The liberal purge continues..Matt Lauer was fired by NBC .. Now it seems that the "big question" is: Who can they get to replace Matt Lauer? Hmmm... in my book, eeny-WEENIE-miney-Moe.
---
From the "you know the mainscream media has carried its witch hunt purge too far" department - L-E headline: "Keillor fired, says he put his hand on a woman’s back" -- Garrison "Prairie Home Companion" Keillor? Man, if Minnesota demands a pound of flesh of Garrison Keillor, Minnesota Senator Franken will have to gain weight to pay off his debt.
---
After not-soon-enough-for-me-Ex-District 133- Representative John Pezold has publicly sided with Buzz Brockway of Lawrenceville over Columbus' own Senator Josh McKoon for the Republican nomination for GA's next Secretary of State position, I do believe the Muscogee County Republican Party now needs to make a statement of support for one or the other. There's a Republican Party meeting coming up in a few days.. ironically at a Pezold family owned hotel, which would be a good time  to announce its choice. Any delay is not showing support for Josh McKoon would be a slap in his face.
---
The recent surge in Congressional "hush payoffs" using taxfunded legislative office budget funds should trigger a forensic audit of ALL Congresspersons office budgets.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Joe Biden announces 'forum' for middle class conversations" -- Hmmm... guess Ex-Bleep Veep Biden's next move is to find out if he actually knows anyone in America's "middle class" to invite.
---
You know, with the spotlight in football to eliminate "targeting".. using one's helmet as a battering ram, a simple adjustment to the helmet would pretty much eliminate the urge of even the "dirtiest" of players.. A Taser Button in the crown of the helmet that zaps the wearer if the button is triggered by compression.
---
So a Yugoslav war criminal killed himself using poison following an appeal of his sentence. Hmmm.. maybe we could place such a "cocktail" in front of OUR death sentenced convictees as an option.
---
I tell you what, after seeing the huge influx of big rigs filling the I-states around Atlanta, and the number of catalogs delivered to our mailbox compared to last year, I think I can safely say, "America is BACK, Baby!" Go Trump!
---
Online headline: "Jay Z explains why he was unfaithful to Beyonce" -- Hmmm... in a word.. STUPIDITY!
---
From the 'bah humbug'" department - Online headline/story: "Neighbors petition to shut down family's Christmas display * A long-time Christmas lights display at a Fairfield home has neighbors running out of patience. * This neighborhood sees over 30,000 visitors during the holiday season, which causes parking problems. So, 45 residents of Sawyer Road, which connects to Roseville Terrace, have signed a petition. * The Halliwell family, who built the display to over 350,000 lights over 18 years, is also working to appease the neighbors. * The Halliwells don't charge admission but donations over the nearly two decades have totaled in the tens of thousands. All the money going to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Springfield." -- Guess we shouldn't be too surprised ..Massachusetts IS a Democrat "safe zone".. now, I hope a judge intervenes and makes all the petition signers pony up matching (or higher) donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital that will be eliminated if the site is closed down.

From the "you'd think they would learn" department - Went to a Walmart Neighborhood Market store near me and saw this as I entered the foyer. After the $7.5 Million dollar verdict for a customer in Phenix City breaking his foot standing on one, you'd think this could never happen again.. In fairness, the pallet was removed by time I finished shopping.. but....

---
From the "since when and sez who" department - John Bussey of the Wall Street Journal told Shep Smith on Fox he and mainscream media want the truth from the White House.... Huh? Why weren't they looking for it when Obama and Hellary's husband were in the White House. Of course, the real issue is mainscream media doesn't even know how to be truthful itself.
---
You know, if the Wall Street Journal's John Bussey wants the truth FROM the White House, then maybe Bussey should REPORT the truth from the White House...such as how much Trump has accomplished in 10 months.
---
Went to the Citizens Service Center yesterday...basically to drop off my 2017 property taxes. I figured there would be a "drop box"... I figured wrong..Was told that there were so many tax appealed properties that it was decided NOT to provide a "drop box". Hmmm, I wondered, why wasn't a "drop box" available for all who WEREN'T involved with an appeal. Common sense does not exist in government. I did decide to stand in line rather than go to the Post Office and mail it..cost me about a hour of time, but it was also inspiring..I'm fully inspired to stand in line for as long as it takes to vote to get different officials elected.
---
You know, as much an issue as Mayor Tom-LYING-son made about closing all the ingress doors at the Citizens Service Center because all citizens needed to be screened for weapons and she could only afford to provide security at one door, I was truly surprised that there was no screening being done yesterday...I made a comment to a CPD officer standing in line to pay his taxes, too, "You know. I would think the security screening index would be high today with do many frustrated citizens coming in to pay their taxes." He responded with a agreeing chuckle ... followed by a telling a sigh.

L-E story: "A 21-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a Curry Street shooting, Columbus police said. * The Muscogee County Coroner’s Office marks Tuesday night’s death as the 39th homicide in Columbus this year" -- Hmmm.. 39..and counting.. one more and we are tied with Oakland, CA with 20 people killed per 100,000 people as the 25th place City on most people killed list.
---------------------------------------
L-E headline/story: "MYANMAR CONTROVERSY * Pope can’t avoid criticism over Rohingya issue * “Nobody ever said Vatican diplomacy is infallible,” the Vatican spokesman, Greg Burke, said at a news briefing here Wednesday evening. He said that no one in the Vatican had second-guessed the pope’s decision to avoid mentioning the Rohingya or considered pulling the plug on the visit, which even the pope’s supporters consider a tactical blunder for a usually politically surefooted pontiff. * “He is not afraid of minefields,” Burke said, bristling at the notion that the trip had damaged the moral authority that is the pope’s most powerful diplomatic asset." -- Once again.. Francis re-earns his title of POOP Francis.
---
L-E headline/story: "Muscogee County 2018 tax digest could be in jeopardy * Muscogee County tax assessors’ plans to extend a contract with Tyler Technologies to help with a backlog resulting from unprecedented tax appeals were stalled Tuesday when four Columbus councilors voted against the proposal. * Council voted 5 to 4 in favor of the addendum, but the vote was inconclusive because one more vote was needed. Those voting in favor were Councilors Skip Henderson, Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson, Jerry “Pops” Barnes, Mike Baker and Mayor Pro “Tem” Evelyn Turner-Pugh. Those opposed were Councilors Glenn Davis, Judy Thomas, Gary Allen and Garrett Walker. Councilor Bruce Huff was absent when the vote was taken. * Prior to the vote, City Manager Isaiah Hugley told Council extra help was needed in the Tax Assessor’s Office because all available resources had been directed toward reviewing appeals over the last four months. He reminded councilors of a presentation made by Deputy Chief Appraiser John Williams at a previous meeting notifying them of the situation." -- Hmmm.. you know.. this would be an issue had the Board of Tax Assessors SIMPLY decided to revert to the 2016 values and initiate the new ones (after all appeals had been addressed/dealt with) beginning in 2018. The furor and frustrations could have been dealt with more adequately.

While I appreciate the forum the L-E offers to print citizens views, the L-E should not "edit" out "content" from them. The letter printed in today's L-E concerning John Pezold had what I consider a vital point "edited out".. The letter I wrote included this sentence " Last year, he co-lead the onslaught of our Constitutionally upheld Tax Freeze with Mayor Tomlinson. " following the first sentence.
Dilly Dilly L-E!
Here is the complete letter submitted to the L-E:

"Once again.. we still have another year of John Pezold's personal interests to live with as the GA House District 133 Representative.. I hope we survive. Last year, he co-lead the onslaught of our Constitutionally upheld Tax Freeze with Mayor Tomlinson. This year, he's decided to back Buzz Brockway for GA Secretary of State in spite of Columbus' own Josh McKoon running for the same post. Pezold's "excuse" is that he made a promise BEFORE he knew McKoon would join in running for the position. I ask.. does this not reek of what "backroom political promises" have done over the years? The Republicans do need to get their candidate elected as the Secretary of State's office is in control of keeping our voting lists "fraud free". Buzz Brockway may be a very good choice..and if he should get the call, I'll probably vote for him.. (I'll go so far as to promise now to send his campaign a donation should he win the primary).. but.. winning is the key for GA's future, and if Brockway wins, there is little chance that Columbus's Democrat leaning voter populace will help. Now, if Josh McKoon is the Republican choice, Columbus and Georgia both win.. (and I cannot name another Columbus patron who has held a GA state-wide office since I started voting in 1965) Having the Secretary of State from Columbus will be a plum for us.. and.. if Josh McKoon is the Republican choice, even the L-E will have to consider that what's best is having a local citizen in office rather than endorsing whomever the Democrats nominate. I have one question to ask Pezold.. what did he get in return for making a promise to support Brockway.. surely Brockway would understand if he broke away to support Josh McKoon. And I'm pretty sure if an elected Representative of of Brockway's hometown of Lawrenceville were in the same predicament because he/she committed to an out-of-towner before knowing about Brockway's intentions, the other candidate would understand.

