in an uncontested primary election.
---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton pledges to strengthen equal pay for women in Southern debut" -- Hmmm sorta easy when she doesn't have to create ..or promise to create.. jobs to begin with...
---
Oh.. if Hillewinsky was to win, can you not see her standing up in her first State of the Union speech and apologizing that she tried but just couldn't find a way to equalize pay...just like Bill did when he campaigned on tax cuts but couldn't deliver?
---
Good grief.. Augusta citizens are trying to find out details to a proposed "storm water fee".. please don't let Mayor TomLYINGson see/hear about this. It would be like having her propose another Queen TT Lounge and having the SPLOST Committee issue the specifics.
---
Oh! While in Fernandina Beach last weekend, we were introduced to a "roundabout" in a casual traffic situation with a mix of experienced and inexperienced drivers.. and both looked bewildered at how to complete their driving tasks.. Out-of-staters seemed not to know the difference in a :Yield" and "Stop Signs".. just glad there were no semi's or logging trucks flying through..
---
L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * SUPERINTENDENT PROPOSES RAISES IN 2016 BUDGET * Plan would set aside $2.7 million for raises * After the meeting, MCSD chief human resources officer Kathy Tessin estimated 30-40 percent of the 3,900 full-time employees would receive some salary increase (part-timers won’t) if the board passes the recommended budget. Three more meetings are scheduled to do that:" -- "After the meeting"? Why did this have to be explained "after the meeting"? 30-40% of full time workers mean that only 1170-1560 would see raises .. and those would be capped at an average between $1730.00 and $2307.00.. of course it doesn't look like all teachers will get one..and administrative staff weren't eliminated although "they" recently averaged a nearly 10% raise. Any teachers want a recall election on the SPLOST?
---
From above story: "Revised pay scale for bus drivers and skilled maintenance workers, totaling $678,200, an average increase of 4 percent for 269 employees." -- Wait a minute.. is claiming bus drivers are "full time employees? How does even two 3-hour routes a day equate to "full time employees"?
---
From above story: " The administration proposes the following raises:
• $1,200 one-time lump sum for all certified educators who have at least 22 years of experience. Teachers and administrators who would qualify total 437, amounting to $625,000." -- Good grief.. the "raise" gets even more paltry as the details emerge.. 437 teachers with a minimum working experience of 9,614 combined years will get a $1,200 "bonus" to make up for 8 years of no raises. Hmm that's only $150.00 a year for 8 of the most productive tears of their services. On an hourly rate (based on 40 hours a week for 38 weeks (1,520 hours) annually or 12,160 hours over 8 years for an 8 year pay raise of less than 10-cents an hour.. Yeah.. Lewis loves his teachers.. some of them anyway. Wonder how many teachers with 21 years of=r less experience will perceive their future in the MCSD system?
---
From the same story above: "The proposed raises are the payoff of one of Lewis’ key arguments he made for renewing the 1 percent Special Purpose Local Option Sales. Columbus voters in March passed the referendum to collect $192,185,000 for capital projects or until the tax, which returns July 1, expires in five years. Lewis emphasized during the campaign that SPLOST money can’t be used for personnel, but he also stressed that having the SPLOST makes the district’s financial situation more conducive to giving raises because less operating money would be needed for capital expenses." -- "less operating money would be needed for capital expenses"? Wait a minute.. then only way to accomplish this would be cut a barely existing maintenance budget which means more buildings and HVAC systems would "rot" at a quicker pace.. and another SPLOST would be "justified"..in the minds of the MCSD/MCSB.. Contact your reps FAST to get SPLOST referendums scheduled only on General Election dates!

L-E headline: "Bishop concerned on military spending cuts" -- Good grief.. why hasn't Bishop been concerned that in the last 50 years.. $22 TRILLION has been spent on entitlement programs versus $7 TRILLION spent on our military over the past 239 YEAR since America declared its independence from England in 1776!
---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Lord, I do love my neighbors, but if they are Republicans, You must be very patient with me." -- Good grief.. it their is a finite moment of stupidity for a Democrat. there's not much room to pass this one..Lord.. give his neighbors tolerance for knowing they are paying their mortgages and supplementing his!
---
Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Thank you Mayor Hydrick for putting the information in the Ledger. I do hope the people on the council read and understand that that’s probably about 90 percent of the citizens’ feelings." -- Good grief.. the Columbus Water Works has put Kool-Aid in the Hilton Avenue water pipes. That and Mayor TomLYINGson is about as adept at Obamageddon as surrounding herself with sycophants..
---
L-E story: "George Pataki, the 9/11-era New York governor who achieved electoral success as a Republican in a heavily Democratic state, announced his candidacy for the presidential nomination Thursday, offering himself as a unifying figure in a divided nation." -- Well.. with the possible exception of Rudy Giuliani (but he transcended from Democrat-to-Independent-to-Republican), there are no true Republicans in NY.. Illinois for that matter.. Just wanted to set the record straight.
---
L-E story: "Nebraska ended the nation’s last ban on driving privileges for young people brought into the United States illegally as children, after the Legislature voted Thursday to override a veto from the state’s new Republican governor." -- Good grief.. the legislature overrode Governor Ricketts' veto on eliminating the death penalty a couple of days ago, and now this.. this is probably worse that the previous veto override.
---
L-E editorial commentary: "Nobody should spare any tears for Timothy Foster. Almost 30 years ago he brutalized, sexually molested and murdered a 79-year-old Floyd County woman, and he's been on death row since his conviction the following year. If anybody has ever been a capital punishment poster child, Foster fits the specs. * But while his conviction and sentencing might be otherwise moot, the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to review one important aspect of the case -- the prosecutors' striking of all blacks from the pool of jurors qualified to hear a death penalty case." -- Good grief.. let's take a poll of black citizens of Floyd County who were old enough to serve on a jury at that time, and ask them if they think Foster was innocent. Case moot..
---
Online L-E story: "Nearly half a million years ago, a lifeless body was brought to a communal burial site and dropped down a 43-foot shaft into a mass grave known as the “Pit of Bones,” located in what is now northern Spain. Scientists have reconstructed the skull and discovered that the person died of blunt force trauma and was victim of the world’s oldest known murder." -- Good grief.. how can anyone claiming forensic/scientific credentials make this claim? To begin with.. even live. a 43 foot drop would kill a man.. even one who was dropping another body down the "shaft".. Who knows.. this might have been simply a burial site/ceremony of respect for an accidental death at another location. No praise should be given for cockamamie..

Thursday, May 28, 2015

Online story: "The days of the death penalty in Nebraska are ending. * Lawmakers repealed the death penalty on Wednesday with a 30-19 vote that overrode the veto Republican Gov. Pete Ricketts signed on Tuesday. One week earlier, lawmakers voted 32-15 to pass LB 268, which would replace the death penalty with life without parole as the state's highest penalty. * The number of death penalty states in the U.S. stands at 31 following Nebraska's repeal." -- Good grief.. well, when 1 door closes, another opens.. we should post signs in high crime areas that if one uses a gun in a crime, his/her sentence will included state banishment and a one-way bus/boat ticket to a state of his/her choice that doesn't have the death penalty:
Alaska, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin or the Dist. of Columbia.

