Gobble, Gobble! May you truly enjoy the blessings of God and family today. Happy Thanksgiving.

While it doesn't justify the actions of the Chicago policeman shooting  the knife wielding teen in Chicago in 2014, there's a witch hunt on his record.. According to reports, the officer has had 18 "complaints" in his 14 years of service. Apparently none were confirmed as valid, and the officer never had any disciplinary actions. Pop Test: Now.. which of these conditions existed: 1 - black cop/black teen, 2 - white cop/white teen, 3 - white cop/black teen, or 4 - black cop/white teen? You're correct!

Online story: ":President Barack Obama signed a sweeping defense policy bill into law on Wednesday, legislation that authorizes $607 billion in defense spending but also includes provisions that make it harder to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. *  Obama has long promised to close the prison, but has faced objections from lawmakers who do not want detainees to be transferred to U.S. prisons.  *  "As I have said before, the continued operation of this facility weakens our national security by draining resources, damaging our relationships with key allies and partners, and emboldening violent extremists" -- " weakens our national security by draining resources, damaging our relationships with key allies and partners, and emboldening violent extremists"? Huh? with the exception for building the jihadists a $750K soccer complex, there is no drain on our resources when you consider what it would cost in piece of mind having jihadists living in American neighborhoods, and which key allies ..well other than Obabageddon's friends, the Castros, are offended by penning up ..well.. jihadists, and how does the certainty  of an inescapable imprisonment "embolden" violent extremist?

Was glad to see there at least being an arrest of a contract holder in the MCSD bidding system, but what about the head of the MCSD bus maintenance operation.. Surely, someone in charge of keeping 500+ buses operational is VERY aware of parts costs, and should have caught the  padded invoice immediately. Loks like a forensic audit of the bus repair facility should be called for.

---
Speaking of needing forensic audits.. yesterday I saw this MCSD truck with a NC registered boat and trailer hitched to it. Something tells me that this was not MCSD system work. Judge for your self, and if you are in touch with the MCSB chairman and.or the MCSD Superintendent, get their reactions.

Online headline: "Obama cracks up crowd at annual turkey pardon" -- Yes, Virginia, he is a joke.

Have you noticed it?  It being that what use to be called "the Friday after Thanksgiving" has become "Black Friday" in the ads. Now, "Black Friday" is a term that has been with us a lot longer than I've bee alive, but it was an inside retail industry term.. It signified that after 11 months and 4 Thursdays, the Friday-after-Thanksgiving sales would make retail stores profitable for the year. I guess "Black Friday" is a politically correct offset to make up for the radio/Muzak saturation of "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas"

From the "how dumb was that "department - Online story: "Wu-Tang Clan ain't as crazy as you thought -- they just sold a single top secret album for more than $1 MILLION, and what IS crazy is ... the buyer can't share the music publicly...for 88 years!! -- Me thinks Wu-Tang Clan has out-thought itself. If I was the buyer, I would take the 31 "songs", and sell them individually to other bands for a fee and 88 year royalties. What's Wu-Tang Clan going to do.. sue.. and with the only copy of the music being in the buyer's hands, they would have nothing to show the courts that it was their music.

Online headline: "Study finds Chicago home to nation's worst bottleneck" -- Well, I guess so.. with 403 already shot and killed this year plus another  2,316 shot and wounded, that's a lot of police cars and ambulances blocking all the streets.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Obama Reminds Us That Pilgrims Were Refugees Once, Too" -- Yeah from a religious persecuting narcissist ruler.. that should sound familiar .

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — An opposition leader was shot to death at a campaign rally Wednesday for next week's congressional elections in Venezuela, his party said." -- Hmmm.. sounds like a copycat move from the Clinton playbook,

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Detroit-based DJ Steven James teamed up with singer-songwriter Quentin Sound to create a harrowing anthem for gays and lesbians living in the world's most homophobic countries.  * The music video for "We Know Who We Are" juxtaposes a pulsing EDM beat with disturbing news footage of anti-gay violence in Russia, Uganda and Jamaica. * James told The Huffington Post that the purpose of his new song is to "reach out to gay teens in those countries and tell them that there is nothing wrong with being gay, no matter what locals and their leaders say." * He added, "They're no different than any other citizen of their country." -- "they are no "? Hmmm.. then why the need to put oneself out there as different?
Note: "As it turns out, the tune has a charitable aim, too. James said he will donate 50 percent of proceeds from sales of the single to LGBT youth organizations in Russia, Jamaica and Uganda" -- If this is a purely idealistic/altruistic move on James' part, then why isn't he donating ALL the proceeeds?