With all the exposures of Congressional dalliances and taxpayer  funded payoffs/hush money, I think it's time for President Trump yo order 5-year forensic audits of EVERY Representative  and Senators  office budgets, and if anything is questionable in any budget, the extend the audit to every year they have served.
---
If you want to point a finger at any one person for Kim Jong Ooooops having ICBM missiles, point it directly at former president Slick Willie Clinton.. Remember Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie.. and Chinagate? Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie was a restaurant owner in Little Rock, and raised some $600,000.00 for the DNC for Clinton's re-election from Chinese sources..How about Johnny Chung... partner with Liu Chaoying who was a Lt. Colonel in the People’s Liberation Army... another $401,000.00 to the DNC for Clinton.. ($35K directly from the Chinese government and $366K from Chung). and how about John Huang.. Huang would serve as a fundraiser for Clinton’s 1992 campaign. He became an expert in fundraising among different Asian-American communities. In late 1993, Clinton appointed Huang to serve as deputy assistant secretary for international economic affairs at the Commerce Department. Huang got a severance package of $750,000 from the Lippo Group (below). In 1995, Clinton recommended him to work at the DNC. In 1996, approximately $1 million in donations to the Democrats were from people with close ties to the Lippo Group. One of them was Hashim Ning who was a business partner with the Riady family. Hashim sent $500,000 to his daughter Soraya and his son-in-law Arief Wiriadinata. From November 1995 to July 1996, they donated $450,000 to the DNC. In 1996, John Huang would raise $3.4 million for the Democratic Party. More than half of this money was returned because some of these donations were foreign. There were several more such "contributors", but let's move on to 1999... As president, Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China. “One of the key technological breaks China received, without having to spy to get it, was the deliverance of supercomputers once banned from export for security reasons,” writes Horowitz. * “Supercomputers underpin the technology of nuclear and missile warfare, and not only for firing and controlling the missiles. A supercomputer can simulate a nuclear test and is thus crucial to the development of nuclear warheads." -- This info was from WaPo, NYT and Capital Research Center articles (
https://spectator.org/chinagate-and-the-clintons/
&
http://www.nytimes.com/1999/05/11/world/clinton-approves-technology-transfer-to-china.html

). China, of course was..is a North Korea ally… until recently since Trump has stepped in..

Online headline: "Woman tried to dupe Washington Post with fake story" -- Good grief.. why should anyone make such an effort when the WaPo does so often and willingly?
---
Since it's been in the news recently, I'm going to recall a comment I made back in March of 2014 about Mayor Tom-LYING-son's "high speed train": "Mayor Tomlinson's claim of a 60 minute ride to the Atlanta airport now includes a stop in Newnan for passenger pick up. * Not only does a planned stop shoot holes in her "60 minute" claim, it also pretty much reveals that there will not be enough Columbus passengers going to-fro Atlanta to justify a high speed rail to be built here.. Newnan will probably have more passenger interest than Columbus to begin with as it's a "bedroom community" of Atlanta. So, if most passengers on the return trips get off in Newnan, that would mean ongoing passengers loads to Columbus would me minimal" .. and it doesn't appear that anything has changed in the last 3-and-a-half years...other than it looks like the "60 Minutes" has changed to about "71 minutes"

You know.. now that the "covers have been thrown back" in Congress and Hollywood exposing the sexual predators.. maybe now would be a good time to go after Roman Polanski...with earnest effort.
---
Online story: "Linda Tripp -- who helped bring President Bill Clinton's relationship with Monica Lewinsky to light -- has come forward with new allegations of sexual misconduct against the former president. *Before being sent to the Pentagon, the former White House staffer alleges the housekeeping staff were afraid to bend over in front of the President in fear of his supposedly lewd impulses." -- And we now know Clinton's "lewd impulses" were far from "supposed"..
---
I touched on it yesterday, but after thinking more about it more, why is the MCSD "hush hush" on the 3 possible locations on the CHS campus for building the new "wrestling/weight, and later added, cheerleader practice room? You would think that the MCSD administration would welcome input from the CHS staff as to what effect such location would have.. good and bad.

From the "is there any illegal drug that mainscream media won't try to protect" department - Online headline/story: "U.S. Coast Guard reportedly turning boats into floating prisons for drug smugglers * Seth Freed Wessler reported on this for the New York Times and told PRI that, when these drug smugglers are captured, they are taken aboard and sometimes chained to the deck until they can be transported to the U.S. for trial. * However, this waiting period on board can last weeks or even months and the coast guard can do this under the caveat that the smugglers aren't really under arrest until they reach U.S. shores. * Wessler says that, because of transport delays, the suspected drug smugglers are being carted around for an average of 18 days." -- Good grief.. when the Coast Guard ship is deployed "on mission", it prepares for a specific length of time before it returns to base.. the Coast Guard has no reason to return every time it picks up one drug smuggler as leaving it's assigned area of patrol every time it catches one would allow 2 or more other drug smugglers to get through without any Coast Guard ships being in that area.
-------------------------------------
I listened in to the last MCSD meeting portion on SPLOST project construction.. One thing really blew my mind is when the head of construction commented to questions about adding theater lighting to the Hardaway stage/auditorium improvements.. The chair asked if he knew the cost of such and whether or not it would come back to the MCSB for approval.. The speaker said, he hoped it would not come back, but he wouldn't know whether it could be done until the drawings were presented to the contractor, and the contractor came back with a GUARANTEED maximum price for the already approved construction.. Good grief.. if someone asked me to give a quote for the MAXIMUM I could ever get in payment, my "quote" would be as high as I could make it and still be under the MAXIMUM approved project costs because I'd know I had the job, and would be dealing with government people breathing over my shoulder. How about giving the drawings to three (or more) firms and see how LOW they will do the job for.

Online headline: "Singer Tina Turner: “This Thanksgiving Is The First Time in 8 Years That I am Thankful For Our President, God Bless Him And His Supporters.” -- You know.. UpChuck Schmoozer is the epitome of the Washington swamp creatures. When he has a chance and sit down with Trump to talk about an economy-boosting-middle-class-tax-cut, Schmoozer opts out to rant from the floor of the out-of-session Senate. And then he's more concerned about spending more on DACA and OObamaCRAP than putting money in Americans' pockets.
---
Speaking of UpChuck Schmoozer.. he and Queen Pelosi decided not to attend the Congressional leaders meeting with President Trump at the White House yesterday..Trump made sure media knew it, too.. he had empty chairs on either side of him with their names in front of them.. Reminds me of another "empty chair debate".. the Eastwood-Obama one.. How can the Democrat Congressional members allow Schmoozer and Pelosi to continue their positions of "leadership".. are the other Democrats like the lemming the Pied Piper sent over the cliff?
---
Oh.. and how canSen UpChuck Schmoozer talk about a bipartisan tax bill when he says there is nothing of value in it that the Republicans have proposed, while skipping the opportunity to express his thoughts and ideas.. My guess is that the only thoughts and ideas Schmoozer has are one that protect the deductions his wealthy New York donors get.
---
Good grief..Senator UpChuck Schmoozer says he can't vote for a tax bill that may change after variables change. Can Schmoozer name any bill he's ever voted for that accomplished good things for the future of America?

Soapbox Moment: Once again.. we still have another year of John Pezold's personal interests to live with as the GA House District 133 Representative.. I hope we survive. Well the FBS rankings are out.. Clemson, Auburn, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin in the Top 4 slots with Alabama 5th and UGA 6th (and 7th Miami and 8th Ohio State being coached by rather recent ex-SEC head coaches) Wow.. six of the top 8 teams are either SEC teams or coached by SEC tempered coaches.. Now.. what happens if .. when.. UGA beats Auburn in the SEC Championship.. will Auburn, which played 3 number 1 ranked teams this year *(winning 2 in the last 3 weeks) be bumped out, and will number 5 Alabama move in or will UGA jump Alabama. Maybe the FBS should demand that every conference winner must have played at least one winning-record SEC team to be considered for a Top 4 position for the Championship series.

From the "once again, it's our jury system that fails justice. not law enforcement or DAs" department - Online headline/story: "US jury acquits accused Benghazi attack organizer of most serious charges * A U.S. jury on Tuesday acquitted accused Islamic militant Ahmed Abu Khatallah of the most serious charges he faced in connection with a 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. * The jury in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia found Khatallah guilty on only four of the 18 counts he faced and acquitted him on murder and other charges, according to the Justice Department. * He was convicted on one count of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, one count of providing material support to terrorists, one count of maliciously destroying property and one count of using and carrying a semiautomatic weapon during a violent crime, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia." -- How can a person be convicted of providing "material support to terrorists" and "carrying a semiautomatic weapon during a violent crime" and not be guilty of murders committed during that crime? Reminds me of a recent local Columbus, GA jury acquittal of gang members who plotted the death of another, and the jury cleared them of "Felony Gang Activity".. presumably because the jury had to feel that it must be "normal gang activity".

L-E headline: "MCSD has innovative ways to solve driver shortage" -- Hmmm... a headline I'd rather see is "MCSD has ways. innovative or not, to solve education problems".

Local question: Another question needs to be asked.. when "Together 2017's Columbus Regional is absorbed by Atlanta's Piedmont Hospital, will Piedmont even consider Columbus' charity work?

