From the "well, this does explain the obvious" department - Online story: "According to a New Jersey Watchdog analysis of records from the governor's office that was published Monday, Christie used $300,000 of his $360,000 state allowance over five years to purchase food, alcohol and desserts. * Some $82,594 of that sum went to Delaware North Sportservice, which operates the concessions at MetLife Stadium, the home of both the New York Giants and Jets teams. * Christie was also a big fan of the grocery store Wegmans Food Markets, where he spent $76,373 in 53 shopping runs. A spokesman for the governor defended the nature of the expenses, explaining they were for "official" and "business" purposes." -- Hmmm $82K at Jets games, and $76K for snacks et al from Wegmans.. It's a "cinch" why he didn't have to create any new "belt tightening" budget "restraints".

HuffPOOPOO story: "Bomber Brother 2 expressed remorse for the violence he and his brother unleashed two years ago that killed four people and wounded 264 others, according to a Catholic nun known for counseling death row inmates." -- Good grief.. a Catholic nun determined to eliminate the death penalty should be counseling at an abortion clinic rather than a prison. Regardless of whether a nun :feels" Bomber Brother 2 is remorseful or not.. this is a good opportunity to inject a Hillewinsky concept.. "What difference does it make?"

Online headline: "Benched! NFL suspends Tom Brady * The NFL announced Monday that they're taking the Super Bowl MVP out of the the first four games for his role in 'Deflategate." -- To begin with.. since every team quarterback uses his own footballs, why shouldn't they be allowed to "fix" it to their preferences? The refs use uniform pressure for the balls used for kicks, but every quarterback should have a ball that works best for them. Shoot, in baseball, pitchers often exchange baseballs for one that feels right in their hands. Secondly.. why hasn't the DOJ or the US Supreme Court "benched" Hillewinsky?

Online story: "A federal judge has agreed to reopen a lawsuit that seeks to gain access to emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private server. * Judge Reggie B. Walton’s decision Friday came after the State Department and Judicial Watch, which brought the lawsuit, agreed that the documents that Clinton kept on her own email server separate from the government should be turned over. * “This is the first case that’s been reopened,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch told The Washington Times. “It’s a significant development. It points to the fraud by this administration and Mrs. Clinton.” -- Good grief.. now it will be tied up in court maneuvers until 2017 after Hillewinsky could be elected, sworn in and Executively Pardon herself.

Random trivia picked up while looking for something else: The State Senate in New York has a Republican majority... that must be the world's largest herd of RINOs in captivity..

From the "you gotta be kiddin' me" department - Online story: "The Obama administration has ordered the U.S. Army to pay damages for discriminating against a transgender worker by denying the one-time man access to the women’s bathroom after he “transitioned” to female, thus changing his “gender identity.” * Additionally, the administration has determined that the Army also discriminated against the employee by failing to use his new female name (Tamara Lusardi) and instead continuing to use the name the man was originally hired under. The case involves a military veteran who worked as a civilian software specialist at the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) in Redstone, Alabama. Lusardi served in the Army from 1986 to 1993 and claims he suffered in a hostile workplace when management and co-workers kept calling him “sir” after becoming a woman and legally changing his name. * This month the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the bloated federal agency that enforces the nation’s workplace discrimination laws, ordered the Army to pay up for violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by committing sex discrimination against Lusardi." -- You know.. what's even more disturbing is that this "offense" dates back over 20 years.... why isn't there a statute of limitations?
---
L-E story: "Tae Daley is a high school football prospect who already knew he would have to make his college choice based on a number of factors. Now there could be another one -- how much money each school can offer him ... legally and NCAA approved, by the way. * And possibly there could be a difference of thousands of dollars from school to school." -- How can the NCAA do this? It wasn't too long ago that the NCAA cracked down on school boosters giving athletes cars and money or paid non-existent jobs, and now the NCAA wants to create "loopholes" that will allow athletic departments to create "shortfall" scholarships that will allow make up payments via "stipends". This will bring moneybag boosters out of the shadows. "

From above story: " Georgia’s transportation cost if an estimated average calculated by assuming four trips per semester from Warner Robins, since it is a mid-point for in-state students. For out-of-state students, it’s a round-trip plane ticket to Chicago, chosen for its central location." -- You know.. how long will it be before athletic departments will want to eliminate paying out-of-state fees for the recruits from other states, and let athletic boosters contribute such into slush funds to hand out as signing bonuses to recruits? Worse yet.. how long will it take for in-state recruits to contend that they should get the equivalency of "out-of-state" fees in stipends so their instate scholarships are valued the same?

