From the"hmmm... remember when the shoe was on the other foot" department - Online headline: "The most controversial aspect of Trump's speech led to Democrats booing him and shouting 'that's not true'" -- Hmmm, and what was the difference back in 2009 when South Carolina Representative Joe Wilson shouted out, "You LIE!" at Obama? The difference was that mainscream media excoriated Wilson or inappropriate behavior...instead of agreeing with him.
---
I tied to stay up to watch Maxine Waters' respond to Trump's speech, but when I switched back and forth to BET TV, I went on to bed about 11:10 because BET TV hadn't stopped running it's regularly scheduled line up.. I do have one question only BET TV can answer... If BET TV wanted to showcase the future of blacks growth in America, why didn't it schedule Dr Ben Carson to spell out how blacks will benefit under the Trump plans rather than Maxine Waters who has no clue?
---
You know..DIMocrats basically "took a knee" when President Trump strongly stated that Americans STAND for our National Anthem. Network TV was amiss in not focusing on their disrespect.
---
When are DIMocrats going to learn.. or at least remember how wrong Pelosi has lead them?
Last night, hardly any stood unless Pelosi did.. do they not remember her telling them not to read OObamaCRAP before they ]voted "for: it?
---
You know, there's a difference now, when President Trump presents a goal and says he can get it done...it's a personal promise, not a campaign one.. and I believe him.
---
It was pretty evident during Trump's speech that there is a strong need to restore strong respect of our country by our people...Sadly, it was demonstrated that illegal aliens are not our only group we must pay attention to... none were so disrespectful as the Congressional DIMocrats.
---
Trump just signed an order to restore Gitmo as our containment and interrogatory center for foreign combatants.. Trump will be remembered as our "Gitmo" president..
As in "Git! Mo! DONE"!
---
It really gets me that that FaceBook guru 6uckerberg says he can't prove or "disprove" the charges of Russian interference with Trump. Excuse me, but the investigation being conducted is not trying to "disprove" anything, but the fact that Mueller still cannot "prove" anything connecting Trump, yet is ignoring obvious proof of the Hellary/DNC connection with the false Russian dossier about Trump proves neither 6uckerberg nor Mueller are interested in searching for the truth.
---
From the "how to answer without actually answering the question on the table" department - Online headline/story: "Hillary Clinton addresses why she didn’t fire the campaign aide accused of sexual harassment * “So I very much understand the question I’m being asked as to why I let an employee on my 2008 campaign keep his job despite his inappropriate workplace behavior,” she continued. “The short answer is this: If I had it to do again, I wouldn’t.” -- First, the "short answer" is not necessarily the correct answer.. as in this case.. but the real question everyone post on her FaceBook page, is. "Why didn't you 'fire' Slick Willie and support his victims the first time you caught him in "inappropriate workplace behavior"?
Hmm-- maybe this was the origin.. in thought only, of her famous excuse of either, "I was before/against it before I was against/for it"
---
You know, the DIMocrat leadership opinion was in lockstep against the Republican Tax Cut bill, and now are in lockstep with a different "opinion" about the FISA memo the Republicans are sending to Trump to get released to to the public. Keep it up DIMocrats...your base, which is getting great relief from the Tax Cut bill, will also be remembering your objection to transparency.
---
Will someone...anyone , particularly a DIMocrat .. please explain what ex-Bleep Veep Biden's family values are.. one son had an affair with his brother's widow, and has taken up residence with her screwing up both sets of his son's grandchildren, and VP Biden said he was "fine" with that, and now we hear his niece has plea bargained her way out of grand theft charges by an unnamed source paying off $110,000.00 she stole via "identity theft" of a good friend. This sounds like a "pilot" episode of "Desperate DIMocrats of the White House"
---
So Cleveland's Indians baseball team is going to replace Chief Wahoo with, basically, a "?" beginning this season.. What a desperate kowtow! Oh! I have a suggestion for a sleeve and cap emblem to replace Chief Wahoo.. in fact two suggestions.. First, a DIMocrat politician waving a "PC" Flag, or... and my favorite.. the popular "dodo" emoji.

From the "irony at it's most opportune time" department - L-E headline/story: "Broken toilet forces plane with 85 plumbers aboard to turn around * It’s a joke with no punch line, as 85 plumbers on a Norwegian flight headed for Germany discovered Saturday when their plane had to return to Oslo because of a broken toilet" -- Unfortunately, it was a problem that had to be addressed from the outside..Of course, the silver lining of this cloud is that 85 plumbers arrived about 3 hours late for their destination.. maybe the plumbers felt the frustration their customers feel when they arrive late to fix a toilet.
---
Soapbox Moment: Would someone send this to the Columbus DA's office BEFORE the Upatoi killers are sentenced? Online story: "Ex-con suspected in murder of Oregon model found dismembered in BMW * A felon who was recently released from prison and moved back in with his mother is suspected in the slaying of a young model in Oregon, whose dismembered body was found in luggage packed in the trunk of a BMW, according to reports Tuesday. * The Oregonian reported that Jeremiah “Jeremy” Johnston, 35 — currently on probation for another (crime) in a string of drug charges, according to law enforcement sources and court records — allegedly tried to commit suicide by slashing his throat and wrists before police could arrest him Thursday, but he was unsuccessful and was apprehended." -- You know, we have three people in Columbus, GA in pre-trial activity for brutally killing a woman, her teen son, and her tween granddaughter.. and while we can muster up the strength to "forgive them", there's no way these animals should ever be in a situation that could put them back on the streets. We're not talking about a simple murder.. not even an accidental one, or one of temporary insanity.. No, they bludgeoned one, then another, then another.. thank goodness there wasn't a 4th, 5th, or more members of the family there. They didn't wrongfully kill one and feel sobering remorse or regret..that could be looked at a a possible aspect for feeling there was an element of humanity in them.. NO, they killed.. and killed and killed again and may not have stopped if more were there. Life without possibility of parole is not fair to society.. there is only one sentence.. whether by plea bargaining or full blown trial.. all three must be put to death.. Civility demands this!
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Rep. Joe Kennedy rips Trump, Republicans in Democratic State of the Union response" -- You know, when you're not even present at the actual event, and you've written your speech before the president even gave his.. it's not a response, it's an assault. What's so tough about not understanding that if you want someone to agree with you, to take your opinion seriously as constructive, you must also show some acceptance on some things they say? Who among the DIMocrats can absolutely disagree with Trump's assessment of OObamaCRAP..it was/is the pits! It has done nothing to help anyone. Or who among DIMocrats cannot.. no., will not, praise the positive effect on the confidence of the American citizenry that the TAX CUT bill has infused in our economy?
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Trump touts black employment rate, Congressional Black Caucus offers no reaction" -- Hmmm... and? Remember, that after President Trump elevated the Martin Luther King, Jr complex in Atlanta to National Park status, the same CBC unanimously voted to shut it down.
---
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says the owner of the Washington Redskins needs to look at what the Cleveland Indians owner has done..No, Roger Goodell. YOU need to look at what NFL players have done disrespecting what our military, veterans, and law enforcement officers have done to make YOUR job even possible.
---
L-E headline: "City workers may get pay raises" -- What's sad is that the Mayor doesn't understand that sales tax revenues should be rising due to the Trump TAX CUT plan putting more disposable income in Columbus area workers' wallets which will increase available funds to the City. She's backing into the solution...now.. if she can only get new companies to WANT to come to Columbus.
---
L-E headline: "Amazon, Buffett, JPMorgan tackle US health care ‘tapeworm’ -- Good move... healthcare companies/insurers have intentionally bypassed the consumer in setting up coverage because healthcare companies/insurers have benefited from consumers not having knowledge of the real costs nor having open market competition to choose from. I have recently opened up use of my Medicare policy, and the first thing I found out was that using Medicare for my doctor's office visit cost me more than when we worked together as a self-pay "customer".
---
Why does mainscream media portray "right leaning politicians" as evil? Let's face it, if you're not heading in the right direction, you're heading into the WRONG direction.