First an apology and restatement of facts.. Yesterday I stated that GA Power Company does not pay ant property taxes.. I was wrong, I looked at the Muscogee County Tax Database info, which I saw a Class designation of "U2 - operating utility" and looked at the tax profile of the 1 parcel that did not show any taxes billed or paid. I got  better information from readers which I will restate now.. GA Power Company did pay some $3,046,000.. +/- in property taxes for 2017.. while substantial, if the total value was billed just at the rate residences are billed, the total due would have been about $5,098,500.00 +/- making GA Power's effective property tax rate some 40% LESS.. that's right, FORTY PERCENT LESS than what it's customers pay.. that doesn't seem too fair. In addition, GA Power does pay the City "franchise fees" ,, sorta a business fee/license.. This year it's $10,650,000.00... but in next years budget projection, GA Power's franchise fee is going DOWN 6.10% to $10,000,000.00.. How can that be? Especially when two other power utility companies, Flint Electric and Diverse Power's franchise fees for next year are being raise 16.67% and 7.89%? While I should have done better research for yesterday, corrected details do not enhance GA Power's image in Columbus.
---
Local concern: As of yesterday, I left the Concerned Citizens of Columbus Forum on FaceBook. The administrator "banned" me for 24 hours for using profanity.. I admit it.. I did get rather PO'd when an oft antagonistic contributor suggested I didn't see his biased views because "It was when people like you wore sheets and road (sic) around in pickup trucks trying to stop people from getting and (sic) education, based on the color of their skin." I responded with what I still believe was a deserved and warranted "You Asshole". Will continue my posts elsewhere.
---
Not-soon-enough-for-me-Ex-District 133-Rep John Pezold keeps proving his disdain for Columbus.. Not only did he join in with Mayor Tom-LYING-son to try and remove our property tax protection, now he's campaign for BUZZ (you gotta laugh at politician named BUZZ) Lightyear.. uh.. Brockway for GA Secretary of State. It would be much more beneficial if he supported Columbus' own Josh McKoon for that job. You know, Josh McKoon, the man who Republicans in the GA House removed the Ethics Committee he headed because Josh was TOO ETHICAL! I can only see good things for Columbus if we have one of our own as a statewide elected officer! Too bad Pezold doesn't see this... or maybe he does, but like his argument for raising our property taxes, maybe he just feels he wants to vote for something bad for Columbus...again. And in true Democrat form, will change the conversation whenever he doesn't want to address the facts.
---
From the "another novice who doesn't understand the Democratic Party Manifesto" department - Online headline/story: "John Kelly's former top aide plans to launch a write-in campaign in Alabama against Roy Moore * Lee Busby, a 60-year-old retired Marine colonel from Tuscaloosa, told The Washington Post that he saw a route for a centrist candidate to win the seat being contested by Democratic candidate Doug Jones and Republican candidate Roy Moore * "I think you can flip this thing," he said. "If this were a military operation, the left flank and the right flank are heavily guarded. I think that gives you an opportunity to run straight up the middle." * Busby believes both Jones and Moore are not qualified for the office and that while he wasn't certain of the truth of the accusations against Moore, they had "created enough distaste in my mind." Republicans have resisted a write-in campaign, believing it could split the GOP vote and help Jones, but Busby told The Post he thought he could attract supporters of both Moore and Jones." -- I'm glad Col Busby is retired.. he doesn't understand that Democrats will not retreat from the ballot just because their candidate is not qualified..and Democrats will never "not vote" for their own.

Pelosi says Conyers deserves "due process"...I agree...as does Franken, the Clintons, Roy Moore...even Harvey Weinstein, too.
---
In what seems like a turnabout situation, we now are seeing and hearing Democrat spinmeisters pointing  at some of the Democrats to step down  from their pedestals... wait... don't be sucked in to it... it's simply  a  campaign strategy to get old school Dems out and open up primaries for even more liberal younger candidates
---
Franken says the allegations are embarrassing to him...hmmmm,  well, Franken has been an embarrassment ever since the title was given to him.

Guess the   NFL will continue to ignore the obvious way to get fans back, so its trying time proven practices used by MLB, NHL, and the WWE....bench clearing brawls.

Online headline/story: "Mulvaney settles in at nation’s top consumer watchdog agency * Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney promised big changes to the nation's top consumer watchdog agency Monday, but that it would "stay open" for now.
* “Rumors that I’m going to set the place on fire or blow it up or lock the doors are completely false,” Mulvaney said during a news conference at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Monday. * But, he added, "Anyone who thinks that a Trump administration CFPB is the same as an Obama CFPB is wrong. * “I’m just learning about the powers that I have as acting director,” Mulvaney said. “They would frighten most of you” due to “how little oversight Congress has over me now."" - "how little oversight Congress has over me now"?  Good grief.. I shudder at what would have gone on if Hellary had won and Obama's appointee had this continued power? Fortunately, Trump's pick will work to close this office and have it's powers re-delegated to other department. Another Trump promise to streamline government being kept!
---
What is it with Senator Elizabeth "Pocahontas" Warren.. with her membership in the Senate, she should be using the Legislative powers endowed to her by the Constitution to address legal issue involving government regulation, not throwing inane subjects u=into the court system with it's slow response times to solving issues.
---
From the "mainscream media are renewed since they stopped drinking the Hellary/Obama Kool-Aid" department - HufPOOPOO headline story: "Video of migrants sold in apparent slave auction in Libya provokes outrage worldwide * Last week, CNN published a report on modern slavery in Libya, featuring a video that reportedly was shot in August and appeared to show a man selling African migrants for farm work. * “Big strong boys,” the man said in the video, according to a CNN narrator. “400 … 700 … 800,” he called out the mounting prices. The men were eventually sold for about $400 each, CNN reported. The Libyan government said it has launched an investigation into slave auctions in the country." -- Wow! First, mainscream media started reporting Democrats who abused women, and now mainscream media is reporting on actual slave marketing that has  never stopped in Africa! Maybe, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharlatan and Black Lives Matter should refocus on reality and get there in a hurry!
---
I understand that the MCSD has 3 locations for the wrestling room at Columbus High that will not involve using the existing parking lots for the massive "foot print". They aren't being disclosed... You know, there is absolutely no reason not to reveal the 3 possible spots since the MCSD already owns the land where CHS sits.. now, on the other hand, does the MCSD realize they may have to buy another piece of property in order to accomplish the construction without taking away from the parking that exists? That would explain the closed-mouth position of not discussing such at Board meetings.

From the "Between the Hedges visitors' revenge" department - According to the HuffPOOPOO, there's a law on the books in Athens-Clarke County, GA that says it's "unlawful to create noise that's audible from a distance of 300 feet or more beyond property limits. The rule applies from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to midnight on weekends. * In particular, one cannot shout, hoot, sing or whistle on public streets, sidewalks or any private property, according to Municode. Violators face a $1,000 fine. Hmmmmm.. next time you go to Athens to see a game your college is playing the Bulldogs in Athens, you can make a "citizens arrest" of all the UGA fans on opening kickoff and have the stands emptied so your team can hear the signals your quarterbacks barks out.

Online headline/story: "New York Times responds to backlash after profiling Nazi sympathizer * Readers took issue with how the profile of Tony Hovater, an Ohio man described as the "Nazi sympathizer next door," normalized his behavior. The piece leads with his wedding plans, mentions his love for Seinfeld and Twin Peaks, and includes a picture of him grocery shopping. * The NYT hadn't intended to sanitize white supremacy, but rather show that extremists live among Americans, Lacey wrote. The profile was originally published online with the headline “In America’s Heartland, the Nazi Sympathizer Next Door." It was later changed to "A Voice of Hate in America’s Heartland" and remained that way as of publication of this post." -- Looks like the NYTimes was trying to "normalize" extremism, and it's readers want no part of such.. Hey Fox News... this is how YOUR viewers "feel" when you parade Democrat spinmeisters in to try to "normalize" socialism/communism/despotism!
---
You know, "modern education" is in a quandary.. it forsook older time-proven methods for "modern" methods that aren't working, and yet the "modern educators" keep looking for new untried methods than restoring time-proven methods THAT WORKED!

Online headline: "Trump lashes out at CNN, calls Fox News 'MUCH more important'" -- Hmmm.. Trump must not be watching Fox... pretty soon, he'll be lashing out at Fox, too. is over. I've pretty much stopped watching Fox News once Fox & Friends.
---
Online headline: "MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' hosts caught faking post-Thanksgiving banter they taped earlier" -- Hmmm.. already known for its "Fake News", MSNBC now becomes the network of "Fake Non-News"

Last Sunday, a US Border Agent, Rogelio Martinez, died from massive wounds inflicted with rocks.. his unnamed partner was viciously attacked with rocks as well. Illegal immigrants are suspected, but where are the follow-up stories?

Online story: "An angry motorist tried to cut his van into President Donald Trump's motorcade in Florida on Saturday afternoon and made obscene gestures as he was pulled over by police. * A White House pool report said the red van "attempted to cut into the motorcade. Local law enforcement pulled over the vehicle, where the driver made obscene gestures and screamed several expletives." -- An unknown van tried to cut into the Presidents motorcade in Florida... and was pulled over? The van should have been "blown off the road".. there was no way of knowing that the van didn't hold explosives or assassins.

President Trump had a "Golfer's Valhalla" weekend! He played golf with Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson on Friday, and with Jack Nicklaus and his son Gerry on Saturday. This stirred up memories of a similar "Golfer's Valhalla" my Uncle Hal Armentrout, Jr had in 1980 during the last playing of Jackie Gleason's Inverrary Classic.. There was a 2-day Pro-Am for sponsors and guests.. During the drawing Party preceding the event, Uncle Hal's group drew Jack Nicklaus as their celebrity partner for Day 1.. Uncle Hal Left the party to find a phone to call my parents with his excitement.. After telling them about Nicklaus, he went back to the party and found out that on Day 2, his groups celebrity partner was "The Great One". Jackie Gleason himself. I still have the tee-gift watch he received as a memento.. and it still works 37 years later.

From the "even the NY Post sees through Franken" department - Online headlie/story: "Al Franken’s unconvincing ‘apologies’ * Al Franken comes out of the world of show business, where scripts are constantly rewritten — so that’s probably why he’s just issued a fourth version of his attempt to explain sexual-harassment charges against him * But all he’ll concede is having “made some women feel badly.” Not one of his statements admits to any intentionally bad behavior." -- "Some women"? Al,, explain who "some women" are..I know of none that not be upset having a stranger.. especially some one as strange as Al Franken, uninvitedly hug/grope them.

