Was in Atlanta Friday on leg 1 of our celebration of graduation of my son-in-law
from UGS School of Law.. Went shopping/lunching with my bride at Lenox.. As we
walked through Macy's, I saw a display of Versace clothing.. all glittery and
outlandish.... and all locked to display racks/stands. I thought to myself..
what's the message here.. I'm sure Macy's was concerned about shoplifting, but
the message I got was thatif I bought them and wore them on the street, I'd
probably get mugged.. or worse.. by someone wanting them for
free.

From the "it's more than protecting the source" department -
When the WaPo or NYT receive files/reports containing possible classified
information from people from within the White House, why aren't WaPo and NYT
executives criminally charged for printing such facts, and not reporting crimes
against America?

James Comey "testifying" in public is a
sham...and waste of taxpayer funds. We all know that Comey cannot disclose
security info and will utilize the "I cannot discuss this in public" option
whenever he's asked a pertinent question about national
security.

Mainscream media is pathetic! It blasts Trump over what
it believes without any evidence, yet yawned when Clinton gave China our rocket
technology which allowed China to build a nuclear able intercontinental
ballistic missile.

From the "I think Dusty held this L-E
"soundoff" back from the term of Obama" department - LIV's L-E "soundoff":
"Wouldn't it be nice "If our president advanced an agenda of health care, tax
reform, immigration, and infrastructure improvement (read jobs) instead of
examining, at taxpayers’ expense, an election he won, and quit impeding the
FBI?" -- Good grief.. if Obama had done the things in 8 years that TRumo as
done in 4 months, I'd have been praising Obama all
along.

Interesting...the King of Saudi Arabia met Trump on the
tarmac when Air Force 1 landed. The same king snubbed Obama just last year.
Guess the King of Saudi Arabia understands that Trump is not on either an
apology or "bowing" tour.

Online story: "Outraged Cincinnati cops
received an apology from the mayor of the Ohio city after his office
inadvertently issued a proclamation naming a day in honor of a cop killer. *
Mayor John Cranley issued the apology Thursday, saying that the proclamation
never should have been approved" -- One guess as to which party Cranley
belongs.

Last Tuesday, my bride and I were uplifted when the son
of the man who did our lawn work brought his dad by to see us.. He'd had a major
stroke last year and has lost a lot of his left-side abilities. WE were
overjoyed by the moment, and learned from the son he is expecting his first
grandchild soon. We congratulated him and his soon to be .. again...
great-grandfather. I told him.. grandchildren make us forgive our children for
everything we went through with them.. they both laughed boisterously in
agreement.

You know. our laws would have no standing without the
Constitution..or without respect for our nation's flag..We went to graduation at
the UGA School of Law Saturday, and could not understand why candidates for law
school graduation, people who become entitled to represent other people in our
courts/legal system, would ignore and disrespect the singing of our national
them. The Dean should have taken names and make then take American history
courses over the summer before they get their diplomas.

Online
headline/story: "Minnesota yearbook: Behead Trump * The 2017 edition of the
yearbook included a section titled, “Trump 2k17-2k20? How do you feel about
him?” And let’s just say I’m surprised the Secret Service hasn’t paid a courtesy
call to the campus. * “I would like to behead him,” one student declared. “I do
not like him.” * “I feel like Donald is very racist and sexist and doesn’t care
to give people a chance before knowing them,” another student lamented. * “I
don’t like the way he comes off, he seems really rude,” said yet another" -- You
know, a North Carolina school recalled it's Yearbook because one Senior used a
Trump quote, "Build the Wall" . Let's face it, children are not so much failing
in schools, liberal schools are failing our children!

HuffPOOPOO
story: "The father of former FBI Director James Comey has publicly blasted
President Trump, describing him as "nuts" and "really crazy." * According to the
Bergen Record, 86-year-old J. Brien Comey said in a recent interview, "I never
was crazy about Trump." -- "not crazy about Trump"? Oh.. and what would he have
about Obama, who should have fired Comey, or Hellary, who may have done
something worse to Comey if she;d been elected.. I don't fault Comey's dad for
being upset, but unlike Comey's dad, I fault his son, not Trump, for creating
the necessity for Trump to fire him.

