Online headline: "DOJ Finally Goes Insane: Uses Federal Power To Force School To Allow Girl To Use Boys’ Restroom" -- Just being 'transgender' in thought has court standing?... hmmm, if that's true, and I'm a white guy who could dunk a basketball and dance, would that make me 'transracial'?

---

Online headline: "Father of 24 children found dead inside Detroit building" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought maybe he'd finally run out of 'bullets'.

---

You know...there's still interest in the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. At least the FBI is still interested in wasting our tax dollars looking under any rock some rumor points at. 38 years ago, a mafia/union 'disagreement' happened, and Hoffa 'poofed'. It was a good thing then as well, so why does the FBI still think it'll actually find recoverable body evidence?

---

Weiner is already toast, but he insists that "quit'' isn't in his blood... I guess that's the only campaign promise he can keep, because he certainly hasn't 'quit' living up to the DUMBERat mascot image.

---

L-E headline: "Late invoices push sheriff $1.8M over ’13 budget " --Being over budget is not the end-all of life, but turning in invoices showing such a problem exists 3 or so months late is not a healthy situation. The number 1 question is who takes responsibility for not turning them in, and the number 2 question is what will be the consequences?

Online headline/story: "Clarksville, Arkansas School District Opts For Armed Teachers, Staff * (School Superintendent David) Hopkins said he and other school leaders didn't see why the district couldn't rely on its own staff and teachers to protect students rather than hire someone. * "We're not tying our money up in a guard 24/7 that we won't have to have unless something happens. We've got these people who are already hired and using them in other areas," Hopkins said. "Hopefully we'll never have to use them as a security guard." * Donna Morey, former president of the Arkansas Education Association, called the idea of arming teachers "awful." The risk of a student accidentally getting shot or obtaining a gun outweighs any benefits, she said." -- It's unfortunate that a president, current or former, of a teacher's group would think an accidental shooting "outweighs any benefits". Let her be the speaker at the ribbon cutting of the new Sandy Hooks school in Newtown, CONN.

---

Online story: "Officials at San Francisco International Airport have been making citizen's arrests and issuing citations to ride and car share drivers who pick up or drop off passengers at the curb." -- Hmmm, Taxi's and limo services gouged so much that entrepreneurial services began offering airport services to beleaguered riders. Just proves why unions are most responsible for manufacturers sending jobs overseas.

---

Online headline: "Hawaii 'Return To Home' Program Will Pay To Fly Homeless People Back To The Mainland " -- Hmmm, Judas 00-bama must have another vacation planned. Oh, somebody show this to Mayor Obamalinson's "End Homelessness in 10 Years" committee. It'll probably be cheaper to give away 1-way cruise tickets to Hawaii, and let Hawaii handle it.

---

From the 'now we know for sure what they've been smoking' department - Online story: "WASHINGTON -- A man named Warren walked into a bright blue high-security building about a mile north of the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday afternoon. He emerged with three different kinds of marijuana in hand, determined to figure out which would make him feel better. * "I've never tried it," said Warren with a smile. He wouldn't give his last name." * Just nine people are authorized to purchase medical marijuana in the District of Columbia." -- Only 9 nameless people now have legal access to marijuana in the Capital... Sounds like either a street monopoly or a lobbyist group.

---

Online story: "HARRISBURG, Pa. — Penn State's ex-president and two former top school administrators were ordered Tuesday to stand trial on charges accusing them of a cover-up in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal, a court ruling that promises to prolong the media attention and court battles casting a shadow over the university. * District Judge William Wenner called it "a tragic day for Penn State University." -- Hmm, it was a more tragic day when Sandusky molested a child and someone knew and didn't kill Sandusky on the spot.

The Judas 00-bama vacation house (wonder where Michele id staying?):

You know, only a president who has Joe Biden as his VP would feel safe in a house with this much window space. No one wants Biden to get a promotion.

