The Breakfast Club - September 6, 2010

potUS Imam-a is out promoting his aimless spending bill "as not another 'stim-YOU-LIE' bill. For once, he's actually telling the truth....it's exactly like the first one, and it certainly was no 'stimulus'!
---
From the 'it's not one world' department: " Camel fighting is a popular sport in Afghanistan." -- What do you say, PETA?
---
Another online story that should excite PETA: "For centuries, horseman in the Spanish village of San Bartolome de Pinares, have been jumping over bonfires in celebration of the celebrations for the feast of Saint Anthony, patron saint of animals. -- PETA doesn't like to leave the 'creature comforts' of home.
---
Oh! Found something! Online story: "BRADFORD, United Kingdom (Sept. 5) – Animal welfare groups are accusing Britain's Prince Harry of animal cruelty after he continued to play in a polo game after his horse was allegedly wounded by spikes on the royal's riding spurs. -- I see, if an animal is injured in 'polo', PETA will be there. That's pathetic!
---
First Baptist use to have young soldiers in on periodic Saturdays as invited guests to share time with them, provide food and beverages, access to cell phones and computers that they had been denied use of during their basic training. Key words are "use to". First Baptist had to stop opening itsn doors because First Baptist is a church. Under potUS Imam-a, soldiers cannot visit or speak at churches or church functions. What's that claim that potUS Imam-a is a dedicated Christian?
---
Computer game maker, Electronic Arts, is about to release "Medal of Honor", a game in which the user can become a Taliban terrorist and shoot American soldiers. This is as shameless as the Islamic radicals trying to build the 'Hamas-que' in the shadows of Ground Zero. There is no "HONOR" at Electronic Arts.
---
L-E headline: "Are job skills obsolete or just too common?" -- Ooops, my bad! Thought this was a critique of L-E personnel.
---
L-E headline: "Roy Barnes says health care law could be 'devastating' for state" -- Isn't that special... of course, he didn't speak up until now, while Nathan Deal actually spoke up against it while in Congress, and VOTED against it. Soory, Ol' Roy, that's pablum...hmmm.. maybe even dog food.
---
There are many opinions about what the new mayor's focus should be on, but in my book, the candidate that vows to make sure the City Manager looks after the interests of the whole city (which includes clearing out inefficient and unethical emploees) will get my vote.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “The happiness of most people we know is not ruined by great catastrophes or fatal errors, but by the repetition of slowly destructive little things.” — Ernest Dimnet (deem-NAY’), French priest, lecturer and author (1866-1954). -- Like duplicative government entitlement programs, and the loss of personal freedoms.