SoapBox Moment: The
disintegration of brick&mortar stores is a consumer driven phenomena that
will eventually bite consumers on their backsides.. back in the 70s/80's
consumers sent retailers a harsh mesage.. they'd rather have cheaper prices
than dependable service. Stores learned that consumers felt that if it's not on
sale this week, it will be next week". Stores learned to buy more private label
(i.e. store brands) merchandise, mark it up higher to begin with, then cut the
price 2 weeks later to "retail" and call it a "SALE". As a result, brands we
trusted lost volume, and had to raise prices to cover volume losses. Eventually,
popular brands priced themselves out of mainstream appeal, and a lot are now
either "gone" or are bit-players. Now consumers are intrigued by feeling they
are paying less for online shopping (yet even when not having to pay for
state/city sales taxes, online merchants are learning to add more profit into
the shipping costs). Eventually, though, consumers will learn that fit, fabric
quality, and colors cannot be as exact online as shopping in person.. Now it's
"novel" to shop/return via online avenues, but it will become a "burden" as more
and more online purchases fail to come up to expectations. Unfortunately, the
stores consumers use to shop at may not be there in brick&mortar
anymore.

Mainscream media is now trying to promote the cost of
protecting Trump's family as being more than protecting Obama's family.. to
begin with, Trump's family is bigger.. but, what mainscream media won't
discuss/admit is that Trump's leadership will reduce the cost of overall taxes
to all American families and hat all American families are going to be a lot
better of with Trump in office versus Hellary continuing Obama's next
term.
From the "misinformed liberals squeal in spite of reality"
department - Online headline/story: "Trump’s first budget is coming, and the
spending cuts are severe * It looks like the Trump administration's first
comprehensive budget for the coming year will contain major spending increases
for defense and draconian cuts in domestic programs. * Details of the
president's more than $4 trillion fiscal 2018 budget plan set for release on
Tuesday began leaking out late last week. * According to an Office of Management
and Budget fiscal 2018 budget plan spreadsheet obtained by Third Way on Friday,
the administration will seek to eliminate the Social Service Block Grant, a $2
billion program that helps help low-income families; zero out $3 billion of
heating assistance for the poor * The centerpiece of the budget will be Trump's
call for a $54 billion increase in defense spending next year as a major down
payment on the president's vow to expand and modernize the military and U.S.
nuclear defenses. * The money would go in part to increase troop strength by
56,000, * Experts say Trump's proposed 2018 total defense baseline of $603
Billion * Trump will request a total of $2.6 billion for border security,
according to The New York Times, with most of that money going towards materials
and planning to begin building a wall along the border with Mexico and related
work that experts say could cost as much as $26 billion before it is completed."
-- The domestic cut numbers look big, but in reality. most of those cuts pay
salaries for political liberals...Let's parse this so liberals will actually see
what's going on.. Let's take the $5,000,000,000.00 for Social Service Block
Grant for the "poor".. If you deduct the norm for administrative and operational
costs of 78%, then $3,900,000,000 is spent leaving $1,100,000,000.. if "ONLY"
10 Million "poor" apply, then those 10,000,000 "poor" would get but $110.00 per
person. Let's take the military budget next.. adding $54 Billion comes to about
$180.00 per American citizen for the best defense in the world.. and the
$2,600,000,000 for more border security come to about $87.00 per American
citizen.. and what that will do is put a severe dent in drug trafficking and
lost jobs for American citizens which benefit ALL American citizens.. ESPECIALLY
the poor.