Yesterday, I called attention to the retention rate of teachers in the MCSD and questioned why our students test scores were lower than the state averages. A teacher challenged my knowledge of what a 'rention rate' is. My knowledge of business considers "retention" as the employee turnover rate. If the turnover rate is under control of the organization, then turnover/attrition comes with eliminating lesser productive personnel. If turnover/attrition is left to its on accord, it's the most productive who can and do leave. The MCSD demonstrated it does not take leadership in pulling the weeds out before they take over the garden. This is the most evil consequence of union conditions.

---

A Congressional DUMBERat convening to discuss racism/black issues amongst themselves was an absolute waste of tax dollars. The only solution they had was they weren't going to get their way without having the White House & both Houses of Congress under their control. What a good time for them to discuss black inner city crime, unemployment, education, out-of-wedlock births... but did they even bring up any of the subjects... NOT ON YOUR LIFE!

A court got something right. It overruled Mayor Bloom-ing-idiot-berg's large drink ban. Now if we can get a court to throw out politicians like Bloomberg.

Minimum wage... it's a starting wage for entry level IN SOME industries, BUT it's not the ceiling those industries will pay for those who take the opportunity and make something of it.

L-E headline: "Manning acquitted on most serious charge, convicted on 20 others " -- I still want to know why a private was given access and opportunity to steal pertinent data.

---

L-E story: "MADRID” The driver was on the phone with a colleague and apparently looking at a document as his train barreled ahead at 95 mph (153 kph) ” almost twice the speed limit. Suddenly, a notorious curve was upon him. " -- I want to know, in this high tech world, why an electronic braking system was not installed on the train? Not just for situations of negligence, but in cases that the operator became medically unable to perform his duties. Such systems are available on cars as we speak.

---

Try outs for the scarecrow part in a new "Wizard of Oz" production?

---

L-E story: "Tim Smith of the Discovery Channel’s “Moonshiners” promotes his legal moonshine, Climax Moonshine, on Tuesday at Bootleggers in downtown Columbus. Here, Smith is shown with a shot of his moonshine and a shot of sweet tea, which he recommends as a chaser after drinking the 90 proof alcohol." -- You know, one of the pariah's of irresponsible drinking is 'binge drinking'. Several 'shots' are downed in a short period, and the after effect catches up all at once. Why is the Columbus L-E promoting 'shots'?

---

L-E business headlines: "Jobless rates rise in 90% of U.S. cities " ; "Consumer confidence dips from 5-year high" ; "U.S. home prices increase 12.2 percent, best in 6 years" ; "Economic data expected to show slow 2nd quarter" -- Hmmm.. what's this now... summer #3 or #4 of the "Summer of Recovery"? Only liberal spinmeisters can find comfort in these headlines... maybe because they know they have job security trying to keep the wolves off Judas 00-bama's back.

---

Online headline: "White House to Teach Kids how to Handle Debt" -- Huh? Isn't the White House better qualified on teaching how to ACCUMULATE debt?

---

From the "what's wrong with this picture" department:

SHARE if you think this is horrifying!

Two things... 1 - Pelosi "thinks"?, and 2 - Who cares what Pelosi thinks?

Online headline/story: "Obama: Economy Would Be 'Better Off' with More Government Workers * After blaming the sequester—a budget control measure which still increases overall federal spending—Obama lamented how rough the last four years have been:

Over the past four years, another 700,000 workers at the federal, state and local levels of government lost their jobs. These are cops and firefighters. About half of them are people that work in our schools. Those are real jobs.

-- First, states and local governments are not under the 'sequester' umbrella, so police, fire and education jobs are not under 'sequester', but Judas 00-bama cannot tell the truth and get sympathy. His choices have focused on downsizing our military versus the entitlement programs.