When is the Chamber and Columbus Visitor's Bureau going to start running daily innocuous "We do Amazing" ads like the "Together 2017" group does? I can visualize the first one, "We do Amazingly BAD Employment and Education Figures"
---
The NFL is still delusional...it talks about lost attendance figures like it's not so bad, but they are counting those empty season ticket seats as "full".

Even though UGA got a TD on the next play, Wims had a TD stolen from him..His feet were in and he got the ball over the pylon,, but the review said otherwise...musta been a ACC review ref.

Withouta doubt, the FLA-FSU game had to be the mo st embarrassing rivalry game scheduled this past weekend. Both teams were 4-6 going in to it, meaning that the winning team would still have a losing record, and if FLA won, neither team was going to be"bowl eligible "..and regardless, neither of the team would crack the top 3 FBS schools in Florida. Central FLA is undefeated, Miami has lost 1, and South FLA has lost 2. Whatta fall from grace.

Small Business Day on this past Saturday could not have been a worst day for independent Columbus retailers.. GA-GA Tech played at Noon, and AU vs Bama kicked off around 3:30.Everybody I know was either at the games or firmly entrenched in front of a TV bu 11:00 AM

From the "now it makes total sense" department - Informative L-E "soundoff": "The New York-Hillary connection Birmingham, Huntsville and Mobile newspapers are all owned by Advanced publications, which is located in NYC and endorsed Hillary in the presidential election. They just endorsed Jones over Moore. Shocking!" -- Verified this myself..

Last week.. and a couple of times previous, I brought up that GA Power Company has pulled out of Columbus, and basically, is no longer sharing Columbus expenses via property taxes.. I made a mistake.. GA Power Company still owns a lot of property in Columbus,, (parcels 000-000-016, -016A, -016B, -016C, -016D, 000-000-017, 000-000-018, -018A) .. Combined those parcels have a 2017 Fair Market Value tax assessed value of over $206,000,000.00... plus another property at 3818 Woodruff Rd which GA Power bought in 2016 for $162,000.00 yet the Tax Assessor has the Fair Market Value at $0.00 (zilch).  The 000-000-etc numbered parcels above have no addresses to check so I do not know whether the building on Veterans Parkway GA Power closed is included.. but here's the kicker.. GA Power pays ZERO in property taxes!  WE users pay a City franchise fee, as well as the rates elected officials approve as well as sales taxes on the amount we use.. yet GA Power pays ZERO towards the fire and police protection we provide nor any amount towards maintaining the roads GA Power trucks and meter readers use.  Excuse. me. even though GA Power Company is a "utility company" it's still a BUSINESS (with MONOPOLY status), and every other business in Columbus has to pay ... and include .. property taxes in its expenses. Even more angering is that GA Power Company is allowed by the GA Public Service Commission to take a portion of the moneys we pay in fees, and put it into a "Foundation" which it can use to give out to other charitable organizations to make GA Power Company "look generous" giving away money it has taken from the users,  In other words, GA Power Company's contributions to "Together 2017 projects isn't even coming out of GA Power Company's pocket.. it was/is siphoned out of OURS but GA Power takes the credit. Bah Humbug, GA POWER!

Was out buying our Christmas tree yesterday and ran into not-soon-enough-for-me-ex-District-133-Representative John Pezold.. he must be a campaign official for the Buzz guy running against Josh McKoon.. one of Pezold's heirs was playing with a Buzz Brockyear Toy Story character.. hmmm, I thought.. "To Insanity and Beyond"!

NY Gov Cuomo says the current federal tax bill cuts will cause NYers to move. Hey, GOV, why not just cut your own state housing/property taxes and make your supporters more happy to stay in N Y?
---
The next time you hear any Democrat Congressman  or candidate say he/she can work towards bipartisanship government, ask him/her how he/she voted on the tax cut and Obamacare repeal.

The Lord promised to separate the sheep from the goats..Sheep will go to right hand and goat to his left. Of course in today's vernacular,  HE meant Conservatives to His right hand and liberals to His left hand.

Since Auburn beat Bama, I'm sure there are a lot of early purchased SEC Championship game tickets issued to Bama season ticket holders available, and I'm sure Bama fans don't want to deal with Auburn fans, so here's the deal..I'm buying..and giving 100% of save-face value on primo seats, 75% on lower level  sideline seats, and 50% of face value on nosebleed  section tickets.. Line forms on the right.

From the "Fred Sanford: "It's the BIG ONE, Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you" department - Online story: "Michigan Rep. John Conyers on Sunday stepped aside as the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee but again denied recent allegations of sexual and inappropriate conduct.he investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct." -- Good grief.. an "ethics" move by a Democrat.. will wonders never cease. Hey, Franken.. you too, Clintons,.. take a "hint"!

Mississippi State lost its quarterback with an ankle injury in the game Saturday, and later Dan Mullens announced he's been overwhelmed by an obscene offer from Florida
that he cannot refuse. I'm sorry to lose Mullens as Mississippi State has flourished, but wish Coach Mullens happiness at Florida.. it's gonna be tough pulling against him now, but he chose to go to Florida, not me.. so.. on the other hand.. it really won't be that tough...

L-E headline/story: "Guns were Black Friday must-haves in US stores * On Friday, the FBI received 203,086 requests for instant gun background checks, according to USA Today – nearly a 10 percent increase from the year before and a new record for background checks in a single day." -- Yes.. and the background searches show honest American citizens are active in their future.. maybe one of these will show up in my stocking for Christmas.. I have a couple of open slots in my gun closet.
---
L-E headline/story: "City wages battle against people dumping trash at dead-end road * Residents have voiced concerns on this stretch of road for the last three months. A day after Thanksgiving, the end of the street was filled Friday with discarded carpet, clothing, bulging garbage bags, roofing and even part of a deer missing both hind quarters. * It appears that some person or a group is using the area as an illegal dumping location. Not much evidence was left for city officials to get a lead on the suspects. * “There was no proof of where or who did the dumping,” Hudgison said. “There is a lot of solid waste and construction waste at this location.” -- Hmm.. excuse me, but how tough will it be to add one of those "driveway alert" alarms in a tree near there that signals the CPD when a vehicle enters that road? Tie it into the existing radio communication system the CPD already has.
---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD * School board to vote on racial harassment policy" -- Forget policies. I want know where the MCSB/MCSD is going to build the wrestling/weight room building on the Columbus High School campus. The only places I can see large and appropriate enough are in the existing lot... but didn't tax payers get stuck paying $935,000.00 to build one because there isn't enough parking space as it is,l and now the only places available may be taken for new construction which will eliminate about as many spaces as were built....

When the FBS looks at each teams schedule for toughness.. Auburn has to have had the toughest.. The SEC West teams always have a tough schedule, but Auburn also played Clemson.. current number 1, and also Alabama and Georgia when they were ranked #1.

Yesterday, I wrote about the dismal employment figures released as "belonging" to Columbus's Council and Mayor..a fellow BCer reminded me that it's bigger than that.. our State Legislative delegation needs to share the shame.. John Pezold, Carolyn Hugley, Calvin Smyre, Debbie Buckner, Ed Harbison, and Richard Smith. Josh McKoon gets a pass because the "Republicans" shunned him because he was "too ethical".. Hey.. in my book, you're either ETHICAL or you're not.
---
L-E headline: "Columbus police seek two cars after chases, exchange of gunfire" -- This story was "edited" concerning the police vehicles "losing track of the pursuants.. the first L-E report described it as "calling off" due to dangers. Beside this sounding like a sequel to a "Keystone Kops" movie, every thug driving and seeing blue lights behind him will "jack rabbit" knowing our police will not pursue them if they drive fast and recklessly. I understand the dangers of a car chase to our police officers and the general public as well (documented sadly by the loss of a beloved Carver baseball coach), but at the same time, this policy will encourage EVERY criminal behind the wheel of a car to be emboldened to "get away" regardless of the dangers they create for the public.
---
From the "it's a start but still not enough to be called justice" department - Online headline: "Olympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius' prison sentence more than doubled to 13 years, 5 months" -- This guy knew what was going on and that it was his girlfriend locked in that bathroom.. we should thank the judge for overruling a "star" struck lower court, but it's still not enough.
---
From the "how appropriate" department - Online headline: "Kaepernick participates in 'Unthanksgiving Day' on Alcatraz" -- Well, simply a case of the "ungrateful", the "unrespectful" being "unthankful".
---
Online headline/story: "Soros, Pelosi headline hush-hush 'Resistance' conference in California * Liberal billionaire George Soros and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi were listed as the main attractions Friday at a California gathering of the anti-Trump elite. * The four-day event in Carlsbad, titled “Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future,” asked that guests refrain from contacting the media or posting to social media, the agenda shows. * Other speakers appearing in person or via video were expected to include U.S. Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, D-Minn.; and Democrats Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania and governor-elect Ralph Northam of Virginia. * Special guest speakers were listed as CNN contributor Van Jones and Center for American Progress CEO Neera Tanden. * The conference, which began Wednesday and runs through Saturday at La Costa Resort, was organized by the Democracy Alliance, a network of liberal donors" -- Hmmm.. the "Democracy Alliance".. Soros is the major sponsor/donator of this anarchist group, and speaking of the "ungrateful", the "unrespectful" being "unthankful", Nancy Pelosi is supporting it. Seems like an "impeachable moment". Let's make sure the Pelosi and the other politicians list the costs of being a sponsored guest at the luxurious La Costa Resort (spa, major golf course and tennis complex) is reported on their IRS forms. Oh! Wonder if FaceBook will allow this posting to be up very long since "the committee (Soros) warns against it.
---
Follow up on above: Online headline/story: "Washington Post reporter caught plotting liberal agenda with billionaire George Soros * Allegedly unbiased Washington Post reporter Janell Ross spoke at a top-secret meeting of liberal movers and shakers last week, where Democratic donors including billionaire George Soros outlined the future of their progressive agenda * A Post spokesperson told the Washington Free Beacon that Ross took part of the California event “without notifying her superiors that she would be attending.” -- Hmmm.. CNN's Van Jones was a guest speaker as well..Hello.. mainscream media.. YOU ARE FAKE NEWS!