Oh! Anybody heard anything about what's happening with

Friday, I posted my assessment about the
future of a grassroots movement on the CSU campus to set up a "food bank" for
feeding college students,, All I can say today is the Reagan was right on the
money when he said, "“It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just
that they know so many things that aren't so.”..I drew up the highway for such a
plan, and libs stepped out into the traffic and became the bugs on the fabled
"windshield/bug" analogy. To start with, such a movement would be considered a
"charity", and unless it's a 501 (c) 3 approved one, no donations are deductible
and no 501 (c) 3 charitable foundations can donate to such.. Next, where do
"they" put a HQ and storage unit for such? CSU could hardly do so for an
"unofficial group". Next, who.where do you send donations.. CSU can't take such
for an "unofficial group". Next. Who decides which students are more deserving
than others; there are 8,000 +/- students at CSU. Next, with 8,000 students in
the same boat, at $10.00 per student, that $80,000 per month, close to
$1,000,000 in 12 months., Next, who is going to be accountable for distribution,
accountability, and report such to IRS? Next, who is going to watch over the
administrative group to make sure they are accountable? Next.. CSU takes it
over, and administrative costs are part of the program, soon, administrative
costs exceed the donations? Next, CSU would add a mandatory funding fee to the
8,000 students parents who are already paying for their children to go to CSU
plus feeding them. Yes liberals, Reagan was right.. especially about you being
ignorant of real world 101 FACTS.

Center for a graduation site?

From the "suspicions confirmed..
current jury system is a major part of the problem " department - L-E
headline/story: "Facebook used to ID man who took laptop at gunpoint * The jury
got stuck during deliberations, so Kendrick and Assistant District Attorney
Chris Williams made a deal for Moss to plead guilty to robbery and being a
convicted felon with a firearm" -- You know, when a defense lawyer let's his
client take a plea bargain deal of "robbery and being a convicted felon with a
firearm" while the jury is out and stuck on a decision, you have to ask what
else the criminal is guilty of that the defense lawyer didn't want to come
out..Of course, the important thing is why the jury was stuck when the criminal
is still eager to admit to robbery and felony possession of a
gun...

L-E story: "The
Chinese government systematically dismantled CIA spying operations in the
country starting in 2010, killing or imprisoning more than a dozen sources over
two years and crippling intelligence gathering there for years afterward *
Current and former U.S. officials described the intelligence breach as one of
the worst in decades * Years later, that debate remains unresolved. * But there
was no disagreement about the damage. From the final weeks of 2010 through the
end of 2012, according to former U.S. officials, the Chinese killed at least a
dozen of the CIA’s sources. According to three of the officials, one was shot in
front of his colleagues in the courtyard of a government building – a message to
others who might have been working for the CIA. " -- Hmm.. right in the middle
of Obama's first term and Hellary's stint as Secetary of State.. Hmmm.. right in
the middle of Hellary's using an unprotected server in her home, and having
Abedin and her husband, Weiner, exchanging classified e-mails from the State
Department. Hmmm.. hey, MAINSCREAM MEDIA, here's the story you should be in the
middle of!

L-E headline/story: "Disruptive airline passenger
duct-taped to his seat * Before he even boarded the plane, Anil Uskanil, a
Turkish national, had been arrested by police at Los Angeles International
Airport after a worker allegedly spotted him walking through a security door
leading from the terminal to an airfield ramp shortly before 3 a.m Friday. * He
was released after being charged with a misdemeanor, police said. The
25-year-old had been drinking, airport police explained in a statement, but
wasn’t drunk. * “He was very quiet, moving very sluggish,” passenger Grant
Arakelian said, told the Associated Press. “He was trying to approach the cabin,
like where the captain is.” * A flight attendant ran down the aisle with a
beverage cart, using it to block Uskanil from the front of the plane. * “She
jammed the cart in the doorway and she just said, ‘You’re not coming in here,’ ”
passenger Lee Lorenzen told AP." -- Let me get this right.. a Turkish
nationalist was captured by TSA AFTER he had breeched a Security Door, but was
still allowed to get on an airplane? I'm willing to bet, I'd still be waiting in
a holding cell this morning trying to make my one phone call.. but something
else is confirmed.. the use of the "drink cart" to block the (_*_) from getting

mutter "you're not getting by me and my drink cart to get to the restrooms,
buddy"

Online headline: "Notre Dame grads walk out during Mike

mailing address, I believe I;d mark of the mailing tube, "not at this address"
