I took a ride through Green Island yesterday to look at the properties owned by many of the signers of a letter to promote "THAW the FREEZE". While I didn't see all of them. Soapbox Moment: I've waited until the weekend is over to mention a very astute
comment that Newt Gingrich made on Friday night's Sean Hannity Show.. I wanted
to let y'all gett through the weekend and start Monday strong and fresh. That
Creamer guy.. the one that's married to a Democrat Congresswoman, who sat on the
DNC, who visited the White House 345 times in the last 7 years, the guy who was
proud of paying unstable homeless people to violently protest Trump rallies..

A usual practice for a lot of contractors/remodelers is to build/redo a home and live in it for 2 years then sell it capital gains tax free. Building it means it is costed out at basically wholesale, and the permits reflect the lower cost report to the tax assessors office, so it gets a low market value, meaning that the builder has a bigger profit when he/she sells it 2 years later, yet didn't pay the Fair Market Value taxes someone else would. Let's stop this practice!

Queen Hellary may have put a chink on her hold on NY last night. In today's
AOL/HuffPOOPOO state forecast, the projection says Hellary has a 99% chance of
winning NY.. this is the first time it hasn't projected 100%. During the debate,
Hellary snidely through in that the mass killer at the "Pulse" in Orlando was
"from Queens, where Trump was born". It was bad enough that she dragged Queens
into the fracas, but... BUT.. Hellary also reminded New Yorkers that Trump was a
NATIVE New Yorker, and she but a squatter who settled in New York so she could
run for the Senate because she knew she couldn't win in
Arkansas.

Mayor TomLYINGson admits to spending 5 years on figuring out her assault on the tax freeze. We'd be better off as a city if she'd spent these 5 years controlling expenses to be in line with known revenue sources. Instead, her obsession with the freeze has distracted her from protecting our fund balance. Now, our fund balance deficiencies are not even of concern to her in spite of our city's drop in credit/bond worthiness.