Tuesday, January 30, 2018

Good grief.. ABC has hired Chris Christie as a "contributor".. you have to consider this a match made in hell.
---
Hellary made a spectacle of herself at the Grammys looking like she was reading a book, but we know how DIMocrats are averse to reading anything, but if she wants to read timely material, she should have read the books about Slick Willie's assaults on the women and apologized for covering up for him.
---
You know, instead of Hellary hiding behind a book looking like she was reading, it would have been funnier if she poked her head up from reading a federal indictment paper.
---
Hellary probably must have a hearing problem..she probably heard she was being asked to read as a "Granny", not in the " Grammy"
---
Online headline: "Grammy Awards ratings down sharply from 2017 in early Nielsen numbers" -- Hmm remember those high school days when a schools fans in the gym for a basketball game would pull out newspapers and appear to be reading them when the opposing team took the court? That what Hellary "reading" a book looked like to me.. ironically, though the "book" was based on gossip, it was probably more honest than the Grammy Awards.
---
Soapbox Moment: President Trump just appointed a new head of the HHS.. a former Senior Executive at Eli Lily Pharmaceuticals. Trump assigned him the specific task of exposing why drug prices are so high and climbing. I'm hoping this will be the focus, I wat to talk about my experience with Benicar, In 2005, as I was dealing with a lung cancer issue, my Dr, prescribed Benicar for high blood pressure.. The first bottle of 30 cast less than $58.00. Last year, Benicar became replicative as a generic. At the time, I was paying $254.00 a bottle of 30 at Sams Club. In February 2016, I got a refill of a Benicar generic at Walgreens or $92.00, and today, less than a year of being "generic", I can buy a bottle of 30 generic Benicar for about $18.00, and I've seen it advertised at under $11.00. I'm all for free enterprise, but when a company raises it's prices annually.. at time 2 or 3 times in a year, far in excess of inflation simply because it has "copyright protections", then that is pretty much "gouging", and this practice should be exposed... and ..stopped. Let's face it, when a company gets a medicine to market, all the development expenses are figured into the initial pricing, and increases in retail after that are just greed.
---
Online headline: "Magic Johnson calls for firings amid Michigan State sexual assault scandal" -- Hmmm... In all fairness... you know a "goose/gander" thing.. maybe Magic Johnson should open up about how and when he contracted "AIDS" before throwing anymore stones.
---
Online headline/story: "FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepping down * FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepped down Monday as the agency’s No. 2, multiple sources familiar with the matter told NBC News. * McCabe will remain on the FBI payroll until he is eligible to retire with full benefits in mid-March, the sources said. * One source familiar said McCabe was exercising his retirement eligibility and characterized McCabe’s decision as "stepping aside."" -- Good grief.. with the scandal of McCabe's wife's huge campaign donations from Hellary associated groups, Trump should fire him now, and revoke his pension plan..America deserves.. and should be entitled to an un-politically-fettered FBI!
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Maxine Waters to respond to Donald Trump's State Of The Union speech" -- While not the "official" DIMocrat "response", this will probably be more accurate of the DIMocrat "ideals". It'll be carried on BET.. I'm going watch the DNC's version of "Waters World".. join me and skew the networks ratings figures. (Channel 862 on Charter/Spectrum)
---
From the "send his to all Hollywood women before they show up for casting calls or red carpet awards ceremonies" department:

----
Online story: "New Orleans city officials said on Thursday that more than 46 tons - or 93,000 pounds - of Carnival beads were among 7.2 million pounds of trash pulled from clogged catch basins along a five-block stretch of a downtown parade route, the Times-Picayune newspaper reported." -- Wow.. no wonder Katrina flooded the city... Looks like 93,000 pounds of beads were extracted along with over 7,100,000 pounds pf other "blockages".. I do wonder how many "bodies" were in there as well.
---
You know, if the producer of "Hamilton" does a sequel/revitalization of "The Wizard of Oz" with the same political message , he's going to have a rough time deciding on who will be the "Scarecrow". Every DIMocrat will want that part, and they are all equally qualified as none of them have a brain.
---
You know, if Congress puts $25 BILLION aside in a border security trust, that represent an investment of only $83.00 per 300,000,000 Americans. Sounds like a terrific bargain going forward.
---
One of the ways the new corporate tax cuts can help our economy is by allowing smart companies the opportunity to hold down/reduce consumer prices and get a bigger share of the market.
---
Saw what epitomizes lack o relationship skills creeping in to our society, and it's not just caused by cellphone communications. In Target yesterday, I saw kid's Valentine packages that come with erasers.. I guess so recipients can recycle cards to other people by erasing their name and the givers.

-----------------------
L-E headline: "One triple homicide suspect to plead in brutal 2016 slayings, a second withdraws plea" -- The DA's office should only offer 1 "plea deal".. That's to offer the (_@_)s the option for chemical vs bludgeoning deaths, and whether on the steps of the Court House today, or at Jackson Prison in a week.
---
From the "give me two signs of returning consumer confidence" department - L-E story: "Americans increased their spending 0.4 percent in December, a solid pace but slower than the big spending burst seen in November, while their saving rate fell to a more-than decade low." -- And naturally, unemployment in Columbus distanced itself further away than most of the state.. how about 'splaining this Mayor Tom-LYING-son...
---
From the "only in California" department - Online story: "Every time I think Democrats in California state government can’t stoop any lower, they outdo themselves. Some of their greatest hits in recent years include a gasoline tax hike that can’t be used to expand our roads; a sanctuary state policy that protects criminal illegal immigrants; and a new law to soften the penalty for knowingly exposing people to HIV. *The latest madness to come out of Sacramento is an effort by Assemblyman Ian Calderon to make it illegal for restaurants to offer plastic straws to customers who don’t ask for them." -- Hmm.. guess this means if I can recycle animal excrement into a biodegradable straw, it will be a hit in California fast food drive through lanes...
---
L-E story: "A man was killed early Monday in shooting at Lumpkin Park Apartments, Muscogee County Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley said." -- Good grief.. this is number 5, I believe, in less than a month of 2018.. Looks like a record year send-off for Mayor Tom-LYING-son..
---
Dual "get's it" L-E "soundoffs": "That conceptual illustration of 13th Street on Monday’s front page was lacking one thing: It should’ve had The Beatles walking on the crosswalk." and "Have you noticed the people who want to change our streets in Columbus didn’t grow up here? They’re in it for their own agenda. Leave 13th Street alone!" --Hmm.. and now the two biggest promoters.. former MidTown ED, Mayor Tom'_LYING-son wants to move to Washington, and current MidTown ED just announced she was leaving town as well.
---
L-E headline: "MCSD board votes no on using holiday as makeup class day" -- Hmmm... guess most of the MCSB did nor want students to hear about the great job President Trump has done over the past year.
---
L-E headline: "N. Korea cancels event, blames S. Korean media" -- Hmmm..My take is that Kim Jong Oooops could not afford Uber fare for his folks to get there.
---
L-E headline.story: "House GOP votes to release secret memo * Democrats called the 31/2-page document a dangerous effort to build a narrative to undercut the department’s ongoing Russia investigation, using cherry-picked facts assembled with little or no context." -- Hmmm.. you know, DIMocrats blubber for transparency.. as long as it's not about DIMocrats. Now, how transparent is THIS?
---
L-E story: "A member of the Board of Equalization in Muscogee County is seeking $50,000 from the city for expenses, lost wages and mental anguish stemming from an unsuccessful attempt to remove him from the board in 2016. * Alton Russell says he believes the Board of Tax Assessors’ effort to remove him from the position was in retaliation for his strong opposition to the “Thaw the Freeze” property tax initiative rejected by voters that same year. * But (Josh) McKoon, Russell’s attorney, believes the request for compensation is justified. * “Mr. Russell has been on the Board of Equalization for a number of years,” he said. “There was never any complaint about his conduct or decisions he made until he went down to a meeting of our City Council and exercised his First Amendment right to voice his opinion on the mayor’s proposal to alter the tax freeze. And then, within 24 hours of that he finds himself subjected to a complaint that required him to retain council and to fight a legal process simultaneously in the Muscogee Grand Jury and the Muscogee Superior Court." -- Hmmm .. any .. and all .. fines/penalties should be paid for out of the pockets of the BOE members that colluded to remove Alton Russell in his matter.. and manner.