What is so hard for RINOs, Democrats, and mainscream media to understand that if a family's income receives a $24,000.00 reduction before taxes are calculated, and that corporate tax liability is reduced to 20% from 35% that middle class Americans will benefit greatly
---
Online story: "Ivanka Trump, the president's eldest daughter and top White House adviser, condemned recent media coverage of former President Barack Obama's eldest daughter Malia Obama, who is a 19-year-old freshman at Harvard University. * "Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers. She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits," Ivanka Trump tweeted on Friday. * The comments came after videos of Obama smoking and kissing another Harvard student at a college football game went viral." -- Wow.. this is culture shock FROM mainscream media! We knew their point whenever they bullied Bush 43's twin daughters and went after all Trumps' kids )including 10 year-old Barron Trump..maybe now mainscream media-ites will try to capitalize on old unpublished photos/stories of Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton.
---
Online headline/story: "2 university programs rescind Charlie Rose's journalism awards after sexual harassment allegations * His Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism award was rescinded by Arizona State University on Friday. A second award from the William Allen White Foundation at the University of Kansas was also recalled." -- Hmm.. I guess mainscream media feels that if it humiliates some of its own, it can be justified to go after Roy Moore and Trump with a vengeance.
---
From the "consider the source" department - Online headLIE: "President Trump is getting outvoted by the mayor of Puerto Rico, Carmen Yulin Cruz, in Time's Person of the Year poll" -- Let me ask.. when was the last time you read a "Time", much less answered a poll? The "headLIE" reason is because the Mayor of San Juan is not even leading the "poll".. she's in 3rd place behind Taylor Swift and the ubiquitous "Me Too". In fact, Trump getting 29% of this audience is a monumental achievement.. Oh.. Angela Merkel, Germany's Iron Maiden, only got 11%.. and TIME likes her.
---
From the "let's remember" department - Online story: "President Donald Trump sparked widespread concern within the US and Israeli intelligence communities after he disclosed details of a highly classified Israeli intelligence operation to Russian officials earlier this year, according to a new Vanity Fair report." -- Not only is this rehashed old news, but the President is authorized to determine what is and what isn't classified information, and can share what ever info he thinks will solve a problem. Trump is the President.. let's... and I include mainscream media as a courtesy.. remember that.

Today is the "Iron Bowl" and being played in Auburn.. the number one question is there enough toilet paper left after the UGA game that people can use "the facilities" before and during the game today..

From the "land of nanni-nanni-poo-poo" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Philadelphia mayor roasts Donald Trump: ‘Our president is a bully’ and ‘a punk’ * During a speech at Philadelphia’s City Hall, Kenney called out the White House for having “no compassion whatsoever” with its decision to remove the “temporary protected status” designation for Haiti by July 2019." -- "a bully"? .. "a punk"? because President Trump is not going to let a "temporary protected status" decree of Obama become PERMANENT? Trump is doing the job that the voters of 30 of 50 states said they wanted.. to re-establish the U.S. Constitution as "the law of the land".. The Philadelphia mayor might want to try doing the same and recreate Philadelphia's image as a safe city of Brotherly Love.

Online "headLIE/story: "Richard Spencer is reportedly banned from over 26 European nations * Poland's state-run news agency reports the country's authorities issued a five-year ban on Spencer entering the Schengen Area, which is made up of 26 countries, including Germany, France, Spain and Italy. * The ministry said that "as a country which was one of the biggest victims of Nazism," it thinks the ideas Spencer and his followers promote may be "a threat to all those who hold dear the values of human rights and democracy.": -- HeadLIE in that it's the equivalent of one US state's governor kicking a protester out and and demanding the other 49 states do the same. What's really sad is that when the Polish "authorities" issued this ban, they dishonored their ancestors who picked up tools and rocks to fight off German tanks to keep and regain their freedom.

Whatta horrific injury Mississippi State's quarterback sustained last night. You could see his foot re-positioned at a 90-degree angle from his leg. Whatta brave leader we saw as he was carted off the field in pain but still cheering on his teammates and fans to carry on. He even rejoined his team on the sidelines wearing a leg cast and on crutches.. a real inspiration. A last quarter comeback was thwarted but the Bulldogs showed their worthiness of being ranked in the top 20 teams in the country.

Now, a bit of a personal story.. Nick Fitzgerald was in Columbus, GA on Tuesday.. I walked into Smokey Pig BBQ off Linwood for a pre-Thanksgiving treat/and change-of-pace. Ordered and got my regular chipped sandwich/8-oz stew with sweet tea and went into the dining area.. There he was,, with his mom and dad. I looked at him with that "I know who you are" look and he he knew I'd recognized him as he sat there. He nodded.. As they got up to leave a few minutes later, he looked again and gave a "thank you for not intruding" nod. Let me tell you, Nick Fitzgerald is a huge young man, He's described as 6' 5" and 235 pounds, but I was 6' 5" and 220 when I played frosh b-ball at State, and he must weigh 25 or 30 pounds more than I did.

After all racial issues that have circulated through ESPN, why do their announcers still refer to Ole Miss as the "Rebels"? Several years ago the school officially changed its nickname to the "Black Bears".
---
From the "Good Grief.. hey, mainscream media, give it a rest" department - Online story: "President Donald Trump offered a bizarre but familiar response to an article on the Washington Post's liberal-leaning "Plum Line" blog that suggested he criticized prominent black people to play on a racist sentiment among his base. * The exchange on Thanksgiving morning came after Trump attacked LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo Ball, one of the UCLA freshmen released from being detained in China after Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, on Twitter. * Trump called Ball an "ungrateful fool" and compared him to a "poor man's version of Don King," after Ball refused to thank Trump for his role in getting his son and the other players freed from China, where they had admitted to shoplifting from several stores." -- Good grief.. LaVar Ball's son would be in a Chinese jail for the next 10 years had Trump not intervened (and to be honest, as a retired retail merchant, I was not happy that Trump interfered with the arrest/prosecution of a shoplifter), but I'm glad Trump did. LaVar Ball "is a fool" for not being eternally grateful for President Trump's actions.. and LaVar Ball should be even if he was white.
---
The boycott is working...we had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal, and afterward, enjoyed playing with all the grandchildren/great-grandchildren, and one person even asked what the NFL games were being played!
---
I use to really enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade..but found it almost unbearable to listen to "guests" sitting in or being highlighted at different locations.. if the networks want to cover it because of tradition, then the networks should make the Parade its primary focus.
---
Good grief..the CBS announcer for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade said the Air Force Band had traveled all the way from its "home state" of Washington, D.C.. Washington, D.C. is NOT A STATE, and was never intended to become one when our Founding Fathers realized no state should be the seat of the federal government .
---
You know..RINOs. are like lobsters...Demos pat'em on the back before putting them into the cold water and then bringing them to a boil. Unfortunately, RINOs that do get elected are more than likely to lose in re-elections if the Dems oppose them feverishly because conservatives will stay home on election day if they don't believe there's a difference between the candidates for them to take off from work to vote.
---
A Democrat spinmeister on Fox actually said that if all the politicians worked together the US and its allies could solve the world problems... DOH! Hasn't this guy watched the news and read the DNC "Manifesto" to know that the goal of the Democrats is to apologize for America's greatness, and model our government after the failed governments of socialist and 3rd countries.

From the "Mayor Tom-LYING-son finally may have Columbus #1 on a list" department - "L-E headline/story:  "Columbus unemployment rate climbs in October * In a Turkey Day report, the Georgia Department of Labor said Thursday that the Columbus metro area unemployment rate rose from 4.9 percent in September to 5.1 percent in October." -- Good grief.. the rest of the country is booming, and Democrat-ville is pooping! Thank you... NOT... Mayor/Council.
---
From an L-E article on "food" - " Castoreum, which is used as vanilla flavoring in candies, baked goods, etc., is actually a secretion from the anal glands of beavers." -- I am going into our pantry when I finish my blog and read the ingredients list on every box or bags of food stuff in it, and if I find "Castoreum" om any of it, I am going to have my lawyers file a "clASS action suit" against any and all of them!
---
I just read in the L-E that "State offices-Georgia: Open" today. Someone should remind the officials at the GA Driver's License Bureau here in Columbus.
---
There is an organization in Columbus called "Together 2017" that spends more money advertising on what and who is doing projects around Columbus than it spends actually DOING things around Columbus. One of the members is GA Power CO. That's right, the GA Power Company.. the monopoly utility company that has closed its office here so it no longer is a tax contributing member of our community. If there's ever a deserving moment to say "Bah Humbug" it's at GA Power Co claiming to be a participant in Columbus' growth and economy.
---
From the "Truth in Advertising... NOT" department - Earlier this week, my bride noticed an ad from Headquarter Nissan that she thought said that if you "bought a Nissan Titan truck, you would get a Nissan Versa free". We are in the mood for new vehicles and thought that if I bought a truck, then we could use the Versa as a trade-in towards another car of her choice. We went by on Monday and learned that the real deal was that if you bought the truck then you'd get a free 2-year lease on a Versa.. we walked away feeling that she just misunderstood the ad. Well, yesterday evening, I saw the TV ad which said "Buy a Titan, Get a Versa sedan".. it sounded like a "BOGO --Buy One Get One" to me. . Just wrote them off from future considerations.