The "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" has been joined by the "Vast Left Wing Conspiracy" on the Clinton Foundation works.. Seems after donations have been made to the Clinton's governments around the world are granting permission to ravage "green" ideals. Columbia has granted Frank Giustra access to harvest timber from a biologically diverse forest on the pristine Colombian shoreline. Colombia has also given another Giustra company permission to drill for oil in sensitive areas. Then there's the Lundin Group which "donated" $100,000,000.00 and got Hillewinsky to stop implementing actions against Lukas Lundin for " complicity in ‘war crimes and crimes against humanity,’”". Oh,, and the Clinton Goustra connection doesn't stop there.. 2,000,000 shares of Polo Resources garnered permission for open pit mining of coal in Bangladesh.. and who can forget a Clinton Foundation donation paved the way for Uranium mining which ends up in Putin's hands..
---
Maybe mainstream media will also connect the dots about Hillewinsky's claim to be one of the "little people" even though she spends all her time looking for handouts from "money people".... other than herself...

Online story: "Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Georgia’s net tax revenues for April totaled $1.93 billion, an increase of $252 million, or 15 percent, compared to April 2014. Year-to-date, net tax revenue collections totaled $15.78 billion for an increase of nearly $1.05 billion, or 7.1 percent, compared to the previous fiscal year, when net tax revenues totaled $14.73 billion through 10 months. Year-to-date gross tax collections, before refunds and distributions to local governments, totaled $22.15 billion, which was an increase of approximately $1.36 billion, or 6.5 percent, compared to the year-to-date total of $20.79 billion in April 2014." -- You know.. if our local economy is better than GA's as Mayor TomLYINGson claims, then revenues from sales/LOST taxes ought to be booming! Therefore, her budget requests should have ample funding, and there's no need to look to cutting garbage services to redistribute garbage fee funds.

Online headline: "NOAA CAUGHT REWRITING US TEMPERATURE HISTORY (AGAIN)" -- Where's Algore? I'm not going to comment on the following link, but I'm sure it has an effect ob Algore's public appearances..

The mother who had her autistic teen on an airplane told the attendants that her daughter needed food, but would only eat hot food. This known, why didn't the mother buy First Class tickets?

With all the unrest in the mid-East, somebody should tell Obamageddon that.if he draws a red line and dare someone to cross it, he'd better make the other guys believe the red line is blood, not washable markers.

Online story: "A Florida Atlantic University student has been suspended for refusing to trample on Jesus' name. * According to Ryan Rotela, a Mormon, his Intercultural Communications professor forced his students to write “Jesus” on a piece of paper and then stomp on it as part of a “lesson in debating.” Rotela refused, picked up the paper from the floor and placed it back on the table. * “I'm not going to be sitting in a class having my religious rights desecrated,” Rotela told WPEC. “I truly see this as I'm being punished.”
Though professor De(_*_)ndre P***** was supposedly trying to teach the students “a lesson in debate,” the student found the assignment to be offensive and insulting. * “I said to the professor, 'With all due respect to your authority as a professor, I do not believe what you told us to do was appropriate,'” Rotela said. “'I believe it was unprofessional and I was deeply offended by what you told me to do.'” * The Boca Raton, Fla.-based university, which is defending the professor, later suspended the student." -- Will someone with appropriate computer skill hack into Florida Atlantic and "loop" a continuous showing of the scene in "God Is Not Dead" of where the professor is hit by a car and dies?
---
Online story: "Michelle Obama gave a candid view Saturday of the challenges and emotional toll of being the country’s first black first lady. * Obama, speaking to graduates at Tuskegee University in Alabama, described insensitive media questions and derogatory remarks from political pundits that she said have kept her up at night. * “You might remember the on-stage celebratory fist bump between me and my husband after a primary win that was referred to as a ‘terrorist fist jab,’ ” she said." -- Hmmm ... her point?

Online story: "Grady Health System realized it couldn’t count on Medicaid expansion anytime soon, so it went looking for a different path. * Expansion, already implemented in a number of other states, would have extended coverage to hundreds of thousands of low-income Georgians – turning them into paying patients. By doing that, it would have helped Atlanta’s Grady Memorial and other hospitals offset deep federal cuts looming from the Affordable Care Act." -- Good grief.. physicians, HEEL thyself.. whether Medicaid or OObamaCRAP, the money comes out of the taxpayers right pocket.. right pocket only as the "left one" is zipped closed by liberals..
---
Online story: "Volvo announced publicly this morning what state leaders mulled silently over the weekend: The news that the automaker would build its first U.S. manufacturing plant in South Carolina instead of Georgia. * The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday that the automaker informed officials in Georgia that the Swedish automaker was looking elsewhere, leaving South Carolina as the only known finalist for the plant. Disappointed Georgia honchos spent the next days wondering what – if anything – more they could have done to land the plant." -- Excuse me.. but...Volvo Car Corporation is a Swedish premium automobile manufacturer. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group of China. What makes anyone think China is going to openly comply with US standards?