Hmmm... The NCAA president has been exposed for having known about 37 sexual assaults involving Michigan State athletes.. that weren't properly addressed.. And MSU's head football coach knew of that 16 of those assault accusations have been filed against his players. Makes you wonder how many NFL accusations have been filed and whether NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell knows. Maybe Roger Goodell will get to "take a few knees in his groin".
---
You know, with as many sexual assaults being brought up against celebrity men, perhaps their best defense will be that before those happened, they had forgotten to mention they had already decided to consider themselves transgendered women..
---
From the "this is going to far" department - Online story: "Actress Nicole Eggert is accusing actor-director Scott Baio of having "molested" her repeatedly when she was 14 until she was 17. * In a series of tweets Saturday morning, the former Charles in Charge and Baywatch star told another Twitter user commenting on Baio's support for President Donald Trump, "Ask @scottbaio what happened in his garage at his house when I was a minor. Creep." -- Hey, Nicole Eggert... what were you doing being at Scott Baio's garage.. ... repeatedly...
---
I have a smidge of sympathy for the children brought in illegally by their parents, but zero sympathy for the parents...If there is a compromise on the table for a pathway for citizenship, it should only be for the children (and a set program to achieve it must be followed) and their parents and "chain" relatives should be prohibited from even visiting our country. Their DACA children can go back to their home country to visit them.
---
Trump says any deal involving DACA will require them paying taxes...if so, they need to be given a "Tax Identification Number", but not a Social Security number until they actually acquire citizenship.
---
Tollie Strode had a "kickoff" rally for hos at-large District 10 campaign on Saturday.. It was a packed and electrified audience, and his plans were dynamite. He has one announced opponent.. John House.. another good candidate.. we sure could use.. no, benefit, from both these men serving the Columbus community. I'm going to approach Col. House on changing his focus to run for Mayor rather than Council.. Both these men love Columbus, and Columbus would doubly benefit if both serve us.
---
Online headline/story: "Reporter at Kentucky shooting learned that suspect was her son * The mother and other family members declined to comment, the report said. * The suspect in a Kentucky school shooting that left two teenagers dead has been identified as Gabe Parker, the son of the Marshall County Daily Online editor ( http://www.marshallcountydaily.com/ ) . * When Parker’s mother, Mary Garrison Minyard, heard gunfire had broken out at the Marshall County High School in Benton on Tuesday, she rushed to the scene only to learn the suspected shooter was her own son" -- As hard as it is to imagine the reality of a student killing other students, it must have been a nightmare to the mother of the shooter.. not only was the killer her son, but she couldn't write anything about it and blame the NRA or others..
---
From the "headline couldn't explain it any better" department - Online headline/story: "Beyond stupid: Florida court declares it’s ILLEGAL to grow food in your own front yard * The front-garden debacle in Florida’s Village of Miami Shores first began a few years ago, when the municipality decided to crack down on gardening. Tom Carroll and Hermine Rickets, homeowners who’d lived in the area for 17 years, were “advised” to tear down the vegetable garden in their front yard. Town officials had changed the zoning laws, making the practice of growing food in your front yard strictly prohibited. The officials told Carroll and Rickets that they would face fines of up to $50 per day if they failed to dig up their garden" -- You know.. I can see where a Community Homeowners Association might adopt a standard such as "no vegetable gardens" in front yards, but an outright ban by community politicians is a bit much.. in fact.. it's basically totalitarianism.. and has to be unconstitutional by America's standards of freedoms.
---
From the "all of a sudden, liberals are confessing to all kinds of transgressions" department - Online headline/story: "Dershowitz: I Wouldn't Have Campaigned for Obama If I Knew About Farrakhan Pic * Harvard Law Professor and longtime Democrat Alan Dershowitz said he would not have campaigned for then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) if he knew about the future president's photo op with Louis Farrakhan. * Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, is a "virulent anti-Semite and anti-American," Dershowitz said on "Fox & Friends." -- My guess is Dershowitz had no women accusing him of indiscretions, and he felt left out of all the free national headlines others were getting.
---
L-E headline: "2016 UPATOI SLAYINGS * After 2 years, suspects head to trial in deaths" -- You know, why hasn't the victims' family... and our community as a whole been given what the Constitution says.. a "speedy" trial...For justice to be a deterrent, it must be administered fairly and swiftly.
---
An 'almost get's it' L-E "soundoff": "Two Atlanta Democrats are sponsoring bills allowing local governments to alter, conceal or remove Confederate markers, memorials or monuments. Can you image the outrage if someone did that to MLK historical markers?" -- Since the Congressional Black Caucus voted "NO" to keeping the government open, we can only surmise that the CBC knew it was shutting down the Martin Luther King, Jr National Park that President Trump had recently signed into existence..
---
From a "beyond help" LIV's L-E "soundoff": "They are not "illegal aliens" as one writer wrote in. Your words crush and destroy people. They are undocumented individuals with kind hearts. They are our neighbors and our friends." -- You know.. I'm betting my house that this "soundoffer" has probably said the same thing about some serial killer still alive on Death Row..that he's now "kind hearted" and was someone's neighbor and friend..
---
Ruth Bader Ginsburg.. the anachronistic U.S. Supreme Court Justice, is nearly 85 but says she won't retire. America's best bet is that Trump will be re-elected, and she won't make it to 92..
---
You know.. liberals just refuse to ask themselves why Obama didn't reform the immigration policy during his first two years of his presidency when he had a majority in the House AND 60 votes in the Senate which made his legislation pretty much
"fail proof". The truth is that Obama didn't want immigration reform as "law of the land".. what he wanted was to keep the issue on the front burners to campaign on. because, he'd lose his re-election if voters experienced the reality of a truly open border.
---
From the "put this in Mayor Tom-LYING-son's pipe and smoke it" department - Online headline/story: "Pedestrian deaths and environmental concerns threaten Florida's high-speed train project * It launched to a fanfare two weeks ago: the first privately funded US express passenger railway in decades, a new start for long delayed plans, and a “green” alternative to Florida’s increasingly congested highways. *Yet for executives of Brightline, an ambitious $3bn venture that will eventually ferry travellers from the theme parks of Orlando to the beaches of Miami in just three hours, the champagne moment soon lost its fizz. * Even before passengers left the station at Fort Lauderdale on opening day, a pedestrian was struck and killed at a road crossing by a Brightline train meant to showcase a high-speed link to journalists and dignitaries. Two further crossing strikes in the next seven days, one of them fatal, reignited a contentious safety debate, even though the victims had all passed barriers. * Referring to Brightline’s recent application for a $1.6bn loan, in case a planned sale of $1.1bn in private equity bonds fell through, Steve Ryan (attorney for Citizens Against Rail Expansion in Florida" said: “If the market believed it, they would have been able to obtain the money in the private sector to do this, and wouldn’t need government subsidies and bonds.” -- First, it's only a 4 hour drive to Miami from Orlando. and you get there with a car to get you around the area at your own leisure...secondly, Steve Ryan is oh-so-correct is assessing that it it was potentially profitable.. viable, the private sector would be "all-in" on developing.
---
Online headline: "Ingvar Kamprad, who founded furniture giant IKEA, dies at 91" -- Hmmm.. you have to wonder if the Ikea founder's children had to buy the casket in a box and assemble it at home...
---
Online story: " U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, a moderate Democrat, said on Sunday he thought a new White House immigration plan was a good starting point, and he criticized House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi for dismissing it as a way to "make America white again." -- You know.. Pelosi just exposed her racist bias... when you parse her words, she's basically saying blacks and Latinos cannot participate in "Making America Great Again".
---
Remember the story about Hellary covering sexual harassment charges for Burns Strider, her 2008 campaign aide? Well, a follow up story says, "New sex harassment allegations have surfaced against a campaign aide Hillary Clinton reportedly refused to fire in 2008 following a similar complaint that he harassed a young subordinate with inappropriate kisses and suggestive emails. * The report Saturday on the BuzzFeed News website accuses the aide, Burns Strider, 52, of sexually harassing two young subordinates at a pro-Clinton super PAC during an 18-month span that began in November 2013. * Strider was fired in the summer of 2015 after an investigation at Correct the Record into his conduct, including around issues of sexual harassment, BuzzFeed reported." -- You know.. it's not about Hellary not winning... it's about "Thank God" she DIDN"T win...
---
Online headline: "Justice Ginsburg to skip State of the Union, signals she has no plans to retire" -- Hmmm... more likely than not Ginsburg will be retired before the State of the Union speech.. it's past her bedtime.
---
You know, after seeing Justice Ginsburgs "accessories" she wears while wearing her blak Court robe, I just bet she never looked good wearing a "little black dress" to cocktail parties either.
---
It is said that the five stages - denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance - are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost. .. Hmmm.. this works for most people.. but not for DIMocrats...DIMocrats will not accept Trump's win, nor Hellary's loss.
---
Online story: "It might have seemed like a good idea at the time to change the Smith & Wesson name to American Outdoor Brands(NASDAQ: AOBC) as a way of signifying the new direction the company was taking, but the decision to go after the rugged outdoor market might not have been fully informed. * here was logic behind abandoning Smith & Wesson as the corporate name, even if it seemed foolhardy to take down such a well-known brand from the marquee. * Ever since acquiring Battenfeld Technologies in 2014, the firearms manufacturer sought to downplay the role guns had in its business while pointing out the outdoors market was orders of magnitude larger." -- "logic"? What's logical about dropping one of the most recognized brand names in the world? To me it screams, "we are not proud of our product!".. Well, if a company is not proud of it's product, why does the company feel that it's customers will stay loyal to them?
---
Online headline/story: "COLUMBUS COUNCIL * Planner pitches project to remove lanes as way to help revive 13th Street * Hall advocates cutting the number of main travel lanes on 13th Street from four to two — one lane in each direction." -- Good grief.. you know, about 30 years ago, the GA DOT was wanting to make 13th Street a parallel 5-lane artery for Macon/Wynnton Road to offer an alternative route during weather or other disasters, and now Council is seriously considering narrowing that road to 2-lanes? Has anyone on Council ever seen the traffic line-up during rush hours for folks wanting to get back and forth to Phenix City? Obviously not.. Oh.. and who, in their right mind, would park on 13th and have to try to back out in bumper-to-bumper traffic.. Does Council not realize that whether it's "them" or another "special interest group", a planning firm is only going to come back with recommendations that fit in with the results the "special interest group" WANTS to hear?
---
62... that's the number of new parking spaces created at Columbus High School with $935,000.00 of tax dollars. That's over $15,000.00 PER SPACE. Now, the 2015 SPLOST wrestling room project at CHS is in limbo, because the only truly useful location for building the $750,000.00:$312.00 per square ft building is in the previously existing parking lot.
---
Uber-LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Give it up, David (not my Senator) Perdue. You are no match for Sen. Dick Durbin … not even close." -- Hmmm.. could Columbus Mayor Tom-LYING-son submitted this herself? Thank God Sen David Perdue is not like DICK Durbin! Can you imagine the chaos if DICK Durbin were cloned?
---
L-E headline: "Should classes be held on Presidents Day? School Board votes on issue on Monday" -- NO! ... but since this is not the likely outcome, then the MCSD should spend all day Presidents Day highlighting all the positive things going on in America since Trump has become our President.
---
From the "how does mainscream media lie to you; let me count the ways" department - L-E headline/story: "GOP senators: Trump must show restraint in Russia probe * The senators, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Susan Collins of Maine, also urged special counsel Robert Mueller to review whether Trump tried to fire him last June, an accusation the president has labeled “fake news.” -- Graham.. Collins? Two Republicans? RINO's at best, but they are representative of Republicans when mainscream media wants to go after Trump.
---
You know.. it's not "ego" that makes President Trump defend his work, his genius or his stability.. he has to do so because mainscream media keeps blasting away at all three of those aspects, and if Trump doesn't defend himself.. mainscream media gains "credibility
by his omission and silence.

From the "say what?" department - Online story: "The Massachusetts Congressman has been selected to deliver the Democratic response to the president’s speech in what may be an appeal to Trump’s voter base. * “While President Trump has consistently broken his promises to the middle class, Congressman Kennedy profoundly understands the challenges facing hard-working men and women across the country,” according to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi." -- "has broken his promises to the middle class"? What "middle class: is Pelosi talking about? The one that's gotten TAX CUTS, over 2 million new jobs, and the lowest unemployment rates in the last 18 or more years..... of=r the "middle class" that the DIMocrats have constantly voted against during the 1st year of Trump's presidency?