HuffPost story: "WASHINGTON -- Regardless of whether Republicans succeed in cutting food stamps this year, the 22 million American households relying on the program will see their benefits drop in November. * The looming reduction has received little attention since lawmakers set it in motion years ago. * "This cut will be the equivalent of taking away 14 meals per month for a family of four, or 11 meals for a family of three," Dean and Rosenbaum wrote in a May report. * The cut is set to kick in because a 13 percent benefit boost from the 2009 stimulus bill is expiring. Initially, the plan was to let inflation catch up with the increase so that SNAP recipients would never see a month-to-month dollar decline. But in 2010, Senate Democrats and the Obama administration needed money to offset the cost of a series of spending bills. They said at the time they would replace the money later, but they never did.  *  HuffPost readers: What's it like living on food stamps? Tell us about it -- email arthur@huffingtonpost.com. Please include your phone number if you're willing to be interviewed. -- Huh? Republicans are being "blamed" for a maneuver orchestrated by Judas 00-bama and DUMBERat super-majority House and Senate? This was not an unkept typical DUMBERat campaign promise, but one the sitting DUMBERat Administration and Congress spelled out to the mainstream media in exchange for support.

---

HuffPost story: "President Barack Obama told CBS News' Scott Pelley Tuesday that he cannot guarantee that Social Security checks will go out as planned if Democrats and Republicans fail to reach a deal to raise the debt ceiling by August 2. * "I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3 if we haven't resolved this issue, because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it," Obama said in an interview on the CBS Evening News Tuesday evening. * "This is not just a matter of Social Security checks," Obama said. "These are veterans checks, these are folks on disability and their checks. There are about 70 million checks that go out." -- Hey, Judas... that's not your money to begin with so if you've wasted it elsewhere, put it back into "the lockbox" Algore claims.

---

Judas 00-bama says the debt ceiling needs to be raised before "he' sends us our Social Security and Veterans pension checks. Wait a minute... Jack Lew was on Fox Sunday patting 00-bama on the back for his national debt reductions, so why are 'we' hitting the ceiling again?

---

Hmmm, excerpts from a People Magazine article reveal that Weiner got back in Huma's good graces by doing laundry for her. Hmmm... tell us something new... Weiner is a wiener.

---

For all practical intents, Weiner is gone... the Clintons sent David Axelrod on tour yesterday, and he's the 'go to' when damage control is needed.

---

Online story: "Bill and Hillary Clinton are angry with efforts by mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner and his campaign to compare his Internet sexcapades — and his wife Huma Abedin’s incredible forgiveness — to the Clintons’ notorious White House saga * The Clintons are pissed off that Weiner’s campaign is saying that Huma is just like Hillary,’’ said the source. “How dare they compare Huma with Hillary? Hillary was the first lady. Hillary was a senator. She was secretary of state.” -- Does Hillary think the Internet deletes it's 'history' or there are no mainstream media videos of her CBS interview? Does Hillary forget she HIRED?MENTORED Huma Abedin?

---

The 2016 campaign for Hillary is about to get 'jump started' on NBC. NBC says it's going to do a fictitious (surely NBC can't say it's  "reality" show) mini-series on her. Wanna take bets Monica Lewinsky and Chris Stevens won't be mentioned... Or "Whitewater", or Gennifer, or Hillary-care, or Vince Foster, or....

---

McClatchy story: "New Zealand’s defense minister said Monday that an investigation is underway into a report that U.S. intelligence agencies helped his nation’s military track the mobile telephone calls of a freelance journalist while he worked for McClatchy Newspapers in Afghanistan. -- Hmmm, what you gonna do McClatchy... keep on ignoring the facts?

Online story: "Barack Hussein Obama had served 14-State Governors in the United States, National Security Letters (NSLs) warning that the Governor’s actions in attempting to form “State Defense Forces” needs to be halted “immediately” or they will face arrest for the crime of treason." -- Hmmm, after betting there are no DUMBERats within this group, the next bet will be whether or not Judas 00-bama kisses them on the cheek for ID purposes. Has anyone in the mainstream media thought about the personal army 00-bama is trying to build within Homeland Security?

---

With the recent explosive story concerning possible improprieties of a Columbus Regional purchase of a cancer center, was it prudent for Columbus Regional to be involved in another purchase of an undisclosed amount?

---

L-E story of new Superintendent's talk with new teachers: ""Our teacher retention rate is 91-93 percent each year, which for a transient town like Columbus, with Fort Benning, is wonderful," Nolan said. "The state average is 86 percent." -- What's wrong with this picture? Everything! With test scores below the state average, why is the MCSD not having a "V-8" moment! A higher teacher retention rate should translate into higher scores... unless... too many of the teachers are below state averages.

