Weekend Update:

Political correctness has reached a new low.. I saw an ad for an iPad case that was described as "veggan leather".. "veggan".. not faux, not synthetic, not even leather-look... but "veggan".  It must look like what I think tofu tastes like...
---
FTR: It's now 30 days... one month...  past the extended deadline for the Whittlesey Road widening project completion date. Where is the GA DOT on this? Where is the Columbus L-E on this? Anybody seen Sam?
It's about time we voters got some input... the appointed GA DOT board obviously demands no discipline of its contractors.. just look at the extended mess of the Moon Road project as well
---
We joke about government efficiency..; well, actually we "cry" about the inefficiency, and this ad run in the Columbus L-E just epitomizes such. 10 days ago, such an ad ran that is obviously a complete waste of tax dollars and people-in-need's time.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like some folks got their wish... so long Mark Richt..Unfortunately, so long a program of molding youn men to be morally ready to join society... we can be pretty much assured that the next coach will want to win on the field at all costs. Hey, you Bama folks.. don't be so smug.. y'all canned Bill Curry...

---
Online headline: "Obama lashes out after Planned Parenthood shooting: 'This is not normal * We can’t let it become normal'' -- "not normal"?  Does Obamageddon have a spine or is he handicapped by an emotion filter? Or is it that he just thinks "normal", for an abortion clinic,... is just lots of dead babies?

---
Online story: "A study published Friday from researchers in Italy and the U.K. found a bigger effect on the corpus callosum in people who smoked high-potency cannabis than people who smoked marijuana with lower levels of THC or those didn't smoke at all. * The corpus callosum is that thick band of nerves in the center that connects the left half of the brain with the right." -- Hmmm ... so much for the theory that marijuana is safer than alcohol, when, in reality, it is its own introductory to heavier drugs..

---
Online story: "Officials have discovered the sixth mass grave in or near the town of Sinjar, Iraq, after Turkish forces recaptured the city from the Islamic State earlier this month. * The grave was also rigged with a bomb and is believed to hold the remains of more than 120 people. *  The attacks were targeted toward the Yazidi minority that makes up most of the town's inhabitants. The Islamic state considers the Yazidi's faith heretical.  *  A United Nations panel concluded in March of 2015 that the Islamic State "may have committed" genocide against the Yazidis." --  "may have committed" genocide against the Yazidis"? .. Hmmm.. why don't we ask Obamageddon and see if this simply qualifies as "not normal"?

---
You know.. the Syrian "refugees" cannot be considered "refugees". "Refugees" are people seeking temporary asylum with hope to return to their homes.. none of theses Syrians will .. no.. can ever go back... their lives would be over for having just been accepted in America.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Jesse Jackson Joins Calls For Resignations After Laquan McDonald Shooting" -- "calls for resignations"? Hmmm..why doesn't he "call" for something worthwhile.. like calling for a massive  sweep of the streets for Chicago gang members so children can walk around safely?

---
Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " ISIS grew out of al-Qaida under Bush. The blood is on all of the Bushaholics." -- LIke Reagan oft said..'liberals just know so much that isn't so".. Truth is that al Qaeda reared its head in 1979 when Carter was in the White House.

---
Words... especially when you use them to redefine what they use to mean,  can be dangerous.. well, at least counterproductive at times... Saw a newspaper ad from a car place highlighting a "client advisor".. "client advisor"?  I think of a "client advisor" as being someone who has ideas that will make me money or protect my family.. does a car salesperson want to "advise" me on a depreciating "investment" , or "sell" me a car?

---
You know, If libs do not want to  Muslims have to register, then libs should find a workable way for Muslims to demonstrate their peacefulness, and denounce Muhammad,  Sharia Law, and ISIS.
---
Will someone get a sock and stuff it in Geraldo? Up until the jihadist attack in Paris when Geraldo discovered his daughter was in immediate peril, Geraldo was pretty ambivalent about ISIS.. Now he's in Paris complaining about Climate Change protesters giving the Paris policemen a hard time.. Next month, he'll be back to being the Geraldo who reacts to the changes in wind directions..

---
After a home drubbing by rival FSU... it looks like the Florida vs Bama SEC Championship game will be a yawner.. how about a rematch between Ole Miss and Bama?

---
Online "story": "U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton plans to make job creation the focus of her campaign over the next month, beginning with a $275 billion infrastructure spending plan that will be released this week. * Clinton's plan to increase the federal government's spending on infrastructure by $275 billion over the next five years will be fully paid for by changing how businesses are taxed, a campaign aide said, without providing any details." -- Good grief.. another government working welfare scam.. first, $275 Billion over 5 years is "but" $55 Billion per year, and wouldn't make a ripple in the economy even if it was new private industry jobs, but that's not the real threat.. she wants to complicate business taxes even more. Thirdly, like all Democrat plans, hes has a mainscream headline "without providing any details"..in other words.. "trust her". Yeah, right.

---
I got a good idea.. let's get McCain and Graham to run together as a third party offering.. If they get any votes, it'll be from Democrats who don't want to vote for G.I. Jillary.

---
I look at the quantity of TV ads pleading their case for donations, and I can only think of smaller dedicated charitable groups that could be fully funded simply with the amount of money that these campaign cost. Guess where my money is going?

---
Ford is not winning new friends..now a dealer is advertising lower prices than the "Ford Friends and Family" prices promotion.

---
You know, if the RNC is trying to pass itself off the GOP as an "inclusive" party, it needs to embrace Trump as a person and candidate.

---
Online headline: "Messy legal process could challenge Trump's mass deportation plan" -- Good grief.. is mainscream media just stupid.. or just stupid... I imagine Trump has a pen similar to Obamageddon's, and with Executive Orders and a see/hear/do nothing Congress.. it's possible..

---
A frustrated.. and deservedly so.. underinformed voter's L-E "soundoff": " We hear all the talk of cutting Medicare and Social Security. What about Medicaid and welfare?" -- Valid point ..but just too far removed to be workable.. welfare and Medicaid programs have run up the cost of medical services so much, that we cannot backtrack to reasonable healthcare costs.
---
L-E headline: "CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC * Pope brings peace message to divided capital" -- What's newsworthy about this? Now, when Poop Pat brings a message of actual peace, then let's celebrate.
---
Soapbox Moment: In retrospect.. When the U of Missouri president resigned following a protesters demand, it was the culmination of the liberals failures of running an educational institution that actually prepares students to be capable on their own life journey.
---
Guest L-E commentary headline/content: "Commentary: Los Angeles Times  * Prescription for tax dodge
 *   You’ve got to hand it to pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc.: It’s managing to make Americans resent drug companies even more than they already did. *  The maker of Viagra and Lipitor is the latest to announce a merger that’s designed at least in part to escape high U.S. corporate tax rates." -- Pfizer is not the enemy here.. Congressional Tax Laws have created these variables, and Pfizer is just using them for the benefit of its shareholders and the American public.. Staying here basically cost investors money to reinvest in other jobs, and if Pfizer kept the status quo, Allergan's products would have price increases to compensate for the higher American taxes. Liberals just know so much that isn't so.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline.story: "2015 Will Be Remembered As A Historic Year For Women In Baseball
They broke MLB barriers for female coaches, players and announcers. *  This fall, as Becky Hammon prepared for her second season as an assistant coach with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs and the Arizona Cardinals made Jen Welter the first woman to coach for an NFL team, it seemed like Major League Baseball had fallen behind its two largest competitors in welcoming women to the coaching ranks." -- Excuse me, but how, exactly , has this actually made the NBA, the NFL, and MLB... better?

Saturday, November 28, 2015

Online headline: "Bloomberg speaks out against GOP candidates who reject mainstream climate science" -- DOH! Good grief.. Bloomberg is/was the model of a RINO.. and is more of an opportunist than a leader.. Bloomberg supports what he can make money on..

---
Online story: "U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump's support among Republicans has dropped 12 points in less than a week, marking the real estate mogul's biggest decline since he vaulted to the top of the field in July, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. * Trump was the favorite of 31 percent of Republicans in a rolling poll in the five days ended on Nov. 27. That was down from a peak of 43 percent registered on Nov. 22.
The dip follows criticism of Trump for comments he made in the aftermath of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks that killed 130 people and wounded hundreds more. *  Following the attacks, Trump told an NBC News reporter that he would support requiring all Muslims within the United States to be registered to a special database, which his critics have likened to the mandatory registration of Jews in Nazi Germany." -- Hmmm... In another Online story revealed that: "Meanwhile, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the ringleader behind the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris had plans to strike Jewish targets and to disrupt schools and the transport system in France, according to sources close to the investigation."  Combined with other Muslim leaders "death wishes for Jews and Christian Americans in general, perhaps Trump is on to something.

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Turkish fans twice in two months disrupted moments of silence for victims of Islamic State attacks in Ankara and Paris in a demonstration of the kind of intolerance bred by religiously-cloaked authoritarianism in countries like Turkey and Saudi Arabia. * The fans demonstrative empathy with the Islamic State by shouting Allahu Akbar, God is Great, during moments of silence at the beginning of two soccer matches represented more than simple identification with the jihadist group or evidence of a substantial support base in Turkey. "  -- Looks like the Muslims are making Trump's argument for him.

---
It will be interesting today to see if Saban calls for any field goal kicks or punts against Auburn...histu-ory favors Auburn when Saban sends in a kicking team other than for extra points and kickoffs.

---
L-E headline/story: "Plans to restore old school building still in limbo  *  Details of lease agreement stall negotiation between group and city  *  The building is on the site of the first public school for black children in Columbus." -- Good grief.. how long is the L-E going to perpetuate the lie about Claflin being the site of the first school for black children? On 1st Avenue, there is a historic marker sign establishing that site as the first. If we're going to celebrate black history, let's be accurate.. we already have a park site designated as a slave cemetery that went through exhaustive research that determined there was no evidence of that site ever having burial activity/plots.

