From the "mainscream media has no clue about reality" department - Online headline: "Anthem won't participate in individual health insurance exchanges in Ohio in 2018, marking a nightmare scenario for Obamacare" -- Good grief.. OObamaCRAP has been a nightmare scenario since Pelosi voted for it without reading it.. aside from that, OObamaCRAP won't exist in 2018...

---
Online headline: "Michelle Obama calls out President Donald Trump in her WWDC chat"  -- "WWDC"? Worry Wart Democrat Curmudgeon?

---
Online story: "LUCCA Italy, April 11 (Reuters) - Russia should abandon its support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad after his repeated use of chemical weapons and join the United States to map out a peaceful future for Syria, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Tuesday." -- Hmmm.. and when was it Obama drew his "line in the sand"... 2012?  Hmm.. no matter what mainscream media and Democrats shout, the last 5 years of Syria's ASSwad are the real legacy of Obama.

---
From the "isn't watching liberalism self-destruct neat" department - Online headline: "Al Franken backs out of Bill Maher show in wake of n-word backlash" -- "In wake of the n-word backlash"? Hmmm.. somebody must have told Franken that Maher Used "nerd" or "nitwit"...

---
Hmmm.. you have to wonder if KaeperPRICK has sent Kay-thy Griffin a sympathy card...

---
Stacey Adams has picked up a major sponsor of her candidacy as the Democratic Party nominee for a run for the governorship of Georgia in 2018 George Soros' son, Alexander.. in fact, Alexander is throwing a fund raising bash at his house, and for $6,600.00 to $10,000.00, he will even give you the address to the party.. his home.. Hey, he lives in New York.. wonder if he'll run for GA's District 6 Congressional Seat on 2018 when Ossoff loses?

Online headline/story: "State of Georgia sees strong tax collections in May, surplus likely * Overall tax collections were up 10.3 percent in May, Gov. Nathan Deal announced Monday. * Through 11 months of the fiscal year, they are ahead of last year by 4.7 percent, or almost $900 million. * The state saw a big increase in individual income tax collections (17.6 percent) and corporate income tax collections (23.2 percent). Corporate tax collections have been in the tank for several months. *  In addition, net sales tax collections improved 3.5 percent over May 2016." -- Hmmm... makes Columbus Mayor "Queen TT" Tom-LYING-son's budget proposal based on lower sales tax revenues dictating her push for higher property taxes seem very revealing.. revealing of her ineptitude at running  Columbus..

From a fellow BCer - If you need something... just one thing... to pass along to liberal Trump bashers and Hellary supporters.. this is it..: https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4351026/clinton-1995-immigration-sotu
PS - If you know someone in England or France or Germany, send it to them as well.

From the "give a jihadist an inch, and he'll take a "smile" (attached to someone's head)" department - Online headline: "London Mayor Khan suggests calling off Trump state visit to Britain" -- "suggests"? Is that like a Godfather offer? Hmmm.. Muslims must have a different line of succession after Queen Elizabeth passes... and it sounds like London Mayor Sadiq Khan may have eyes on speeding up the process.

L-E headline: "Judge sets date for Upatoi triple murder trial" -- Let's skip ahead.. while it's important to set the starting date of a trial (September 12th), in this heinous case, let's just start with the execution and location date (September 13th) on the steps of the courthouse.

L-E headline/story: "Annual state vehicle checkpoint operation moved from state line *  The Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety joined forces Tuesday with several area law enforcement agencies to run a sobriety checkpoint on Milgen Road in Columbus as part of the Hands Across the Border 2017 program. * The annual law enforcement vehicle checkpoint event called Hands Across the Border should have been renamed Tuesday to “Hands Across Milgen Road." -- Good grief.. if it's a sobriety check that's the stimulus, then check points should be set up leading out of uptown in all directions between %:00 PM and 3:00 AM the next morning..it was a cop-out to change the format..

---
L-E headline: "CRIME AND COURTS * Suspect in police chase allegedly said he didn’t know SUV was stolen" -- Yeah, right.. they were on their way to choir practice..

---
Did you see the Columbus Water Works report on it's 2016 testing? The key phrase was, "Does it meet standards"... not one mention of whether the "standards" are safe, nor if the "standards" of the testing method are foolproof.. Having seen other "standards" of government efficiency.. "stab[nards" is not a very reassuring word.. especially when such "standards" were probably approved by Mayor Tom-LYING-son

---
L-E headline: "As London attackers are ID’d, many wonder how they eluded authorities" -- Good grief.. in this country, one only has to remember the "Boston Bomber Brothers" or 9.11.01

Hockey has a long way to go to become mainstream  and not just because the "Snakes" just shut down. Earlier this week there was a headline touting the Hockey game between the Penguins and Predators.. I had a clue that the Penguins were from Pittsburgh, but absolutely no idea where the Predators are from.. not even what country..

Thomas Orr has a pertinent "letter" printed in the L-E today:

"I was pleasantly surprised when driving on 13th Street between 13th Avenue and 5th Avenue. Gone are the innumerable orange cones blocking two lanes of traffic. I hope that good sense prevailed and that these lanes are open to vehicular traffic once again.

I am sure many will recall that some years ago, the 13th Street viaduct was widened from four lanes to six lanes. This was a major undertaking at considerable expense as the bridge had to be widened. 13th Street is a heavily travelled road and closing two lanes to cars and trucks in order to provide a pedestrian space was an utterly absurd idea, one that I hope has been relegated to the dust bin.

On a sad note, the Planning Department of the Columbus Consolidated government has effectively ruined Linwood Boulevard between 10th Avenue and 5th Avenue. Traffic lanes have been narrowed significantly and a wide pedestrian walk has been created for the hundreds of people expected to walk down Linwood Boulevard. It looks like a barren, tasteless space created by a uninspired bureaucrat. Only in Columbus!"

-- I'm glad to see the orange cones on 13th gone.. and hope it means that we will not be subjected to Tom-LYING-son's whims again.. I was in the area 3 times during the PM rush hours during the "2-week test period, and what I remember was clogged, standstill traffic... and no bicycles using the lanes blocked off from cars. Orr's other observations are right on target as well.

On the opposite side of reality is a L-E "letter" from some John C. Lark:

"Short-sighted - The current occupant of the White House campaigned on the economy and getting more people to work in good jobs. The route to this objective has been laid out by dropping out of the Paris climate agreement. This move will reinforce the level of alienation that President Trump has cultivated so successfully in his brief term in office.

More importantly, this businessman appears to have ignored the projected $6 trillion market for clean energy equipment that will now be ceded to China." -- Good grief.. if China has been ceded the manufacturing of "clean energy equipment" it's simply because liberals have installed so many regulations that American manufacturers cannot make such equipment profitably...