HuffPOOPOO story: Saudi Arabia's implementation of the death penalty has skyrocketed this year, and rights groups are worried about the surge of capital punishment under King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. The nation killed its 88th prisoner on Tuesday, which puts it on pace to nearly double last year's total number of executions by the end of 2015, according to a tally by Agence France Presse. * The 2015 total is high for Saudi Arabia, which along with China, Iran, Iraq and the United States ranks among the countries with the most executions each year. Amnesty International estimates the Saudi government executed at least 90 people last year, while Agence France Presse counts 87 killed. The 2014 totals were also up from the preceding year, which recorded over 79 executions, according to Amnesty. * Most of the executions this year have been carried out under King Salman, who ascended to the throne after the death of former King Abdullah in late January." -- Forget the bus tickets! One way flights directly to Saudi Arabia for such criminals!
---
You know, I firmly believe that any politician...any media reporter/columnist that feels "more and stronger" gun laws will solve street crimes has no clue on how to stop..even slow down..criminals.
---
So Cleveland has settled with the DOJ because of excessive use of force by the police..hmmm, has the DOJ ever settled with the Crips about their excessive use of force?
---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Elizabeth Warren Is 'Mad As Hell,' And Wants You To Be Too" -- Hmm.. I don't know about "mad" as hell, but I would buy into "insane"..
---
From above HuffPOOPOO story: "A conference attendee asked Sen. Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, a fairly straightforward question: Why isn't the government, with interest rates so low and the country so obviously in need of infrastructure and other investments, doing the common-sense thing, which would be to borrow money at those low rates and invest? * Warren responded, "We are not doing it because the people in Washington -- too many of the people in Washington -- do not represent the folks who elected them. They represent the rich and the powerful, who don't want their taxes raised," Warren said. "The only way we get change is when enough people in this country say, 'I'm mad as hell, and I'm fed up, and I'm not going to do this anymore.: -- Good grief.. how do people like Warren get elected??? Who is going to loan money to a government that prints its own and deflates the payback value of the dollars loaned?
---
You know.. Elizabeth Warren has a jaded view on minimum wages to boot.. she teaches one class at Harvard (she got based on her claim to be of Native American heritage), and draws a purported salary between $430K.
---
Senator Warren also has a liberals view on charity.. - between 2008 and 2011, her personal generosity. -yeah - on joint earnings averaging about $850,000.00 averaged about .028 percent.. When she says "charity begins at home.. she means..OUR homes!
---
Online story: "Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul is blaming his own party for the rise of the Islamic State group. * The freshman senator from Kentucky, who supports a smaller U.S. footprint in the world, says the GOP's foreign policy hawks, in his words, "created these people." * Paul told MSNBC on Wednesday that "ISIS exists and grew stronger" because Republican hawks supported giving out arms in the region "indiscriminately" and many of those weapons fell into the hands of the extremists." -- Obviously Paul thinks he's an oak, but he's really only a product of an oak.. a nut. It's Obamageddon policy that started with not keeping American "monitor" soldiers on the ground, and Obamageddon's policies of arming..re-arming... and further re-arming of the Iraqi soldiers which have fled battle scene after battle scene abandoning the weapons/vehicles we supplied. The GOP "oak" needs to be shaken soon and get the "nuts" out of it..
---
HuffPOOPOO story: " A U.S. senator visiting Cuba said bipartisan support was gaining in Congress to lift a ban on travel to Cuba and possibly also to end the long economic embargo against the Communist-led island. * A four-person Democratic delegation, including Senator Tom Udall, Senator Al Franken of Minnesota, and Representatives Raul Grijalva of Arizona and John Larson of Connecticut, came to Cuba while Washington and Havana work toward restoring diplomatic relations. Negotiators for both sides met in Washington last week, saying progress had been made toward the reopening of embassies after 54 years." -- Damn liberals.. wanna bet whether any of the four started with a demand that cop-killer Assata Sh(_*_)kur being extradited to the US is the first demand that needs to be met?
---
Online headline: "IRS believes hackers were Russians, sources say" -- Hmmm.. Russians? Well, only because IRS "lost" all the e-mails that show they could blame Bush...what a pathetic excuse.. IRS was hacked because of IRS incompetence!
---
Online story: "The Clintons, already under scrutiny for accepting foreign donations to their family foundation and keeping them secret from the Obama administration while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state, have received money from another controversial source: the Federacion Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). * Soccer’s governing body, which donated between $50,001 and $100,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative and partnered with the former president’s foundation on other projects, is entangled in an international corruption investigation spearheaded by the U.S. Department of Justice, which spans countries from Qatar and Russia to Switzerland and the United States. * Bill Clinton served as the honorary chairman for the U.S. bid committee, which promoted America as the best place to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cup events. * In 2014, the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, set up by the Qatar government to ensure a successful FIFA world cup, awarded the Clinton Foundation between $250,000 and $500,000; the State of Qatar donated between $1 million and $5 million. * The money, according to the Clinton Foundation website, is for “research and development for sustainable infrastructure at the 2022 FIFA World Cup to improve food security in Qatar, the Middle East, and other arid and water-stressed regions throughout the world.” -- Can you imagine Hillewinsky ever being a "soccer mom".. how about a "cookie baking mom"? We know the answer to that..
---
Oh, Hillewinsky is back in South Carolina..after nearly 8 years since she left there with her tail tucked between her legs..... isn't that special....word to the wise.. don't buy anything she's selling.. especially the "cookies"