There is a scam going on in Columbus! My mother-in-law got a call purportedly from someone with my daughter, and told her that our daughter was in jail following an accident and needed $3,000.00 and to bring to the caller.. My mother-in-law is still sharp as a tack, and asked the caller what our daughter's other grandmother's name was.. and the caller hung up. Then she learned another person she knows received the same kind of call and had actually taken the money to them. There's a special place in Hell for these kind of people.. I hope I'll get a chance to send them there earlier than they expect. Sorry Lord.. just said what I know YOU knew I was thinking.

L-E story: "For two decades, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher has been of value to the Kremlin, so valuable in recent years that the FBI warned him in 2012 that Russia regarded him as an intelligence source worthy of a Kremlin code name. * The following year, the California Republican became even more valuable, assuming the chairmanship of the Foreign Affairs subcommittee that oversees Russia policy. He sailed to re-election again and again, even as he developed ties to Vladimir Putin’s Russia." -- This is why America rejected 15 "Republicans" and elected a conservative Trump as the Republican Party candidate and then President! This also is why establishment "Republicans" still are trying to undermine Trump's campaign promises to Make America Great Again. Why did the Obama DOJ allow Rohrabacher to ascend to the chairmanship of the Foreign Affairs subcommittee without challenge?

Online headline/story: "Jeff Sessions orders review of gun background check system * U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Wednesday ordered a review of a government database used for background checks on gun buyers, after a man who killed 26 people in a Texas church was left off the system despite having a criminal record." -- You know, after 8 years of Obama/Holder/Lynch... and Comey..why wouldn't the DOJ be in even worse chaos than Even the Lois Lerner Department of the IRS, or our military budget?
---
From the "don't tell me that this is learned AT school" department - Online story: "Teachers say they’re being terrorized by unruly students ___________ in a Pennsylvania school district where 45 teachers have resigned since the start of the school year. * Association President Jody Barksdale, who says more teachers have resigned since then, wants the association to establish a task force to address the children displaying violent behavior. *“Teachers and students are being hit, kicked, slapped, scratched, cussed at.... and observing other students flip over tables, desks and chairs. Teachers have had to take the rest of their class into the hallway top protect them during these outbursts," Barksdale said." -- Now the "kicker".. this is happening in ELEMENTARY schools and by students as young as 6! Continuing from the story: "Several teachers and parents from Melrose and Downey elementary schools appeared at the meeting on Monday, calling for the school board to take action after Barksdale first relayed complaints in January. * a first-grade teacher who attended a Harrisburg school board meeting on Monday, said, "I have been kicked, punched, hit, scratched. I've had a student physically restraining me in front of my other students,”. -- Bringing it back home, an elementary teacher friend of ours here in the MCSD has related similar horror kids in the elementary school she teaches in!

From the "thank you... NOT... President Obama" department - Online headline/story: "MS-13 member arrested in murder of man found with heart removed * Authorities have arrested a 19-year-old member of the MS-13 gang in connection with the stabbing death of an unidentified man whose decapitated body was found with the heart removed. * Police suspect up to 10 members of the gang lured the victim out to a park in Wheaton, Md., where they stabbed him more than 100 times before burying him in a grave in the woods, the Washington Post reported. Allegedly among them, M***** “T*****” A**** L****-A*****, who authorities recently arrested in North Carolina on November 11. * He’s since been extradited to Maryland and has a bond review slated for Wednesday afternoon." -- This is the direct result of DACA, "catch and release", lax border security, or sanctuary city policy.. or a combination of all 4. Sadly, some taxpayer paid lawyer will get the charge for ripping the victims heart out based on the religious culture of the murderer's Aztec or Mayan ancestry.

HuffPOOPOO headline: " Man who claims Earth is flat says he can prove it" -- Now we know why mainscream media believes everything said against a Republican politician.. the HuffPOOPOO know the Earth is not flat, but will go and report of the fellow's attempt to prove it is..
---
Online story: "The former head of a U.S. government ethics watchdog said on Wednesday he had filed a complaint claiming senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway violated a law barring executive branch employees from engaging in political activity when she spoke on television against a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. * Conway, in an interview on Fox News Channel on Monday, railed against Doug Jones, the Democratic candidate in the Dec. 12 special election for an Alabama seat in the U.S. Senate. * Walter Shaub, who stepped down as director of the Office of Government Ethics in July, said in a Twitter post: "I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, which investigates Hatch Act violations." -- Another former Obama sycophant.. enough said.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Two More Women Accuse Sen. Al Franken Of Inappropriate Touching
* One woman told HuffPost that Franken had grabbed her backside at an event honoring women." -- and now there are pics of Al Franken grabbing Arianna Huffington by her breasts and butt... This was from 2000.. so this was known by a mainscream media icon BEFORE Franken ran for Senator but she never brought it up.. Hmmm.. guess my satirical name wasn't so much satirical after all.. Franken reached in and got himself a double handful of "HuffPOOPOO" - The hens are coming back to roost...

A couple of weeks ago, I asked the question of where can they build the new wrestling building at Columbus High as I could not think of any site there big enough to n=handle it except for one of the parking lots. The MCSD architect told me a site would be decoded on at the next MCSB meeting.. I asked a MCSB member about it and he said he's not been personally informed. Like I said, a 40'X60' building will need a 15' perimeter footprint to accommodate sidewalks and landscaping, so in actuality, the overall footprint will be about 70'X90' which will eliminate 40-to-50 existing parking places.

The MCSD 2015 SPLOST list was more of a "wish list" than a "needs list", and numbers pulled out of the air to ask for as much tax dollars as possible.

From the "bias.. what mainscream media is biased?" department - Online headline: "Trump's Mar-a-Lago Thanksgiving to cost taxpayers millions of dollars" --Hmmm... and do you remember any mainscream media headlines concerned about the Obama family vacation costs in Hawaii or Martha's Vinyard, or Michelle's African trip, or their girls South American trip?

You know, the White House Security force has a lot more reason to be on alert for Trump's life than it did for Obama's.. the DNC sponsored "antifa" forces have a proven record of violence, and as long as Biden was next-in-line, Obama had no worries about his safety.
---
We are so blessed that the Clintons are not back in the White House.. if they were, we'd have seen two real turkeys pardoned by themselves this week.

Democrats are soulless...the one running in Alabama's Senatorial race says he'll defend our Constitution.. but will not say he's a Democrat. ...Democrats lie about anything..everything!

I'm pretty much gonna drop commenting on Representative John Conyer's (D-MI) using tax dollars to pay off a staffer he had fired following her accusation of Conyer's sexual harassment. Not because I think it was WRONG, but because Congress isn't going to do i[anything about it, and I don't want Conyers to become an 88-year old icon for Viagra and get TV commercial contracts.
---
From the "Trump nails it... again" department - L-E headline: "Trump calls UCLA player’s father an ‘ungrateful fool’" -- Good grief, if the father had taught his son that shoplifting is a crime, this discussion would probably be moot.. but the father didn't , and the son would have been doing 10 years in a Chinese jail if President Trump had not intervened.. wanna bet that if "the son" does it again, that "the father" will plead to Trump for help?

---
L-E headline/story: "MCSD board members debate whether district is progressing * The administration is exploring extending the academic year for its lowest-performing schools, Lewis said. * “The agrarian calendar of 180 school days is simply not enough in this day and age,” Lewis said. “Some of these schools, we need to consider extending not the school day but the school year.” -- What the h...? 180 school days was enough in the past even without the electronic shortcuts available to schools of today.. What this boils down to is school policies/curriculum have caused more problems than they have solved!

