From the "either hypocrisy  or moronicness in action" department: A video was released of a Chicago policeman shooting a Chicago teen in 2014. Gotcha.. sadly ,that's not the point of my focus...AOL.. in its liberal idiocy mode, ran an ad preceding the video. It was an ad for Disney.com/Microsoft-Play Station selling children's videos for Christmas.

Online headline/story: "Since '01, Clintons collected $35M from financial businesses *  In the 18 months prior to announcing her second campaign for president, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination addressed private equity investors in California and New York, delivered remarks to bankers in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and spoke to brokers at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida. * Her efforts capped a nearly 15-year period in which Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, made at least $35 million by giving 164 speeches to financial services, real estate and insurance companies after leaving the White House in 2001" -- Hmmm.. so she's admitting to receiving $35.000.000.00 (about $2,500,000.00 annually for the 14 year window) from the very people she vilifies to Democratic Party voters. Oh, and don't mix this with the 100s of Millions companies and countries have "given" to various Clinton Foundations (I think there were 13 at last count) as they sought her favor and ear. You know what's even sadder.. is with all these assets flowing into her control, she has created jobs only for her political cronies and family.

Online story: "ederal Election Commission records reveal that the DNC is millions of dollars underwater and running up a deficit each month, lagging far behind its financially savvy counterpart, the Republican National Committee" -- Hmmm.. now we know why the DNC backs G.I. Jillary.. the DNC has no money because G.I Jillary's backers are going direct to her or the SuperPACs that support her idiocy.

Online story: "An advertisement commissioned by the Church of England that was scheduled to air before the new Star Wars film was denied screen time in British movie theaters by Digital Cinema Media, a company that handles 80% of advertising in British movie theaters. *  The commercial shows people in various scenarios reciting lines from the Lord’s Prayer. * it was meant to promote a new website, Just Pray, that was made with the intention of supporting “the renewal of prayer in a digital age.” *  A statement by Digital Cinema Media: "Some advertisements - unintentionally or otherwise – could cause offence to those of differing political persuasions.." -- Good grief.. how can a secular company make such a discriminatory decision as to block an ad ... especially when you consider that the movie houses run shows that intentionally "cause offence to those of differing political persuasions".

Here's the link to "Just Pray" -

Online story: "Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear on Tuesday signed an executive order restoring voting rights to most felons in state in an action that he said will affect some 180,000 people. *  "The old system is unfair," Beshear said. "It's counterproductive. We need to be smarter in our criminal justice system. Research shows that ex-felons who vote are less likely to commit new crime and return to prison. That's because if you vote, you tend to be more engaged in society." *  The outgoing Democratic governor, speaking to reporters in the state capital, said the order does not cover those convicted of violent, sex-related, bribery or treason crimes." -- Good grief.. this should be the first act that the NEW REPUBLICAN Governor overturns! The nerve of the guy.. claiming ex-criminals, now voters, are less likely to commit crimes .. and that the order does not include those "convicted of violent, sex-related, bribery or treason crimes".. First, that's predominately what felons have committed.. secondly once the "dam breaks", you cannot put the water back.

Online story: "Democrat Hillary Clinton on Tuesday won the endorsement of the 500,000-member Laborers' International Union of North America, bolstering her lead for the party's nomination in the November 2016 presidential race." -- Why is this news? If G.I. Jillary doesn't get the Democratic Party nod, the unions will switch endorsements to whomever the Democrat nominee is.. You would think that with all the donations Clinton has gotten from bankers and Wall Street, that the unions would be leery of her, but the unions only care about who n=might raise the minimum wage.. why.. because every union contract has provisos tha attach the union wages to an automatic boost  as a percentage of the federal minimum wage incease.

Online story: "A Wisconsin law requiring doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital is unconstitutional, a U.S. appeals court ruled on Monday, addressing a topic the U.S. Supreme Court is considering during its current term." -- Good grief.. now online degreed doctors could get operating status at clinics rather than a clinic having to use board certified doctors. Basically, the US appeals court has licensed "back alley abortion factories".

