After showing a clip of a Kindergartner in a spelling bee with kids twice her age, a Fox & Friends anchor "sent" the camera over to the weather girl and asked her to spell "meteorologist".. She couldn't... is anybody surprised? Update,, the girl, now age 6, was just 5 years old when she qualified to compete in the bee in March, was reportedly disqualified from participating in the finals due to her performance on a written test... Good grief, I ran across some "letters" a I wrote to my mother who was in a TB hospital for two years in the early 50s, and I was advanced, but I can hardly dream of anything I wrote as being advanced enough to be entered into a written performance test. This girl should be celebrated.. Oh, if you hadn't aleady assumed such, she is home schooled.

I***** L****-G**** was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma and other injuries at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta * was traveling on Veterans Parkway south of 14th Street when the 2000 Ford Expedition he was driving steered from the right lane to the left and back to the right about 1:35 p.m. The SUV rotated about 270 degrees clockwise before the vehicle’s left bumper struck a traffic signal box before flipping completely. *  The SUV continued flipping over until it struck a message board sign in the Midas parking lot before stopping. L****-P****, who wasn’t using a seat belt, was hurled from the vehicle. *  The driver sustained severe head injuries before he was first transported to Midtown Medical Center in Columbus. He was transferred to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday." --  no seat belts...how about insurance or citizenship? and who pays for transport to Atlanta...and since Columbus Regional seemed capable of handling double-digit shooting victims at once,  why wasn't Columbus Regional able to handle this?

President Obama ordered , at a minimum... allowed.. departments that he controlled the authority, to listen in on opposing party officials prior to the 2016, and delay/thwart conservative groups' charitable status while sitting in the Oval Office having sworn to uphold, and protect the US from all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC... and mainscream media still yawns about this.

I'm a former smoker.. and wish everyone who currently smokes, would be former smokers, too.. but ... BUT what about our Constitution? Yesterday morning our CPD staged a trap on Bradley Park Drive to pinpoint driving-to-work drivers for "distracted driving". The set up between the J R Allen Parkway ramps and Starbucks/Chick-fil-A. Wrote 96 tickets at about $200.00 a pop.. I'm sure the City can use the $19,000+ dollars, but is Columbus any safer from drivers texting/pre-ordering from cellphone apps? Maybe confiscating the phones "for evidence" would be safer for all than just fining them.. Say having a one-week without a cellphone "sentence" for the first offense and 1 month for a second one might have a more sobering effect.. more so than $200.00 fine.

 

The incident also made the L-E editorial page: "As reported by senior writer Chuck Williams, Columbus Police issued almost 100 citations Thursday morning in the Bradley Park area alone. Among the distracted driving violations reported were texting, reading, applying makeup, checking Facebook — and, according to Maj. J.D. Hawk, one driver using a laptop." -- "applying makeup"? Did you know there is an actual word for this.. "farding".

So the Obama's just bought the home they were renting in Washington, DC for $8.1 Million.. hmmm that's nearly $3 Million more that it was listed for earlier in 2016.. Guess since it was owned by Bill Clinton's former Press Secretary, Joe Lockhart (Warren Buffet's secretary should be watching closely), it looks like the jump in value may be some sort of "hush money" to keep Lockhart from writing a Clinto expose now that Hellary is not in the White House. Of course, the Obama's still own their Chicago House (one we taxpayers fortiied), and we guess he may not be going back there to live ever.. I can think of over 4,200 reasons they won't.. over 4,200 people have been shot dead in Chicago since the Obama's left

You know.. the Obama's grew wealthy in the White House.. and a lot more wealthier than mainstream America did during his 8 years in office.