L_E guest commentary: "Charlie Harper: More school money needed * Two weeks ago this column outlined the various steps to reforming Georgia's education system that have occurred over the past decade. This includes the adoption of a tougher K-12 curriculum and statewide performance standards for students. We have expanded school choice via local charter schools, state charter schools, and limited vouchers from of Student Scholarship Organizations. Unprecedented flexibility has also been given to boards of education to maximize local control. * the state is preparing to add additional money into the public school system. *  The recommendations on funding will replace the state's "Quality Basic Education" formula with a system that is based on student needs, not on programs offered by each local system. *  Furthermore, QBE didn't allocate money based on poverty." -- "the QBE didn't allocate money based on poverty"? Thank God for that.. Can you imagine how low the test score averages would have been had there not been enough money spent on the 25% of our MCSD schools that are moderately successful?
Let's look at this again.. the expenditures by GA for the past few years are:
FY 2011: $7,067,414,444
FY 2012: $7,075,837,688
FY 2013 $7,326,807,956
FY  2014 $7,409,293,094.
Those are BILLIONS, folks. and do not count the Millions..added by local taxpayers.. IT's not just our Muscogee County School System that has failed the students, our School Board has failed the students, teachers, and taxpayers of Columbus as well.

L-E story: "The CEO of LifePoint Health, which is on the verge of acquiring St. Francis Hospital, assured a crowd of about 80 people that his company has no intention of reducing the level of staffing or the number of lines of services provided by it, should their deal go through."  - Hmmmm.. well, at least not until January/February of 2016
---
L-E story: "The Consolidated Government has narrowed the field of applicants to manage the Columbus Aquatic Center to one, so far unidentified, company, according to Parks and Recreation Director James Worsley. * But the company’s bid of $1.27 million is almost half a million dollars more than the $836,000 the city has budgeted to operate the facility." -- Typical Mayor TomLYINGson "reveal". " Reveal" of her lack of business accumin. Out of town people/teams can join for little more than what locals pay, and the locals do not pay enough for using this facility. Oh... BTW, this deficit uses all the savings Mayor TomLYINGson says the City will gain from reducing our garbage pickups to once a week. Hey.. I have an idea,, let's just close the Natatorium and fill the pool and building with garbage.. look how much the Sanitation Department would save in gas and time alone in having a central dump rather than having to ride out to the outskirts of town to dump!. Shoot, the City will save more than enough to give us back our other garbage pick up days!
Besides, the smell generated from the natatorium wouldn't be as bad as the smells now already generated from the Mayor's office.

L-E headline: "A year after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Ron Anderson returns to Springer for 'A Tuna Christmas'" -- What a blessing! First Baptist members were gifted with a testimonial given by Ron this past Sunday..check with the FBC website for a replay.
---
RNC, DNC, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and now GLENN BECK hate Trump..looks like all the reason we need to elect..support ..Trump have become aligned.
---
Online story: "Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton claims there are two words that you’ll never hear come out of her mouth again — illegal immigrants." -- Hmmm.. yeah.. from now on she'll refer to them as future Democrats.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today":  “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey." -- Hmmm... looks like Oprah has been reading the Bible.. maybe she shold send a copy to Obamageddon to have in the Oval Office.
---
Interesting thought... should G.I. Jillary win the election, that would give Slick Willie the opportunity to take "selfies" at his and Monica's "spot". Just vote "NO WAY" if her name is on the ballot.
---
L-E story: " Obama pardoned “Abe,” the 2015 national Thanksgiving turkey, during a ceremony Wednesday in the Rose Garden. Abe gobbled right on cue as Obama finished his absolution. * Don’t fret for “Honest,” though, the second bird who was nearby if off camera. Both turkeys will spend their remaining days living it up on a Virginia farm. *  The birds hail from California, are 18 weeks old and weigh in at about 42 pounds each. The names of the turkeys were chosen from submissions entered by school children in California. Honest has a red face and neck, while Abe’s crown features more extensive blue splotches." --  Hmmm... at 2 foot tall and 42 pounds, it doesn't look like the turkeys were fed by the Michele school program.
---
From above L-E story: "Obama referred to Abe as TOTUS, or Turkey of the United States." -- "Totus"? Hold it.. isn't that already Obamageddon's Secret Service "code name"?
---
L-E headline: "Criminal justice issues showing up in 2016 presidential race" -- Ooooops, my bad.. thought someone was looking at the Clinton donation and Democratic voter lists.
---
L-E headline/story: "FIREWORKS SHOWS PLANNED FOR RIVERWALK * The Frank Martin Pedestrian Bridge and the RiverWalk 400 feet north and south of it will be closed next Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a fireworks show sponsored by TSYS. * Then on Thursday, the RiverWalk will be closed for 300 feet north and south of the Dillingham Street Bridge from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for another fireworks show, the “Night of Lights” hosted by the Phenix City Parks and Recreation Department." -- So the RiverWalk will be closed for 300-400 feet North and South of the bridge.. isn't that where the "Queen TT Lounge" is located? Well, I guess the Mayor must have heard about some possible terrorist attack.. (remember the cherry bomb/M80 sieges on school bathrooms in the past)?

Hmmm.. have you noticed the beefed up "Death Notices" in the L-E recently.. looks like a recap of the Crime Section .