---

Online story: "The U.S. National Security Agency will end its daily vacuuming of millions of Americans' phone records by Sunday and replace the practice with more tightly targeted surveillance methods, the Obama administration said on Friday." -- Hmmm.. and I'm sure as many jihadists cheered for this announcement as they did watching he Twin Towers collapse ...Personally, with the lack of privacy of conducting one's private business  over the Internet and cell systems, we can't expect much privacy to begin with, so the best defense is simply not do things you're not proud of, but to strip away a first line against terrorism is dangerous.

---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double, extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "If you will just look at the schools with the failing grades, you will understand these children do not have any help at home. Teachers can’t do it 24/7." -- Good grief..liberals explain all their failures by making victims of their projects..If there was any truth is this liberal's statement, we would never have the Ben Carsons or Condoleezza Rices or Herman Cains or Colin Powells or Matin Luther Kings or William Spencers or Seale Harrises that have blessed our nation.

---
Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The Indians founded this country and the white Europeans came over and acted like thugs. Get your facts straight." -- Hmmm... another product of the public school,  politically correct, historically incorrect, education system.. so called Native American migrated here across the Siberian land bridge and history has recorded their penchant for slavery and brutality (scalping enemies.. often while still alive, for example) amongst the tribes, and goodness knows how well documented the brutality of South and Central American tribes was. Sites are still being uncovered revealing stacks of bones from human sacrifices conducted by their despotic chieftains.

---
A conflictedly stupid ,Jonathan Gruberesque LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I admire and respect our president. The Democratic Party supports my values. Supporting Hillary Clinton was also stupid."  -- Hmm.. where to start! I'm going to skip the "admire and respect our president" comment, but how does the author define Values" by a party of conflicted values? And "G.I. Jillary "was" stupid.. I'm gonna have to get Slick Willie" to parse this definition as well.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Supreme Court Halts Historic Hawaiian Election" -- "historic"?  How about "pathetic"!  I'm just wondering how less than 20% of a state.. country for that matter, can get an election initiative to fruition..

---
Online story: "Donald Trump's notorious Twitter presence landed him in a little hot water Sunday with a tweet about black-on-black crime. *  Trump appears to have been arguing that the new national focus on criminal justice reform is perhaps misguided, as most slain African-Americans are killed by other African-Americans, not police officers. * Trump's argument and the graphic he shared immediately drew the ire of some.

---
Online headline/story: "Arrest in heinous execution-style killing of Chicago boy, 9  *  Chicago police announced Friday the arrest of a known gang member in the "heinous" execution-style murder of a 9-year-old boy, a crime that shocked a city familiar with senseless violence. * Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Tyshawn Lee was lured into a south side alley and killed earlier this month to get back at his father, a member of a rival gang.  *  C**** M*****, 27, was arrested on a first degree murder charge  *  M***** is a “documented” gang member, and a convicted felon with a history of violence." --  "“documented” gang member, and a convicted felon with a history of violence"? Good grief.. why was this animal even back on the streets? Did he go to jail on lesser charges via 'plea bargaining' and get an early release? Hey, Obamageddon.. would he have qualified for early release under your program?  Hey, "Black LIves Matter", where are you?

You know.. those Chicago "protesters" in the shopping district could have done more good forming a picket line outside the Chicago area jails to block felons from being released.

---
Message to our school board: " Can’t afford Microsoft Word? * Get “open office.” It’s the same thing, except it’s free and has more features." -- And to think the MCSD spends way to much on the computers it supplies by paying for MS Office..

---
From the "look what I randomly found" department: "Parents, when punishing your kids, don’t take away their electronics. Just take their chargers and watch the fear in their eyes as the battery slowly dies."

---
You know.. how can the US ever recover from Obamageddon's indifference to what happened in Paris? The French military aided our fight for independence from England, and gifted us with the Statue of Liberty.

---
L-E headline/story: "Registration opens for MLK celebration * “We’re trying to find people who can speak to people who were not there, maybe were not even alive at the time of the civil rights movement, but can speak to how that movement has affected their lives  *  “We want to make certain that (King’s message) is not lost on these new generations. We want to make sure they understand the relevance of his message and his work today,”" -- How about finding people.. even local people who will presch the message Dr King died for rather than the one so-called "black leaders" advocate for their own benefit and publicity.. Show me where the reverends Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharlatan, or Mayor TomLYINGson, or Congressman John Lewis or Obamageddon has promoted Dr King's message..

Big rival games today involving SEC teams.. Gotta go with Mississippi State and Florida as "under 3 pts" home team underdogs and Bama as ... Bama (as long as Saban doesn't try field goals or punt)

Friday, November 27, 2015

From the "Biased...what me biased? department - Online story: "When it comes to climate science, two of the three Democratic presidential candidates are 'A' students, while most of the Republican contenders are flunking, according to a panel of scientists who reviewed candidates' comments *  At the request of The Associated Press, eight climate and biological scientists graded for scientific accuracy what a dozen top candidates said in debates, interviews and tweets, using a 0 to 100 scale. * To try to eliminate possible bias, the candidates' comments were stripped of names and given randomly generated numbers, so the professors would not know who made each statement they were grading. Also, the scientists who did the grading were chosen by professional scientific societies." -- "To try to eliminate possible bias"?  Good grief.. the fact that the AP commissioned the "survey" and the "climate and biological scientists" were "professors" guaranteed the results that AP wanted.

--
Note: "Bias is as bias does"... "Stupid is as stupid does"... Even Forrest Gump has climate change scientists figured out... even if  Climate Change was undeniable, then the Democrats are still wrong.. it is not more of a danger than ISIS.

---
Online "headlie": 'Obama grants reprieve to turkeys" -- What a twisted message.. Obamageddon unleashed 6,000 convicts, and invited in 100,000 Syrian refugees.. and dumped them into the turkeys who voted for him.

---
Online headline: "White House on lockdown after man draped in American Flag jumped the fence" --  Oooops, my bad.. though another name was released, rumor has it that it was  Hollande trying to see Obamageddon.

---
Online headline: "New videos raise fresh questions in Chicago police shooting of black teen *  The powerful Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) is supporting a Black Friday march along Michigan Avenue, an upscale shopping street, organized by civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson." -- "the powerful CTU is supporting a Black Friday March...organized by Jesse Jackson"? Why would the CTU be marching? Think about it.. the teen was of student age... maybe the CTU wants to divert any finger pointing at being involved with the failure of the school system in teaching the young man about Real Life 101.

---
I will not be a part of "Black Friday".. All those companies that j=have been blasting out "Black Friday" ads will not see me.. I will be shopping at stores that advertised their "After Thanksgiving Sale"

---
You know.. photo-ops of the annual "White House Turkey Pardon" when Obamageddon has been in office have been awkward.. the photographer always looks confused about which turkey is being pardoned.

---
From the "could be simply be" department - Random Thought: Have you ever thought about the liberals claims  about the US having more prisoners than any other country?  What they don't say is that in other countries, the recidivism rate is so much lower as none of their prisoners wanting to return, and the word on the street is that "you do not want to be in our country's jail?

---
You know.. in order to be considered an American made vehicle, cars must have 75% of their parts "domestically sourced" here. Toyota has the top two cars "made in America".. Sorta makes you wonder why American manufacturers have sought out foreign countries to make their parts..Hmmm... in 2 words.. Unions and Taxes.

---
Ironic? In a 1992 Matlock episode, Jay Cutler was the mob boss in Los Angeles... now Jay Cutler s "boss" of "da Mob" in Chicago.

---
Watched some of the parade yesterday..quickly switched from NBC to CBS, simply because (_*_)l Roker was on NBC, and didn't want to be called as a witness in any lawsuit filed by or against *l Roker.

---
Media wonks are in unison that Trump's popularity is that he's tapped into people's emotions. Yeah..the emotion of "honesty"... and it's about TIME! Hope it will rub off on mainscream media..

---
L-E headline/story: "Aaron Cohn Middle School team wins PAGE Academic Bowl *  On Nov. 19, 12 middle schools from the Muscogee County School District met at Shaw High to compete in the annual PAGE (Professional Association of Georgia Educators) Academic Bowl. Aaron Cohn Middle School made the record of being the undeafeated (sic) team (7-0)." -- Good grief.. Certainly, the  Aaron Cohn Middle School Team is to be congratulated on winning this competition, but is it really a celebration of success in the MCSD? Think about it,, 9 of our 12 Middle Schools failed the recently released GA Milestone Tests, so why were they involved in an academic challenge?  Now, if you read the article , who was the runner up? Certainly 2nd Place recognition would boost the students' self-esteem...

---
Columbus L-E "Guest" Commentary: "Donald Trump and shameless lies that divide  - Kansas City Star *  All politicians keep fact-checkers busy. They make promises that they can’t keep. They use cherry-picked data to make a case. They duck and dodge, sidestep and fudge.  *     Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton got tripped up more than once on claims about her private email server. Ben Carson, the strong-running GOP candidate, has been placed on the defensive by questions about the veracity of his biographical information. *  But rarely, if ever, has a high-profile candidate treated truth and accuracy as contemptuously as Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump." -- "rarely, if ever, has a high-profile candidate treated truth and accuracy as contemptuously as Republican presidential front runner Donald Trump."  Good GRIEF! The KC Editorial Board must have the attention span of a rock! Just one sentence prior to this it mentioned G.I. Jillary then forgot her before the period was in place.. And heaven knows the depth of dishonesty that Slick Willie is/was capable of...

---
Random thought: Why is black used to describe people who are brown? I've seen some very dark brown people , but I've never seen a "black" person....and why am I called "white".. even I look "tan" compared to white paper

---
Whoa! On Page C5 of the Columbus L-E is a "legal ad"pertaining to some property at 3737 Cusseta Rd..... it's for an "eminent domain" procedure for less than 2 acres (1.82) to construct a "Round-About" involving Ft Benning, Cusseta, and Brennan Rds. $191,700.00 is what is being "offered.. That address has a total of 17.63 acres assessed on the tax digest at a land value of $1,760,000.00.. 1.82 acres would be valued at $181,690.00.. Let's watch this.. the owners are being offered more than $10,000.00 higher than its worth but it will be contested and probably given a higher amount.. Let's also make the property owners' name public.. when it was vacant property, the 17.63 acres were valued at $531K in 2006, and $885K in 2007, and $930K in 2008 with some powerful people involved in the transactions leading up to building it out as "low-income housing) . It's known as Avalon Apartments

Gobble, Gobble! May you truly enjoy the blessings of God and family today. Happy Thanksgiving.