From the "what is it with California federal judges" department - Online headline/story: "US judge blocks Trump's attempt to deport Cambodians without due process * A federal judge late on Thursday said President Donald Trump's administration cannot immediately deport 92 Cambodian citizens from the United States without first allowing them a chance to challenge the action in court. * U.S. immigration authorities conducted raids last October and arrested approximately 100 Cambodians, many of whom had fled the Khmer Rouge government in the 1970s. * After arriving in the United States, the Cambodians had been convicted of various criminal charges, and ordered deported years ago. * In a ruling on Thursday, U.S. District Judge Cormac Carney in Santa Ana, California federal court ruled that 92 of the Cambodians still in custody could raise "serious questions" about the validity of their underlying convictions and deportation orders.* The government said the Cambodians' request should be rejected because they knew they could be deported at any instant, an argument the judge called insensitive." -- Good grief.. they had "due process".. they crimes and were convicted, and current deportation is just following out their sentences that previous administrations have failed to do.

Georgia spends over $2.5 BILLION on police protection.. about 7.56% of revenues.. which places GA in the Top 10 of states spending on police protection ( https://www.aol.com/article/finance/2018/01/26/states-spend-most-least-on-public-safety/23344936/#slide=7225014#fullscreen ) . Georgia is also number 10 of states spending the most on education ( https://www.gobankingrates.com/saving-money/states-spend-least-education/#12 ) GA also ranks 24th in Violent Crimes; 35th in a overall crimes ( https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings/crime-and-corrections/public-safety ) What are we doing with the money? It's definitely not working..

I have my own feelings about "Deja Vu" that researchers and scientists seem to overlook... A child's brain is also created with the union of male/female cells. Brains work a lot like the hard drive of a computer.. they store data for future reference, and with a hard drive we know such data can be "erased", but we also know that the data is not really "lost". So be it with "brains" - Babies start out with pretty much an empty "hard drive" , but it's a "hard drive" formed and passed on by the parents. Basic brain function is already present, so why cannot memories be present, though "erased" as well.. and when something repairs access to that data, the memory returns as tough we have always known that data..just like "recovery software" can find "erased" data on a computer hard drive. I know I have visited places for the first time, and felt I had been there before.

Poor Hellary... hell will just not go away.. not only are the "ghost" of Politics Present haunting her, she's also being visited by the "ghost" of Politics Past.. now a cover-up of an adviser on her 2008 campaign has come to light, and we are seeing that the next "ghost" she sees may be the "ghost" of Prison Future.

Mark 6uckerberg says FaceBook has neither proof Trump did or did not have collusion with the Russians during the campaign... 6uckerberg has no proof Trump didn't do it.. only Trump can "prove" that but our laws do not require such from him.. 6uckerberg can only have proof if Trump did something recorded in FaceBook data... which 6uckerberg says FaceBook doesn't.. On the other hand.. there's PLENTY of proof that Hellary DID collude with the Russians on the "Trump dossier". Hey, Mueller, what's the status i=of Hellary investigation?

From the "speaking of Deja Vu" department - Online headline/story: "New texts show 'fix was in' for Clinton email probe, GOP lawmakers say * Newly revealed texts between Trump-bashing FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show the “fix was in” during Hillary Clinton's email probe in 2016, Republican lawmakers say. * The latest batch of text messages between Strzok and Page, who were involved romantically, revealed their private conversations regarding Clinton -- and their concern about being too tough on her during the investigation into her private email system use. The text messages indicate they were wary of a backlash from Clinton if she were to win the presidential election. * "It doesn’t appear anyone wanted her charged,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said on Fox News' “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” -- The real question to be asked is, "Why didn't the FBI immediately initiate discovery of the 50,000 text messaged between Strzok and Page when it was first realized rather than announce "they" were lost, and yet have been easily found since by simple inquiries?

Now that Councilor Henderson is running for mayor, I've sent him a direct e-mail pertinent to his future.. in the past 10 years.. maybe more, I have not received a single response from him on any subject I've contacted Council about.. Will let you know what Henderson does..
"Skip...It's been since Feb of 2016 since any public discussion has been offered concerning the construction and costs of the roundabout at River and Bradley Park. Since it may probably fall into your term, and there is activity happening, is the design still the same as presented om 2016, and what are the current projected costs."

You know, our 1st Amendment is not so much about "free" speech as HONEST speech. Mainscream media seems to forgotten how important the truth is. The US Supreme Court has already ruled that you cannot claim 1st Amendment Rights about yelling "FIRE" in a crowded theater UNLESS there IS a FIRE. Seems to me, mainscream media and DIMocrats are constantly yelling "fire" about unproven Trump stories

From the "way too little, way too late" department - Online headline/story: "Super Bowl to include salute to Medal of Honor recipients * After receiving backlash for rejecting an advertisement pitched by a group of U.S. military veterans, the National Football League announced Thursday it will include Medal of Honor recipients in next month’s Super Bowl. * Hershel “Woody” Williams, 94, who fought in the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II, and other Medal of Honor recipients will participate in the coin toss ceremony prior to the Feb. 4 game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots in Minneapolis, the league announced." -- While the Medal of Honor winners have proven their courage.. their bravery.. on the field of battle, let's pray that they walk off the field if any players "take a knee". Sorry, NFL, I... hmmm.. you know, "Sorry NFL" pretty much says it all.

Online story: "Georgians may wind up paying a massive $3.6 billion more in state taxes over the next five years because of changes made last month in the federal tax code. * That’s largely because the federal tax law touted by President Donald Trump and Congress limited or eliminated some of the deductions Georgians have used when figuring their state taxes in the past and made it far more likely that ratepayers will use the standard federal deduction, rather than lowering their state taxable income using itemized deductions." -- Good grief! People who can claim the standard deduction of no more than $24,000 are not the people who will benefit from a standard deduction.. the generous will still use the itemized forms.

Casey Cagle, a leading candidate in the governor’s race, told WABE-FM on Wednesday that a paper ballot system would preserve election integrity. * Secretary of State Brian Kemp, who oversees the voting system and is also running for governor, blasted Cagle’s comments." -- You know... going back to paper ballots will only re-open the problems of "ballot stuffing" that electronic voting was to eliminate.. If there is concern of electronic voting, then hire an IT company that v-can "fix" the issue,, don't dump it back in the backroom politicos hands to return to the past ways.

Why not finally make English the official language in GA.. the US for that matter.. the first goals of legal immigrants should be to LEARN English and the customs of the state and country. While knowing other languages is a plus in many ways, all Georgians should be able to discuss public and legal issues in a common language.

L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * Board will consider adding makeup day * The news release didn’t say what the recommendation will be from Superintendent David Lewis’ administration, but MCSD communications director Mercedes Parham told the Ledger-Enquirer in a phone interview that Lewis plans to recommend using the Feb. 19 Presidents Day holiday to make up one day of instructional time. * The state allows school districts to miss as many as four of the scheduled 180 days of classes per academic year without having to make up the time. MCSD is at the limit: Jan. 17-18, because of the snow and ice, and Sept. 11-12, because of Tropical Storm Irma." -- Why? Why make up dates when the state says we don't have to do so.. I see two possibilities.. first, it's about the money...another day times 32,000 students equals pretty big bucks.. but addressing this could also be accomplished by moving a future "teachers work day" to February 19th, and students just attend regular classes on the day the next "teachers work day" was scheduled.. the other reason is political.. liberal;s will do anything to avoid giving President Trump "his day".

L-E headline: "Number of homeless in Columbus down slightly" -- Hmmm.. in other words, the Mayor's program.. "End Homelessness in 10 years" is another of her failed promises and waste of tax dollars.

L-E headline: "Court halts ‘unnecessary and cruel’ execution * The U.S. Supreme Court halted the execution of 67-year-old Vernon Madison on Thursday to further review his attorneys’ claims that strokes have left Madison mentally incompetent — to the point that he no longer remembers the killing — and that his sentence is unconstitutional. * Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall said Friday he was disappointed in the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to delay the execution of an inmate convicted of killing a police officer in 1985, saying “justice is again delayed” for the officer’s family." -- Wait a minute.. if the killer had been executed in a timely manner, the stroke would never happened and the killer's mental capacity today would not be a consideration..
Simply.. another "court fail"

L-E headline: "Senate Dems seek to protect Mueller from being fired" -- You know, if DIMocrats spent as much energy, time, and money on helping America grow as they do on trying to derail Trump's plans, America would already be MORE than Great Again!

L-E headline/story: "Head of Planned Parenthood steps down * Cecile Richards, who led Planned Parenthood through 12 tumultuous years, is stepping down as its president." -- You know.. I cannot wait for the future when time travel is realized... and I think the first mission should be to send back medical experts to discuss abortions with all the mothers of the people who are supporting partial birth abortions.. I'm betting mothers in past would take the steps necessary to make sure these people were never born.
---
You know.. trying to insert "common sense" into a conversation with a liberal about the need for "the Wall" is about as effective as TALKING to a wall.. You'd think DIMocrats would be very knowledgeable about how a "wall" works... but you have to understand ":common sense" first.

