The DOT has suckered in the 'local powers that be' by including a leg on
the Riverwalk as an enticement to push it during the referendum.

How can potUS Arpege look into his Teleprompter, an say he only wants to
tax the wealthy? HELL-thSCARE taxes everyone who's EARNING a paycheck, and the
possibility of is taxing on the US and the World.
---
If there are any American apologies to be made, it will be by Romney
apologizing to the World for potUS Arpege's election in 2008.
---
Why are there North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces in
Afghanistan? I'm confused because my map doesn't show any congruity to the North
Atlantic by Afghanistan.
---
You know, potUS Arpege loves to campaign.. now he's rehashing his 2008
speeches on taxes for 2013, yet he didn't do anything about them while has
unstoppable forces in both House of Congress.
---
If you total up potUS Arpege's desired tax on all incomes over $250K, the
sum would be only enough to run the government for 8 and 1/2 days. Think about
that...that doesn't even pay for Federal paid holidays off! The government could
save way more simply by curtailing excessive vacation allocations, and
eliminating the accumulation of vacation time.
---
When I go on vacation to Florida, I expect to pay too much for our meals,
but expect a reasonable amount of plated food and good service. We had one
experience that left me sour at a 'popular' (must be under new ownership) eatery
in Seaside. Y'all know the place..."Pickles Seaside Grill". Ordered 5 chicken
strip 'baskets' (at $8.00 per) and 4 bottled waters and a large Diet Coke for
$56.00... for lunch even. When they brought the 'baskets' out. there were 3
chicken strips per 'basket' but not 1 French Fry to be found. French Fries, it
seems, were an extra order and an extra charge. Have you ever ordered a chicken,
burger, or hot dog 'basket', anywhere, that didn't include 'fries'? To top it
off, when I went to the counter to get a refill on my Diet Coke, I was informed
Pickles didn't do refills because the Health Department rules prohibit it.
Yeah... then McDonalds either pays off the Health Department or ignores it, as
there was no limit to refills there.
We go to Seaside regularly, but future "Pickles" stops are out.

The latest from barackobama.com: "Hal -- Well, I've got some good news and
some bad news.
Good news first: June was our best fundraising month yet. We exceeded expectations -- more than 706,000 people stepped up and pitched in for a grand total of $71 million raised for this campaign and the Democratic Party.
Bad news? We still got beat. Handily. Romney and the RNC pulled in a whopping $106 million." -- Hmmmm, of all the 'polls' out there, the 'follow the money' poll is the most accurate.

Online story: "A border enforcement advocacy organization says it's
"absurd" that an illegal alien in California is suing for permission to practice
law in The Golden State. * USA Today recently reported that after
Sergio Garcia passed the bar exam in 2009, he was told he could not join the
State Bar of California because he was in the country illegally. But now, the
Supreme Court of California will consider his case, thanks to the state bar
urging the court to agree that Garcia and others like him should be licensed."
-- "thanks to the state bar urging the court to agree that Garcia and others
like him should be licensed"? It was bad enough that the California Bar help get
medicinal marijuana legalized, but it seems the California Bar has been smoking
it as well. How can a group sworn to upholding law advocate to break it?

L-E headline/story: "STATE SUPREME COURT
UPHOLDS MICHAEL CURRY’S CONVICTION * Jury found Curry guilty
of killing his pregnant wife and two toddlers * “It put a sour taste in my mouth,” said public
defender Bob Wadkins, who
accused the high court of “glossing over” his appellate arguments. “I’m really
disappointed that the court wouldn’t look at the case closely, and I think they
just superficially affirmed it without really doing a scholarly analysis.” --
Sounds more like a 'sour grapes' situation. All of a sudden, the public
defender, with his advantages of controlling jury selection, is not happy with
the jury system and its findings?

L-E's "Thought for Today":
“One must choose in life between boredom and suffering.” — Germaine de
Stael, French author (1766-1817)." -- Dang! This guy pegged the 2008 & 2012
election choices. More chose suffering in 2008; suffering sucks, so let's get
back to boredom in 2012.
---
L-E story: "DES MOINES, Iowa — The
condition of corn in the 18 states that produce most of it has deteriorated due
to widespread drought." -- Hmm, guess that explains the sudden reverse 'spike'
in gasoline prices.
---
From the "I'm from the government, and
I'm here to help" department:
L-E story: "KINGSTON, Jamaica — Thousands of leatherback turtle
eggs and hatchlings have been crushed by heavy machinery along a Trinidad beach
widely regarded as the world’s densest nesting area for the biggest of all
living sea turtles. * Government work
crews with bulldozers were redirecting the Grand Riviere, a river that was
threatening a hotel where tourists (and conservationists) from around the globe
watch the huge endangered turtles lay their eggs. " -- I'm truly sorry for the
turtle population, BUT liberals would be so much more content if they just used
their own money to carry their torches.

Roy Bourgeois now lives in Columbus, GA?

Standing "O" for Chuck Williams, he nailed
it!

From L-E story on driver's license renewals:
" “The Department of Driver Services could have done a
much better job of letting people know that you need to have birth certificate,
Social Security card and two proofs of record that you live where you say you
live,” (Richard) Smith said. * “That’s
not a big demand, but it is if you don’t know it.” -- Should the voting office
be so diligent in registering voters, and handing out absentee
ballots.

L-E story:
"Oscar Pistorius, the double-amputee runner,
is taking the issue of disabled vs. able-bodied competition into new territory
as he prepares for the London Olympics. " -- This is not a fair competition.
None of the "able-bodied" would want to have their legs amputated just to get
advantageous technology for themselves, but this is a race where everyone should
be on the same playing field in order for it to be a fair test of who is the
fastest man. Just as steroid injected men and horses push the natural limits,
and wheelchair marathoners can smoke the non-amputeed racers, and a snow machine
would 'wax' the two legged downhill racers, but its not just about speed, its
about what levels of excellence can be reached by man in his natural
state.
---
L-E headline: "Lions’ Nick Fairley insists he’s still a fine role
model * Former Auburn player
arrested twice during offseason in Alabama " -- "fine role model"? Maybe for
Isaiah Crow-well and other thugs, and maybe as a "roll model" for Michelle
Obama's campaign on obesity, but I'd just as soon he'd lust go away before any
more kids can watch him.

Today's L-E foreclosure section is the largest I've
seen in years.. 14 pages. How's that working for you potUS Arpege supporters?