Online story: "After the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris last week, many news sources claimed that not a single refugee had been charged with terrorism in the U.S. since the attacks on 9/11, but the assertion does not stand up to scrutiny. *  In fact, several refugees have been convicted in high-profile terrorism plots, and several more were “asylees” -- people allowed to stay in the U.S. for the same reasons as refugees, but who do not go through the same screening process. In one case, two Iraqi refugees in Kentucky were convicted after it turned out they had used IEDs to attack U.S. soldiers in Iraq and were plotting other attacks. An FBI agent recalled that they bragged about that and said they had soldiers “for lunch and dinner… meaning that he had killed them,” ABC News reported an FBI official as saying in 2013. * Since that incident, government officials say they have tightened procedures for refugees and that people like those two would no longer get in. But officials have also said that while the U.S. has an extensive database of Iraqis and their histories, built up over years of occupying the country, similar information does not exist for Syrians, some 10,000 of whom could be coming to the U.S. under a White House proposal." -- As Reagan was oft to point out.. "liberals just know so much that isn't so".

Obamageddon says the Paris terrorism was just a group of bad guys with some conventional weapons and access to social media who were willing to die...that sorta parallels the Obamageddon press agents..a bunch of bad people, with social media access willing to lie..

Random thought: Solar powered homes will not be successful until enough women scientists/engineers are involved.. Women are nurturers and aesthetical.. men could care less as long as something works the way they think it should, but women are different.. men would be "OK" with a mounted deer head in their bath or bedrooms.. it ain't gonna happen with a wife in the house. men are "OK" with the thought of ugly black solar panels on the roof or as siding, but not the wives.. the wives will win.

Random thought: You know.. trying to teach math by computer will not make students fluent in math.. Students need to be taught the manual aspects of math logic, and when they master that, then introduce computers and show how the computer is a tool to expand their wisdom of math. Test scores confirm this.

L-E's " Thought for Today":  “There’s no one so intolerable or less tolerated in society than someone who’s intolerant.” — Giacomo Leopardi, Italian author and poet (1798-1837). -- Wow.. An Italian nailed the progressive movement of liberalism way back when.

Remember the 1997 program of Clinton's that put excessive military equipment and vehicles in the hands of our nation's police forces? Well, following Ferguson, Obamageddon issue an Executive Order (number 13688) to take'em back... Not only is he a liar, he's an (as we use to say politically incorrectly) "indian giver"..

---
L-E story: "In an effort to "stir people's belief and patriotism," Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley posted a new sign Tuesday morning outside of his department that says his county is politically incorrect, and if you have a problem with that, you can leave. * Paid for by Jolley, the sign reads: "WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you… LEAVE!" * Jolly said Tuesday he was tired of the silent majority becoming "more silent." --

If the L-E is looking for comments, here's mine.. Yes! and if the Sheriff's Office of CPD wants a sign like this, I'll donate the funds!

Random thought: Cereal.... Those heat sealed bags that try your patience to get open... You know, why aren't cereal makers using zip-lock closures?

You know.. if Obamageddon had responded to the "red line drawn in the sand" that ASSwad crossed, then perhaps Syria would not be the power base of ISIS.

---
Online story: "White House press secretary Josh Earnest just became a an article on Salon by telling everyone they should discuss gun control around the Turkey Day table, making a family holiday as unpleasant as possible." -- Hmm.. I don't mine talking about "gun control" around a table with a stuffed turkey sitting well-baked on it.. After all, especially if it was a wild turkey, it took magnificent gun control to shoot it and provide a meal for our family. It also allows us to talk about how important it was for everyday Americans to have guns in their homes in the Colonial days to provide meals for their familes and revolt against foreign oppression.

Online headline: "Prince Charles Claims Climate Change Responsible For ISIS, Syrian Refugee Crisis" -- You know.. in a way, he's right.. the White House did have a climate  change when Obamageddon went in.. the climate changed from warrior to wimp.. from pride to poop..

---
L-E headline: "Alabama players fire shots at Auburn DL Carl Lawson, wide receivers to kickoff Iron Bowl week" -- Good grief! With all the stories the L-E runs about people being shot, why would the L-E run a headline using "Alabama players fire shots at Auburn DL Carl Lawson....."?