Online story: "Talks to save the Atlanta Nobel peace summit aren't going peacefully. * According to the AJC, three board members of the local nonprofit tapped with hosting the planned summit — Jason Carter, Laura Turner Seydel and Willis Potts — resigned Friday amid conflicts with the nonprofit's controversial CEO, Mohammad Bhuiyan. * Bhuiyan is the event's lead organizer and head of Yunus Creative Lab" -- You know,, when uber-libs such as JImmy Carter's grandson, Ted Turner's daughter, and former chair of the GA Board of Regents for the University of GA.. resign and it's not because of a conservative issue.. things are pretty rotten..
---
Online story: "Jay Roberts tapped for Georgia DOT planning director * The Georgia lawmaker who spearheaded passage of a $900 million transportation funding bill is in line to be the state Department of Transportation’s next planning director. * Roberts, chairman of the House Transportation Committee, keyed the effort to pass the transportation bill both before and during this year’s General Assembly session. He co-chaired a legislative study committee that held hearings across the state last year to lay the groundwork for the bill, then introduced the measure in January and steered it through the House." -- excuse me.. but this stinks to high heaven... Obviously, Roberts is being rewarded.. paid back, for getting enough GA legislators on board to raise our gasoline taxes to new highs.

L-E headline/story: "CSU breaks ground on new $25M dorm * CSU breaks ground on new $25M dorm * Under the agreement, the university continues to own the land while Corvias finances, constructs and maintains the building. Such a public-private partnership is possible because Georgia voters approved the referendum last November that allows private developers to be exempt from ad valorem taxes if they build housing or parking garages on state property and for USG students." -- This was what I "warned" everybody about in the 2014 election... CSU (and other GA Universities) can "sell" their existing dorms as well to recap money to buy more land/buildings to sell for more dorms, and the new "owners" get exempted from property taxes. This, in effect, will crush local apartment owners competing for student occupation. To boot, there will soon be a saturation point for declining enrolment, and parking will become an additional nightmare for CSU local students. Last November I went to CSU in the daytime to pay my daughter's tuition and could not find one parking space out of the 5 or six spaces designated for "visitors" bur were occupied by cars with "CSU" permits. The Front Avenue Garage already has become a parking nightmare for merchants' customers as students AND faculty member use the open parking spaces because they are more convenient than the gated CSU parking spaces on the upper floors. My attempts to get CSU to cooperate were ignored by previous CSU president Mescon.

L-E headline/story: "MCSD board member Cantrell proposes property tax rollback * The Muscogee County School Board has kept its millage rate at 23.37 mills for 18 straight years, and the school district's administration is proposing the same rate for next fiscal year, but a state law requires the board to advertise a "notice of a property tax increase" if it intends to benefit from growth in the digest." -- Hey.. what about the millage rate INCREASE that was advertised recently!

L-E's " Thought for Today": “We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers — but never blame yourself. It’s never your fault. But it’s always your fault, because if you wanted to change you’re the one who has got to change.” — Katharine Hepburn, American actress (born this date in 1907, died 2003)." -- Obviously one plaque not on the wall of the MCSB and Democratic Party National Committee.

Residential liberal's L-E "letter of the week": "The world is comprised of two types of countries: those that provide citizens with health insurance and those that don’t. Some countries make it illegal to profit from basic health insurance; but in other countries, if you can’t afford insurance, you may die. Most poor countries are the “pay or die” sort, but unfortunately, so is the U.S. Every year, 45,000 Americans die from lack of health insurance. - Judy F. Brouillette Columbus" -- Good grief.. Judy compares ants to elephants Millions of Americans die each year regardless of whether they have health insurance or not.. it's a natural occurrence in the life cycle of man. I do suggest Judy move to one of her preferred countries and see how long she lives there and report back to us via her obituary.

L-E headline: "Four arrested in Mother's Day fight at Columbus Red Lobster" -- Hmmm.. I just rerated Red Lobster from 3 Forks to 2 Shivs.