---

Online story: "GENEVA At least 35 people were injured, five of them seriously, in a head-on collision of two trains in western Switzerland late Monday, police said." -- Hmmm, Mayor Obamalinson, are you listening; train wrecks galore, are you listening...or are we walking in a sinter wonderland?

What's the difference between a hate rally of neo-nazis and one for the NAACP? Absolutely nothing.

So the value of the jewelry theft in Cannes has "jumped" from $53 million to $130,000,000+.  Insurance con?

---

Why are Republican Congressmen posturing about funding or not funding ObamaCare based on JudS 00-bama's orders to delay select implementation? Boehner should simply file a suit with the U S Supreme Court based on 00-bama usurping the law illegally? Congress passed it, the President signed it, and it's a law that neither Congress nor the President is authorized to change it by itself..

Riots in Huntingdon Beach, CA? Not by the NBA, NHL, or the NFL.... would you believe surfer boys?

L-E's " Thought for Today": “You can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do.” — Henry Ford, American auto manufacturer (1863-1947)." -- Obviously, Judas 00-bama and the DUMBERats, and the City of Detroit weren't keeping their 'eye on the ball'.

---

Just reading the list of people involved in the current court case going on here in Columbus, it seems that even the defense lawyer needs to be incarcerated.

Dick McMichael's letter asked why the state of GA was spending more on prisons and football stadiums than public education... well, Dick, it's probably a matter of putting good money into successful programs.

HuffPost headline/story: "Newtown Seeks Recovery Through Art * After the devastating Sandy Hook shooting, 'Healing Newtown' seized the power of art offering classes and workshops -- but there's still a long way to go before the group can build a permanent cultural arts center." -- Arrggghhhh!!!!! I'm going to bet this is getting paid for by the self-appointed foundation that siphoned off $4,000,000.00 from the donations sent from around to world as other sought to express their grief to the families. It will be a permanent headstone to remind Newtown of something people would like to move on from. Wanna bet drawing guns will get someone kicked out of art classes?

Picture form online of group at a Gay Pride event in Berlin this year:

Can anyone tell me what these are proud of? For a group of people who ask for 'tolerance', they surely denigrate the status and worth of women.

HuffPost headline/story: "80 Percent Of U.S. Adults Face Near-Poverty, Unemployment: Survey * "I think it's going to get worse," said Irene Salyers, 52, of Buchanan County, Va., a declining coal region in Appalachia. Married and divorced three times, Salyers now helps run a fruit and vegetable stand with her boyfriend but it doesn't generate much income. They live mostly off government disability checks. * "If you do try to go apply for a job, they're not hiring people, and they're not paying that much to even go to work," she said. Children, she said, have "nothing better to do than to get on drugs." -- "Children.... have nothing better to do than get on drugs"? What a warped life! Unfortunately though, government checks and handouts do afford people the ability to buy drugs if that's what they choose to do with it. That's the resulting difference between a hand-out entitlement program and a hand-up effort.

Weiner's campaign manager has abandoned ship.. rumor had it he was upset Weiner wasn't exclusive with him

---

There really is an eerie similarity to Hillary not trying to save the lives of 4 Americans in Benghazi , and Kennedy abandoning Kopechne at Chappaquiddick. Kopechne's clawing marks were quite evident in the interior of Kennedy's Olds, and there's really no proof that Kennedy actually was driving/in the car when it went into the pond. He could have just as easily have sent Kopechne to her death. We'll probably never know for sure.

---

Huma Abedin is going to be a bigger problem than Hillary first thought. As long as Morsi was in power, and Huma's mother being a close friend to Morsi's wife, Huma was an asset. Now that Morsi is out, and Huma's taken a bullet for Hillary, people are reminded of Hillary's weakness as a wife/woman, Weiner is an albatross.

---

Chris Wallace had Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew in an interview yesterday. Jack Lew obviously went to the Mohammed Ali "Rope-a-dope" school of answering questions. It's embarrassing that he's getting paid with our tax dollars but had no desire to give us our money's worth.

