Random thought: After the number of airplane disasters in recent years, perhaps it's time for technology to be "re-thunk" concerning those "black boxes". Perhaps there should be 1 or two of those things that are placed in ejection tubes, and have protective packaging that will float, and have parachutes that inflate at a certain point above land or sea.

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - Online headline: "Google will soon write your emails" -- Hmmm.. we already know Google has a better driving record with its vehicles, and pretty well knew it was cherry-picking our info from our phones and computers, but now it looks like Google has found a way to read our minds.. Looks like those loonies wearing aluminum "caps" may have been right!

Online story: "Mexico's Supreme Court on Wednesday gave the green light to growing marijuana for recreational use in a landmark decision that could lead to legalization in a country with a bloody history of conflict with drug cartels. * Although not legalizing use of marijuana, it is one the boldest steps ever taken in that direction in a country long reluctant to liberalize drug laws.." -- Good grief.. it's OK to grow it but not legal to use it? Looks like the cartels have bought the Mexican Supreme Court! The cartels don't care whether Mexicans can buy it legally, now they can grow it without repercussions from the police, they can stop paying off police and politicians to look the other way, and can openly farm it for US exportation. We need Trump and his wall....now!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Activists Pledge To Go After 'SNL' Advertisers Over Donald Trump Appearance" -- Hmmm.. guess fear has set in... some libs just don't want Trump to have an opportunity to present himself and his truths to the SNL audience..

---
You know.. Matt Bevin winning the Kentucky governor's race with 25% more votes than predicted by polls, and Ohio voters rejecting recreational marijuana by a 2-to-1 margin  must really have the Democratic Party strategists wolfing down Tums....

You've probably seen what were acts of a patriotic nature honoring our soldiers at professional ball games. You probably thought,  as I did, that this was nice of the sports teams or the League. Now we find out they has been paid events by the DOD. You know, I'm disappointed with the DOD, but I'm really PO'd at the teams or leagues for accepting those checks.

Genealogists of the future will be pulling their hair out trying to piece together connections of families dotted with multiple parents, multiple baby-daddies, multiple and hyphnated surnames, unmarried parents, and International adoptions. Whew... would not want to be an Ancestry.com researcher in the future.

---
You know..when liberals get together to browbeat anti-nature Republicans, do you suppose they think about how many trees are killed to make corks for their gourmet wines?

---
Online story: "An ex-convict who spent seven years in federal prison for corruption when he was the mayor reclaimed the Bridgeport mayor's office Tuesday, completing a stunning comeback bid that tapped nostalgia for brighter days in Connecticut's largest city." -- Pop Quiz.. DemocRAT or Republican?

---
Online headline: "RNC asks IRS to audit Clinton charity's finances" -- Can't you hear G.I. Jillary begging the DOJ..."please don't throw me in dat thar briar patch"....Good grief.. the RNC is out-of-it.. no wonder Trump and Carson are blowing away RNC supported candidates...no wonder people are supporting Bevins in KY, and "NO" to marijuana in Ohio.

---
Online headline: "DHS Tries Halting Deportation of Illegal Aliens “Ethnically Profiled” by Cops " -- Illegal Aliens Are Ethnically Profilrd"?  Good grief.. as if citizens of Mexico illegally crossing the US souther border are going to be of Euro or African ancestry....

L-E headline and "story": "Ga. Power installing LED street lights all over city * The project is costing the city nothing, Watkins said, and it will save taxpayers significant amount in city power bills. It will also benefit Georgia Power because of their greater efficiency. * Georgia Power estimates that the city of Columbus may be able to reduce its total energy use for street lighting by 50 percent through the transition to LED roadway lighting. * City Engineering Director Donna Newman said the city pays “in the neighborhood of $3 million” a year to keep the streetlights on, but he said savings of that significance would depend on the city’s rate structure, which is set by the Public Service Commission." -- "ave taxpayers significant amount in city power bills"? - Yeah .. right.. and as soon as GA Power calculates "the loss", it will go to the PSC and whine about that and get the PSC to raise residential rates to offset that loss.

---
On above item: Let's pound Council with e-mails and phone calls to take any savings claimed by GA Power and send those directly into the "fund balance Mayor ObamaLYINGson has raided to pay for her whims..

L-E headline: "COLUMBUS POLICE SHOOTING * OFFICIALS: SUSPECT INJURED 3 OFFICERS *  Officer who shot man placed on administrative leave" -- "Officer who shot man placed on administrative leave"? Good grief.. he ought to be given a parade ..and a promotion if he takes more shooting lessons and improves his aim.

A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": " A wise man balances his beliefs against the evidence." -- In other words, this adage will never be seen at a Democrat Primary, a NBC affiliated media source, or on the wall of Obamageddon's Press Meeting room.  or used/adopted by Elijah Cummings, D-Marylanfd7).

---
Jonathan Gruber incredulously stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "   If I find out my representative has voted for that budget ceiling hike, I will vote against him. I’ll vote for Hillary." -- Good grief.. how much Kool-Aid has this lib drunk?   With luck though, he/she WILL vote for G.I. Jillary against Bishop and that vote will be DQ'd.

---
Another Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I have one thing to say regarding the fire suppression chemical in my cigarette: I need a light … again." -- Pssst.. hey buddy.. take a long drag.. you're inhaling that chemical..

---
You know.. I beginning to believe G.I. Jillary is running on Obamageddon's platform of "Hope and Change"... Democrat voters are "hoping" she'll "change" and she'll actually tell a non-lie they can say they heard before they die.

L-E headline/story: "'Hero' officer staged suicide, embezzled from youth program * after an intense and costly manhunt for three phantom suspects came up empty, investigators realized he was something else: A small-time embezzler, who meticulously staged his death to make it look like he was slain in the line of duty. *  Incriminating texts and Facebook messages Gliniewicz sent tell a different story, revealing his increasing anxiety after Fox Lake hired its first professional administrator, Anne Marrin. She began auditing all the village departments, including the Explorer program. *  Gliniewicz deleted the messages, but investigators recovered them, and released some of them verbatim on Wednesday, without identifying whom he sent them to. * "If she gets ahold of the old checking account, im pretty well f(asterisk)(asterisk)(asterisk)ed," the officer wrote in May" -- You know.. maybe this will get Council to order a forensic audit of that Nike basketball scam, and the grant receivers of Public Safety Commission...

It's sadly I relay the news of the death of Chuck Hurston.. Chuck was a Columbus man of great skills and integrity.. A star player at Jordan High, Auburn University, and the Kansas City Chiefs, and a personal business associate of mine in the past. He fought the cancer thing valiantly.