Online story: "A man was arrested on suspicion of starting a massive fire late last year that destroyed an unfinished apartment building and damaged adjacent office towers in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Wednesday. * Dawud Abdulwali, 56, of Los Angeles, was arrested Tuesday morning on a traffic warrant and only later booked on suspicion of aggravated arson. * The arrest culminated a six-month investigation involving the Los Angeles Fire Department, the LAPD, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. * He was being held on more than $1 million bail. Authorities noted his name may be an alias." -- "authorities noted his name may be an alias"? After 6 months of investigation? Excuse me.. but how can bail be set when the "alleged" perpetrator's true identity is not known after 6 months of investigation?
---
Online story: "As if the cheating scandal and inequality among schools weren't enough. Since the late 1970s, Atlanta Public Schools has failed to set aside enough cash in its pension fund for thousands of current and retired employees. That unfunded liability has now swelled to more than $530 million." -- You have to wonder whether it was internal use of "New Math" or "Common Core Math" that was used to calculate the pension funds...Hmmm.. bet if the APS withdrew pension participation from those caught cheating, the pension would be balanced again..but that ain't gonna happen..
---
From above story: "Voters on Nov. 3 could decide whether the school district should sell up to $400 million in pension obligation bonds. If residents support the measure, APS plans to take on the debt in two $200 million chunks. The first $200 million would allow school officials to pay down the liability from a woeful 17 percent level to 50 percent level of funding. The second half of the bonds would be sold at a later date and invested in the stock market. " -- Whoa! At least the voters have a chance to reject this bond issue as it will correspond with the General Election date, but how come liberals want to invest in Wall Street issues, but not let Social Security do the same? Hypocrites!
---
From the above story, also: "If the plan works, APS could improve its finances, help more kids graduate, and improve the caliber of teachers in classrooms." -- And the alternative results will be "status quo"?
---
Soapbox Moment: The reasoning above.. if you can associate school board logic and reasonable.. is what we have in the MCSD.. This past SPLOST.. it should have passed with a higher turnout than General Elections if the voters really were behind the school board.. with 32,000 students, and 6,000 current employees, there were upwards of 65,000 parents, teachers/spouse, plus retiree employees who should have given overwhelming support if they thought the MCSD was doing a great job.. less than 9000 bother to support the MCSD effort.. even a November election date wouldn't have drawn many more support voters, which is why the MCSD chose an alternate date. We need solid contact with our representatives to get all SPLOST/LOST and local elections back on the General Election date in November.
---
Online story: "Tuesday night, the Muscogee County School Board gathered in a called meeting to hear the administration explain the options. Superintendent David Lewis plans to make his recommendation for the local governance option during the board's June 8 work session, then the board would vote on the choice during its June 15 meeting." -- Hmm.. June 15th.. that's going to be a rip-roaring session.. hope the MCSB brings sleeping and snack bags to work.. Not only is this being decided, but the tax increase Lewis want on property taxes is also on the agenda..
---
L-E story: "A boating company out of Dadeville, Ala., home of popular Lake Martin, has purchased property on the Georgia side of Lake Harding and plans to open a new marina before the end of June, complete with a restaurant, convenience store, docks and fuel pumps. * Singleton Marine Group also will refurbish an existing boat lot just off Georgia route 219 — also known as River Road — to sell new and used watercraft and accessories" -- Interesting... please note the HARRIS COUNTY address.. smart choice .. lower sales and property taxes... yes.. developing the whitewater industry is paying off... NOT!
---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": "When the cops were coming, I destroyed 10 kilos of heroin and meth plus 5,000 tabs of Ecstacy. But I surrendered 7 joints, so I’ve been completely cooperative, just like Hillary with her emails." -- What else can I say.... or add?
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Headline: “Driver ‘flips bird’ then shoots at family.” Just another citizen exercising his Second Amendment rights in the wonderful state of Georgia." -- Oh.. let's not forget the 1st Amendment rights either.. of the "flipper" or this writer...
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid liberal's L-E "soundoff": " I am so tired of the whining babies complaining about once-a-week trash pickup. If the lazy wimps would put everything that’s recyclable in the big blue bin, then they would only need once-a-week pickup." -- I wish the L-E would print once-a-week advocates's e-mail addresses.. bet most have a ".columbusga.com" trail to the mayor's office. Even IF we went to once-a-week garbage pick-up, the savings per household are only claimed to be $8.00 annually.. and that amount would be quickly ingested into the operating costs, so, in effect.. we would be giving up a pick-up date and no tax savings.. only in the "mind of minutia" is that "good". Even "Common Core Math" backs this up.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage.” — Maya Angelou (1928-2014)." -- Bet this was not quoted at Clinton's inauguration nor even suggested to be on the walls of the Oval Office with Obamageddon...
---
L-E's "Late laughs": "HILLARY CLINTON’S Super PAC has reportedly been struggling to raise money. It’s gotten so bad, they may have to start reaching out to Americans. - Seth Meyers" -- Don't you love it when liberals turn on each other.. don't you get depressed that it won't affect how liberals vote anyway?
---
L-E headline: "Legal dispute over MLK Bible, Nobel prize headed for court-ordered mediation" -- Well, so much for the "apples" falling close to the tree.. seems there's an awful lot of Christianity and Peace missing from this equation.

L-E e-edition headline/story: "(sic)Uptown Concet Seies concludes wit depArture Friday night (Translation: Uptown Concert Series concludes with Departure Friday night) * What is allowed and what is prohibited? Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverage is allowed but no glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages." -- Hmm so the sanctity of a family event is sacrificed for the benefit of the area pubs and bars...but restaurants be damned!

Now Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, says "they" were surprised with the rise of ISIS. Well, what else can we expect when a narcistic megalomaniac like Obamageddon appoints sycophants to decision making entities?

Yesterday. I commented on a subsidy that was in Mayor TomLYINGson's budget proposal for New Horizons in the amount of $145.000.00. This morning, I looked into "New Horizons". I want to know why the City has been spending tax dollars on what New Horizons calls a "public nonprofit organization of community-based behavioral health care,". New Horizons primarily serves eight counties in Western Georgia with an aggregate population of over 325,000. With more than 7,000 consumers, and 500 employees providing services in 100 locations, the impact of New Horizons’ as a provider is wide spread and significant among those in need and the communities in which it serves. Here is a link to a "who's who" of local supporters: http://www.newhorizonscsb.org/content/supporters/ (looks like last up-date was in 2010, but with this list, New Horizons doesn't need City tax dollars, and especially with the legal eagles involved.

Online headline: "Hackers breach IRS site, stealing tax info from 100K * Identity thieves broke into a portion of the IRS' website to secure years of past tax return information, the agency said Tuesday." -- Hmm.. IRS deletes Lois Lerner's e-mails, but doesn't delete old tax forms...how does that serve US?
---
Online story: "Gov. Pete Ricketts vetoed a bill Tuesday that would make Nebraska the first traditionally conservative state in more than four decades to abolish the death penalty, sending it back to lawmakers who will attempt an override. * Nebraska lawmakers passed the bill last week with a veto-proof, 32-15 majority. " -- Good grief.. why would any civilized state vote to eliminate the death penalty? Can they not conceive of a heinous crime that needs the certainty of death as a response? If theses elected officials are so intent on eliminating the death penalty, why don't they just pass a bill making it a crime to commit a crime that would invoke the old death penalty requirements.. it would be more effective...damn liberals!
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Dear Commander-in-Chief: A Route to an ISIS Rout" -- Good grief.. even the HuffPOOPOO has a plan for ISIS, and is upset that Obamageddon doesn't.. Guess the HuffPOOPOO just lost its "favored IRS" status..

It's bad enough that Iraqi troops "drove out" (versus being "driven out"), and left ISIS all the weaponry the USA had given them, but now Iraqi soldiers are going back in with more USA military weapons.. Do the Iraqi troops have a contract to supply ISIS with our equipment?

How can Obamageddon claim that this past Memorial Day was the first in 14 years that we weren't involved in a ground war? We still have troops in combat areas, but more importantly, the only reason we aren't fully engaged is that Obamageddon ignored the "red lines" he drew in the sand when Syria's ASSwad kicked the sand back in his face?

Online story: " Chattanooga is looking into the possibility of building light commuter rail throughout the city, Mayor Andy Berke said. * But a long-running plan to connect the Tennessee city to Atlanta with a bullet train is likely stopped in its tracks, he said. Berke told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that he doubts there is money or political will to build a high-speed rail along Interstate 75. * "Any kind of intercity rail doesn't happen without large-scale federal investment," Berke said. "It's pretty clear that the federal government is not in a position right now to do large-scale infrastructure investments." -- Hmmm.. are you listening Mayor TomLYINGson? How about pulling the brakes on this money pit and stop the waste at the known $350,000.00 "study" you "bought" just to support your fantasy...

