From the "perhaps mainscream media should look at the log in its eye more closely" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: "President Trump's biggest failures of his first 100 days" -- Hmmm.. Huff POOPOO says Trump failures are: 1 - Repeal of OObamaCRAP.. hmmm-- still on the table; 2 - Pull out of NAFTA... hmmm..both Canada and Mexico are willing..if not eager.. to negotiate a new treaty; 3 - Label China a currency manipulator.. hmmm..apparently China has altered its practices it used when Obama was in office; 4 - Establish a travel ban on Muslims entering the US... hmmm, other than it was a ban on people, not their religion, who lived in dysfunctionally  governed countries, current immigration quotas are in place while the now functional US Supreme Court waits to shred lower court justices' contrary-to-Constitution decisions; and 5 - Fund the border wall.. which mainscream media still asserts is to only stop people crossing illegally, while informed people realize that it's primarily to stop illicit drugs, chemicals, and criminals/jihadists from having easy access.. is still on the table, and Congress has increased the border patrol budget by $1.5 BILLION, and daily crossing are down considerably since Trump has rescinded Obama Executive Orders that tied law enforcement's  hands.

On the other hand, the only real "failure" I see in Trumps's first few months in office is Hellary and Bill are not in prison.. but then again, their "freedom" to have to live together and face their friends is a bitter sentence.. that and having to dodge 3rd World despots who are looking for Foundation refunds since Hellary and Bill did not deliver access to the White House.... and they both have to wonder when  if and when "the other shoe will  drop".

Remember yesterday when I posted that Yale graduate students (who get a $30K stipend, free tuition/boarding, and free healthcare) were staging a "hunger strike" to pressure the administration into granting them better union benefits? Well, it turns out that the hunger strike is "symbolic" and protesters can leave and get food when they can no longer go on. (next meal?). As Dr Seuss might pontificate: "Oh the sacrifices they will make".....NOT!

Online headline: "Michael Moore to skewer Trump in Broadway debut 'Terms of My Surrender'" -- Good grief..Michael Moore looks more like the one that should be "skewered' and put over a BBQ pit.. but I'm not going to worry about anything Michael Moore produces as it will only be seen by other liberals, and there weren't enough of them willing to vote Hellary into office.

Oh, knowing how much Broadway tickets cost, and only rich liberals will pay that much, is Michael Moore going to give away free tickets so the poor and deprived can watch it too?

Trintellix..if there was ever a drug that epitomizes overpriced drugs it's Trintellix...whether 10 MG or 20 MG dosage, 30 pills cost the same. If you're taking the 10 MG version, get your doctor to prescribe the 20 MG dose, then split the pills and double you days..

What is it about liberals that feel the only purpose of building a wall on our Southern border is to block Mexican immigrants from coming into America? Besides the fact that law abiding Mexican immigrants have a legal way to enter the USA, we need a better way to stop the terrorists, the criminal elements, the drugs and jihadist chemicals from having easy access to our country.

Online headline: "President Trump's NRA Visit To Atlanta Sparks Protests"-- Good grief.. if Trump BREATHES, it sparks protest from the mainscream media and masked leftist Democrat protesters..!

Online story: H****d W***r is what’s known as a navigator. * He has been helping people choose the right health insurance plan since 2013, when the Affordable Care Act went into effect. Working out of the Athens Neighborhood Health Center, he estimates that he has steered about 1,400 people through the complexities of the federal health insurance exchange for Georgia. *Today, as congressional Republicans look to repeal the 2010 health care law and replace with it a different plan, W***r and other navigators wonder if they’ll have jobs a year from now." -- "OObamaCRAP "navigator"? Good grief.. That's not a job.. that was another expense piled onto the taxpayers back and increased healthcare costs! Imagine if you worked in a private business and in 4-plus years, you "helped" only 1,400 people who shouldn't have even NEEDED your help, These "navigators" shouldn't be worried about keeping their jobs, they should be grateful they could be off the unemployment lists. What they should be worrying about is explaining to a future employer is exactly what they were doing fpr the past 4 years when they apply for a private sector job.