---
While it doesn't justify the actions of the Chicago policeman shooting  the knife wielding teen in Chicago in 2014, there's a witch hunt on his record.. According to reports, the officer has had 18 "complaints" in his 14 years of service. Apparently none were confirmed as valid, and the officer never had any disciplinary actions. Pop Test: Now.. which of these conditions existed: 1 - black cop/black teen, 2 - white cop/white teen, 3 - white cop/black teen, or 4 - black cop/white teen? You're correct!

---
Online story: ":President Barack Obama signed a sweeping defense policy bill into law on Wednesday, legislation that authorizes $607 billion in defense spending but also includes provisions that make it harder to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. *  Obama has long promised to close the prison, but has faced objections from lawmakers who do not want detainees to be transferred to U.S. prisons.  *  "As I have said before, the continued operation of this facility weakens our national security by draining resources, damaging our relationships with key allies and partners, and emboldening violent extremists" -- " weakens our national security by draining resources, damaging our relationships with key allies and partners, and emboldening violent extremists"? Huh? with the exception for building the jihadists a $750K soccer complex, there is no drain on our resources when you consider what it would cost in piece of mind having jihadists living in American neighborhoods, and which key allies ..well other than Obabageddon's friends, the Castros, are offended by penning up ..well.. jihadists, and how does the certainty  of an inescapable imprisonment "embolden" violent extremist?

---
Was glad to see there at least being an arrest of a contract holder in the MCSD bidding system, but what about the head of the MCSD bus maintenance operation.. Surely, someone in charge of keeping 500+ buses operational is VERY aware of parts costs, and should have caught the  padded invoice immediately. Loks like a forensic audit of the bus repair facility should be called for.

---
Speaking of needing forensic audits.. yesterday I saw this MCSD truck with a NC registered boat and trailer hitched to it. Something tells me that this was not MCSD system work. Judge for your self, and if you are in touch with the MCSB chairman and.or the MCSD Superintendent, get their reactions.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Online headline: "Obama cracks up crowd at annual turkey pardon" -- Yes, Virginia, he is a joke.

---
Have you noticed it?  It being that what use to be called "the Friday after Thanksgiving" has become "Black Friday" in the ads. Now, "Black Friday" is a term that has been with us a lot longer than I've bee alive, but it was an inside retail industry term.. It signified that after 11 months and 4 Thursdays, the Friday-after-Thanksgiving sales would make retail stores profitable for the year. I guess "Black Friday" is a politically correct offset to make up for the radio/Muzak saturation of "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas"

---
From the "how dumb was that "department - Online story: "Wu-Tang Clan ain't as crazy as you thought -- they just sold a single top secret album for more than $1 MILLION, and what IS crazy is ... the buyer can't share the music publicly...for 88 years!! -- Me thinks Wu-Tang Clan has out-thought itself. If I was the buyer, I would take the 31 "songs", and sell them individually to other bands for a fee and 88 year royalties. What's Wu-Tang Clan going to do.. sue.. and with the only copy of the music being in the buyer's hands, they would have nothing to show the courts that it was their music.

---
Online headline: "Study finds Chicago home to nation's worst bottleneck" -- Well, I guess so.. with 403 already shot and killed this year plus another  2,316 shot and wounded, that's a lot of police cars and ambulances blocking all the streets.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama Reminds Us That Pilgrims Were Refugees Once, Too" -- Yeah from a religious persecuting narcissist ruler.. that should sound familiar .

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — An opposition leader was shot to death at a campaign rally Wednesday for next week's congressional elections in Venezuela, his party said." -- Hmmm.. sounds like a copycat move from the Clinton playbook,

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Detroit-based DJ Steven James teamed up with singer-songwriter Quentin Sound to create a harrowing anthem for gays and lesbians living in the world's most homophobic countries.  * The music video for "We Know Who We Are" juxtaposes a pulsing EDM beat with disturbing news footage of anti-gay violence in Russia, Uganda and Jamaica. * James told The Huffington Post that the purpose of his new song is to "reach out to gay teens in those countries and tell them that there is nothing wrong with being gay, no matter what locals and their leaders say." * He added, "They're no different than any other citizen of their country." -- "they are no "? Hmmm.. then why the need to put oneself out there as different?
Note: "As it turns out, the tune has a charitable aim, too. James said he will donate 50 percent of proceeds from sales of the single to LGBT youth organizations in Russia, Jamaica and Uganda" -- If this is a purely idealistic/altruistic move on James' part, then why isn't he donating ALL the proceeeds?
---
L_E guest commentary: "Charlie Harper: More school money needed * Two weeks ago this column outlined the various steps to reforming Georgia's education system that have occurred over the past decade. This includes the adoption of a tougher K-12 curriculum and statewide performance standards for students. We have expanded school choice via local charter schools, state charter schools, and limited vouchers from of Student Scholarship Organizations. Unprecedented flexibility has also been given to boards of education to maximize local control. * the state is preparing to add additional money into the public school system. *  The recommendations on funding will replace the state's "Quality Basic Education" formula with a system that is based on student needs, not on programs offered by each local system. *  Furthermore, QBE didn't allocate money based on poverty." -- "the QBE didn't allocate money based on poverty"? Thank God for that.. Can you imagine how low the test score averages would have been had there not been enough money spent on the 25% of our MCSD schools that are moderately successful?
Let's look at this again.. the expenditures by GA for the past few years are:
FY 2011: $7,067,414,444
FY 2012: $7,075,837,688
FY 2013 $7,326,807,956
FY  2014 $7,409,293,094.
Those are BILLIONS, folks. and do not count the Millions..added by local taxpayers.. IT's not just our Muscogee County School System that has failed the students, our School Board has failed the students, teachers, and taxpayers of Columbus as well.
---
L-E story: "The CEO of LifePoint Health, which is on the verge of acquiring St. Francis Hospital, assured a crowd of about 80 people that his company has no intention of reducing the level of staffing or the number of lines of services provided by it, should their deal go through."  - Hmmmm.. well, at least not until January/February of 2016
---
L-E story: "The Consolidated Government has narrowed the field of applicants to manage the Columbus Aquatic Center to one, so far unidentified, company, according to Parks and Recreation Director James Worsley. * But the company’s bid of $1.27 million is almost half a million dollars more than the $836,000 the city has budgeted to operate the facility." -- Typical Mayor TomLYINGson "reveal". " Reveal" of her lack of business accumin. Out of town people/teams can join for little more than what locals pay, and the locals do not pay enough for using this facility. Oh... BTW, this deficit uses all the savings Mayor TomLYINGson says the City will gain from reducing our garbage pickups to once a week. Hey.. I have an idea,, let's just close the Natatorium and fill the pool and building with garbage.. look how much the Sanitation Department would save in gas and time alone in having a central dump rather than having to ride out to the outskirts of town to dump!. Shoot, the City will save more than enough to give us back our other garbage pick up days!
Besides, the smell generated from the natatorium wouldn't be as bad as the smells now already generated from the Mayor's office.

L-E headline: "A year after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Ron Anderson returns to Springer for 'A Tuna Christmas'" -- What a blessing! First Baptist members were gifted with a testimonial given by Ron this past Sunday..check with the FBC website for a replay.
---
RNC, DNC, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and now GLENN BECK hate Trump..looks like all the reason we need to elect..support ..Trump have become aligned.

Online story: "Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton claims there are two words that you’ll never hear come out of her mouth again — illegal immigrants." -- Hmmm.. yeah.. from now on she'll refer to them as future Democrats.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today":  “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey." -- Hmmm... looks like Oprah has been reading the Bible.. maybe she shold send a copy to Obamageddon to have in the Oval Office.
---
Interesting thought... should G.I. Jillary win the election, that would give Slick Willie the opportunity to take "selfies" at his and Monica's "spot". Just vote "NO WAY" if her name is on the ballot.
---
L-E story: " Obama pardoned “Abe,” the 2015 national Thanksgiving turkey, during a ceremony Wednesday in the Rose Garden. Abe gobbled right on cue as Obama finished his absolution. * Don’t fret for “Honest,” though, the second bird who was nearby if off camera. Both turkeys will spend their remaining days living it up on a Virginia farm. *  The birds hail from California, are 18 weeks old and weigh in at about 42 pounds each. The names of the turkeys were chosen from submissions entered by school children in California. Honest has a red face and neck, while Abe’s crown features more extensive blue splotches." --  Hmmm... at 2 foot tall and 42 pounds, it doesn't look like the turkeys were fed by the Michele school program.
---
From above L-E story: "Obama referred to Abe as TOTUS, or Turkey of the United States." -- "Totus"? Hold it.. isn't that already Obamageddon's Secret Service "code name"?
---
L-E headline: "Criminal justice issues showing up in 2016 presidential race" -- Ooooops, my bad.. thought someone was looking at the Clinton donation and Democratic voter lists.
---
L-E headline/story: "FIREWORKS SHOWS PLANNED FOR RIVERWALK * The Frank Martin Pedestrian Bridge and the RiverWalk 400 feet north and south of it will be closed next Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a fireworks show sponsored by TSYS. * Then on Thursday, the RiverWalk will be closed for 300 feet north and south of the Dillingham Street Bridge from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for another fireworks show, the “Night of Lights” hosted by the Phenix City Parks and Recreation Department." -- So the RiverWalk will be closed for 300-400 feet North and South of the bridge.. isn't that where the "Queen TT Lounge" is located? Well, I guess the Mayor must have heard about some possible terrorist attack.. (remember the cherry bomb/M80 sieges on school bathrooms in the past)?
---

Hmmm.. have you noticed the beefed up "Death Notices" in the L-E recently.. looks like a recap of the Crime Section .

