Soapbox moment: I believe in TRUMP... he's a smart man.. and he reminds me of Jimmy Carter when he first ran for governor in 1966.. You could ask Carter any question, and he'd give you a straight answer.. unfortunately, that didn't make him "attractive" even then, to one-issue voters as are prevalent. By the 1970 election, he'd been to Democrat School, and learned to answer each question with, "Good question..I'm glad you asked me", then talk about what ever he wanted to talk about. He became a typical Democrat.
Democrat voters are only concerned about their candidate being "for" their particular issue, and Republican voters are concerned about whether a candidate is "against" an issue like them. This has created our world of "Political Correctness" that handicaps communications and America's future. Now, without Trump, we'd probably have Jeb vs Hellary to choose from.. and that would be no choice. While his bother, Bush43 , was referred to as "W", we'd be referring to Jeb as "duh", and Hellary would be a shoo-in. If you believe in America, believe in Trump being smart enough to know that if he makes a peak to soon, it will give Hellary and mainscream media time to runover him again before the election.. Wait for the 3rd debate.

What was with Rory McIlroy going hatless during the Ryder Cup? Does Nike have a rule he can't wear a hat unless it has a Nike 'swoop' on it?

---
I love the Ryder Cup Competition. It reminds me how wonderful golf was when match play was the rule of thumb. Head-to-head, mano-a-mano.. gamesmanship , no guts/no glory.. you..your opponent ..and God..

---
Who needs the NFL and it's KaepePRICKS, we got the Ryder Cup!

---
19! Phil and Sergio had 19 birdies between them, were 14 under.with their "best ball", and both birdied 17 and 18 to finish with a tie. I was worn out!

---
How can ZERO-bama claim he's pro-America..he spent the weekend supporting Hellary when he could have gone to Minnesota and support the American Ryder Cup team.

Voting "yes" on the referendum to repeal the Local County Amendment basically makes you discriminatory because you are telling your friends..even your children and grandchildren, that they can't have the protection of government oppression that you have.

---
As vital as the Presidential Election is, we have a local issue that could change our lives even more negatively.. The Democrats, led by Mayor TomLYINGson, and her faithful bootlicker, RINO State Rep, John "Benedict Arnold" Pezold, are trying to take away the constitutionally upheld Amendment that "freezes" your home purchase at the price, basically,  you paid for it. There's a big contingency of well-heeled people who plan to make money off eliminating the "freeze", and the "Citizens to Keep the Freeze" could use some help.. whether it's $5.00 or $100.00 or more doesn't matter. What matters is getting the message out amidst all the other ads. That, and your "NO" vote. It's for your future, your children's future, and Columbus' future.
Send you donation to "Citizens to Keep the Freeze - P.O. Box 6815 - Columbus, GA 31917" Co-chairs are Charmaine Crabb and Tollie Strode, Jr.

---
Oh, and if you are in the GA State Representative 133rd District, we don't have a choice in candidates.. John "Benedict Arnold" Pezold is running unopposed as a"republican". He's unopposed because the Democrats are happy with him. Write-in "Benedict Arnold" in that race.

L-E story: "More than a dozen of the city government’s top executives received significant pay increases in early September, according to city records. But those raises lasted for only one paycheck. *  The raises, given to many of the city’s department directors and executive managers around Sept. 9, were as high as almost $16,000 a year, or 22 percent, in a year when the rank and file received a 2 percent cost of living adjustment that in some cases didn’t cover the increased cost of health insurance. * But the raises were short-lived. They were originally intended to rectify disparities among the upper echelon, but soon after they were implemented, they were determined to be too much too soon by city leaders, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson said." -- As Reagan would likely say, Well, there goes Mayor TomLYINGson again.. the raises weren't rescinded because they were "too much too soon", they were rescinded because the other employees found out about them. TomLYINGson is a typical Democrat satirized in "Animal Farm".. "all pigs are equal, but some pigs are more equal than others"..That's the heart of socialism. What's sad is that there are some of those people who deserved those raises...

L-E "Mark Rice" headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD * Is the Muscogee School Board really a ‘hostile environment’?" -- This is about the person "hired for MCSD Transportation Director who abruptly resigned the next day because he didn't like the "hostile environment". . What BS! Nobody turns down a $90K job because two people he'll never have to deal with again wanted to ask questions.. What really happened is outgoing MCSB chair, Rob Varner" was hung out to dry by rubber stamping another Lewis appointment. Oh, by the way, Mark Rice still doesn't add to his "signature" that his wife has a plum job working for the MCSD..

---
You know.. what this election boils down to is that Trump has a history of getting the job done.. Hellary has a history of not recollecting what she saw, heard, or promised.

That improbable finish of the UGA-TN game shouldn't have happened. A 15 yard penalty for taking a helmet off on the field, and a 5 yard "off side" penalty added on to the end of kickoff put TN 20 yards closer than they should have been, and I do not think the TN QB had 20 yards left in his arm.

L-E headline: "How will Columbus count write-in votes? * Write-in candidates for the Georgia General Election on November, 8, 2016, include U.S. Senate candidate Michelle Gates, Pam Brown for Muscogee sheriff and Mike Garner for Superior Court Clerk." --  There's another race that a write-in vote is justified.. Representative of the District 133. The only candidate running is John Pezold under the Republican  but has allied j=himself with Mayor TomLYINGson on stripping current and future of GA Constitutional protection of our property tax protection. The Democrats see no need to put a candidate against him since he's in favor of raising taxes, so if you are in District 133, write-in for "Benedict Arnold".

L-E story: "I was out on the north end recently and thought I’d check up on a few Department of Transportation projects that seem to have lingered around longer than they should have. * First, the venerable Whittlesey Road widening project, which has lasted longer than Elizabeth’s reign (it seems) is in its final stages. It appears that practically all the heavy lifting has been done, but a lane is still blocked off on each end of the stretch between Whitesville Road and Veterans Parkway." -- Glad to see a follow up on the Whittlesey Road widening between Whitesville and Veterans. Ironically, we are coming up on the 1 year anniversary extended completion date given in March of 2015 when it was announced that the project would be given 6 more months and an extra $1,000,000.00+ that originally determined.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " You old, white, right-wingers using a dictionary for your definition of “conservative”? Get your grandchildren to show you the definition of “demagogue.” See who that reminds you of." -- Hmmm.. "Demagogue - a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument".. Good grief. it sounds like the author of this "soundoff" is more of a demagogue" than those being accused.

---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “The worst disease in the world is the plague of vengeance.” — Dr. Karl Menninger, American psychiatrist (1893-1990)." -- Hmmm.. and who says Hellary is healthy? Ask the women in Bill Clinton's path that Hellary has destroyed their lives...

Once again.. it must pay pff to be a friend of Mayor TomLYINGson.. a local retired bank executive bought a home on October of 2015 for $725,000.00, but the tax assessor's office "valued" his purchase at "only" $557,000.00. Common sense tells us that the retired bank executive did not pay $168,000.00 more than the home was worth, so what does it take to get that kind of tax break from one of the mayor's departments?

It's interesting that the NY Times "found" the 1995 Trump tax forms.  sorta reminds me of when the infamous "White Water" papers/files suddenly were "found" sitting on a table at Hellary's old Rose Law firm.. What's even more interesting is why the NY Times printed those forms. As I understand it, laws state that can't be done without "owner" consent.. didn't the NY Times remember when Dan Rather built a story on falsified documents concerning Bush43's Air National Guard service? Well, even if the tax forms of Trump are real, Trump can sue the NY Times.. just proves the NY Times is "all in for Hellary" and willing to sacrifice itself for her.