L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * School board hears options for governance * The choices are:
• Investing in Educational Excellence (also called IE2 and Strategic Waivers). An IE2 district has a performance contract with the Georgia Board of Education granting the district freedom from specific provisions of state education law, state board rules and state education department guidelines in exchanged for increased accountability.
• Charter System. A Charter System applies for a charter from the state board and is granted freedom from almost all of the above in exchange for increased academic accountability and approved innovations.
• Status Quo (also called No Waivers). Status Quo districts have chosen to not request increased flexibility so they don’t have increased accountability and instead remain under all state laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Good grief.. it's a no-brainer.. The MCSB/MCSD is not going to vote for more accountability so the only choice is the "Status Quo"!

Richard Hyatt column: "Jeannine Galloway has been dead 38 years and the man who killed her sits in a jail cell in Trion, Ga., hoping to be set free. * William Anthony Brooks is serving a life sentence for Galloway's murder and he will be reconsidered for parole in June. His plea for a parole in 2011 was rejected and officials said they would reconsider that decision in four years." -- Though death and dementia have ended the Galloways' torture on Earth, I will never forget the perverted association of Steve Beverly evaluation of scar tissue on Brooks possibly being the initials of Jeannine Galloway . Let Brooks rot in jail! And Beverly can rot, too, wherever he is!
---
From the above story: "Bill Smith prosecuted scores of cases and retired as a Superior Court judge. He says it is one of the worst cases that occurred during his time in the district attorney's office. * He has written a letter to the state along with former colleagues Mullins Whisnant and Doug Pullen. * "I promised Mrs. Galloway that as long as I lived, I would work to keep him behind bars," Smith says. * If you want to help him, write the State Board of Pardons and Parole, 2 MLK Jr. Drive, Atlanta, GA 30334. Reference Prisoner No. EF-137251." -- If you are from Columbus.. take time to support Bill Smith's promise to the Galloways in their absence ...

Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The Benghazi witch hunt chapter 8 could last until the November elections. It’s the GOP’s final attempt to discredit the Obama administration and sabotage Hillary 2016." -- "GOP's final attempt to discredit"? Obamageddon and Hillewinsky have done a pretty good job of discrediting themselves without any help from the GOP..
---
You know.. thinking about that elderly woman who's property in Sears Wood that made headlines over the weekend.. her daughter is reportedly "taking care " of her.. has anyone from the state or local services checked on the inside of that house? The stories mentioned the older woman's pension as a source of income, but is she capable of administering it, or is it being misused? These are the questions that need investigating...

L-E headline: "City’s $2.5M B.T. Washington contribution to come from grants" -- Good grief.. I do think the L-E feels "grants" are like manna from heaven.. that $2.5 million "grant" probably is all that's left from $5 million sent to Washington in taxes from the people after being carved up by politicians.
---
L-E headline: "Cleveland, U.S. Justice Dept. announce police settlement" -- Good grief.. the public would be much better off if the DOJ SUPPORTED the local police so that rioters/looters and other street thugs understand they have no sympathy for what they choose to engage in...

Though it's not that hard to do, Mayor TomLYINGson's been caught again..just got back from Fernandina Beach, Fl, and not only do they have twice a week garbage pick up, but recycling, too..not only that, they picked up on Memorial Day holiday Monday!

From the "whoa... let's look at this again" department - Online story: "JACKSON, Miss. – U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran — the Mississippi Republican whose 2014 primary campaign drew national attention over an aspiring blogger's photos of his bedridden wife — has married his longtime aide, his office said Monday. * Webber has worked for Cochran since 1981, and both are 77, spokesman Chris Gallegos said. Webber makes $165,000 a year working for the senator." -- While I'm sure his new bride has been a fine worker, how does she make $165.000.00 while the Senator makes $174,000.00? Oh.. and why wasn't she "retired" at 65?

Online headline: "Chicago Bears drop McDonald after arrest in Calif. * The defensive end was arrested on assault charges Monday following a domestic violence arrest in Northern California that police say stemmed from an assault on a woman who was holding a baby, and was released by the NFL team hours later." -- Rumors have it that the Oakland Raiders and the Cleveland area Crips have already sent him a contract.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Looming Supreme Court ruling may spark 'ugly' chaos * A Supreme Court ruling due soon could wipe out health insurance for millions of people covered by President Obama's health care law." -- Huh? I do believe its a case of the way Democrats wrote the law, but didn't read it before they passed it.. and not one Republican was involved.

Online story: "China said it had lodged a complaint with the United States over a U.S. spy plane that flew over parts of the disputed South China Sea in a diplomatic row that has fueled tension between the world's two largest economies." -- "fueled tension" between the world's "two largest economies"? Good grief... give me Khrushchev and his shoe banging on the rostrum at the UN instead of this politically correct nanny-nanny-poo-poo stuff!

Online headline: "Japan makes major move amid friction with China * Japan will join a U.S.-Australia military exercise involving more than 30,000 troops as tensions grow over China's actions in the South China Sea." -- Good grief.. Japan made the headlines while the US was an "also"

---
Online story: "A decade ago, longtime friends and avid military supporters Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise hosted the National Memorial Day Concert for the first time. * And their 10th anniversary on the show Sunday night was just as special as the first." -- Any doubt as to why K(_*_)nye West wasn't invited?

You know...I think the Republican candidates have no clue to beating Hillewinsky. They are not going to sway any Democrats to vote for them by sounding like her. They need to focus on sounding like conservatives so non-liberals and independents will show up at the ballot box excited for a change.
---
Online headline: "Lesbian Rabbi Stands Up FOR Sharia Law" -- Good grief.. who'd want their male children circumcised by a lesbian to begin with.. but isn't a lesbian standing up for Sharia law a pretty much definitive Oxymoron? How's she going to prove her loyalty.. stone herself to death?

L-E headline/story: "UNITED WAY TO THE CHATTAHOOCHEE VALLEY * United Way selects 55 programs for funding * $5.1 million will be allocated through agencies * In February, United Way announced that it had surpassed its $7 million goal, setting a record for the most ever raised." -- $1.9 million raised bur not available for distribution puts the salaries and costs at 27%.... wonder if the campaign reveals it's based on a "3 for them , 1 for us" basis?

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Ireland is going to be the first country to legalize gay marriages. Thank you, good Catholics." -- Oooops.. a little too much misinfo being spread here.. Ireland voted to legalized civil ceremonies, but no church is required to have such services...Now, when an Islamist country even allows civil ceremonies.. that will be news..
---
L-E's "Thought for Today: “Courage is being scared to death — and saddling up anyway.” — John Wayne,

---
L-E headline: "Biden reassures Iraq of U.S. support" -- Where'd Biden hear that from ... Obamageddon himself or Josh Earnest.. guess Biden didn't get the "JK" memo ... Anyway. I'm sure Iraq is just as reassured as if Obamageddon said the same thing..