Online story: "The day after President Donald Trump visited Atlanta to address the NRA’s national convention, former President Bill Clinton came to town. * they had very different itineraries *  Clinton delivered the keynote address at Emory University School of Law’s Centennial Gala. Georgia’s former U.S. Sen. Sam Nunn (an Emory alum) received the school’s Centennial Lifetime Achievement Award" -- Good grief.. what hypocrisy.. Emory paying a womanizing scoundrel to speak on a women's rights campus!

L-E headline: "PEACHTREE MALL MURDER TRIAL * Defense seeks mistrial in case after juror replaced" -- Excuse me, but how does this "move" really help with justice being served? I know defense lawyers are supposed to "defend" their clients to the best of their ability, but..,BUT since the evidence (especially the videos and 10 bullet wounds)  is still the same, then why would the lawyers think.. "feel" justice can't be served?

A "perspective" L-E "soundoff": "Four criminals executed by Arkansas in eight days! Wow, I can see how that's such big news. So how many Arkansas citizens were executed by criminals during those eight days?" -- Hmmm... let's see how that would compare in Chicago from the first 120 days of 2017.. There have been 15 8-day periods. and there have been 193 homicides.. so almost 9 people have been killed on the streets of Chicago EACH of the last 15 8-day periods, and law enforcement have only killed 4 street thugs so that equates to about  1 "death sentence" per 4 8-day periods.. In other words, there aren't even enough murders in Arkansas for any news service to compile a running total, while Chicago doesn't ALLOW juries/judges to give the death sentence anymore.. I'd say, Arkansas is a safer state because of what pends over a felonious murder's head for a crime.

L-E headline: "CRIME * ‘Sunny’ Shah hasn’t reported to prison. Reasons remain a secret
I, too, am interested in this story, but having experienced the unwarranted,  childish, and politically biased writings of Chuck Williams, I'd have to say that this story by him is also more political and vindictive than informative for the public. Chuck can't resist the extra twist of his knife in Darr's back. On the other hand, I hope the facts about WHY Shah still walks among us come forward... fast!.

Tonight Page 1 Awards will be presented.. we cannot highlight the positives our youth exhibit enough, but we can wonder why the L-E will not accept outside scholarship awards to a category winner. Our family has made overtures to 3 or 4 different publishing regimes at the L-E to fund an annual scholarship to the selectee of the Citizenship/Community Service. Seniors are all required to conduct Senior Projects, and most of the young leaders are heavily involved with other community endeavors, and  we thought such deserves more recognition.. Needless to say, the L-E has turned down all such requests.

From the "let's not keep score so the children won't get their feelings hurt" department - L-E headline/story" "HIGH SCHOOL GOLF * Glenwood boys take second place at AISA state tournament * The Glenwood Gators finished the tournament with a team score of 630, two strokes better than third-place John T. Morgan Academy." -- While congratulations are in store, some parsing of this "report" needs to be discussed: Hmmm.. now, buried deep into the story comes the fact: "Lee-Scott Academy ultimately won the tournament in runaway fashion, giving the team its sixth consecutive state title" Needless to say, the L-E did not publish the Lee-Scott score or margin of victory,, but I guess it's "OK" (in L-E speak) if the public or Glenwood players don't need to know how much more practice they need to put in to be competitive.. The kids LOSE because adults won't allow them to know what their goals need to be.

From the "let's obliterate reality" department -- L-E story: " A request by lawyers for ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez to dismiss his murder conviction would reward his “conscious, deliberate and voluntary” act of taking his own life, prosecutors argued Monday." -- Good grief.. everyone knows what's driving this move.. lawyers, I guess for Hernandez's family, would like to have the charges/convictions removed so one day Hernandez could be nominated to the NFL Hall of Fame without these "blemishes" getting in the way.