Online story: "President Donald Trump has denied a bombshell report that he had ordered the firing of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, head of the probe into his campaigns ties to Russia, calling it "fake news". * The New York Times reported on Thursday that Trump ordered Mueller to be fired last June, one month after Mueller had been appointed. Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey the previous month" -- You know, if the New York TABLOID only paid journalists based on "All the News that's Fit to Print". it could let most of the current staff go.
---
You know, the one thing Robert Mueller has failed to address is whether his mission is to bring out the unvarnished truth or take down President Trump. To me, this disqualifies Mueller as lead investigator.
---
54 Congressperson.. 51, naturally, are DIMocrats... have sent a letter to President Trump asking his to reconsider Obama's "pot" guidelines.. Guess there's something about "pot" that motivates politicians to want something to stick their hands into. You know, as long as there are federal laws in the books governing marijuana, it is NOT a states issue.

Online story: "Fifty years after it was seized by North Korea, the USS Pueblo remains in the rogue nation as a symbol of military success. * The Pueblo is the only U.S. Navy ship to ever be held captive by a foreign government, and the spy vessel was originally taken in 1968 during the height of the Cold War. * It currently sits in the Potong River in central Pyongyang on full display." -- Hey, President Trump... I'll hold yours, and the beers how many other of our soldiers it takes to bring the Pueblo back home!

Apparently, the Chinese are producing cloned monkeys.. I just wonder how they kept this under wraps so long.. I've always suspected Kin Jong Ooooops was one.

From the "you want whine with that Cheese Wiz" department - good grief, those DIMocrat "sanctuary city" mayors who boycotted an opportunity to defend their decision at the White House Mayors Conference based on the issue that are being singled out for intentionally breaking federal are the reason Trump won in 2016 and will win even bigger in 2020.
---
Speaking for the boycotting DIMocrat governors, Rahm Emanuel of Shicago said they were fighting for their ideals. IDEALS!.. What they should be fighting for is law and order, and for the safety of ALL the citizens of their communities.

You know.. a society cannot survive if people.. whether individuals, mayors or even governors.. are allowed only to live by and enforce the laws they like.
---
Now establishment Republicans are hem-hawing about releasing the FBI FISA memo circulating in Congress..they think...no.."feel" we can't handle it.. RELEASE THE KRAKEN!

I'm amazed at the horror stories involving Tide pods...and the fact that Tide is currently advertising use of pods. We tried the pods, but noticed a horrible odor lingering from our washing machine. We went back to the liquid and the odor disappeared.
---
You know...there's a question mainscream media hasn't...and is not likely to ask itself...and it's "how good would our economy be if DIMocrats recognized that "they lost" had been on board with Trump's economic plans from the gitgo?
---
You know...the main reason DIMocrats are so anxious to derail Trump is that DIMocrat's cannot keep asking for votes when the voters are benefiting from the successes of Trump's decisions.
---
With the plethora of major companies announcing huge bonuses and expansion programs because of the Republican TAX CUT bill, you have to wonder about the silence of Government Motors... The unions got a big piece of the company, and the taxpayers got a $10 Billion dollar "shaft" job, so is Government Motors going to take part in sharing its new wealth with the rank and file ,, and public..or not?

So Environmental Experts oppose "the Wall"...hmmm..let's see if we can get a compromise with them.. From the "not quite what the L-E wants to print in the "regular paper" so it adds it as an electronic addition" department - L-E headline/story "SF supes oust acting mayor citing election * San Francisco supervisors chose a white man to serve as mayor until a June election, replacing the African-American woman temporarily serving in the position and infuriating activists in a city that is celebrated for its progressive politics but also has a dwindling black population. * The racial diverse Board of Supervisors booted acting Mayor London Breed by selecting another supervisor, Mark Farrell, as interim mayor in an emotional Tuesday night vote. Those who supported the move said Breed, who’s running for a full term as the city’s top leader, should not have a leg up on the seven other candidates in the June 5 contest. * “I’ve been pastor for 42 years now, and I’ve witnessed how so-called progressive white liberals have played the black community and have never been honest, straightforward participants in the welfare of black people,” the Rev. Amos C. Brown, president of the San Francisco branch of the NAACP, said Wednesday. * Despite San Francisco’s reputation as a sanctuary for all, the city’s population of black residents has plummeted from 100,000 in 1970 to fewer than half that today." --
Where do I even start parsing here? After a coin flip, we'll go with, “I’ve been pastor for 42 years now, and I’ve witnessed how so-called progressive white liberals have played the black community and have never been honest, straightforward participants in the welfare of black people,” the Rev. Amos C. Brown, president of the San Francisco branch of the NAACP," Hmmm you know, this pastor could say the same words in any city over 50,000 and be just as accurate and poignant as he is in the case in San Francisco..further thinking tells me to forget the other angles this story presents..

From the " epitome of FRUIT-ility" department - Online headline/story: "New California bill aims to protect citizens from gun suicides * Assemblyman Rob Bonta, D-Oakland, introduced AB1927, in order to bar people from buying a gun if they are struggling with suicidal thoughts or fear they are a danger to themselves. * Under the proposed bill, individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts can voluntarily submit their name to the state office responsible for background checks." -- California liberals are even stupider than "normal" liberals! -- "voluntarily submit their names"? Yeah..right like someone in a "funk" is going to know it themselves and admit it to others.. and have it be own their record for LIFE! DIMocrat Bonta should ask for a law to cut off all the fingers and thumbs of people not able to cope with life... or better yet, cut them off of all legislators so they can't write stupid laws like this!

L-E headline/story: "Columbus jobless rate 5.1 percent; labor chief calls it ‘very good year’ * BY TONY ADAMS * Columbus lost 200 jobs in December, however, the city still managed to add 500 jobs over the past 12 months, with Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler calling its a “very good year” for the area. * “All of the major indicators trended in the right direction,” he said. “I’m expecting the same will continue in 2018.” -- "Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler calling its a “very good year” for the area"? What irony.. "for the area"... Guess Commissioner Butler was weighing in that Columbus' Mayor Tom-LYING-son is in charge now and through 2018, and he Butler knows her .. thus Columbus'...limitations..

Congratulations to Easterseals West Georgia, and the volunteers/donors making the major expansion possible.. Loved this picture.. no DIMocrat politicians are in it... probably because none of them wants to be in a picture that promotes "Building Independence" as it goes against the DIMocrat Creed of making people dependent on them.

Uber-LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Just a thought: It’s possible that our mayor sees the black community as a vital part of our community and is not “playing the race card.” -- First, the L-E "soundoff" editor needs to disconnect the "hot line" between his and the Mayor's office.. but while "it IS possible" that Mayor Tom-LYING-son sees the black community as something else other than a "DIMocratic Party bloc vote"... it surely isn't likely.. probable .. or even plausible.

From "the poll truth and nothing but the poll truth" - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Poll: Trump trails Biden, Sanders by wide margin in 2020 * according to a recent CNN survey, conducted by SSRS shows potential 2020 contenders like Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders beating the Republican president by a wide margin. According to the survey, former Vice President Biden holds a 57 percent to 40 percent lead over Trump, while the U.S. senator from Vermont leads Trump by a 55 percent to 42 percent margin." -- Br'er Trump.. a twinkle in his eye, said.. Last week, a 4 page "memo" detailing FBI abuse of FISA warrants against the Trump campaign was circulated within the US House of Representatives.. Online story: "The bipartisan U.S. Conference of Mayors, whose annual winter meeting in the nation’s capital kicked off Wednesday, had been scheduled to sit down with Trump to talk about the opioid epidemic and infrastructure. But the group’s leader canceled the session, citing the White House’s "decision to threaten mayors and demonize immigrants yet again." * A prominent group of mayors meeting in Washington called off a scheduled White House meeting with President Donald Trump on Wednesday after the administration again threatened to withhold funding from nearly two dozen local governments they claimed aren’t following immigration laws. * Dozens of mayors still met with the president as scheduled — just not under the banner of the USCM, as had been planned" -- "bipartisan"? Only in the sense that there are Republican mayors, but the group that faltered are all DIMocrats...

From the "hey, Jewish Americans, are you listening?" department - Online story: "Former Secretary of State John Kerry is reportedly considering a presidential run in 2020.* Kerry met with Hussein Agha, an ally of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in London where he touted the idea when discussing the Middle East’s peace process, the Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday citing Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv. * In the meeting, Kerry suggested Abbas should “hold on and be strong” because Trump won’t be in the White House much longer. * Kerry even used “derogatory terms” to describe Trump and said Abbas should personally attack the President rather than the U.S., according to the report." -- It is beyond me why 70% of the Jewish community of the US supports DIMocrats.

From the "carrying the 'Fixer-Upper open floor plan model' a bit too far" department - Online story: St. Mary’s College, a Catholic secondary school in England, is in hot water after the school removed the exterior walls from the girls’ bathrooms, exposing the stall doors to an open hallway, a classroom and a security camera * The school, which is a self-governed private school for 11-to-17-year-olds, reportedly decided to renovate the bathrooms to feature an open floor plan in an attempt to reduce smoking, bullying and truant behavior in the restrooms * The boys’ stalls are reportedly undergoing similar changes" -- Wonder if St Mary's has saved a spot for Dr Larry Nassar to become it's in-house medical specialist when he gets out of jail in 175 years?

Remaining funds will be distributed in an efficient manner to children’s charities and it will then be closed." * One of the charity dinner's chief beneficiaries, Great Ormond Street Hospital, has also announced that it will return all of the money raised for it at the event." -- What is the "Great Ormond Street Hospital" thinking.. why return the money to the donors.. wouldn't that basically mean those men got an evening of "free groping"? the Hospital should just reroute the funds to a Men's Mental Health Facility or a Women's Abuse Recovery Center.