L-E story on City budget discussions:
1 - " Huff proposed adding $45,000 to the clerk of municipal court’s budget, which is half the $90,000 increase requested. Huff proposed no corresponding cuts for that addition." -- Should Huff recuse himself dealing with family issues?
2 - " Councilor Mimi Wood-son added $225,000 for 28 lawnmowers for the parks and recreation department but offered no corresponding cuts on the delete side." -- Is $8.000.00+ each the best we can do for buying 28 mowers?
3 - "Thomas also proposed deleting the $45,000 subsidy for Uptown Columbus, $48,000 subsidy for the Department of Family and Children Services and the $145,000 subsidy for New Horizons." -- While I'm not truly against "studies" for .. why are we subsidizing "New Horizons" at all?
4 - Woodson also added about $95,000 for expenses expected to be incurred by the elections and registration office but no corresponding cuts." -- How about making the Democrats and Republicans paying for their primaries?
One other thing.. recently, Gov Deal was praising the April increases in tax revenues.. is Columbus simply missing out by the way Mayor TomLYINGson has dampened the economy in Columbus?
---
From the above story: "In the past, council has been able to vote to restore budget cuts or add capital requests from the city's reserves. In the fiscal 2012 budget, they used more than $13 million in reserves.* That dropped to about $7 million in fiscal 2013 and a little less in fiscal 2014 and down to just over $4 million in the current fiscal year. * But that has depleted the city's reserves to the point that it can't be responsibly tapped any further, city officials say." -- You know.. the purpose of a "rainy day" fund is to have it there when a 'rainy day" comes... spending it on whimsical Mayoral pet projects is not responsible.

Silent reflection for all who have passed during or following their commitment to defend the freedoms we all share as penned by our founding fathers.. to my family, serving us now and in the past..salute!

With what's going on in Cleveland, I guess that if the Cavs win the NBA, the world won't know whether the street riots are angry or celebratory, and whether the looting is normal or out-n-out theft.

From the "you really need to.. have to, think about this" department - Passed on by a fellow BCer: The federal government which has "Tomahawk" cruise missiles plus "Apache", "Blackhawk", "Kiowa" and "Lakota" helicopters, and used the code name "Geronimo" in the attack that killed Osama bin Laden, officially objects to the name of the "Washington Redskins".......

L-E headline: "SCHOOL FUNDING QUESTION IS TOP TASK FOR GOV. DEAL'S EDUCATION PANEL" -- I have one very important.. very pertinent question to ask before any further questions or discussions begin: How is funding determined to be a cut from the prebvious year by our universities and colleges? One of the biggest extra fees charged per semester is the "university fee".. an undedicated use "fee" that, by law, cannot happen except when funding is cut from the previous year. According to my children's tuition bill for the past 6 years, the state has cut college funding every year, but none of my representatives habe gotten back with me to verify this,

Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": Imagine having 12 years of experience on your job and suddenly someone decides that you need to pass a test in order to keep your job. How would you feel if you failed that test?" -- Hmm.. my bet is that no business would have survived for 12 years if the employees could not pass a competency test.. is this "soundoffer" implying that the education system has been too successful to test?

Instant repeat - Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": Imagine having 12 years of experience on your job and suddenly someone decides that you need to pass a test in order to keep your job. How would you feel if you failed that test?" -- Imagine having 12 years of instruction and not being able to do a job...

From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1895, playwright Oscar Wilde was convicted of a morals charge in London; he was sentenced to two years in prison." -- Hmmm.. times they have changed.. we cannot even convict late term abortion murderer because liberals in Congress and the Court System have determined it's immoral to be moral.....
---
I guess on March 17th next year, Ireland can start saving money on parade cleanups as it combines Gay Pride and St Patrick's Day... you know.. American media is making more about this than the rest of the world.. what has been "legalized is civil ceremonies and no churches, especially the Catholic churches, are
requires to perform such services. I have no problem with legal partnerships.

I am sick and tired on Republican candidates taking the "I was 'fer it before I was agin it' " Democratic Party philosophy. What would the liberals be saying today if Bush had tucked his tail and apologized for America on September 12, 2001? Bush made the best decision based on the best available information.. it was a good decision, and I am not happy with any of the johnny-come-lately naysayers.

Online story: "Veterans of the Iraq War have been watching in frustration as Republican presidential contenders distance themselves from the decision their party enthusiastically supported to invade that country. * Some veterans say they long ago concluded their sacrifice was in vain, and are annoyed that a party that lobbied so hard for the war is now running from it * Jeb Bush said that in light of what's now known — that Saddam Hussein did not have WMD stockpiles — he would not have invaded." -- Good hgrief.. I thought the Democrat mantra of "being for it before being against it" was the main impetus for Republicans regaining control of both Chambers of Congress.. now it sounds like Republicans are stripping the honor and memories of sacrifice from our vets, too, and their families. As I recall. some 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium was recovered and sold/sent to Canada, and open threats about WMDs were enough, in my book, to eliminate Saddam Hussein!

Comment on above: Hey Republicans.. it's one thing to say "woulda-coulda-shoulda" today versus sitting on you rear ends then and there not being a today. Stand tall and remind the rest of the world that America will defend itself and its allies when some despot rattles his saber..rebuild the respect and pride of AMERICA!

Online story: " Former Vermont Governor and DNC Chairman Howard Dean said, "It is true the media really wants to see everything, and they have this fundamental belief they should see everything, and I think Hillary's decided they probably shouldn't. I think that's her prerogative." -- First, anytime a Democrat starts using "think" instead of "feel", then what follows is the current Democratic Party "talking point". Secondly, when a Democrat starts using the word "think", it is only to bait conservative media into a winless frenzy of debate of "what did Hillewinsky know and when did she know it". The main thing here is that Dean has thrown out a "red flag" to divert conservative media from what's really important.. Hillewinsky has destroyed the important stuff, and when she finally syas, "well, here it is.. I'm in compliance.." there won't being anything there.

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Lawyers, representing the injured people in the peanut butter salmonella case in Sylvester, caused the federal investigation of that processing plant and exposed a cover-up. Lawyers can help you when you need them." -- Hmmm.. there's just one itsy-bitsy, teensy-weensy detail left out.. the money initiative.. doing something because "it's the right thing to do" is noble... waiting until enough people have suffered so a class-action, big dollar, lawsuit can be filed is "lawyering as usual".
---
There was a picture or two of the Harris County High School graduation exercise conducted in the Lumpkin Center at CSU.. it's somewhat perplexing that the HCSD would would pay for use of a facility in another county. Maybe it's because the lower taxes in HC have generated more growth in taxable property so the HCSD has plenty of money to use in Muscogee County.