From the "either hypocrisy  or moronicness in action" department: A video was released of a Chicago policeman shooting a Chicago teen in 2014. Gotcha.. sadly ,that's not the point of my focus...AOL.. in its liberal idiocy mode, ran an ad preceding the video. It was an ad for Disney.com/Microsoft-Play Station selling children's videos for Christmas.

Online headline/story: "Since '01, Clintons collected $35M from financial businesses *  In the 18 months prior to announcing her second campaign for president, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination addressed private equity investors in California and New York, delivered remarks to bankers in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and spoke to brokers at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida. * Her efforts capped a nearly 15-year period in which Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, made at least $35 million by giving 164 speeches to financial services, real estate and insurance companies after leaving the White House in 2001" -- Hmmm.. so she's admitting to receiving $35.000.000.00 (about $2,500,000.00 annually for the 14 year window) from the very people she vilifies to Democratic Party voters. Oh, and don't mix this with the 100s of Millions companies and countries have "given" to various Clinton Foundations (I think there were 13 at last count) as they sought her favor and ear. You know what's even sadder.. is with all these assets flowing into her control, she has created jobs only for her political cronies and family.
---
Online story: "ederal Election Commission records reveal that the DNC is millions of dollars underwater and running up a deficit each month, lagging far behind its financially savvy counterpart, the Republican National Committee" -- Hmmm.. now we know why the DNC backs G.I. Jillary.. the DNC has no money because G.I Jillary's backers are going direct to her or the SuperPACs that support her idiocy.

---
Online story: "An advertisement commissioned by the Church of England that was scheduled to air before the new Star Wars film was denied screen time in British movie theaters by Digital Cinema Media, a company that handles 80% of advertising in British movie theaters. *  The commercial shows people in various scenarios reciting lines from the Lord’s Prayer. * it was meant to promote a new website, Just Pray, that was made with the intention of supporting “the renewal of prayer in a digital age.” *  A statement by Digital Cinema Media: "Some advertisements - unintentionally or otherwise – could cause offence to those of differing political persuasions.." -- Good grief.. how can a secular company make such a discriminatory decision as to block an ad ... especially when you consider that the movie houses run shows that intentionally "cause offence to those of differing political persuasions".

Here's the link to "Just Pray" -

Online story: "Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear on Tuesday signed an executive order restoring voting rights to most felons in state in an action that he said will affect some 180,000 people. *  "The old system is unfair," Beshear said. "It's counterproductive. We need to be smarter in our criminal justice system. Research shows that ex-felons who vote are less likely to commit new crime and return to prison. That's because if you vote, you tend to be more engaged in society." *  The outgoing Democratic governor, speaking to reporters in the state capital, said the order does not cover those convicted of violent, sex-related, bribery or treason crimes." -- Good grief.. this should be the first act that the NEW REPUBLICAN Governor overturns! The nerve of the guy.. claiming ex-criminals, now voters, are less likely to commit crimes .. and that the order does not include those "convicted of violent, sex-related, bribery or treason crimes".. First, that's predominately what felons have committed.. secondly once the "dam breaks", you cannot put the water back.

---
Online story: "Democrat Hillary Clinton on Tuesday won the endorsement of the 500,000-member Laborers' International Union of North America, bolstering her lead for the party's nomination in the November 2016 presidential race." -- Why is this news? If G.I. Jillary doesn't get the Democratic Party nod, the unions will switch endorsements to whomever the Democrat nominee is.. You would think that with all the donations Clinton has gotten from bankers and Wall Street, that the unions would be leery of her, but the unions only care about who n=might raise the minimum wage.. why.. because every union contract has provisos tha attach the union wages to an automatic boost  as a percentage of the federal minimum wage incease.

---
Online story: "A Wisconsin law requiring doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital is unconstitutional, a U.S. appeals court ruled on Monday, addressing a topic the U.S. Supreme Court is considering during its current term." -- Good grief.. now online degreed doctors could get operating status at clinics rather than a clinic having to use board certified doctors. Basically, the US appeals court has licensed "back alley abortion factories".

---
Online story: "After the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris last week, many news sources claimed that not a single refugee had been charged with terrorism in the U.S. since the attacks on 9/11, but the assertion does not stand up to scrutiny. *  In fact, several refugees have been convicted in high-profile terrorism plots, and several more were “asylees” -- people allowed to stay in the U.S. for the same reasons as refugees, but who do not go through the same screening process. In one case, two Iraqi refugees in Kentucky were convicted after it turned out they had used IEDs to attack U.S. soldiers in Iraq and were plotting other attacks. An FBI agent recalled that they bragged about that and said they had soldiers “for lunch and dinner… meaning that he had killed them,” ABC News reported an FBI official as saying in 2013. * Since that incident, government officials say they have tightened procedures for refugees and that people like those two would no longer get in. But officials have also said that while the U.S. has an extensive database of Iraqis and their histories, built up over years of occupying the country, similar information does not exist for Syrians, some 10,000 of whom could be coming to the U.S. under a White House proposal." -- As Reagan was oft to point out.. "liberals just know so much that isn't so".
---
Obamageddon says the Paris terrorism was just a group of bad guys with some conventional weapons and access to social media who were willing to die...that sorta parallels the Obamageddon press agents..a bunch of bad people, with social media access willing to lie..

Random thought: Solar powered homes will not be successful until enough women scientists/engineers are involved.. Women are nurturers and aesthetical.. men could care less as long as something works the way they think it should, but women are different.. men would be "OK" with a mounted deer head in their bath or bedrooms.. it ain't gonna happen with a wife in the house. men are "OK" with the thought of ugly black solar panels on the roof or as siding, but not the wives.. the wives will win.
---
Random thought: You know.. trying to teach math by computer will not make students fluent in math.. Students need to be taught the manual aspects of math logic, and when they master that, then introduce computers and show how the computer is a tool to expand their wisdom of math. Test scores confirm this.

L-E's " Thought for Today":  “There’s no one so intolerable or less tolerated in society than someone who’s intolerant.” — Giacomo Leopardi, Italian author and poet (1798-1837). -- Wow.. An Italian nailed the progressive movement of liberalism way back when.

Remember the 1997 program of Clinton's that put excessive military equipment and vehicles in the hands of our nation's police forces? Well, following Ferguson, Obamageddon issue an Executive Order (number 13688) to take'em back... Not only is he a liar, he's an (as we use to say politically incorrectly) "indian giver"..

---
L-E story: "In an effort to "stir people's belief and patriotism," Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley posted a new sign Tuesday morning outside of his department that says his county is politically incorrect, and if you have a problem with that, you can leave. * Paid for by Jolley, the sign reads: "WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you… LEAVE!" * Jolly said Tuesday he was tired of the silent majority becoming "more silent." --

If the L-E is looking for comments, here's mine.. Yes! and if the Sheriff's Office of CPD wants a sign like this, I'll donate the funds!

Random thought: Cereal.... Those heat sealed bags that try your patience to get open... You know, why aren't cereal makers using zip-lock closures?

---
You know.. if Obamageddon had responded to the "red line drawn in the sand" that ASSwad crossed, then perhaps Syria would not be the power base of ISIS.

---
Online story: "White House press secretary Josh Earnest just became a an article on Salon by telling everyone they should discuss gun control around the Turkey Day table, making a family holiday as unpleasant as possible." -- Hmm.. I don't mine talking about "gun control" around a table with a stuffed turkey sitting well-baked on it.. After all, especially if it was a wild turkey, it took magnificent gun control to shoot it and provide a meal for our family. It also allows us to talk about how important it was for everyday Americans to have guns in their homes in the Colonial days to provide meals for their familes and revolt against foreign oppression.

---
Online headline: "Prince Charles Claims Climate Change Responsible For ISIS, Syrian Refugee Crisis" -- You know.. in a way, he's right.. the White House did have a climate  change when Obamageddon went in.. the climate changed from warrior to wimp.. from pride to poop..

---
L-E headline: "Alabama players fire shots at Auburn DL Carl Lawson, wide receivers to kickoff Iron Bowl week" -- Good grief! With all the stories the L-E runs about people being shot, why would the L-E run a headline using "Alabama players fire shots at Auburn DL Carl Lawson....."?

Whatta racket! Got charged with a bogus speeding ticket in August, challenged it,and was fully exonerated. When I went down to the State Court Clerk's office, I got a check refunding the fines I had already paid in order to get it bound over from Recorders Court to State Court. They cut me a check for $192.65, but I had paid that plus another $40.00 " Sheriff's Bond". I asked about this, and was sent to the Sheriff's Office. There I was told there were no refunds. Good grief! The City could ease its money problems real easy and real fast. What .. we have about a 1000 sworn officers with ticket writing capabilities, so...require each officer to issue 4 "bogus" speeding tickets a day.. When the recipients go down to Recorders Court to challenge tham, have the judge bind it over to State Court. When the recipient gets to State Court , have the charges dismissed and bive the bond money back to the recipients.. The recipients have a "victory" which will make them happy, and the City gets to keep the non-refundable "Sheriff's Bond Fee" of $40,00.. Let's see. if 1000, officers write 4 tickets a day, that's 4000 tickets times 365 days for a total of 1,460,000 tickets a year.. Multiply that by $40.00 in non-refundable "Sheriff's Bond Fees", and the city gets $58,400,000.00 in revenue which is almost two SPLOST taxes, and every body's happy. In addition, all those 1,460.000 ticket recipients will have to park downtown and either pay $2.00 each to park in a City parking facility, which would take in another $2,920,000.00 in fees, or risk parking in a 2-hour street space and getting a $30.00 ticket which could generate another $43,800.000.00. Combined, ($58.4 Million plus $2.92 Million plus $43.8 million) and the City could generate $105,120,000 which is more than the City's share of property taxes. Maybe then. Mayor TomLYINGson would leave us taxpayers alone!.... NOT!