From the too much time and money available" department - Online headline/story: "Dozen camels disqualified from Saudi 'beauty contest' over Botox use * The dromedaries paraded down a dusty racetrack as judges rated the size of their lips, cheeks, heads and knees. Crowds of men watched from the bleachers, hooting when the beasts representing their own tribe loped down the track. * A dozen beasts have been disqualified from this year's Saudi "camel beauty contest" because their handlers used Botox to make them more handsome. * And for the Bedouin of Arabia, nothing is more essential than the camel, used for centuries for food, transport, as a war machine and companion." -- "companions"? Wonder what treatments Bedouins give to their female sheep and goats?

Where do DIMocrats get the idea that Obama's DACA order entitles those covered to American citizenship? Even the DACA name (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) states that this is a Deferred Action program.

JPMorgan just announced a $20 BILLION dollar bonus/minimum wage hike/investment plan because of the TAX CUT bill... and Starbucks is about to jump on board as well.. .maybe Starbucks will name a brew for Trump..I'm suggesting the "Make America GRIND Again".. grande double caffeine "Cup-America".

Apple, Disney, Starbucks.. with all the bonuses these liberal oriented companies hand-out to their employees, plus the executive bonuses, by the time November of 2018 and 2020 get here, no DIMocrat will have enough ion donations to be able to run a campaign...

It's somewhat ironic that all Senator UpChuck Schmoozer can do is read speeches on the empty Senate Floor, yet didn't bother to read the OObamaCRAP Bill before sending it back to Pelosi...hmmm... or, worse yet, he did read it and knew exactly how bad it was.

L-E headline/story: "Man on trial says he didn’t think shotgun was loaded * The young Columbus man accused of fatally wounding a friend while the two toyed with loaded shotguns in 2015 testified Wednesday that he didn’t know the gun he had was loaded and never meant to pull the trigger" -- Once again, the Jon Lovitz Defense... "didn't know it was loaded, didn't mean to pull the trigger, wasn't aiming at him... yeah! That's the Ticket!" Meanwhile, I'm looking for another jury-fail/slap on the wrist verdict..

L-E headline.story: "Proposed TAD project returns to Columbus Council despite concerns *
In December, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, who was absent from Tuesday’s meeting, said “it’s not the public’s role to subsidize private development.” She believed the first TAD referendum failed in 2007 because voters feared the funds would benefit private developers instead of distressed communities. * (Councilor) Davis said councilors recently received current revenue numbers for the six TADS that already exist. He said for three of them the revenue is zero; the other three combined are generating $90,000 in total revenue. And that’s impacting the city’s General Fund, he said." -- I'm surprised that Mayor Tom-LYING-son is on the correct side of this.. but probably for the wrong reasons.. she probably feels she hasn't gotten enough "return (political donations)" on her "investment" in going along with and creating the control zones going out Manchester Expressway towards the contractors' family enclave.
I'm against the TAD in general (as the 1st 6 show it is not financially favorable to the City), but the ingress/egress routes would have to disrupt existing neighborhoods and nature sites.

Longtime politico Col Retired John House has joined the Council Post 10 race.. Tollie Strode has previously announced as well.. both are good men.. just wish one of then[m would have thrown his hat into the Mayor's race.. My support goes to Tollie Strode, a West Point grad, and even though he's affiliated with the Democratic Party (not to be confused with the DIMocrats) in the past, lead a most successful defense against Mayor Tom-LYING-son's assault on homeownership in Columbus, and against the MCSD bringing in Camelot for special needs students. The great news is that either a will be welcomed change in Post 10. Too bad one can't be Councilor and he other Mayor..

From the "poll truth and nothing but the poll truth" department - Online story: "Americans blame President Donald Trump and congressional Democrats about equally for the three-day government shutdown that ended Monday with another stopgap spending measure, according to a new NBC News|SurveyMonkey poll. * 39 percent, think Democrats in Congress are responsible for the shutdown, which began early Saturday morning after Senate Democrats, citing insufficient * A similar share, 38 percent, blamed Trump for the shutdown. Just under 2 in 10 (18 percent) said Republicans in Congress were to blame. Taken together, however, the poll shows that a slight majority of Americans — 56 percent — blame the president and his party." -- While I'm sure DIMocrat spinmeisters are asking for a "recount", they are probably cussing NBC/SurveyMonkey out for wording a poll question in a way any DIMocrats could pick DIMocrats as their answer.
---
Reading about the number of settlements Congresspersons have made using taxpayer funds reminds me of the era o=in which Congressperson had "the House Bank". a system that covered their checks no matter whether their was money in them or not. Trump should have Sessions order forensic audits for all Congresspersons' accounts for the past 5 years, and if irregularities are found, then audit every year they have served in Washington. Sessions should start with the ones that have already resigned or declared they are not running for re-election

From the "real reason DIMocrat Senators broke from Schumer" department - Online headline/story: "Disney hands out $125 million in employee bonuses, credits Trump tax cuts * The Walt Disney Company announced Tuesday it will give a $1,000 cash bonus to 125,000 U.S.-based employees, for a whopping total of $125 million. And according to an internal memo obtained by The Wrap, Disney CEO Bob Iger said the bonuses come as a direct result of the tax reform bill passed by Republicans in December." -- "a direct result of the tax reform (CUT) bill passed by REPUBLICANS"? Hmmm.. Disney giving credit to REPUBLICANS and not "Congress" has DIMocrats rethinking their loyalty to Schumer and Pelosi..DIMs realize that no one will remember/care about the "shutdown" by November, but the voters will all remember who gave them their TAX CUT.
---
You know, with Apple, and now Disney, two icons of liberalism, not only giving out huge bonuses. but rightfully giving ALL the credit to Trump and the Republicans, DIMocrats realize that that the next election IS going to be only about the economy.
---
Most Republicans.. all RINOs and DIMocrats, still don't realize that American voters responded to Trump then, and support him now, because Trump identified the economy problems that the Republicans and DIMocrats ignored, and the voters knew Trump was a better .. no, ONLY choice to fix them. Republican candidates that embrace the "Trump movement" will get Trump supporters votes in November.

You know, if were not for the public confidence in the front line FBI agents, the Obama/Holder/Lynch appointed executives would have destroyed our confidence in the whole DOJ/FBI conglomeration.

From the "say what?" department - Online headline/story: "'Tricky as Hell': Biden Says GOP Would Blame Obama If He Revealed More About Russia Interference * Speaking recently to the Council on Foreign Relations, former Vice President Joe Biden said President Barack Obama would've been blamed if he revealed more intelligence on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. * Biden said. "I think we made the right decision. We knew what they were up to... delegitimiz[ing] the electoral process."" -- Hmmm... another open mic Biden outburst.. only this time Biden knew the mic was open.. What's relevant is that even though there was/is no "Russian" interference, the fact that Obama and Biden didn't speak out just shows it was the DIMocrats who were helping Hellary derail herself.

Online headline/story: "New California policy opens door to illegal immigrant voting * California this spring will begin automatically registering adults who obtain or renew a driver’s license to vote, including potentially large numbers of non-citizens and immigrants illegally living in the state. * The only way drivers who say they are legal won’t have their information sent to state voter rolls under the latest implementation of the California Motor Voter Act is if they opt out -- which opens the door to the potential of widespread voter fraud, according to critics of the plan." -- We HAVE to build "the Wall" and now it looks like we need to include Mexico AND California on the other side of it. No state has he right to undermine the 15th Amendment's qualification of CITIZENSHIP as a right to vote.. Based on suspected. and now guaranteed voter fraud, California NEEDS to be stripped of it's representation in Congress, and the Flag reduced back to 49 stars until California can demonstrate full compliance with US Constitution Amendments.
--
From above story: "California has since 2015 granted driver’s licenses to immigrants living illegally in the state. And an estimated 1 million of those immigrants are believed to have obtained a license by the end of last year. Under the new system, which begins April 1, anyone who already has a valid license and applies for renewal in person or by mail could potentially be added to the voter registration rolls by (SIMPLY.. and UNCHALLENGED) claiming they are legal. * You have an environment in California where citizenship is treated as a 'Don't ask don't tell' situation. You're setting the state up for a disaster." -- "Don't ask, don't tell"? Hmm where have we "heard" this before.. oh, yes by DIMocrats saying such policy in the military was wrong and that people should be able to declare themselves openly and serve.. guess DIMocrats don't feel that way about people declaring their citizenship status.
---
From the "John 8:32 - Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." department - Online headline/story: "FBI's Strzok allegedly dismissed Mueller probe: 'no big there there' * In the raw texts released by (Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron) Johnson's office, Strzok wrote: "you and I (Lisa Page) both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there’s no big there there." -- You know.. this clearly shows the intent of Mueller is to come up with a DIMocrat created and planned outcome.. This is way worse than WATERGATE ever was.
---
L-E headline: "MCSD board members Myers, Thomas won’t seek re-election" -- What a disappointment.. just when the tide seems to be turning and the wind begins to fill the MCSB sails with favorable air, the two that created the movement stick a pin in the balloon.. Now we are left with two robots running for those seats, and all gained will be lost. Frank.. as Marc Anthony assessed Brutus' stabbing of Caesar, "this was the most unkindest cut of all".
---
Online story: "A bill recently introduced in the Georgia General Assembly calls for the state to scrap its 16-year-old touch-screen voting system and replace it with a paper-based system." -- Good grief.. how does scrapping a 16 year-old technology and replacing it with a 6,000 year-old system of paper ballots make for more secure elections.. Wasn't the purpose of scrapping paper ballots for electronic one due to the backroom paper ballot stuffing/destruction antics of election officials?