From the "what's wrong with this" department - From an L-E profile story about a local person: " Family: Girlfriend, T****** T*LBERT and four children — C*****, 20, C*****, 15, R***** Jr., 14, and M******, 9" -- A 38 year old man who seemingly has 4 children with his girlfriend and hasn't ever married.. I could be wrong, but it might.. probably is about some entitlement situation favoring non-married head of household...
---
From op-ed commentary in the L-E: "Some have said that this is “all about politics;” that the mayor is trying to get even with the sheriff and the marshal for supporting her opponent in the last election. I have no clue as to whether that is true or not, and in fact, as Hillary Clinton famously said, “What difference does it make?” If someone is trying to do the right thing, as the mayor is here, so what? What counts is what’s best for the public. * If you think what I have shared with you makes sense, and the mayor is doing the right thing, please contact your member on Council and ask him or her to support the mayor on this." -- Good grief.. If the only argument for Mayor TomLYINGson is comparing her with Hillewinsky, then there is no argument FOR her.. well, the Mayor and Hillewinsky do share one thing in common... their versions of what the truth "is".
---
L-E editorial: "Editorial * Think you know who really makes laws in Georgia? * WXIA-TV reported last week on a group of Georgia legislators who met with special-interest lobbyists in a Savannah hotel where, the station reported, “they gathered in private rooms to decide what new laws would best serve the corporations.”
* The host organization, probably to nobody’s surprise, was the American Legislative Exchange Council, better known as ALEC. * ALEC, by the way, is a 501(c)(3) “educational charity.” Contributions are tax deductible." -- Aside from the legal restrictions of a 501(c)3 organization being politically active, and legislators should know this, it's just plainly an act of stupidity... On the other hand.. it also reminds me of the uber-liberal MoveON.org et al having the same 501(c)3 or 4 status .. including president Obamageddon's
"Organizing For America/Organizing For Action.com" organization.
---
From the "?" department.. There's an ad in the Columbus L-E for an upcoming fundraiser that consists of a morning SKEET shoot, and an afternoon of golf. heh heh heh It's a fundraiser for the HC Humane Society.. you know, what would be real interesting is to put shooters around the par 3 holes, and let them shoot down incoming golf balls.

Online story: "Louisiana state Sen. Karen Peterson (D) slammed Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) for issuing an executive order "to accomplish the intent" of a religious freedom bill that died in the Louisiana House." --m Good grief.. why aren't Republicans slamming Democrats for not only being anti-Christian, but anti-Muslim, anti-atheist, and anti-Wiccan as well?

Atlanta and Augusta,GA made the list of the Top 150 ... Columbus, GA didn't..BUT. Columbus did make 1 list.. Columbus was ranked 148 of 150 for the "Lowest Employment Growth Rate.

From the above article.. From the "100 Lowest Number of Job Opportunities (in order) the bottom 4 are Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and NewYork... what's even scarier than the names of Democratic Party politicians names we know is that those 4 states control 44% of the Electoral College votes needed to elect every president!. Has anyone got the percent of entitlement program funding theses 4 cities/states endow themselves with?
---
Online story: "The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing at a Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia, warning that more "black days" loom ahead in a direct challenge to the rulers of the Sunni kingdom." -- Hmmm.. so not all Muslims are as equal as some Muslims. personally, I cannot tell a bunch of Sunni from a bunch of Shiite.
---
Online story: " Iran has entered the fight to retake a major Iraqi oil refinery from Islamic State militants, contributing small numbers of troops —some are operating artillery and other heavy weapons — in support of advancing Iraqi ground forces, U.S. defense officials say. * U.S. officials have said they do not oppose contributions from Iran-supported Iraqi Shiite militias as long as they operate under the command and control of the Iraqi government." -- What spin the Obamageddon crew is spewing.. I guarantee Iraq did not ask Iran for help, so at minimum, this is an aggressor move, and should bring all talks about allowing Iran to further develop nuclear weapons. I guess Obamageddon may be forced to replace Kerry and destroy his James Taylor song collection to show he's upset.

With the revelations about how Hillewinsky handled her e-mails, I'm real glad she wasn't answering the White House phones at 3:00 AM.

It's almost Summer..Shouldn't the buses be in maintenance to clean & repair for next year, and drivers taking time off?

You know..have you noticed the Washington DC police have acted quicker and with more resolve in tracking down the murderer of 4 civilians than they did in investigating the"suicide" of Clinton aide, Vince Foster?

It's mind boggling to think about how much corporate and foreign governments will pay to hear the Clintons, especially Hillewinsky, speak. but imagine how much they'd pay if the Clintons actually had anything to say worth hearing.

You know...after seeing Gore and Kerry in action for the past 15 & 11 years following their defeats to Bush43, you'd think that even liberals would be glad Bush43 won.
---
A State Department Deputy Spokesperson was talking about the release of Hillewinsky's Benghazi emails shows two things for sure..... how obviously bloated the State Department budget is for having a Deputy Spokesperson, and money was obviously not an issue in beefing up security per Chris Stevens' pleas.
---
Saw a news story about an 11 year old being graduated from college. Hmmm..who's going to hire an 11 year old..I doubt he would even be a good choice as a children's toy evaluater since he obviously didn't have a childhood.

L-E headline: "NORTH EUFAULA AVENUE WIDENING * TOUCHY ROAD PROJECT WINS OVER RESIDENTS * Mayor says holiday weekend traffic will be a big test" -- Typical politicians response.. current local politicians will be out of office in a few years so this is a "no brainer", but the tree damage to the "drip line" will eventually kill those beautiful trees.
---
L-E story: " To lessen the long lines, the Muscogee County School District is allowing parents and guardians to register their children without visiting the central office or their assigned school. * The K-12 Online Registration tool enables parents and guardians to upload the required documents and complete registration on a computer wherever they choose" -- It's nice to see modern technology actually being used by the MCSD.. but there are caveats.. online registration leads to more chances of falsification of resident documentation, and we won't see any "benefits".. like personnel reductions of the number of people hired to handle in person registrations.

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Interesting sign of climate change: we now have Indo-Pacific geckos in Columbus, previously not found north of Florida. They are cute, but invasive." -- Hmmm "climate change"? How about transported by semi's and vacationer vehicles....
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I am now convinced beyond reasonable doubt that our Police Department, Fire Department and DA Office are pathetic." -- I wish Mayor TomLYINGson would keep her staff and friends from sending in "soundoffs", but nothing changes the fact that the Mayor is the chief Public Safety officer, and is responsible for all the gaffs involved.

L-E's "Thought for Today": “Life is like a game of poker: If you don’t put any in the pot, there won’t be any to take out.” — Jackie “Moms” Mabley (1894-1975)." -- Hmmm.. guess this pretty much fillets the liberals game plan of success using other people's money.

Soapbox Moment: I'm beginning to believe that a local DA office should have to recuse itself from prosecuting any local law enforcement officer involved in the death of any previously plea bargained-out convict. The (_*_) arrested in the quadruple murder in Washington DC was convicted of an assault of his girlfriend in 2009, was back on the street to be convicted in 2010 of property damages and death threats to another woman and a child, additionally in 2010 he was arrested on a weapons charge but "plead-out to possessing and open container of alcohol. Police officers should not be blamed in the deaths of convicts engaged in additional crimes when the convicts would not even be on the street because the DA's Office/sentencing judge have put convicts back on the street because a plea-bargain to a lesser crime.