From the "why not just give ISIS a key" department - Online headline/story: "More Thanksgiving travelers could mean more crowds, confusion at airports * More Thanksgiving travelers could mean more crowds, confusion at airports * In the past, it was mostly just laptops that needed to be removed from carry-on bags. * The new remove-all-electronics policy was tested at 10 airports during the summer and fall, but that rule is now being enforced at 180 airports nationwide, with more on the way" -- You know, if I were ISIS, and wanted to cause destruction and havoc, I'd go to a mall feeder airport not under the extreme scrutiny of TSA, and book a flight into a busy city airport, and have a timer-based or phone activated IED in my luggage, and wait for it to be delivered to the claim area. Why does TSA announce ahead of time what it's planning? Oh, too many Obama hirees still in place.
---
Did you know that in 2015, the state of Vermont had only 10 murders? Must be because of Bernie.. probably has such a high tax on bullets, that no one can afford them. For local comparison: Vermont has a population of about 625,000..Columbus, GA with about 200,000 population has had 38 homicides this year... with about 1/3rd the population, Columbus has nearly 4-times the homicides.
---
Random thought: "The Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader should start immediate impeachment charges against any elected Representative/Senator who doesn't support the Constitution. That means any of them supporting DACA, sanctuary cities/states, or illegal drug use.
---
NJ's Senate President was on Fox Business whining about losing the state/local tax deductions possibly causing overtaxed NJ millionaires to move out of state. The rub is that most, if not all, of them are Democrats who ganged up against the Republicans who had eliminated the " millionaires" tax under Gov Christie, and now the new Dem gov is putting in back on them.
---
So Rep John Conyers...88 year old John Conyers has sexual harassment charges popping up..and it looks like he may have used tax dollars to settle an unjust firing. I think every Democrat/RINO who has ever supported Clinton or spoken out against Roy Moore be subjected to a lie-detector test before being allowed back into the Capitol.
---
From the "half-lie headline" department - Online headline: "Donna Brazile: Clinton lost over DNC hacking, Trump breaking the blue ‘firewall’" -- Hmmm only the first two words are "truth".. "Clinton Lost".
---
I hope every news report last night had a segment focused on the inane cackling of the press corp following President Trump walking to Marine Corps 1 helicopter. Not one of them can ever again claim to be a professional journalist.
---
CBS and PBS are such hypocrites...they fired Charlie Rose yesterday. CBS & PBS have known all these years but didn't stop it sooner and now are motivated so they can basically continue their assault on Roy Moore as an extension of their new found piousness. Rose ought to counter CBS and PBS with an "unlawful age discrimination" lawsuit.
---
Why do even Fox anchors ( other than on Fox & Friends,) seem to continue to credit Democrats with rebounding because they won Governorships? Let's be honest, VA and NJ are "blue states".
---
That California judge sitting as a US District Judge who ruled negatively on Trump wanting to withhold federal money from cities that declare themselves opposed to enforcing the laws of the land has been outed with raising $200,000.00 for Obama, and personally donating many $1,000s of dollars to other Democrats and liberal political groups should be simply removed from office.. no one in the judicial branch should be involved in electing members of the legislative or executive branches of government.
---
You know, US District Courts should not make rulings on appeals where the Constitutionality of a ruling law is in question. If that's a possibility, then the judge reviewing it should pass straight on to the US Supreme Court.
---
Representative DARRELL Issa, R-CA, was one of 13 Republicans who voted against the House tax cut bill. You know, Issa has become the second wealthiest member of Congress and is worth over $400,000,000.00. ..4 hundred million..Who is he to nitpick the relief that Americans in the other 49 states will benefit because CA punished its citizens with excessive state income taxes.
---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS POLICE DEPARTMENT * Slouchick promoted to CPD assistant chief" -- Good man, great pick!
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The only requirement for a federal judgeship or cabinet position in our government is a commitment to void anything associated with the Obama administration." -- Hmmm... and that, my friends, is what will Make America Great Again!

Della Reese... always a "star" in my book... now among the stars of eternity.
---
From the "another one..and another one etc.. bites the dust" department - Online headline: "PBS, CBS and Bloomberg suspend 'Charlie Rose Show' after sexual misconduct allegations" -- And we hardly had time to digest the NYT suspending its star.. and White House assigned Glenn Thrush...or his aberrations, and lets not forget Al Franken's 2nd accuser..
---
The Clintons are done, too...The WaPo has joined in the call for their investigation.
---
From the "now we know why" department - I was baffled at why the Bush family became so anti-Trump..then we find out "W" took North Korea off the list of "terrorist states" trying to make North Korea feel like we were its friend.
---
from the "be careful not to hang yourself on your own petard" department - Online story: "Former FBI director James Comey took a somewhat subtle swipe at President Trump’s grievance about not getting more praise for the release of three UCLA basketball players from China. * “‘A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.’ Arnold H. Glasow (1905-1998),” Comey wrote on Twitter." -- Hey Comey.. what goes around, comes around.
---
The "contest" for a citizen inspired slogan for Columbus, GA had the bar raised..One of my Breakfast Club blog followers sent me this one: "Columbus, GA. - Enter at Your Own Risk"... hmmm.. fits in with both our bad potholes AND crime stats!
---
Have you noticed how Hellary still refers to Trump as her "former opponent"... Isn't it time for her to finally refer to President Trump as her "victorious opponent"?
---
You have to wonder if the $97,000.00 "branding firm" the Columbus Chamber and Visiting Bureau used bothered to check out "

---
From the "mirror mirror, on the wall" or "if she could see what I see" department: Online headline: "Kathy Griffin complains she's unemployable after being 'blacklisted' from Hollywood for Trump photo scandal" -- Good grief..Kathy Griffen is most remembered as the one who started the current "lack of moral ethics cleanse" in liberal land! That's why no one will hire her!
---
From the "we wonder why the court system seems to be a revolving door" department - Online headline/story: "Soros-tied donor network to ramp up efforts to elect left-wing prosecutors * The Democracy Alliance, a secretive left-wing dark money donor network whose members each direct hundreds of thousands in funding to progressive groups, is set to ramp up efforts to elect far-left prosecutors across the nation, according to documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. * The documents, which were gathered from the Democracy Alliance's three-day fall investment conference last week at the posh La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif., show that electing ultra-progressive prosecutors in cities across the country is of high importance to the deep-pocketed donors as part of their "resistance" efforts and 2018 strategy. * Liberal billionaire George Soros, a co-founder of the Democracy Alliance, was listed as a host for the event, which shared an "early peek at more than 30 hot races" that overlap in key 2018 battlegrounds." -- Describing George Soros as a liberal billionaire is just wrong... Soros is literally a billionaire anarchist. Soros just understands that convicted criminals cannot vote.
---
From the "Obama finally admits it" department - President Obama said his Bleep Veep Biden was his "brother and best vice president anybody could have.” -- Hmmm.. Well, if Obama meant that having Biden as one's VP meant that no one would do anything to him.. including "impeachment", Obama was right.. no one.. from either side of the aisle wanted Biden in the Oval Office..
---
Random though: According to 24/7 Wall St (
http://247wallst.com/special-report/2017/11/17/25-richest-members-of-congress/
) the Top 25 Wealthiest House/Senate politicians in Congress have interesting figures.. # 25 is worth $54 Million, while #1 is worth $476 Million, Of the Top 25, 13 are Democrats, and 17 are Representatives. Of the Top 10, 6 are Democrats and 8 are Representatives. Interestingly, 4 of them are from California (and all 4 are in the Top 11) Number 1 is a Democrat from Colorado...not exactly the image the DNC and mainscream media try to portray
---
From the "isn't this a conflict of interest.. and below the judge's "pay scale" department - Online story: " A federal court judge in California on Monday blocked an executive order from President Donald Trump to deny some federal grants to so-called sanctuary cities, undermining the administration's crackdown on illegal immigration. * U.S. District Judge William Orrick in San Francisco, who blocked the order provisionally in April, issued a permanent injunction in the suit brought by the city and county of San Francisco and Santa Clara County, which said the order was unconstitutional." -- "order was unconstitutional"? Aside from the judge's residence being in the San Francisco area, nothing is basically constitutional or UNCONSTITUTIONAL until the US Supreme Court says it is.
---
From the "it is TIME for the WALL to be built" department -- online story: "Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is offering a reward to anyone who could help authorities capture those responsible for murdering a border patrol agent and seriously injuring another. * National Border Patrol Council labor union vice president Art Del Cueto said he believes the two agents were involved in a rock attack." -- Two Border Patrol Agents were apparently lured into a situation and were beaten and brutalized by illegals using rocks.. It's time for Trump to rescind the rules of engagement imposed on our law enforcement units about not using their own weapons FIRST.
---
The GA Dome is no more $100's of millions in tax dollars went up on smoke... poof!
---
L-E story: "More than 100 people gathered in front of Kendrick High School Monday evening to mourn the loss of yet another youth to gun violence. * This time the victim was Javion Shorter, a Kendrick High senior who was gunned down Friday on his 18th birthday. * The Muscogee County Coroner’s Office marks Shorter’s death as the 38th homicide in Columbus this year" -- Hmmm that puts us at 19 per 100,000 people.. 2 more homicides and we are tied with Oakland, California for 25th most murderous cities in the US.
---
From the "George Soros doesn't need any liberal prosecutors when criminal don't really serve the sentences judges give them" department - L-E story: "The Rolex thief who ran from a downtown jewelry store with the owner firing a pistol in pursuit is headed to prison on a probation violation. * Authorities said John Paul Dube Jr. was on probation for two counts of burglary and other offenses when he tried to steal the $7,000 watch from Jimmy’s Fine Jewelry at 1121 Broadway around 1:30 p.m. June 3. * He pleaded guilty March 9, 2016, to first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, fourth-degree forgery, theft by receiving stolen property and giving police false information, according to court records. * In that case, Judge Arthur Smith III sentenced him to 10 years in prison with two to serve and the rest on probation. * The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles commuted that sentence to time served this past Jan. 3, three months before the attempted watch theft." -- Good grief.. if the (_*_) had served the full 2 years he'd have been in jail until NEXT year, and we wouldn't be spending more money on getting him back off the streets now. Here are the names of the current GA Board of Pardons and Paroles: James T Mills - Chair from Hall County, Braxton T Cotton - Vice-Chair from Baldwin County, Terry E. Bernard - Tatnall County, Brian Owens - resides in unmentioned Middle GA area, and Jacqueline Bunn, Esq - resides somewhere in GA.. Write Governor Deal and tell him to replace'em all!

The Peanut Bowl was played this week.. congrats to all the players. I have special memories about "The Peanut Bowl". I played in the first year Pop Warner football was started in Columbus.. There were but two teams.. My team went undefeated.. Both teams played out-of-STATE teams in the 1st Peanut Bowl..