From the "things heard in the past that impacted our future" department - L-E headline: "Celebrate National Peanut Butter Day" -- Or as we remember Brother Dave Gardner's poignant assessment..."Man cannot live by bread alone, he must have peanut butter." -- 1959... that's when Brother Dave's assessment of life made it all make sense, and George Washington Carver became my lifetime hero.
---
L-E headline/story: "Lawyer: Fatal shooting an accident * Jurors heard testimony Tuesday in the involuntary manslaughter case against Jarrett Marshall, charged in the June 26, 2015, fatal shooting of Trenton Hill, a “gun enthusiast” who that day was showing off his collection of eight or nine firearms outside his Andrea Drive home. * men were hanging out in a carport beside the vehicle when Hill and Marshall started playing with the guns, picking them up and pointing them at each other, a practice that for Hill was not unusual. “That’s just what Mr. Hill did. He played with his guns,” -- Good grief.. people like this do not need to be on the street.. ever again. but I'm betting on another "jury fail" and that we will see him back in court later on another charge involving guns.

Now, what I would really like to know is whether the client or us taxpayers are footing the legal bills.

DIMocrats can rant and rave all they want, but nothing says racism like DIMocrats shutting down the Martin Luther Ling, JR National Park within a couple of weeks of President Trump elevating the Atlanta Complex to National Park status.
---
Did anyone else notice that the nation did not collapse Saturday, Sunday or Monday when non-essential federal employees did not report to work?

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

UpChuck Schmoozer just saw his past.. and future .. sail before his eye's yesterday..before he spoke, the stock market hit a new high.
---
81 to 18....Schumer just found out he's no longer relevant while Trump's in office. He just had to backtrack under pressure of other DIMocrats who realized they will already be having to explain why they voted against tax cuts in their next re-election campaign.
---
One of our BC members.. very astute in the world of political and government interactions, reminded me that the DIMocrats.. including areal Congressman Bishop, will technically approve "the Wall" ... but they will not approve appropriations for actually building it.. another typical "I was for before I was against it" move.
---
DIMocrat spinmeisters are really sweating bullets trying to defend the DIMocrat positions on tax cuts and DACA, and the shutdown.
---
Mainscream media must be deaf..during the press meeting with Governor Huckabee's daughter, they kept asking her where Trump has drawn his line in the sand on various issues. When will mainscream media realize that Trump does not negotiate with anyone by putting all..any of, his cards on the table until the betting is over.
---
Before we elect or re-elect any more Congresspeople, we should ask them if they are going to represent us and America's best interests, or theirs and their party's.
---
Thank goodness that Marco Rubio did not win the Republican nomination..he'd have been zapped by Hellary, but..for arguments sake, let's assume Rubio did win.. well, Rubio pretty much showed his wimpy butt on Fox yesterday by saying he feels a DACA (DIMocrats Aiding/Abetting Criminal Aliens) should be part of the concession to UpChuck Schmoozer.
---
After listening to Rubio promoting a DACA solution be included in getting DIMocrat support of the CR bill in the Senate, I'm putting Rubio in the same category of Juan Williams and Geraldo ... when Fox brings Rubio on. "Click" goes the channel changer.
---
No matter what disappointments we're hearing about former FBI/DOJ political appointees, I firmly believe the rank and file working to keep us safe are on our side.
---
Revealing the Strzok/Page e-mail exchange showed how intentional Comey's lies have been.. Comey said no one knew of his decision to not bring charges up on Hellary before he was then making the announcement..yet..and it's very obvious, that not only did Strzok and Page know before that, but Loretta Lynch KNEW before Bill Clinton went aboard her plane. This even adds new fuel as to what Lynch may have told Clinton, and what Clinton may have promised Lynch if Hellary won.
---
From the "natural disasters will be 'chicken feed' compared to this DIMocrat disaster" department - Online headline: "California Democrats want some businesses to fork over half tax-cut savings to state * Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. * Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state's social services programs" -- If California citizens feel that fires and mudslides are their biggest problems, wait until corporations abandon California.. APPLE, alone, pulling out would create a "black hole" for California, and the rest of Silicon Valley would be nipping on APPLE's heels.. It would look like the second EXODUS.
---
WTVM 9 story: "The cities of Columbus and LaGrange both received recognition with the Live, Work, Play City award presented at this year’s Mayors’ Day conference in Atlanta. * Each of the nine cities awarded has fostered projects and initiatives resulting in increased civic involvement and improved quality of life for area residents and draws visitors. * Judges, including Georgia Power’s office of Community and Economic Impact, the Department of Community Affairs and the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, praised the cities for their success in job growth, housing offerings and recreational amenities * Other cities receiving the award include Chickamauga, Porterdale, Summerville, Cartersville, Decatur, Thomasville and Athens-Clarke County." -- I understand Lagrange being in this "mix".. Lagrange landed a Great Wolf Lodge franchise.. but Columbus? Population is stagnant, unemployment is higher, job growth is lower, and our sales taxes and property taxes are higher.. but what really gets me is that GA Power is one of he judges, and GA Power is one of many businesses that closed it's business here. Oh, and Macon, even though landing the new Amazon Fulfillment Center, didn't make this list.
---
Another WTVM 9 headline/story: "With just 3 students, small-town high school closing down" * ROCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - With just three students left attending high school here, junior Kimberly Taylor moves from one empty classroom to the next, taking mostly online classes or studying alone." -- Good grief... 3 students.. and the school is still open.. of course, that means there are probably more teachers, school administrators.. and school board members.. than students.
---
From the "Pee Wee Herman school of "I know you are, but what am I" department - Online headline/story: "CNN star Chris Cuomo belittles viewers over immigration concerns: ‘Who teaches you guys this tripe?’ * The social media thread started on Sunday when Cuomo wrote, “Honest question: how is wanting to help dreamers become citizens, being anti-American citizens?” A user responded, “When you put those who have entered the US illegally before US citizens. Remember that the government cannot give anything to someone that it hasn’t taken from another.” -- "who teaches you guys this tripe"? The real question is who did Cuomo learn HIS tripe from....
---
Online headline: "Ruth Bader Ginsburg shocks Sundance crowd with her own #MeToo story * Clutching a microphone between both hands, Ginsburg told NPR legal correspondent and longtime friend Nina Totenberg, who was leading the discussion, about an incident that allegedly occurred when she was a law student at Cornell University in the early 1950s." -- - Ruth Bader Ginsburg was harassed 65;70 years ago... and she's just now bringing it to light.. no wonder she's always looked/acted so anal retentive.
---
Looks like the GA General Assembly is looking into another coup to take over the Atlanta Airport...hmmm..you know.. as tough as it is to think of any government run transportation project that runs efficiently, why does the GA Assembly believe it can be less inefficient as the city of Atlanta?
--
Online headline/story: "Vermont becomes ninth state to legalize marijuana * Vermont became the ninth U.S. state and third in the Northeast to legalize recreational marijuana use on Monday when Republican Governor Phil Scott signed a bill passed by the legislature earlier this month." -- Hmmm... The Vermont political picture is somewhat clouded... Vermont has a DIMocrat Representative, a DIMocratic Party and an Independent US Senator, and a Republican Governor... and all three parties in Vermont are obviously on the same page... socialism.
---
Have you seen the figure NetFlix uses for it';s "statue"... it reflects liberals to a "T".. well, a "T" as in Transgendered.
---
From the "I believe this person suffers from thinking to much of herself" department - Online line headline/story: "Trump's Mar-a-Lago is being slammed as a 'disgrace' after serving caviar with plastic spoons * "I hate to do this, but this is a total #disgrace , #shame on #maralago , you can’t serve caviar with plastic spoons!" the caption reads. "Please offer your caviar with mother of pearl spoons and dishes! * Vacayinbae also posted a follow-up post, showcasing "low-budget" and "disgraceful" crackers that accompanied the caviar" - "I hate to do this"? Yeah, right... the woman (or perhaps confused male) has .. obviously, too much self-indulgence going on...
---
L-E headline: "Legacy Chevrolet sold, but former owner Jones still owns valuable site" -- "valuable site"? It would be a lot more valuable if Jones paid up his overdue property taxes.
---
From the "good news; bad news" department - L-E headline: "Henderson plans to leave council post early for mayoral run" -- It won't take a genius to figure out the good news from the bad news..
You know, over the years, I cannot put my hands on one return response to an issue I've mentioned to Henderson... Does he not know he is EVERYONE'S representative.. could he be any less responsive sitting in the mayor's seat?
---
L-E headline: "Facebook admits social media can harm democracy" -- Hmm.. so now Mark 6uckerberg wants to "harm" the 1st Amendment...
---
L-E headline: "Former CSU student Kimani Griffin to compete in Winter Olympics" -- Hmmm-
I, for one. would have loved o have read that Griffin used our skating facilities to train himself... either he didn't do so often.. or not at all.

From the "slaying the political correct jackasses" department - Online headline/story: "Trump campaign ad on murder raises heat in shutdown fight * U.S. President Donald Trump's presidential campaign on Saturday issued a new video ad calling Democrats "complicit" in murders committed by illegal immigrants, during a government shutdown partly triggered by an impasse over immigration. " -- Heh heh heh.. well, truth hurts when you're guilty... and it's right on target... aimed right at DIMocrats and mainscream media.
---
From the "poll truth and nothing but he poll truth" department - Online headline/story: "Facebook to prioritize 'trustworthy' news based on surveys * Facebook Inc will prioritize "trustworthy" news in its feed of social media posts, using member surveys to identify high-quality outlets and fight sensationalism and misinformation, Chief Executive Mark 6uckerberg said on Friday." -- Hmmm... then the truth becomes whatever 6uckerbeg says it is... a.k.a. 'Marxist' indoctrination" under the banner of Лицо книга.