France's President Hollande's came here, hat in hand.  to get reassurance that Obamageddon had his back.. Hollande got it, but ..he had to endorse Climate change issue in w=exchange.. We so need new.. no.. just plain old leadership back in nthe White House.. Our allies will remember Obamageddon's snubs long after he's out of office.

Online story: Paul Ryan Tells Sean Hannity He Will Not Support Any Cuts To Muslim Immigration: ‘That’s Not Who We Are’; -- And surely we are not stupid either.. Before the first refugee is admitted all should be screened. as a family unit, and answer whether they would forsake  Sharia Law for US Law, with a failure to do so being automatic and non-challengeable deportation or jail.

There's a story in the L-E that lists the Thanksgiving weekend store hours for areal businesses for Thurday and Friday. In this article, only  stores mentioned will not open anytime on Thanksgiving.. Those store are : JO-ANN FABRIC AND CRAFT STORES, Sam's Club, and Costco. I'm not going to mention the names of the ones that will be open.. but I won't shop at those on either Thursday or Friday.

Online headline/story: "Police: Victim dies after second shooting reported near Cusseta Road * Police said two people were injured in a shooting around 6:15 p.m. Monday. One victim suffered from two gunshot wounds to the thigh and shin or calf, police said. The second victim had a gunshot wound to the back of the left thigh. Both were taken Midtown Medical Center and are listed in fair condition." -- Once again, bullet wounds to someone's legs. We read that a lot in the L-E..must be some signature for a drug deal gone bad.
---
L-E story: "Columbus police have charged a former Muscogee County School District vendor with theft by deception for allegedly overcharging the district for school bus parts. *  Jarad Moseley of Moseley Auto Repair of Columbus surrendered to police about 11 a.m. today to be charged with the felony count. Investigators allege he by deceitful means overcharged for $4,093.88 in parts and submitted altered documents to the school district for payment." -- This one was an apparent "bid" item, but it highlights why we need stronger curtailment on giving one person an absolute power of authorizing purchases wiy=thout anyone else' knowledge or input.

A fellow BCer and former MSU classmate sent this to me and I want to share it: This is my team's quarterback.. here's a link to an open letter he's posted.. Dak Prescott may not win the Heisman, but the Heisman is not all about the quality of the athletes character. He is the Heisman winner in my eyes.

Read it and weep...

Online story: "A $160 billion deal announced Monday to merge Pfizer and Allergan and create the world's biggest drug company renewed the outcry in Washington over "inversions," in which U.S. corporations combine with companies overseas to lower their tax bill.  *  Inversions have long been attacked by some politicians as a tax dodge, and Hillary Rodham Clinton and Bernie Sanders, the leading Democratic presidential contenders, criticized the deal." -- And who's fault is it that companies seek "inversions"?  The socialist element of government.. the Democrats. In their greedy haste to use taxes as punishment for success, companies seek relief within the laws that exist.

Remember Ahmed “Clock Kid” Mohammed.. the 14 year-old who built a digital clock encapsulated in metal "pencil" case.. and took it to school? It's bomb like appearance caused turmoil. From the attention, he even got invited to the White House. Now his family, which moved to Qatar, is suing the city of Irving , TX and the Irving Independent School System for $15 Million. Claims he was "profiled" for being a Muslim... after seeing the pictures of Ahmed's "clock", I would have profiled "it" as a bomb regardless of who was carrying "it".

---
Online headline: "US declares global travel warning over terrorist activity" -- Good grief.. now that Obamageddon has invited Syrian jihadist into America, he doesn't want any Americans escaping.. uh..leaving the country...

---
Online story: "Travel industry groups are pressing members of Congress not to give in to the momentum to curb, or altogether eliminate, a visa waiver program that allows people from nearly 40 countries to visit the United States for recreation or business without a visa." -- Well, any "travel group" supporting a non-visa option to travel in this country should be put on America's "no fly" list ... forever.

Online headline: "Caitlyn and Kris hit NOLA together" -- Hmmm ... must be looking for work at Lucky Pierre's...

Out of the blue, the question of whether anyone of us had ever attended a "tent revival" came up.. I raised my hand and memories flowed,, I went to one ,, in Starkeville, Mississippi in the Fall of 1965 on a date with a young Christian student. As it turned out, the 'revival" was one led by Brother Bob Harrington.. ".the Chaplain of Bourbon Street". I had my doubts about his sincerity that night. The next time I remembered Brother Bob, was New Year's Eve 1978. I was in New Orleans for the New Year's Day 1979 Sugar Bowl game between Alabama and Penn State.. the numbers 1 & 2 in the country.. Bear Bryant and Papa Paterno.. head-to-head. anyway, time had caught with Brother Bob by then, and as we were inching along the streets amidst wall-to-wall people,, I saw the Bourbon Street complex of Brother Bob.. I also saw a young man trying desperately to open the door but to no avail.. it was locked shut.. I see that Brother Bob has made amends with God, and pray his life ends as he once preached he was. Oh.. BTW.. Bama beat the Nittany Lions 14 to 7 in a game that met its build up.

Online headline: "US strike destroys hundreds of ISIS oil tankers in Syria" -- Hmmm some more Obamageddon "style over substance".. the targets should be the oil refineries and shipping points, and a separate policy of blasting any countries' oil tankers out of the water if they try to load/transport Jihadi Oil.

Online story: "Analysts at U.S. Central Command were pressured to ease off negative assessments about the Islamic State threat and were even told in an email to “cut it out,” Fox News has learned – as an investigation expands into whether intelligence reports were altered to present a more positive picture. " -- Hey, Bernie Sanders... do you want to move on past these e-mails, too?

---
Online story: "Candidates for the GOP's presidential nomination would love to be seen as the best choice when it comes to defense. * However, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, Hillary Clinton is actually the front-runner when it comes to the fight against terrorism." -- Hmmm.. a poll conducted by ABC and the WaPo...wonder who they polled.. their staffs, Libyan and Syrian refugees? Of course they would prefer G.I. Jillary..they'd like Obamageddon's policies to remain intact.

---
Hmmm.. Did you see the new hourly average the unions got in contract negotiations with GM... $60,00 per hour? That's a $125,000 a year wage for manual labor.. what's worse is that getting robots to do the job better and cheaper is blocked by the contract. Yesterday I reported on the Consumer Reports list of best made cars.. GM had only a Buick model listed.. and that was a drop from last years ratings.. The top two quality cars were Lexus and Lexus Lite (Toyota) I've basically been a GM buyer all my life, but seeing how lesser cars at higher prices is the direction GM is returning, I'm thinking Lexus/Toyota for my next ones.

---
Online story: "Last week workers at the VA Hospital in Salem, Virginia received an email announcing that Christmas trees and religious themed carols would no longer be allowed in public spaces. VA hospital sorely underestimated how the local community would react." -- Hmm ..you know.. how do you prohibit the symbols of what got most of these soldiers through the ordeals of war.. Obamageddon may as well make an Executive Order banning prayer in foxholes..

---
Online headline/story: "Disabled Boston sportscaster files discrimination lawsuit against golf club * Bob Lobel, 71, who enjoys playing golf but must use an adaptive cart due to a degenerative condition, has filed a discrimination lawsuit against an Auburndale, Mass., golf club that has barred him from using the cart on its putting greens." -- "using the cart on its putting greens"? Good grief.. sadly, I can see our US Supreme Court agreeing with him.. I mean.. do you think Sotomayor, Ginsburg. or Kagan are avid golfers?. I can also see golfers taking their "handicap hangers" from their cars, placing them on their golf carts at public courses, and riding on the greens across America.. not so much in Scotland, though... that would be justifiable homicide.

How can mainscream media wonks be upset at Trump because he denies things they taped him saying, yet let G.I. Jillary off the hook when she says there are things she is against now though she was once for them?

---
Hey, "Black Lives Matter".. did Amanda Blackburn's life matter to you?

---
Yesterday, I sent the following letter to the Mat=yor, Council and MCSB:

"Just for the records..

I bought my house in Muscogee County in 2003.. property taxes on it became about $5,200 as it is today 12 years later.

I sold my Harris County home for about the same price as the one I bought in Muscogee County. I was paying about $1,900.00 in property taxes in 2003.. this year, the family that bought that house,(and added a 3-car detached garage) are paying less than $2,600.00 in property taxes, as well as no additional garbage fees.

Hmmm.. if I had stayed in Harris County, I'd would have saved more than $33,000.00 in property taxes/garbage fees, and my children could have gotten better public school educations.

Now, what is the reasoning about the City and MCSD wanting more taxes?"

Mayor ObamaLYINGson responded:

"We have more services and infrastructure than they do.

Teresa Pike Tomlinson
Mayor
Columbus Consolidated Government
"

I responded in turn:

""We have more services and infrastructure than they do." --

This starts my week off with ammunition for a month or longer.. more infrastructure and services?

It would be one thing if such paid for themselves, but it's another when they don't..

Just take the Natatorium.. swimmers from other counties pay little more on an annual team pass and no more on individuals.. Even CSU charges out-of-state charges for students, and the MCSD is supposed to charge out-of-state and out-of-county fees that reflect the costs of allowing them to use our facilities.

No, Mayor, you have no grasp of value in the projects you endorse or propose..

Why are non-Muscogee residents allowed to pay the same golf fees at Bull Creek and Oxbow Meadows as residents of Muscogee County do?

While I endorsed your opposition to the T-SPLOST, you did little to discourage those who voted for you during your elections.

This will be fun.

Mayor ObamaLYINGson responded again:

"Hal - Services and infrastructure are distinguished from public amenities. I just wanted to make sure your vocabulary is correct for your month long discussion.

Teresa Pike Tomlinson
Mayor
Columbus Consolidated Government

I responded to this:

Mayor.. you can try and separate expense areas/categories however you wish, but no matter how you do it, if fees do not cover the actual costs of use and maintenance, all the moneys you spend are tax dollars.. even "grants" are tax dollars..