Whatta racket! Got charged with a bogus speeding ticket in August, challenged it,and was fully exonerated. When I went down to the State Court Clerk's office, I got a check refunding the fines I had already paid in order to get it bound over from Recorders Court to State Court. They cut me a check for $192.65, but I had paid that plus another $40.00 " Sheriff's Bond". I asked about this, and was sent to the Sheriff's Office. There I was told there were no refunds. Good grief! The City could ease its money problems real easy and real fast. What .. we have about a 1000 sworn officers with ticket writing capabilities, so...require each officer to issue 4 "bogus" speeding tickets a day.. When the recipients go down to Recorders Court to challenge tham, have the judge bind it over to State Court. When the recipient gets to State Court , have the charges dismissed and bive the bond money back to the recipients.. The recipients have a "victory" which will make them happy, and the City gets to keep the non-refundable "Sheriff's Bond Fee" of $40,00.. Let's see. if 1000, officers write 4 tickets a day, that's 4000 tickets times 365 days for a total of 1,460,000 tickets a year.. Multiply that by $40.00 in non-refundable "Sheriff's Bond Fees", and the city gets $58,400,000.00 in revenue which is almost two SPLOST taxes, and every body's happy. In addition, all those 1,460.000 ticket recipients will have to park downtown and either pay $2.00 each to park in a City parking facility, which would take in another $2,920,000.00 in fees, or risk parking in a 2-hour street space and getting a $30.00 ticket which could generate another $43,800.000.00. Combined, ($58.4 Million plus $2.92 Million plus $43.8 million) and the City could generate $105,120,000 which is more than the City's share of property taxes. Maybe then. Mayor TomLYINGson would leave us taxpayers alone!.... NOT!

France's President Hollande's came here, hat in hand.  to get reassurance that Obamageddon had his back.. Hollande got it, but ..he had to endorse Climate change issue in w=exchange.. We so need new.. no.. just plain old leadership back in nthe White House.. Our allies will remember Obamageddon's snubs long after he's out of office.

Online story: Paul Ryan Tells Sean Hannity He Will Not Support Any Cuts To Muslim Immigration: ‘That’s Not Who We Are’; -- And surely we are not stupid either.. Before the first refugee is admitted all should be screened. as a family unit, and answer whether they would forsake  Sharia Law for US Law, with a failure to do so being automatic and non-challengeable deportation or jail.

There's a story in the L-E that lists the Thanksgiving weekend store hours for areal businesses for Thurday and Friday. In this article, only  stores mentioned will not open anytime on Thanksgiving.. Those store are : JO-ANN FABRIC AND CRAFT STORES, Sam's Club, and Costco. I'm not going to mention the names of the ones that will be open.. but I won't shop at those on either Thursday or Friday.

Online headline/story: "Police: Victim dies after second shooting reported near Cusseta Road * Police said two people were injured in a shooting around 6:15 p.m. Monday. One victim suffered from two gunshot wounds to the thigh and shin or calf, police said. The second victim had a gunshot wound to the back of the left thigh. Both were taken Midtown Medical Center and are listed in fair condition." -- Once again, bullet wounds to someone's legs. We read that a lot in the L-E..must be some signature for a drug deal gone bad.

L-E story: "Columbus police have charged a former Muscogee County School District vendor with theft by deception for allegedly overcharging the district for school bus parts. *  Jarad Moseley of Moseley Auto Repair of Columbus surrendered to police about 11 a.m. today to be charged with the felony count. Investigators allege he by deceitful means overcharged for $4,093.88 in parts and submitted altered documents to the school district for payment." -- This one was an apparent "bid" item, but it highlights why we need stronger curtailment on giving one person an absolute power of authorizing purchases wiy=thout anyone else' knowledge or input.

A fellow BCer and former MSU classmate sent this to me and I want to share it: This is my team's quarterback.. here's a link to an open letter he's posted.. Dak Prescott may not win the Heisman, but the Heisman is not all about the quality of the athletes character. He is the Heisman winner in my eyes.

Read it and weep...