BCer's Note: Several have asked why I spell Zuckerberg;s name "6uckerberg"... the key is the alphabet.. and I choose letter number 6 versus letter number 26.
---
Hmmm... there was another Women's March in Washington Saturday.. Women..their male supporters, and men who decided they are women that day, marched and campaigned to change their world.. meanwhile, all the real women men were back home actually running the world.
---
From the "if it's not growing, it's dying" department - A related Women's March was held in Shicago.. Shicago officials put the number at between 200,000 to 300,000 (same as last year) assorted humans participated (excuse me, how does an estimate have a plus/minus figure of 50%).. It tells me that a DIMocrat pulled a "fact" out of thin air, but a participant..one Michelle Saunders, 41, a software saleswoman from Des Plaines, Illinois, came to the rally with her 14-year-old daughter, Bailey. * “A smaller crowd will not mean people are any less angry,” Michelle Saunders said. “We are unhappy with the current administration and what it stands for, and want our voices to be heard.” -- "a smaller crowd will not mean people are less angry"? Hmmm . sorry, sweetie, a smaller crowd means exactly that their are less people angry, and next year's "crowd" will be smaller again.
---
From the "NFL is even more stupider than we thought" department - Online headline: "The NFL desperately needs to hire more women -- Here's why" -- Good grief,, the NFL is reeling form a nearly 10% viewer drop because the NFL won't put a stop to bogus protests aimed at disrespecting our flag and military/law enforcement personnel, and now wants to improve it's apparent sexist image.. Hmmm.. well, inline with current liberal sentiments, just don't hire any men for media or team staff positions unless the applicants will claim they are transgendered women....
---
From the "undoing he damages of the Obama years: department - Online headline/story: "Europe readies riposte to Trump's 'America First' push in Davos * European leaders will be out in force at the World Economic Forum in Davos this week to defend multilateralism before U.S. President Donald Trump arrives to deliver his "America First" message." -- Good grief... the world.. including US DIMocrats and mainscream media, has got to come to grips with the fact that IF AMERICA ISN"T STRONG, the world is weaker!
---
Some folks are upset with a wax-figure depiction of Obama.. they claim it's a very poor likeness of him.. guess the sculptor was looking at the side of of the face he DIDN'T show to DIMocrats and mainscream media.
---
I tell you what...since we're going to live under the Durbin Shicago Depression, Trump oughta disrupt the DIM's strategy by sending in military personnel to man/operate our National Parks and other government offices that people actually need.
---
Hmmm... no sooner did Trump make the Martin Luther King complex in Atlanta a National Park, DIMocrats voted to close it.
---
Thousands of women (or male supporters and transgenders) met in Washington and other cities this past weekend..I am all for women's rights.. and men's rights as well.. there is no equality without true equality.. but something bothers me,.. how can women support equality... and Hellary in the same breath?
---
You know, when, and before, all Congressperson take a seat in Congress, they take a sworn oath, above all else, to uphold our Constitution and protect us from all enemies, foreign and domestic. How come charges of treason and impeachment aren't IMMEDIATELY drawn up when the DIMocrats vote on not protecting us from illegal aliens?
---
In a nutshell: Trump cut our taxes, DIMocrats cut our military families' throats.
---
Expanded translation of "DACA": DIMocrats Aiding/Abetting Criminal Aliens.
---
There's one difference in the negotiations on the "shutdown" this year with past ones...DIMocrats aren't use .. nor equipped.. to negotiating and having to concede on anything, nor negotiating with someone like Trump. AMERICA wins!..... AGAIN!
---
L-E story: "As the merger of Columbus Regional Health into Piedmont Healthcare nears reality, terms of the deal that would place the city’s largest local health organization under the Atlanta-based nonprofit corporation are now public. * Piedmont has agreed to put a significant financial commitment into Columbus Regional, as well as assume all of the local organization’s debt, according to the terms on file with the Georgia Attorney General’s Office." -- Columbus Council needs to be in the middle of this negotiation.. and protecting Columbus taxpayers from sending the "contracted" property tax millage revenues to Atlanta.
---
L-E story: "A 2nd Congressional District congressman, who represents Fort Benning and opposed the continuing resolution to fund the federal government, is hoping the shutdown is short-lived. * “There are a lot of concerns, and I’ve heard from the brass at Fort Benning and I’ve heard from the brass at the Pentagon,” U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop, D-Ga., said Saturday. “They do not need this continuous, short-term funding. It’s uncertainty and can’t protect our country. We need to deal with it.” -- Hmmm.. let's parse Congressman Bishop's "value" to District 2... District 2's economic posture is the worst in the state, District 2's employment situation is the worst in the state, and now he's voted the DIMocratic Party mantra of neutering our military. District 2, like the USA does not need Congressman Bishop.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Sen. David Perdue didn’t hear Trump utter the s---hole comment? Was he not paying attention or does he have a hearing impairment? Mayor Tomlinson was correct to point out how deafening his silence was." -- Hmmm.. I think what happened was Trump mentioned "Chicago" and 3rd world countries in the same sentence, and Sen Durbin heard "Shicago".
---
Almost gets it L-E "soundoff": "Implicit assent - Silence is a form of approval." -- Hmmm... and conversely, loud mouthed antifa protesters are just loud mouths representing the minority.
---
L-E headline: "Volunteers to hit streets in annual count of homeless" -- Hmmm should this total be getting close to zero since it was Mayor Tom-LYING-son's legacy program to "end homelessness in Columbus within 10 years"?
---
From the "Helen Keller rose-tinted sunglasses" department - L-E guest commentary headline: "Republicans don’t really want to fix immigration 9 BY FROMA HARROP" -- Hmmm "From A Camel's Harrumphhh" has out done herself in transposing DIMocrats into Republicans... of course this is the era that is full of liberals' "trans" agenda issues.
---
You know.. building "the Wall" is not really an immigration issue... it's an "illegal immigration issue" AND a "safety issue".
---
From the "there's a new sheriff in town" department - Online j[headline: "Schumer: 'Next to Impossible' to Negotiate With the WH or 'Hard Right'" -- Well, it;s really more like that UpChuck Schmoozer isn't a good negotiator... when the other side stands strong and demands Schmoozer to make concessions as well.
---
Online headline/story: "Newly released texts between ex-Mueller team members suggest they knew outcome of Clinton email probe in advance" -- "suggest they knew"? It's STATED Strzok and Page KNEW! Their email exchange:
"One exchange between Strzok and Page, dated July 1, 2016, referenced then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's decision to accept the FBI's conclusion in the Clinton investigation. Lynch's announcement came days after it was revealed that the attorney general and former President Bill Clinton had an impromptu meeting aboard her plane in Phoenix.
"Timing looks like hell," Strzok texted Page.
"Yeah, that is awful timing," Page agreed.
In a later message, she added: "It's a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought."
---
Super Bowl.... or Super Brawl... Philadelphia does not live up to it's name...
---
Looked closely at my grocery store bill yesterday... especially at the "sales taxes"... an item I posted fairly recently said Columbus was one of those areas where the "cost of goods" ran higher.. about 4% higher than other areas.. looking at the receipt from the grocery store demonstrated their point.. the sales tax was 4%.. seeing as the state of GA has zero/zip/nil sales taxes on my groceries, all 4% are add-on taxes that are part of the LOSTs/SPLOSTs taxes we pay... and they are self-imposed.
---
Hollywood is so hypocritical... Hollywooders flock to the microphone/camera whenever one's available to preach about tolerance and diversity for everyone, but openly promote "lists" of who's more important than others in Hollywood.. there are "A-listers" through "D-listers" and which list they are on determines their status.
---
From the "obviously, there are too many Obama/Hellary 'holdovers' in the State Department" department - Online headline/story: "State Department spending $592,500 to 'explore gender identities of boys and men in Kenya' * The department's Bureau of Counterterrorism is seeking a nonprofit group to "explore gender identities of boys and men in Kenya." The grant proposal states that men being "tough, heterosexual, aggressive, unemotional, and achieving" can make them vulnerable to joining Islamic extremist groups." -- Hey, President Trump.. speak up for your supporters.. one more time declare, "State Department officials.. "YOU'RE FIRED!"
---
L-E headline: "What are the top 10 education issues in Georgia for 2018?"

http://digital.olivesoftware.com/Olive/ODN/LedgerEnquirer/default.aspx

-- Blah.. blah.. blah. blah. bla......You know.. all this list shows is that the decision makers are not listening.. None of these matter if the number 1 goal of education is not making sure all children finishing the 3rd grade can read at 3rd grade or higher levels
---
L-E headline: "LEDGER INQUIRER * From walking trails to streets, Columbus looking trashier than it’s ever been * BY BEN WRIGHT" -- Hey, Hasn't Ever Been Wright.. you're closer but no cigar.. this is not an exclusive South Columbus issue.. of course, with the focus of building nice walking/bicycling trails throughout South Columbus (versus rebuilding our streets throughout Columbus), it's more obvious that litter and disregard are more recognizable by the liberals who have promoted these trails.
---
Uber-LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Mr. President: Don’t tell us you are sane. Show us." -- Hey.. Mr & MS Lib.. open your eyes... and minds!
---
Oh... after learning from "Together 2017"s "media specialist" that they will not change the calendar year to 2018 until their fiscal year ends in March.. I asked her who was paying for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the Exercise Park they donated to the City.... so far,, not one "peep" back... guess that says it all.. WE taxpayers are going to be stuck!..... again and again and again.. and I'm guessing until it deteriorates enough to just demolish it and pave over it for parking.
---
