From the "great events" department: The Soldier Marathon at the National Infantry Museum at Ft. Benning, GA.
Two of my daughters participated in the 1/2 Marathon aspect..
While they didn't set the world on fire, they kept the flame lit for the world to see how non-liberals in America support our troops and veterans.
Here they are with the 2015 Race Director (and personal lifetime friend) Cecil Cheves, an International Ironman/Triathalon competitor.
