From a fellow BCer: There's a change in attitude around the world since January 20, 2017:

---
From the "hmmm... interesting" department - Online story: " Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch and former President Barack Obama were both members of the 1991 graduating class at Harvard Law School." -- That was 26 years ago this year.. Gorsuch graduated at age 23 and Obama at age 28.. The wrong 1991 grad was elected president.

---
From the "how disgustingly low will mainscream media go" department -- HuffPOOPOO story: "President Trump has called his senior adviser, son-in-law Jared Kushner, "a tremendous asset...throughout the campaign and transition." * However, their close relationship may be going through some challenges, according to a recent Vanity Fair report. * The piece states that "according to a source familiar with the situation, Kushner's influence on his boss may be flagging." *  One instance cited by Vanity Fair is the abrupt cancellation of Trump's meeting with Mexico's Nieto, which Kushner had reportedly spent numerous hours trying to negotiate. *  In addition to issues surrounding Mexico, Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, has also been blasted for working on behalf of an administration that recently barred refugees when his own grandmother was a Holocaust survivor." -- "according to a recent VANITY FAIR report"? "barred refugees when his grandmother was a Holocaust survivor"? ...Good grief! Who cares what anybody at Vanity Fair "feels"! And what does Kushner's grandmother's Holocaust nightmare have to do with a 90 day ban of admissions into the US from people from 7 mid-east/African jihadist states... Kushner's grandmother was persecuted in GERMANY!

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "John Kasich's new book fuels 2020 speculation" -- Good grief.. what.. as a Democrat? Kasich couldn't even get the support of the majority of Republican primary voters in his own state of Ohio where he's the sitting governor..

---
Found this tidbit while looking up something else.. Wisconsin.. you know.. in the Republican primary last year, Trump only got 35% of the vote.. Ted Cruz won with 48%, yet Wisconsin voters picked Trump over Hellary..

---
From the "ironic oxymoron" department - Online story: "The National Football League announced that Phillipa Soo, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Jasmine Cephas Jones — who originated the roles of Eliza, Angelica and Peggy Schuyler in Broadway's hit musical Hamilton — will reunite to perform “America the Beautiful” during the televised pregame show." -- Hmmm.. guess the NFL couldn't get KaeperPRICK to sing the National Anthem?  Oh, to use a Hellary quote when it actually fits.. I will not be watching, so.. "What difference does it make!"

---
Another from the "mainscream media will not accept that American support Trump" department -- Online headline/story: "Exclusive: Trump's travel ban polarizes America - Reuters/Ipsos poll * Americans are sharply divided over President Donald Trump's order to temporarily block U.S. entry for all refugees and citizens of seven Muslim countries, with slightly more approving the measure than disapproving, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion * The Jan. 30-31 poll found that 49 percent of American adults said they either "strongly" or "somewhat" agreed with Trump's order, while 41 percent "strongly" or "somewhat" disagreed and another 10 percent said they don't know." -- "polarizing"? Only 41% said they "strongly/somewhat opposed Trump's actions.. That my friend means 59% don't "oppose" Trump.. That's not a "polarization" .. 59% is a landslide!

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "Mere moments after President Donald Trump announced Neil Gorsuch as his nominee to succeed Antonin Scalia on the United States Supreme Court, Democrats began rallying to filibuster the nomination." -- Good grief.. the Democrats didn't decide "mere moments" after the nomination, they've been calculating this move since November 9th when Trump was declared the winner.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Poll reveals which team will win Super Bowl LI" -- I've never seen a "poll" reveal a winner in anything.. much less a head-to-head competition.. We only have to think back to the morning of November 8. 2016 to see the results of the HuffPOOPOO poll that declared Hellary would win.

---
What is it with libs...Sally Yates thought she could defy her boss because she didn't want to enforce the law of the land, yet felt she was entitled to keep her job. If I could not agree with my boss's directives that were lawful decrees, I would have resigned on the spot...not wait to see if I would get fired or not.

Online story: "A compromise bill allowing Georgia’s craft brewers to sell their products directly to consumers took its first step toward passage Monday. * Senate Bill 85 would let the breweries sell up to 3,000 barrels of the beer they manufacture to customers visiting the brewery. Customers would be able to buy beer by the glass, take up to one case home with them, and purchase food without the tour package that is currently required." --- Hmm.. buy beer and food on premise... just curious, but..doesn't that technically make such an operation a "restaurant"? How about all the licensing and permits to required of a "restaurant"? How about the health department inspections? And ABC registrations?

---
Online headline: "'Bed tax' bill sails through Georgia Senate committee * The General Assembly enacted the 1.45-percent tax on Georgia hospitals' gross revenues back in 2010, then extended it in 2013. If this year's bill passes as expected, the tax would be renewed for another three years." -- Excuse me, but if the state can exact a special sales tax on hospital patients, why isn't the state.. and the individual cities enacting ALL of the approved sales taxes?  Boy.. just what the healthcare industry and consumers need.. and 8% plus bump in costs, and fewer disposable income dollars in consumers' pockets.

John Lewis... now under an ethics investigation. Seems Lewis feels he can get away with anything.. from and online story: "In a complaint filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics, the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, or FACT, alleged that Michael Collins, Lewis’ longtime chief of staff, broke ethics rules that bar senior staffers from serving on campaign organizations as officers and making more than the allowed amount for outside work. * FACT said Lewis was also at fault for hiring Collins as his campaign treasurer." -- Good grief.. Lewis defeated his token Republican opponents in 2016 and 2012 by 6-to-1 landslides, and was unopposed in 2014 altogether.. Why does he even need a campaign committee.. or for that matter,, campaign donations?

---
Online headline: "Senate Democrats just made an unprecedented move to delay votes on Trump's Cabinet nominees" -- Good grief.. will someone tell the Democrats to put on their gender-neutral "big boy" panties and do their job.. I hope Trump puts a "stop" on their pay checks and office allowances until they come back to work.

---
Sean Spicer has a tough job...talking to mainscream media about facts is as bad as trying to talk to Democrats about Hellary and  truthfulness.

---
Why would any American be opposed to Trump wanting to lower insurance, medical, or medicine costs?

---
L-E story: "The Muscogee County Board of Education is undergoing a systematic review and revision of its policies under a project with the Georgia School Boards Association. To view and to comment on the proposed policy revisions, go to https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/Index.aspx?S=5121. Public comments must be received by Feb. 13. Email communications@muscogee.k12.ga.us." -- Hmmm... why doesn't the L-E and the MCSB just take a short cut and listen to what Frank Myers, and John Thomas have been saying as they represent their constituents?
