(it is public record), for 2017, we paid $5,170.01 in property taxes on an assessed valued of of $344,720.00... That's about 1.55%, and that's WITH "the freeze" on a slightly higher value of $347,000 when I purchased it 14+ years ago The state of Georgia's "average" percent of property tax is 0.09% (some 2/3rds lower)