TIME Magazine online headline: "Pope Francis: Christmas a ‘Charade’ This Year Because ‘Whole World Is at War’" -- Poop Pat really has a way with words.. when will he be replaced.. Christmas is a day.. a moment in time when Christians and others can envision HOPE.. why would Poop Pat want to dowse that with pessimism?

Apparently the RNC is looking the other way as GOP donors band together to "defeat and destry" Trump... They are idiots.. I like Trump for what he's doing to bring politics into the light rather than festering in the proverbial back rooms..What's disturbing is that the GOP can only hurt itself by appearing to be collusive in attacking a candidate.. Trump is a phenomenon.. the GOP needs to step back and take a good digestive peek at why Conservatives and Independents across America are embracing his message. People are tired of unkept political promises, and want a message of strength and hope.. while I am not comparing Trump to Reagan, both knew that Americans are hungry for leadership and a future..it really looks like the RNC has forgotten what its mission is.. to get Democrats out of office..

HuffPOOPOO headline: "More Proof That American Teachers Are Underpaid And Deserve More Respect" -- Is that what the GA Milestone Test Results showed? You know..it may not be a bad thing for Obamageddon to empty the jihadists from GITMO... now there will be room for him and his staff to be locked up and no jihadists there to help them escape.

What is Campbell's Soup trying to accomplish with running even more of those "boy has two fathers" ads coattailing on the upcoming Star Wars movie.  Just went out and bought 3 different brands of tomato and chicken w/rice which will soon replace Campbell's in our pantry and my brides recipes.

L-E's " Thought for Today": “There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.” — W.H. Auden, British poet (1907-1973)." -- Hmm.. will someone please explain this to mainscream media and Democratic voters.

ANKARA, Turkey — On a night of European soccer matches between national teams, the scenes in London and Istanbul were a study in contrast. *  The British and French fans at London’s Wembley Stadium sang the French national anthem in solidarity over the Paris attacks, while in Istanbul hundreds of Turkish fans booed the Greek national anthem and disrupted a moment of silence for those killed in Paris. The ugly incident illustrated what has been an ambivalent reaction to the attacks in Turkey — France’s NATO ally.
 *  While soccer fans are in no way representative of society as a whole, the scenes showed that the Paris attacks did not draw the same outpouring of grief as elsewhere in the mainly Muslim country, where recent research showed 8 percent of the population had a favorable view of the Islamic State group." -- You know, if Virginia's father asked her to write to the New York Sun today, the editor who wrote that famous response would write: "Yes, Virginia, there is a difference in Muslim countries and philosophy."

L-E story: " Federal prosecutors say a woman who helped file for more than $20 million in fraudulent tax returns has been sentenced to prison. * Officials say 24-year-old Talashia Hinton was sentenced Monday to 94 months in prison and is ordered to pay more than $7 million in restitution. * " -- $20 Million in fraud, and a restitution order for $7 Million? Hey what about all those more than 8,000 knowing recipients that cashed those refund checks/pre-paid cards.. Surely, full restitution and interest can be squeezed out of them as well.

Agent X is a new TV show about a female Vice President protected by her own "server", Sharon Stone has been cast as the VP.. sorta a reminder of a politician known as an amoral  sexual addict.....as if we really need this...

Weekend update: What's with the MCSB giving raised and contract extensions for lackluster performance? Even Richt and Malzahn won"t be looking for bonuses this year, and a repeat season will see them gone.

I saw something disturbing during the Arkansas-Mississippi State game..Different referees placed the ball down differently. Sometimes they marked the ball's front where their toe was, and other times, they placed the ball with the back of it by their toes.  That's a foot difference, and in some cases, and may be the difference in getting a First Down or not.

From the "look what I found by accident " department - Online story: "Earlier this year, the Department of Transportation (DOT) fast-tracked the submission of a proposal requiring all new cars to be manufactured with vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication capability." -- Good grief.. for what actual good can come out of this, the nuisance far outweighs that. Imagine an unscrupulous car repair business or tow service - yeah  ..there are those "out there" - wanting to boost sales.. they could send cars out with malware and shut down the car you are driving,, worse yet, surely some software company will develop a program to sell to businesses that they can use to broadcast an advertisement through your car radio whenever you drive by. Oh! and let's not forget "Big Brother"... imagine traffic and street lights having the ability to monotor everything you do and send you "invoices" every time you fudge on a speed limit or "yellow light".' Worse than that, what about government monitors that make you give the recommended 6-to-7 car lengths on the Interstates as you go through Atlanta at 65/70 MPH.

It really gets to me why Obamageddon was not just got elected, but re-elected. The informed knew he had no leadership, why would even Independents want to keep a "nanny-in-chief" in the White House?

Sunday Columbus L-E editorial headline/content: "Modest gain says numbers moving in right direction *   Unless you’re already quite wealthy, a 4.3 percent income hike won’t pay for a sleek new yacht or that vacation chalet in Aspen. But as big-picture economic indicators go, an increase of that size in the Columbus metro area’s per capita income is statistically significant and a valid reason for cautious optimism. *  As Ledger-Enquirer business writer Tony Adams reported Friday, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis released figures showing that this metro area’s 2014 per capita income of $36,683" --

Hmmm.. so "a modest gain" catches the attention of the L-E Editorial staff.  hmmm makes you wonder what they have been looking at during the plethora of declines in such over the past 7-to-10 years...Now.. $36,683.00 is about $17.50 per hours in wage speak (calculating 40 hours a week for 52 weeks), but in reality  most small business owners work 60 or more hours a week, so their "wage" is more like $11.75 per hour.. and unemployed "protesters" looking for work want $15.00 per hour... good luck with that...

L-E story: " To learn how the Muscogee County School District is helping to boost students to higher academic achievement, the Ledger-Enquirer visited Eddy Middle School last week. * Eddy is one of the district’s 13 lowest-performing schools, all of which are participating in a reading and writing pilot program the Muscogee County School Board approved in August and the district implemented last month after teachers were trained to use it. *  The program, called Achieve3000, is a web-based system that delivers differentiated instruction in nonfiction reading and writing. On a computer, students in a class read the same content in news articles from The Associated Press and National Geographic, but the computer program tailors the complexity of the text to each student’s reading level. *  Muscogee County will spend $630,000 over three fiscal years for Achieve3000. Superintendent David Lewis said the program will be evaluated after this school year to determine whether to recommend expanding it to the entire district." -- Hmm.. "will be evaluated after this school year to determine whether to recommend expanding it to the entire district"? Good grief.. if it's going to take 3 years to see if it works at one school, why are there plans to add any more schools after 1 year? Besides, a better test would be to go into a school that isn't failing, and see if it works to improve those students abilities who have already shown they are capable students.

---
Note on a bove.. Why would the MCSD be interested in a program called "Achieve3000"? It the program was really good, it could be named "Achieve Today"

---
Just for the records.. I bought my house in Muscogee County in 2003.. property taxes on it were about $5,200 as it is today 12 years later. I sold my Harris County home for about the same price as the one I bought in Muscogee County. I was paying about $1,900.00 in property taxes in 2003.. this year, the family that bought that house,(and added a 3-car detached garage) are paying less $2,600.00 in property taxes, as well as no additional garbage fees. Hmmm.. if I had stayed in Harris County, I'd would have saved more than $33,000.00 in property taxes/garbage fees, and my children would have gotten better public school educations. Now, what is the reasoning about the City and MCSD wanting more taxes?

Online headline: "Winter 2015-16 temperature outlook update: Warmer than average in the North, cooler in the South, East Coast" -- Hmmm.. The Weather Channel is predicting "Much Cooler" in Texas, "Much Warmer" in the Northern Plains states as well.. what does it mean? Maybe we'll get some snow down South, and the North East will still get blizzards .. I think I'll just consult my "Farmer's Almanac"....or wait and see where Algore's shadow falls.

---
Online headline/story: " Report: ISIS planning attack on WWE event in Ga. *  World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., or WWE, says its November professional wrestling event, the Survivor Series, will continue as planned despite alleged threats from ISIS. * Activist hacker-group Anonymous claims to have found evidence that suggests ISIS will attack the event, which is being held in Atlanta, Georgia. It's important to note the threats haven't been confirmed." -- Hmmm you have to wonder whether WWE sent in the "threat" to ensure a full house or to fill the parking lots with Concealed Carry patriots.

---
Online headline: "Black Lives Matter protester kicked out of Donald Trump rally after fight" -- Yes, black lives matter..yes they do, and so do the lives of every one else..Then why aren't the "BLM" protesters in the streets of our inner cities doing something positive for black neighborhoods instead?

---
No doubt..Notre Dame's uniforms were the weekend's worst.. and a definite consideration for the year's worst.

---
There's a running back for Arkansas that should have a special rule written just for him.."If a player's name and number on the back of his jersey can't be read by the referees or the TV commentators , then the referee should either send him off the field to cut it off or tuck it into his jersey. I'd give you his name, but it would have to be considered "hearsay testimony" because I never got a confirmed look at it.

---
L-E headline: "SOA Watch protesters missing at Stone Gate" -- Hmmm.. and if the L-E didn't show up and report on them, they probably wouldn't show up at all...You know.. if the SOA Watch is so concerned about human rights, why doesn't the SOA Watch leadership change venues .. to say.. the ISIS caliphate?

---
Online story: "Some University of Missouri students told the system’s governing body Friday they want some say in deciding who will become the next chancellor and president at the school’s main campus in Columbia and raised the argument the university needs more faculty of color." -- "needs more faculty of color"? Good grief..Dr King's message has been completely lost by this generation of black students.. what happened to King's ideal that we be judged on our character rather than our color?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "I Don't Care Who Killed JFK" -- If this doesn't sum up mainscream media's disregard for the past History and the Future of America, then you must be a liberal.

---
Online story: "Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee, said on Sunday the United States is not doing enough to fight Islamic State, and the group is gaining strength outside Iraq and Syria." -- "the ranking Democrat"?  Hmm .. how about the RANKEST Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee...

---
Hmmm..according to my e-mail, NY Senator GILLIBRAND wants me to dine with her and G.I. Jillary. Can you imagine how quickly they would regret that?

