The addition brings the total number of states included in California's travel ban to eight, with Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee placed on the off-limits list earlier this year. * California's law, AB 1887, went into effect Jan. 1, 2017. It prohibits state-funded and state-sponsored travel to states with laws that authorize or require discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or same-sex couples." -- Great law... NOT! Stupid even, to begin with,,, but,, yes, BUT all bets.. and promises are off when a big payday is in store..

Online story: "A Nebraska Democratic Party official was removed from his post on Thursday after an audio recording surfaced of him saying he's “glad” House Majority Whip Steve Scalise got shot last week. * Phil Montag, now-former co-chair of the state party’s technology committee, was recorded saying he wishes Scalise, R-La., were “dead.” * “His whole job is to get people, convince Republicans to [expletive] kick people off [expletive] health care. I’m glad he got shot,” Montag said in the audio recording. “I wish he was [expletive] dead.” " -- The saddest thing is that this is only a CYA ploy for the Democrats.. he won't be shunned, he won't be really fired, he'll be back as soon as the Scalise is back on his feet.

From the "at least it's not the MCSD" department.. While the site "looks" like it is closed, a lot of "splaining" needs to be done about what's shown in these pics.. Dropping my beloved family member off for a couple of nights at his favorite "spa" (Northside Animal Hospital), I was faced with the following scenario.. Bluebird School Buses parked in the lot at the "Catwalk".. First I wondered if perhaps it was a field trip for some Sex Ed class, but it became more evident that Head Start in Troop County had placed these buses on view in an attempt to sell them. This raises more questions.. is the site allowed to be a "used bus" sales center?.. have any business license laws been broken/skirted in bringing out of county buses into Columbus to market? Regardless, it's still a pretty poor decision.

Jody Hice Wants to Carry a Gun Everywhere " -- You know.. at one time, my advice to him would have been, "just make good decisions, and you'll be safe".. but that no longer is true.. I'm not even thinking about the recent shooting of Congressman Scalise, either (though it does add more reason). Since Trump dropped his hat in the ring, Democratic Party tolerance for violence and hatred have escalated to the point Dems have no arguments left to assault the 2nd Amendment.

Good grief, then how about the "royal" nfamily vacating the palace and all get jobs.. Oh,, and be sue to leave "the people's" money and jewels.. and your desires.. where they belong!
