The Breakfast Club - September 11, 2010

Please find a few moments to remember and reflect on the terrorist attack on America 9 years ago. Never forget!
---
Online headline: "Meet Austan Goolsbee, Obama's Hilarious New Economic Chair" -- What a match; a comedian to head the joke of an economic disaster. Wonder if potUS Imam-a will appoint Alfred E. "What, me worry?" Neuman as next Chief of Staff?
---
While I personally believe the press coverage of the Florida pastor of a church of less than 50 was not only blown out of proportion, it was done so as a condemnation of Christians in general by our press and current administration. On the other hand. these are snippets from google-able online stories concerning how the Bible is received in Muslim countries:

"The Taliban later claimed it had killed them (8 missionaries) because they were in possession of Bibles translated into Dari, the local language."
-
"What happens to the Bibles confiscated by the Saudi government? According to sources, the Bibles are shredded. People caught inside Saudi Arabia who have more than one Bible, arrested. The penalty, lashing. Saudi Arabia ruled by Shariah law, laws based on the interpretation of the Koran. The outrage from the Obama administration on the issue of the Saudi government confiscating Bibles owned by Christians, people arrested then sentenced to a public lashing: Zero, zilch, nada. "
-
"The public practice of any form of religion other than Islam is not permitted; nor is an intention to convert others. The Saudi authorities do accept the private practice of religions other than Islam, and you are only allowed to bring a Bible into the country as long as it is for your personal use. However, importing larger quantities can carry severe penalties as it will be viewed that it is your intention to convert others."
---
Online headline: "Obama: Give Democrats Time to Fix the Economy" -- Yeah, they have such a good track record...NOT! Hurry November!
---
Online headline: "Unusual Vending Machines Coming to Pennsylvania" -- Ooops, my bad! Thought the DIM/DUMBorat had figured out a new way to buy more votes.
---
L-E headline: "Records show Bishop gave Black Caucus scholarships to relatives" -- Hmm.''' not too long ago it was revealed that Bishop had directed a large donation to the "Junior Marshals" program which, in turn, had hired his stepdaughter and her husband and neuther even lived in Columbus. Maybe Bishop needs to be moved up the ethics ladder investigation list just behind Charlie Rangel.
---
The fact that Heath Jackson's murderer was not in jail for missing two court dates is proof enough that the Public Safety "LOST" revenues should be spent on more police officers and more jail space rather than recreation projects. Strozier should not even have been on the streets, and that, my friends, is how you prevent crimes!!!
---
The recent influx of murders should be a clue as to how the Public Safety 'LOST' 'slush fund' revenues should be used. Rather than spending them on recreation projects, lets put even more police officers on the street, and expand our jails to accommodate the criminals so early release programs can be stopped. Besides, Parks & Recreation members created their own 'slush fund', and we know how that was abused.
---
L-E story: "Funding for the final leg of the (Columbus Fall Line Trace - a.k.a. bike trail) project came together after the city spent only half of a $1.2 million budget for phase two, from Columbus State University to Cooper Creek Park. Combined with federal stimulus funds and a High Priority Project Grant from U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop Jr., the city can fund the $1.5 million projected bid." -- Another Bishop "donation"; which of his relatives will get the job taking care of it?
---
L-E's "Thought for Today, “This will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” — Elmer Davis, American news commentator (1890-1958). " -- Thank heavens for the T.E.A Party movement!
---
Even when potUS Imam-a leaves the press meeting podium, he heads off to the left.
---
L-E headline/story: "Castro claims he was misinterpreted on Cuba’s economy *
Says he meant opposite of what American reporter thought * Goldberg wrote Wednesday that during three days of interviews with Castro in Havana last month, he asked the former leader over lunch and wine if Cuba’s communist system was still worth exporting to other countries. He said Castro replied:“The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us anymore.” -- Don't you wonder how many liberals have considered suicide recently?
---
A group dressed in military uniforms cuffed themselves to the White House fence in protest of the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. It was strange that they did so in a boy-girl-boy-girl fashion; wouldn't it have been more effective if they aligned themselves girl-girl-boy-boy?
---
With Federal judges making up their own Constitutional rulings, how can anyone feel safe that Gitmo terrorists should be tried in Federal courts?
---
You know, I have to wonder if potUS Imam-a used a TelePrompTer when he asked Michelle to marry him?