Remember when I took exception to a mainscream media headline last week about Charles Manson..well, the (_*_) died yesterday. NOW he's in "Grave Condition".
---
I stand corrected.. When Hellary's book, "What Happened" appeared, I pretty much assumed it would be the least informative book of 2017 as to providing real answers. Now, I see that Dan Rather has a new book out, "What Unites Us". You know, I can only guess Rather is referring to what "unites" mainscream media and liberal politics, as I cannot see him understanding anything about "uniting" anything else.
---
From the "well, it's only fair" department - Online story:"President Trump loves polls that make him look good, and ignores those that don’t, Politico reported Saturday. * And his aides know only to show the ratings-obsessed President polls that portray him favorably" -- Good grief.. does mainscream media report/manufacture any polls that highlight the achievements Trump has made.. or for that matter, any polls that have included any members of my blog followers (
http://kirvensbreakfastclub.blogspot.com/
) or myself?
---
Online story: "LaVar Ball on Friday downplayed US President Donald Trump's role in helping three UCLA basketball players return home after being arrested on charges of shoplifting in China." -- Good grief.. LaVar Ball is sure full of himself.. one of the 3 shoplifters was family of his.. Does LaVar Ball think that China's President, Xi Jinping, care.. at all about 3 American basketball players careers? In fact, Xi Jinping would probably not even be aware of the arrest of three Americans caught shoplifting except for Trump's bringing it up. LaVar Ball should be thanking President Trump, too.
---
Have you seen the Christmas Buick commercial.. A guy is sitting down looking at a picture, and says, "I love Christmas..our whole family gets together. Then the camera pans in on the picture and it's one of the Buick line-up, and the guy says, "we're gonna need a bigger turkey".. Excuse me, but I don't believe there is a bigger turkey than the guy that repeated that line.
---
Wonder what ABC feels now..this Fall, we have watched 1 ABC program..it was a football game of surprising interest..usually, we watched "Last Man Standing" every Friday, but ABC put it's political correctness first and canceled it. Somebody ought to remind ABC that NBC and CBS are not their only competition.
---
After back-to-back CBS announced games, I believe the SEC should enforce a gag order on CBS announcers making comments on plays-under-review.
---
From the "there are just too many RINOs in politics" department - Online headline/story: "GOP official in NH urges Bill Clinton’s name be dropped from state Democratic dinner * The head of the New Hampshire GOP on Friday urged the state’s Democratic Party chair to drop former President Bill Clinton’s name from a major fundraising event. * The push came as sexual misconduct allegations against Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore of Alabama and Democratic Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota have dominated media coverage -- in turn reviving debate over the longstanding allegations against the former president. * The New Hampshire Democratic Party on Friday held their annual Kennedy-Clinton Dinner, which is their main fall fundraising gala. The dinner is named after Clinton and former President John F. Kennedy." -- Good grief.. Though not as public, JFK was as big a philanderer as Clinton and Senator Ted Kennedy.. Why would the Democrats hold either name up with any esteem. Oh.. and a true conservative would just keep his mouth closed and sell t-shirts with pics of Clinton and the Kennedys, Weinstein, and Weiner, Franken with an arrow under words "I'm with the Democrats"
---
Online headline: "Clinton aide: 'False comparison' to equate Bill with Weinstein, Moore" -- Hmmm... he's got a point.. Weinstein and the possibly false accused Moore are not even in the same ballpark, much less LEAGUE with Bill Clinton.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Congratulations to Rep. Carolyn Hugley for her much deserved award for her groundbreaking leadership for women. She is a pacesetter and is and an effective and committed role model." -- Hmmm.. now, did anyone ask her how she is voting on the $12,000.00 salary increase the Legislature is trying to sneak by the GA taxpayers?
---
Another LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Instead of the slogan, "We do amazing," maybe we can copy one from another town. A catchy one is Luverne, Alabama's "Friendliest City in the South." -- Hmmm.. personally, paraphrasing Minnesota's slogan of "Land of 10,000 Lakes" is a better fit for a Columbus slogan... "City of 10,000 Potholes"
---
Online headline/story: "Disney Is Making A Prince Charming Movie, But With A Big Twist *
While Disney's live action fairy tale remakes have been earnest and sincere, this Prince Charmingmovie sounds like it could work well as a comedy similar to 2007's Enchanted, which also parodied Disney's fairy tale tropes. Perhaps the other Charming will go on a journey to escape his brother's shadow, and once he realizes that he's not cut out to woo random well-dressed Disney women, he can finally find happiness elsewhere." -- Please Mr Disney... please do not go down the path of CinderFella!
---
For those with a little age upon them.. This Thanksgiving Thursday afternoon..in 1948, the first mechanical Christmas windows were revealed at Kirvens. For those who saw3 them up until 1986, the memories are still vivid... and only a nose-pressed-against-the-window length away..
----
From the "obviously, no Christian here" department - LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The voting patterns of Alabamians and their affinity for the likes of Trump, Bannon and now, God forbid, the molesting Roy Moore are an insult to Christianity." -- Hmmm.. I guess "soundoffer" has never read the 10 Commandments all the way through.. my guess is that after he/she read the 1st one, he/she went no further. Hey guy/gal, number 9 says not too spread/bear false witness against thy neighbor.
---
L-E headline: "‘Justice League’ disappoints in US with $96M opening" Guess Wonder Woman's follow up sorta went Gal Go-flop.

---
Well, Columbus taxpayers just got stuck a little deeper.. the City has run it's Thanksgiving Holiday ad of services scheduled, and the City added the new "We Do Amazing" logo at the top which runs the costs up more. Maybe the slogan should be "Council Amazingly Finds another Innocuous Way to Waste Tax Dollars'

Saturday, November 18, 2017

From the "this is the legacy Obama wanted" - Online story: "The country with the best brand and image is no longer the United States. It’s Germany. * According to a newly released study by the Nation Brands Index survey by German-based market research firm GFK and British political consultant Simon Anholt. * The U.S. dropped from the top spot to number six. France, Britain, Canada, and Japan took spots two through five." -- This is not an overnight phenomenon...It started with "the Apology Tour" and slid downhill for 8 years.. and is a main ingredient of Trump's win for America!
---
Online story: "A Democratic candidate for governor in Ohio — who is currently a sitting state Supreme Court justice — took to Facebook "speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males" and boast of sexual escapades "with approximately 50 very attractive females" after allegations of sexual misconduct were levied at Democratic Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota. * "Now that the dogs of war are calling for the head of Senator Al Franken, I believe it is time to speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males," the candidate and justice, Bill O'Neill, wrote on his Facebook page. "As a candidate for Governor let me save my opponents some research time." -- "sexual escapades "with approximately 50 very attractive females"? "let me save my opponents some research time"? Good grief.. the Bill Clinton-clone just estranged feminist women and LGBT voters in the Democratic Party base, and every father of a daughter.
---
Now we find out a lobbyist involved in the Uranium Russian/Hellary deal was an oft used FBI informant... and Come swears there were no recorded Hellary interviews? Comey is a perjurer!
---
I guess Nike is not taking any chances on putting too many of its eggs in the NFL basket.. was channel surfing last night after we got back from dinner while waiting for a movie starting at 9:00, and came across US Olympic Trial "curling " ... and both teams had the iconic "SWOOP".
---
Remember when Council voted to return 10th and 12th Streets back to 2-way traffic.. and budgeted $800,000.00. Remember when they re-marked 10th Street and found out that the curbside bicycle lanes would jeopardize both bike riders and mothers getting their babies in/out of rear passenger side safety seats? Remember when they didn't follow through doing the same to 12th Street? Well... Where's that $400,000.00 that was set aside to re-mark 12th Street for 2-way traffic?
---
We all know "Marie" lost 50 pounds on Nutra-systems.. of course, that was years ago..how does she maintain her 50 pound loss? If it's been done by having to stay on the Nutra-system diet.. is it worth it?
---
Hmm.. Poor Slick Willie...now that he and Hellary no longer have "value" to the Democratic Party, he's gonna get ripped a new one for indiscreet...and even violent and criminal ..acts he inflicted own women when he was protected by mainscream media.
---
From the "it could only happen in an all-Democrat election involving 2 Democrats" department - Good grief.. in the Atlanta City Council Post 1 election, challenger Michael Julian Bond got 49.97% of the vote while incumbent Courtney English garnered 49.52%. It seems about 822 people of (82,615) did write-in votes, so neither of the eligible candidates got 50% + 1 vote. To make it a complete fiasco, the director of registration and elections in Fulton County, said when he first certified Fulton’s results, he did not realize that neither of the two candidates had reached the 50 percent mark. * He certified the results with write-ins. But with only two people in the race, he said perhaps he should have left them out.... but he didn't and rules require a candidate get 50% +1 to avoid a runoff. Ain't Democrat politics grandiose?
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "A bad sign - It’s horrifying that the head of our Department of Justice is just as big a liar as the president." -- Hmmm.. who sent this in Pip Van Winkle? My guess it was sent by a Democrat who's just completed a rehab from DNC "Kool-Aid" and suddenly remembered the Obama/Comey/Holder/Lynch "reign of error"
---
L-E story: "Dennetta Franks, the 17-year-old Columbus foster girl found dead in Atlanta nearly two months ago, is listed as a suspect in an attempted carjacking along with two teens now being charged with her death. * The incident occurred on Sept. 19, which was 12 days after Franks ran away from a Holiday Inn Express at 7336 Bear Lane in Columbus. When she disappeared, she was under the 24/7 supervision of a guardian from Cedar Tree Children and Family Services, an organization responsible for juveniles awaiting placement into a home by the Department of Family and Children Services, according to police and DFCS officials."

About Cedar Tree Family and Children Services:

Question: Why was a home" "licensed to house 6 male adolescents between the ages of 12-18." given a 17 year old female to look after? Seems this situation needs to be investigated much deeper than obviously has been so far.

Alabama voters have a huge decision to make.. to elect a Republican who's Party and Voting Base have morals, or a Democrat who's Party thrives on moral chaos.