---
Just got an e-mail from GA Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson from District 4 (Cynthia McKinney's old seat), I noticed with interest that Johnson has a Chief of Staff, a District Director, 8 Wasjington staffers and 6 GA District 4 staffers.. You know what that means don't you?  that we taxpayers are paying for 16 Johnson advisors who also didn't know an island cannot tip over if too much military equipment is gathered in one place.

---
Online story: " Police have been trying to figure out what sparked a gun battle in a crowded New Orleans park that left 16 people wounded and the mayor is calling on witnesses to come forward." -- "calling on witnesses to come forward"? Good luck with that.. he mayor might want to call "Black Lives Matter" to come down and remind the surrounding neighborhood of that. Good grief.. what has mainscream media done.. it's given credence to "Black Lives Matter" out of political correctness and can't shut it off.

---
Online horror story: "A child in Houston, Texas is dead after authorities say the 19-month-old girl was placed in the oven by the baby's older siblings while being left home alone by the mother. * Local authorities believe the incident occurred when mother Raquel Thompson left her four children home alone on Monday night, Nov. 16. The mother told officers that she and her boyfriend left the children at home while they picked up pizza and a prescription the night of the horrifying incident. * All four children were under the age of four.
* Two of the children, both only three-years-old, told investigators that one of them put 19-month-old J'Zyra Thompson in the oven while the other one turned it on to "hot"." -- "Black Lives Matter".. where are you.. the police are not your enemy.. Pogo was right.. "we have met the enemy and he is us"

---
Online story: "Residents in Memphis, Tenn. woke up this week to an horrifying unwelcome surprise outside their doors. * Millions of little spiders have infested the yards of the city residents. *  Residents like Morris have been asking the city to step in to exterminate the little creatures, but haven't seen much action. * "Clean this area up and spray for these spiders and make it safe. There are kids running around. A spider could bite the kids or anything," Morris told WMC Action News. Her neighbor, Debra Lewis, agrees." -- Good grief.. it want be long before Democrat voters call the government to come out and wipe their rear ends after going potty.. This is what has happened courtesy of the Democrats buying people's votes. .. total government dependence.. whether it's in school where kids are picked up for hour+ plus rides to and from schools, to feeding kids what the government wants to.. in the classrooms and well as the lunchrooms. and graduating students who are not taught that they need to take responsibility for their own welfare.

Online story: ""I don't want to close mosques -- I want to surveil mosques. I want mosques surveilled. We were doing it New York City for a while until the worst mayor that New York City has ever had got elected," Trump said on Sunday, referring to de Blasio." -- Hmm.. Trump's right again.. and probably picked up more support in NYC.. what Democrat.. heck.. what politically correct Republican lifer candidate.  is going to tell the truth about de Bl(_*_)io that already percolates on the streets.

---
Hmmm... Lexus... and Lexus Lite (Toyota) are the reigning Top 2 vehicles for reliability according to Consumer Reports.. GM's Buick was 7th,which was a drop from last year, and the "usual suspects" ..Cadillac, Mercedes, and Beamers were shut out of the top group

---
Random thought: How can mainscream media complain about the Islam population not stepping up to fight or report on radial Islamists' activities/plans in their neighborhoods...when mainscream media doesn't hold black communities' feet to the fire on helping police rid their neighborhoods of street thugs/gangs?

---
Monday L-E headline/story: "SOA WATCH TO MOVE ANNUAL PROTEST OUT OF COLUMBUS  * The School of the Americas Watch annual protest is leaving Columbus and moving to the border of the United States and Mexico." -- You know.. if the L-E had just ignored this out-of-step-organization's efforts  at the beginning, this would have happened years ago, and saved taxpayers hundreds of thousands of wasted dollars in monitoring and court costs.

---
A you-gotta-be-kidding-me LIV's L-E "soundoff": " As an Italian-American I am offended that any program about the Mafia always portrays them as Italian. I also believe that any college group that throws a Toga Party should be expelled as insensitive." -- I think this person needs to be given a DNA test before he/she can claim to be Italian...

---
Jonathan Gruber triple-double extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The goal of ISIS to provide an atmosphere of terror in America is being accomplished. Our pandering politicians are now leading the charge to implement the fear factor among the electorate." -- Good grief.. somebody tell this idiot that ISIS wants to kill him/her, and no amount of sniveling will get him/her any sympathy from ISIS.

---
Incredibly stupid and ill-informed LIV's L-E's "soundoff": "Jesus was a child refugee. He must weep to hear his followers calling for nations to close their borders. I believe he would say we’re no longer welcoming him." --  Good grief... Jesus was hidden from the government.. not the people, and I do not remember him picking up a knife and slaying non-believers.

---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “It is better to debate an important matter without settling it than to settle it without debating it.” — Author unknown. -- Well, one thing for sure is it wasn't Nancy Pelosi or any of the Democrats in government in 2008-09.

---
L-E headline/story: "GEORGIA LEADS THE U.S. IN PROBATION * Group files lawsuits related to believed overuse of probation for defendants * Some in Georgia say the numbers are significantly inflated, but others say the numbers reflect an overuse of probation in Georgia, where courts contract with private probation companies to supervise and collect payments from people who can’t afford to pay tickets on the day they go to court.  *  “These figures are an embarrassment and a call to action,” said Sarah Geraghty, an attorney at the Southern Center for Human Rights. The group has filed lawsuits and complaints related to probation given to defendants accused of misdemeanors." -- "but others say the numbers reflect an overuse of probation in Georgia, where courts contract with private probation companies to supervise and collect payments from people who can’t afford to pay tickets on the day they go to court."? Good grief! What we have is a bunch of disgruntled lawyers complaining that they are not getting to go to court to get these criminals out on probation... so the lawyers are not getting paid with taxpayer dollars!  Like I say.. it's these rascally 99% of lawyers that give the other 1% a bad reputation.

---
Saw an interesting story in the L-E wishfully proclaiming hat UGA's experience with GA Southern;s "oiption" offense will help UGA against GA Tech..hey, it wasn't the GA Southern "options" that held UGA to 17 regulat time points.

---
Last week, the L-E missed an important "anniversary" date.. the one for the epic battle in the Ia Drang Valley in Viet Nam. Gotcha.. you thought I was going to say Kennedy's Assassination.. well, the L-E pretty much forgot that, too, but only because the L-E doesn't want Democrat voters to be reminded of Kennedy and see how lacking G.I. Jillary is...

FTR: It's now 23 days past the extended deadline for the Whittlesey Road widening project completion date. Maybe the GA DOT should adopt a policy that no bids can be taken from a bidder who hasn't finished his last job on time.

Online headline: "American citizen killed in Mali hotel hostage crisis * Islamic extremists armed with rifles and grenades stormed a crowded hotel on Friday, killing 20 people and briefly taking some hostage" -- And Obamageddon and the Democrats feel we should greet/treat Islamist refugees like "tourist"... well jihadist suck as tourist, too.

----
Online headline/story: "UN calls on states to combat militants in Syria and Iraq *  All able states should join the fight against Islamic State in Syria and Iraq and redouble efforts to prevent further attacks by the militant group, the United Nations Security Council said on Friday." -- Good grief.. guess the UN has given Obamageddon his "out" on the issue.. the UN specified "all ABLE states should join the fight", which give Obamageddon the wiggle room to do nothing.

---
I have an idea that is a win-win for the citizens of New York City and real Americans... let's declare the UN Building as a "safe space" (like campus protesters are demanding). When the jihadists infiltrate NYC, they would be drawn to the UN for security.. then we replay the videos of the UN condemning  them.. the jihadist then blow themselves up along with the UN building, and G.I. Jillary can finally claim that a video was actually responsible for a terrorist attack!

---
Let's take Trump's suggestion one step further. Establish a US military controlled  "camp" in Syria. There, let Syrian families enter, and if the men swear allegiance against ISIS, and if they do, allow their wives and children to be transported to another country depending on whether they want to continue Sharia Law or Western law.

Online headline/story: "Pop Warner sacks kids' Disney dreams, despite undefeated season *  Caiya Whitehead, the team mom, told FoxNews.com that the undefeated group of seven, eight and nine-year-olds had just played their first regional playoff game when they learned Nov. 9 that the prize rules had changed. Pop Warner had decided weeks earlier that they would not be awarding the two top teams a trip to Disney, as was the case last year. Instead, they selected two teams at random for the highly-coveted prize" -- Yes! Liberalism has crept into youth football! Instead of a team getting "the big prize" for winning, a team is selected to get "the big prize" for PARTICIPATION!  Well, what did the parents expect.. their children will get school diplomas for participating versus working hard, too. It comes with the territory.

Online story: "The IRS once again has stirred the ire of nonprofit groups, this time with a proposal organizations say could someday require them to collect and hand over the Social Security numbers of their donors.  * Under the proposed rule, the IRS would create an optional filing for 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Those participating would, as part of their yearly report, turn over the Social Security numbers of any donors who give $250 or more to a charity in a given year." -- Whoa!  To begin with, this will not pass muster with the Clintons so we don't have to worry about it coming to fruition, but fraud would run rampant as if IRS requires checks with social security numbers on them. Remember when GA tried to make your social secutity number your driver's license number? I personally joined in the fight to squash that issue.. attaching social security numbers on a bank instrument would certainly be a big a nightmare.

From a fellow BCer:
A veteran in talk radio, Mike Gallagher is the 8th most recognized talk radio personality in the country (The Benchmark Company), is heard by over 2.25 million listeners weekly).

Written by Mike Gallagher, an American radio host and conservative political commentator. He is the host of The Mike Gallagher Show. Many listeners have asked about the, "Obama: It Was You," essay that someone sent me.

