Online story: "Lawrence Summers will step down as director of President Barack Obama's National Economic Council at the end of the year, the White House announced Tuesday. * Summers, who helped craft the administration's economic policy and leads a daily presidential briefing, said he will return to academia." -- It's a toss up between what is the most embarrassing aspect: 1 - admitting responsibility for 'crafting' potUS Imam-a's economic policy, or 2 - having academia welcome him back with open arms.

Watched "Mad Max" the other night for the first time in years. Who'd have thought Mel Gibson was not actually acting?
---
potUS Imam-a apparently has ignored the 'rule of law' concerning his Aunt Zeituni. Of course, he has ignored her as he has his brother, George, in Kenya. Wish he'd ignore me.
---
L-E "head-LIE": "DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL’ *Republicans block bill to lift military ban on gays" -- Hmmm...only 43 Senators voted "for" the bill, so it looks like DIM/DUMBs are just as involved in 'blocking' passage of such. You may add any who voted against ending the debate to your voting consideration.
---
What's worse than our President ignoring our Constitution? How about potUS Imam-a ignoring God when citing our Declaration of Independence!
---
What a travesty! Iranian President Ahmandine-JIHAD compares a US woman being put to death for arranging the murder of her husband and stepson with that of stoning an Irani woman for 'adultery'. It's not one world.
---
Do you realize that we already know more about GOP Senate primary winner Christine O'Donnell than potUS Imam-a?
---
What is it about Government DIM/DUMBorats feeling tax cuts "should be paid for"? It's our money to begin with. If anything needs to be cut, it's what Congress spends our money on.
---
If joining a union would improve the economy, then unions would be prospering big time from people breaking down the doors to join. Let's face it, making or forcing people to join a union is not what makes the economy 'click'.
---
Online headline/story: "Rare High-Altitude Tigers Discovered * These are the highest living tigers in the world". -- Not so fast, according to police reports and tabloid reports, Tigers in Detroit and Cincinnati have been reported higher than the ones in Bhutan.
---
From L-E's "Today in History": "In 1862, President Abraham Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, declaring all slaves in rebel states should be free as of Jan. 1, 1863." -- Wow! It's rare that any info discussing the Emancipation Proclamation will reveal that slaves in Union sympathizing state were not freed.
---
Concerning Sanford Bishop's 'personal scholarship program': When the L-E reported 3 scholarships Bishop doles out were given to 'family', the L-E seemingly ignored 4 others tha were brought to light by the Albany Herald. One was for a staff member of his who neither lived nor went to college in Bishop's district (scholarship requirement), and 3 went to children of Bishop's wife's employees. What a wonderful perk if you can get it.
---
Well said, Tom Graffignino! As applied to Stephen Hawking, "'intelligence' and 'wisdom' are not synonyms".
---
L-E headline: "Stocks mixed as Fed leaves door open " -- Ooops, my bad. Thought the culprit had been charged with why so many unsupported dollars had been printed off and gotten into circulation!
---
L-E headline: "Unemployment rises in 27 states " -- Typical potUS Imam-a and Company 'spin'. "Unemployment rises" is the only way to give an uplifting look at 27 state losing more jobs. So ends 'the Summer of Recovery", and so begins "Fall Flat on Your Face 'Fall' ".
