Our Columbus police department made the Fox News..remember when the mother of a 10 year old called the police to get them to prank arrest him? Well, now the rest of the world knows it. I didn't agree with our police assets being used this way, and pray the 10 year old will not "hate cops" for this when he reaches high school, but at least it isn't as embarrassing to Columbus as our $244,000.00 Queen TT Lounge.

I learned today that one of our long time Breakfast Clubbers, and dear friend of me and my dad died April 30th.... Nelson Ross.. I miss him already.. April 30th is will be one of my forever wonderful memory days.. not only is it the day Nelson joined Christ in Heaven, it is also the day my mother did the same, and my 3 year old granddaughter was born. Hallelujah!

Simple." -- Common Crap math? doubling the trash picked up on a single day will require double the trips required ton get double the trash to the dump site. There is no savings, but since only $500K can even be accounted for out of $10.6 MILLION for twice a week pick ups (and recycle/inert pickups) why does any one want to give up service that only save each resident unit $8.00 a tear.. per person, cutting garbage pick ups in half saves only $2.50 per person annually.. or about 5-cents a week..

You know.. at a saving of 5-cents a week per person on an annual basis.. why doesn't the recycling unit just scavenge the water/.soda bottles and take them to a state that requires a deposit and cash them in? I imagine the City would rake in big bucks!