Here it is: President Obama:

This is why you didn't go to France to show solidarity against the Muslim terrorists:

It was you who spoke these words at an Islamic dinner - "I am one of you."
It was you who on ABC News referenced - "My Muslim faith ."
It was you who gave $100 million in U.S. taxpayer funds to re-build foreign mosques.
It was you who wrote that in the event of a conflict -"I will stand with the Muslims ."
It was you who assured the Egyptian Foreign Minister that - "I am a Muslim ."
It was you who bowed in submission before the Saudi King.
It was you who sat for 20 years in a Liberation Theology Church condemning Christianity and professing Marxism.
It was you who exempted Muslims from penalties under Obamacare that the rest of us have to pay.
It was you who purposefully omitted - "endowed by our Creator " - from your recitation of The Declaration Of Independence.
It was you who mocked the Bible and Jesus Christ's Sermon On The Mount while repeatedly referring to the 'HOLY ' Qur'an.
It was you who traveled the Islamic world denigrating the United States Of America .
It was you who instantly threw the support of your administration behind the building of the Ground Zero Victory mosque overlooking the hallowed crater of the World Trade Center.
It was you who refused to attend the National Prayer Breakfast, but hastened to host an Islamic prayer breakfast at the WH.
It was you who ordered Georgetown Univ. and Notre Dame to shroud all vestiges of Jesus Christ BEFORE you would agree to go there to speak, but in contrast, you have NEVER requested that the mosques you have visited adjust their decor.
It was you who appointed anti-Christian fanatics to your Czar Corps.
It was you who appointed rabid Islamists to Homeland Security.
It was you who said that NASA's "foremost mission" was an outreach to Muslim communities.
It was you who as an Illinois Senator was the ONLY individual who would speak in favor of infanticide.
It was you who was the first President not to give a Christmas Greeting from the WH, and went so far as to hang photos of Chairman Mao on the WH tree.
It was you who curtailed the military tribunals of all Islamic terrorists.
It was you who refused to condemn the Ft. Hood killer as an Islamic terrorist.
It is you who has refused to speak-out concerning the horrific executions of women throughout the Muslim culture, but yet, have submitted Arizona to the UN for investigation of hypothetical human-rights abuses.
It was you who when queried in India refused to acknowledge the true extent of radical global Jihadists, and instead profusely praised Islam in a country that is 82% Hindu and the victim of numerous Islamic terrorists assaults.
It was you who funneled $900 Million in U.S. taxpayer dollars to Hamas.
It was you who ordered the USPS to honor the MUSLIM holiday with a new commemorative stamp.
It was you who directed our UK Embassy to conduct outreach to help "empower" the British Muslim community.
It was you who embraced the fanatical Muslim Brotherhood in your quest to overthrow the Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak.
It was you who funded mandatory Arabic language and culture studies in Grammar schools across our country.
It is you who follows the Muslim custom of not wearing any form of jewelry during Ramadan.
It is you who departs for Hawaii over the Christmas season so as to avoid past criticism for NOT participating in seasonal WH religious events.
It was you who was uncharacteristically quick to join the chorus of the Muslim Brotherhood to depose Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, formerly America's strongest ally in North Africa; but, remain muted in your non-response to the Brotherhood led slaughter of Egyptian Christians.
It was you who appointed your chief adviser, Valerie Jarrett, an Iranian , who is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The above provides the basis for virtually everything Obama does.

---
Fox News should re-examine its relationship with Juan Williams. When NPR dumped him for his comments about seeing Muslims on airplanes, Fox brought him on board full-time. Big mistake..when he was just an occasional guest, he brought interesting and thought provoking alternative commentary, but since he's been on the payroll full time, he's become a ranting one issue liberal. I'm at a point that I just seek alternative entertainment whenever he's on.

From the "could it simply be" department - Online story: "In Light of reports that at least one of the Middle Eastern refugees responsible for the  Paris massacres  had a Syrian passport, it is important to recall a Daily Mail exclusive dispatch earlier this month warning that Germany is “overwhelmed” with false asylum seekers’ Syrian passports. *  Forgery experts admitted they are largely powerless to stop the influx and cannot spot fake documents.  *  Police forgery expert Joerg Aehnlich: ‘I know their documents are false but I cannot give evidence in court that they [the asylum seekers] are not Syrian because I cannot prove it.’ -- "cannot spot fake documents"? You reckon?  Could it simply be that its's because hey are actually Syrian government issued fake ID's for jihadists?

---
Online headline/story: "Schools sing praise to Allah, create propaganda posters for ISIS *  this week in Huntington Beach, California, a group of seventh graders were forced to learn a song promoting Islam.  *  the teacher used the melody of a song titled, “This is My Fight Song.”  *  And freshmen at Utah’s Salem Junior High School were instructed to create a propaganda poster for terrorist organizations like the Islamic State. * the front page of the project lists “eight reasons why young Muslims join ISIS” and the back page required student to draw a “terrorism propaganda poster.” -- And even though neither event was approved or sanctioned (and the "poster project" was nipped in the bud before it was underway) by the respective school boards/administration, neither teacher was fired..

---
Online story: "For the first time, the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau have separately produced studies that show the city and state could see a negative economic impact of $1 billion to $2 billion if Senate Bill 129 ( sponsored by state Sen. Josh McKoon, R-Columbus, ) passes without civil rights protections. Both groups have actively sought to amend the bill to at least include anti-discriminatory language. * Both studies obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution used the impact of similar legislation in other states to come up with estimates for Georgia and Atlanta. The studies not only show the potential losses to the state, but signal that two muscular business organizations are ready to fight the bill when lawmakers return to session in January. * Senate Bill 129 passed the Senate this year but ran into a blockade in the House Judiciary Committee, where Republicans joined Democrats to add language making clear the bill cannot be used to legalize discrimination against anyone. Supporters said the amendment gutted the bill and they tabled it. * Tom Cunningham, the chief economist for the Metro Atlanta Chamber and author of the study, estimates the state would lose at least $600 million in convention and business travel, and hundreds of millions more if the bill scared away the National Football League, which is expected to award Atlanta a Super Bowl after the new Falcons stadium is built." -- Good grief.. the RFRA basically gives Christians the ability to exercise their religious beliefs at a time when the federal government supports religious beliefs for all other beliefs that aren't Christian, and we have government funded entities trying to undermine Christian beliefs based on unprovable, as well as irrelevant, economic data.. PS - Who believes the AJC worked at obtaining both studies.. I'll put my money of the Chamber and Convention Bureau hand delivering their "surveys"...

---
Online story: "The Johns Creek City (GA) Council this week approved a resolution that opposes any expansion of MARTA into the city 30 minutes north of Atlanta." -- Hmm.. wanta bet when there will be a federal discrimination law suit filed against this fast growing predominantly white community with rapid growth of affluent citizens of Asian and Black ethnicity for "racism" in wanting not to expose their community to people who ride public transportation?

---
L-E story: " Three-fourths of the Muscogee County School District’s high schools rank below the Georgia average in overall passing rate on the state’s new and more rigorous standardized tests, according to the Ledger-Enquirer’s analysis. *  The seven high schools below the state average on the Georgia Milestone tests are, in alphabetical order: Carver, Early College Academy, Hardaway, Jordan, Kendrick, Shaw and Spencer. *  The two high schools above the state average are Columbus and Northside." -- Well.. 3/4ths makes it unanimous across the board, but in reality it's closer to 8/10's than 3/4ths. but. with Common CRAP Math that the L-E supports, it's close enough...Now for the unvarnished truth by parsing the graphs and individual school test averages... Wait a minute .. where are the graphs and individual school "numbers" of the points they got like the ones used for the elementary and middle schools?  Are they so bad that Mark Price won't even put them in his story. Did a member of the MCSD/MCSB call in a favor?

Late edition.. the L-E online has finally posted some graphs but not of all the schools (Carver) nor one that demonstrates how the 9 high schools rank as compared to the State Averages. In other words.. the L-E and the MCSD does not want parents/taxpayers to see how bad it really is.

Did you see the Holiday Garbage pick up schedule.. Monday and Thursday pickups will be picked on Monday.. Tuesday and Friday pick ups will be picked up on Tuesday.. you know, if the Mayor was so intent on saving money by eliminating twice  week garbage pick ups, why hasn't she ordered that all garbage pick ups be done on Monday & Tuesday each week so that the trucks get more rest (and time for routine maintenance). A bonus to this is that maintenance personnel could be scheduled only to work on Wednesdays through Fridays, and all garbage truck personnel would only work Mondays & Tuesdays. We could save a whole lot more than we are now.

---
Jonathan Gruber densely stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I heard of a group who calls themselves “non gender.” They are demanding “non restrooms” for schools, public places, etc." -- Good grief.. all woman well, all biological women, should set this idiot straight.. letting a guy who feels/pretends he's a woman go into women's public restrooms will mean that real women will have to decide whether the person in front of them was a transgender and whether "she-it" raised the seat then lowered it after doing "she-it's" business or whether "she-it" just failed to raise the seat altogether.

---
Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The human body is designed for 45 years. After 45, the body begins to fail. After 65, it’s over, yet some folks continue. Why?" Hmmm-- Obviously a product of a Common CRAP curriculum taught by an atheist/agnostic Democrat applying for a job for an OObamaCRAP "death panel" position.

Our United Way organization gave the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley over $400,000.00 and now an employee is being investigated for embezzlement. The United Way should cease funding the BOYs and Girls Club until a complete forensic audit is completed and a thorough report is aired publicly, and the culprit(s) are completely exposed and convicted, and restitution can be arranged on his/her/their jail time. Any assets of the culprit(s)  should be immediately frozen.

It wouldn't be bad, either, if community leaders demanded a regrouping of the investigative team that determines whether a recipiient organization has a plan to prohibit such thefts.

Went to "Love the Coopers" last night...What a waste of talent.. Save your money... and your memory of what a fun actress Diane Keaton was....

FTR: It's now 21 days past the extended deadline for the Whittlesey Road widening project completion date. soon it will be a month.. You know 1 month is 1/6th of the extension the GA DOT gave along with an extra million dollars... you;d think we tax payers should be getting a month of that back in penalties.. Hey, 1/6th of a million is  over $166,000.00. Plus, why should we get penalized for drive time during Christmas?