Online headline/story: "Protests break out after men shot for shoplifting beer * Hundreds marched peacefully in Washington state's capital city to protest a police shooting that wounded two unarmed stepbrothers suspected of trying to steal beer from a grocery store. * The officer reported he was being assaulted with a skateboard early Thursday before the shooting that left a 21-year-old man in critical condition and a 24-year-old man in stable condition. * Both were expected to survive. * The stepbrothers are black, and the officer is white, but Olympia Police Chief Ronnie Roberts said, "There's no indication to me that race was a factor in this case at all." * "It was terrible," the young men's mother, Crystal Chaplin, told KIRO-TV. "It's heartbreaking to see two of my babies in the hospital over something stupid." -- "mom", it is "stupid" , but.... BUT why didn't you teach them it's ILLEGAL and a CRIME to steal! Maybe if you had married, and your children had one father around to be a role model for them... good grief.. what has happened to family values!

Online headline: "Ireland votes on legalizing gay marriage; verdict Saturday" -- Hmmm, rumor has it St Patrick just gave up drinking and has revoked his endorsement of March 17th.

Online headline: "Boy Scouts president says ban on gay leaders needs to end" -- No it doesn't.. what the BSA needs is a new president.

If the Boy Scouts executive committee is taking away Scouts being able to use water guns and balloons, is the committee going to retroactively recall the "Rifle Shooting" merit badges? Hmm. and what possibly could be in store for the future of the "Shotgun Shooting" and "Nuclear Science" merit badges.

Online story: "People joke that the iconic yellow Hostess snack cakes will outlast humanity, but we wanted to test that hypothesis with the Millennium Time Capsule. The Clinton administration spearheaded this collection of objects sealed in an American flag-shaped box that included a copy of the Bill of Rights, a piece of the Berlin Wall and a pair of sunglasses belonging to Ray Charles. The only edible item in the collection was a sealed package of Hostess Twinkies, but they were actually removed before the box was sealed for fear that mice would be attracted by their smell and damage the other contents. Give mice a little credit, they have better taste than that." -- Good grief.. the Clintons will lie about anything, but to take Twinkies out of the time capsule.. wanna bet who ate them?
---
Online headline: "The Clinton Foundation acknowledged Thursday that it had received millions ($26+ MILLION) of dollars in payments that had not previously been disclosed under a 2008 ethics agreement with the Obama administration. * The Washington Post, citing foundation officials, reported that the payments were categorized internally as "revenue" instead of donations, which exempted the organization from including them in its public list of contributions." -- Good grief.. any accountant knows "revenues" are those funds are either created by an investment or product sales. Any confusion about this would be an obvious..intentional ploy to avoid reporting the donators. There are no other reasons/excuses Hillewinsky can claim.. the woman wants to be president! Maybe governments need to stop referring to taxes collected as "revenues" and list them as "confiscatory income" instead.

Online headline/story: "Georgia Negotiates Over Developmental Disability Transfers * Georgia is in negotiations with the federal government over a 2010 settlement reached with the U.S. Justice Department. By June 30, the state was supposed to move all people with developmental disabilities out of state-run hospitals and into community settings. But the state is not going to meet to that deadline." -- Good grief.. why is the DOJ wanting to put people out on the streets of our communities who are not capable of fending for themselves.. Why.. to enhance the number son entitlement programs and get them registered to vote for Democrats!
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff:: " It’s absolutely appalling to read an idiot statement concerning felons given a chance to work in the city government. ---
L-E headline/story: "Six officers indicted in death of Freddie Gray * Gray suffered a critical spinal injury after police handcuffed, shackled and placed him head-first into a van" -- Good grief.. there's even video of the officers carefully "placing" him in the van so damages were self-inflicted as witnessed by another incarcerated person in the van.. whether policies were carried out to the "t" is one thing, but persecuting 6 officers is just wrong.
---
From the "let me get this straight" department - L-E story: " Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton received monthly missives about the growing unrest in Libya from a longtime friend who was previously barred by the White House from working for her as a government employee, according to emails received on her personal account. * Clinton’s earlier efforts to hire Blumenthal, who has spent nearly two decades working for the Clinton family, as a State Department employee had been rejected by Obama administration officials who said they feared his role spreading harsh attacks against Obama in the 2008 presidential primaries would cause discomfort among members of their new White House team." -- Huh? "Obama administration officials who said they feared (Blumenthal's) role spreading harsh attacks against Obama in the 2008 presidential primaries would cause discomfort among members of their new White House team." Good grief.. Obama shot down the messenger but appointed the message originator as his Secretary of State......

L-E story: "Woman buys gun at pawn shop, then kills self" -- You know.. items in the story say that the woman ordered the gun, and when she came to pick it up, she asked if the pawn shop employees would load it for her, then died from a shot to her chest. How does this relate to a statement that she committed suicide? They way I read this is that she would have taken any gun in stock if she wanted to kill herself, not order one, and if she didn't know how to load it. chances are she probably unintentionally fired it while loading it. It's not like a chest shot is always fatal.
---
L-E story: "As first lady in the final year of the Clinton administration, Hillary Rodham Clinton endorsed a White House plan to give tax breaks to private foundations and wealthy charity donors at the same time the William J. Clinton Foundation was soliciting donations for her husband's presidential library, recently released Clinton-era documents show. * The blurred lines between the tax reductions proposed by the Clinton administration in 2000 and the Clinton Library's fundraising were an early foreshadowing of the potential ethics concerns that have flared around the Clintons' courting of corporate and foreign donors for their family charity before she launched her campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination." -- "an early foreshadowing of the personal ethics concerns that have flared around the Clintons"? Good grief.. Hillewinsky's ethics have been challenged since her short lived connection with the Nixon Watergate investigation, and Slick Willie's ethics have been challenged since he lined the bed of his pick-up truck with Astro-Turf...

Have you noticed that ISIS isn't killing people in Iran, and Obamageddon still wants to give Iran nuclear capability. Go figure.... though even in Common Core, the answer is pretty clear.
---
What's it mean when the judge says Hillewinsky's e-mails at the State Department will be "rolled out" rather released at once? To me it means that the mist damaging ones will be released when it causes her the least amount of damage..and probably on Friday afternoons after mainstream media has left for the weekend.

Musing on the cause of the oil slick in California brings up an interesting possibility.. Has anyone seen Senator Feinstein? Perhaps the Wicked Witch of the West took a quick dip and melted...

From the "that's more like it" department - Remember yesterday when I commented about only 100 weapons for 200 bikers in Waco being found? Well, after further investigation, over 1000 weapons have been found on the grounds.. that's more like what we profile bike gangs having.

---
You know.. with all the killing.. between motorcycle rival gangs in Waco, did you notice that other Waco citizens did not riot and loot the town?

---
You know.. if a political battle erupts between Obamageddon and China.. we won't have as much to fear from China as China does from the USA.. We could freely aim missiles anywhere in China, but China would have to worry about destroying too many areas in America that China already owns, and Trillions in US Treasury bonds would go "poof".

Online headline: "Goodell speaks out on Brady's sanctions appeal * The NFL commissioner commented on the players union's request that he recuse himself from the star's hearing concerning his 'Deflategate' penalties. * 'The rules have to be enforced" -- "'The rules have to be enforced"? You know.. rather than "enforce" an ambiguous rule, why not just change it? If the NFL allows each team to "play" with it's own footballs on every play but kicks and punts, then let the teams decide which ball pressure best suits its QB.. it just makes sense... otherwise, make all teams use the same referee controlled footballs for every play. Now, I'm done with "deflategate".
---
Online headline: "Four cancer charities charged for scamming donors out of $187 million" -- Ooops my bad... thought the Clintons had finally been nailed.. Well... they are "cancers".

Online story: "A new video has surfaced revealing a key part of the arrest of Freddie Gray, the Baltimore black man whose death from injuries sustained in police custody sparked riots and led to a federal investigation. * The video, shot by a bystander and posted on the Baltimore Sun's website on Wednesday, shows officers putting Gray in leg shackles and handcuffs before placing him in a police van head first and on his stomach." -- so Freddie Gary was not recklessly tossed into the van in a way he would damage his spinal cord.. this also give credence to the other impounded arrestee about Gray hurling himself up against the van wall to self-inflict bruising and such.
---
Online story: "The NFL is moving back extra-point kicks and allowing defenses to score on conversion turnovers. * The owners on Tuesday approved the competition committee's proposal to snap the ball from the 15-yard line on PATs to make them more challenging." -- Good grief... now the NFL is taking away two aspects that will penalize both teams.. and the FANS! Both teams will have to use the same ball, and this basically rules out potential action.. who's going to "fake" a place kick and catch the other team unsuspecting of a two point play? To boot, even if a team decides to call such a surprise play, then the QB on each team will not have his preferred football to handle..DUMB move, NFL. Now, if the NFL really wanted to put some question into the after-TD place kick, the NFL should restrict the ball placement to be within 5, rather than 7 or 8 yards behind the center.. that or make the kicking team line keep 3 feet between the players so a block rush has more lanes to crash through..

The top five worst cities for mosquitoes has been released.. Atlanta is the worst, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th may surprise you.. Chicago, Washington D.C., and Detroit.. I said "surprise you".. but not me.. I already knew Chicago, Washington, DC and Detroit was full of bloodsuckers.

Online story: "The United States is willing to take in Rohingya refugees as part of international efforts to cope with Southeast Asia's stranded boat people, the State Department said Wednesday. * Last year, the U.S. accepted nearly 70,000 refugees - people with a well-founded fear of persecution - from around the world." -- Hmmm.. and where will they be placed? I suggest Philadelphia.. the City of Brotherly love.. the City that had 59 voting precincts that didn't have one Romney vote in 2012....the City that's hosting the 2016 DNC Presidential Nominating Convention..

Online headline/story: " Feds go after bike gang trademarks in crackdown * The trademarked logo of Southern California's largest motorcycle gang is unmistakable: a black-and-white image of 12th Century conqueror Genghis Khan, wearing sunglasses and bell bottoms riding a chopper while carrying a sword. For the club's 600 fully patched members, the logo is part of their identity and motto: "Mongols Forever, Forever Mongols." * But today, the Mongols Nation trademark is the focus of U.S. prosecutors' effort to dismantle America's most violent motorcycle gangs, from the Mongols to those who shot up a Waco, Texas restaurant over the weekend. 9 The Department of Justice considers the clubs a criminal enterprise and is asking a federal judge to make it illegal for Mongols members to wear the patch or even display the name -- allowing cops to literally take a Mongols jacket right off a biker's back. " --
Wow.. we gotta chance now.. we can make a "Citizens Arrest" whenever we see Democrat politicians wearing American flag pins to look patriotic!

ONLINE STORY: "A former state Senate candidate accused of being a con man, was indicted this week on one count of racketeering and 27 counts of theft by taking. * Brian Roslund allegedly swindled a charity, Georgia citizens and some powerful politicians. His actions came to light when a state audit found he took money from a charity and Channel 2 Action News uncovered a checkered past in Pennsylvania. * Prosecutors, who released a 23-page indictment Tuesday, allege Roslund participated in a calculated scheme. The indictment reads, "the accused engaged in a scheme to get elected... and then conducted and participated in the enterprise through a pattern of theft, deception and false documents * Roslund lost a 2014 race for the 29th District against State Sen. Josh McKoon, a popular GOP incumbent from Columbus." -- Hmmm.. "state audit found he took money from a charity"... well.. this touches many local aspects as well.. not only are the Clintons charity swills as well, and it seems to be a catching disease among Democrats in general.. it also confirms that we need a forensic audit in the MCSD, and we need all the Democrats who voted for Roslund to stand up and be counted.

Boeing may be my next investment consideration..After getting some $8+ BILLION in tax breaks for committing to build its new super X plane in Washington, Boeing has shifted 3,500 jobs to other states already, and plans for moving another 2,500 jobs elsewhere..Boeing is fed up with unions and lib politicians.

Online headline/story: "A Stadium Full of Patriotic Fans Take Matters Into Own Hands When They’re Told ‘No National Anthem’ * a stadium full of University of Louisiana-Lafayette softball fans was set to cheer for their beloved Ragin’ Cajuns, who were playing Baylor in the NCAA World Series, they got a sudden disappointment. * Apparently, there would be no singing of the national anthem due to “time constraints,” since the game was the third one of the day."
-- I hope they encored with "God Bless America".

Thought this was interesting.. most interesting that something other than firearms caused more deaths in Illinois, and that the flu was leading in Wyoming, N & S. Dakota and Maine but not in the South
where viruses would thrive better. Was not surprised at the most distinctive form of death in New York and Connecticut is "inflammatory diseases of female pelvic organs" since most of the males up there aren't very male...Also, was not surprised that such "honor" in Arkansas and Arizona was the non-accidental discharge of firearms.. in Arizona, because of the cross border surges of Mexican drug gangs, and in Arkansas because the Clintons still have things "to clean up" before Hillewinky's assault on the presidency.

Online headline: " Hillary Clinton will host an Atlanta fundraiser next week" -- Hmmm... does that mean Mayor TomLYINGson will send in the $1,000,000.00 she pledged to Sweet Briar College ?

Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Hillary should call the GOP election headquarters once a week to find out what her latest scandal is. L-E story: " A group of California farmers, in a surprising turnaround, is volunteering to give up a fourth of its available water this year, sharing a resource all but guaranteed to them for more than a century." -- Hmmm.. volunteering"? Nah.. the farmers just got smart.. they've figured out that if they give up water rights.. plant a crop.. leave it alone so it will fail, then they can file for disaster relief and make their profits soar!

Conversation at the last MCSD touched on a single bid for milk. A single bid of $1.4 MILLION was received, and according to MCSD personnel, 3 companies purportedly declined to bid, and another didn't respond.. Me thinks more than 1 company would be interested in a $1+ Million dollar contract.. Maybe there should be questions into why other companies were not contacted.