Online story: "The San Antonio City Council is about to adopt an ordinance that could get any Christian arrested for preaching the Bible or sharing their faith.  They are looking at passing some nondiscrimination ordinances that would make it a crime to exhibit or express any form of bias that could offend someone.  The proposed ordinance says:
“No person shall be appointed to a position if the city council finds that such person has, prior to such proposed appointment, engaged in discrimination or demonstrated a bias, by word or deed, against any person, group or organization on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, age, or disability.”
Anyone found guilty of violating the new ordinance would be given a lifetime ban from being able to hold a city job, being involved with city government or even doing business with the city.
In other words, if a Christian works for the city as a garbage collector or street repair and they tell someone that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin, they could lose their job for expressing their bias.  Or, if you contracted with the city to provide a service, say computer maintenance or repair and you quoted what the Bible says about homosexuality, you could lose your contract with the city." -- If passed, it should require all existing Council members be re-screened, re-vetted, under oath by Paula Deen.
---
L-E story: "Frustrated Angler Mary likes to fish in Lake Heath, which is in the aptly named Heath Park in the Windsor Park subdivision. Problem is, the lake’s banks have become overgrown to the point that fishing has become difficult. * ..James Worsley, city Parks and Recreation director, said if any cutting or clearing   is done there, it’s done by Public Works, and then only on the watershed dam, not around the lake banks. He said clearing the banks too much could destabilize them and cause them to erode *  Public Works Director Pat Biegler and Deputy Director Ron Smith confirmed that the city cuts the grass on the dam once a year, but that’s so they can do an annual inspection of the dam. They don’t clear brush away from the banks around the lake. " -- Hmmm, "Frustrated Angler mary" should call Mayor Obamalinson and say she understands that hundreds of 'crosses' have been placed in the ground under the overgrown brush...
---
Very, very low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Every time the minimum wage increases, America’s economy improves by billions of dollars — more spending money, better economy. Is this so hard for the GOP to understand? " -- As usual.. another DUMBERat rant without a single sourced fact. What idiots like this one do not comprehend is that businesses actually want their employees to grow and earn more money, and an entry level wage is an opportunity for a new employee to demonstrate his/her 'fit' into the companies needs and future.
---
L-E headline: "Obama’s speeches cloaked in history " -- Hmmn... "cloaked in history"? We will have to watch this phrase.. it's apparently being floated to see if they can use it rather than the truth.. which is "re-written BS".

You know a survey/comparison I'd like to see.... is one of CRCT test scores of Georgia's counties sorted by whether the county supported Romney or 00-bama..

L-E headline/story: "Unisex uniforms debut as Army opens units to women * Unlike the decades-old Army combat uniform, which comes in 36 sizes and was designed principally by men for men, the alternate clothing line was created to fit a broader range of body types, officials say. * The trousers feature wider areas at the hips, waist and backside; elastic around the waistband instead of pull string; adjusted pockets and knee-pad inserts; and a shortened rise in pants." -- Hmm, don't you know al Qaida will enjoy spreading flyers out about these to give confidence to its terrorist army..

In retrospect, Hillary is to Benghazi as Ted Kennedy was to Chappaquiddic. People died because neither tried to go in and save them, and political & media entities are trying to bury it.

---
Online story: "WASHINGTON, July 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama called into question the number of jobs that would be created from the controversial Keystone XL pipeline in an interview with the New York Times released on Saturday. * There is no evidence that that's true. The most realistic estimates are this might create maybe 2,000 jobs during the construction of the pipeline, which might take a year or two, and then after that we're talking about somewhere between 50 and 100 jobs in an economy of 150 million working people." -- Figures don't lie, but liars figure a lot. Words my grandfather oft repeated when listening to politicians trying to explain 'how things worked'. Judas 00-bama says 1,000 or 2,000 is insignificant, but doesn't know the residual influence of service jobs such a project creates along the line of the project. He's just annoyed it would be a couple of thousand jobs that aren't under his thumb.

Online headline: "Trayvon’s Father Wants A New Anti-Gun Bill To Be Called “Trayvon’s Law” -- Hmmm, maybe Trayvon's Father can get street gangs and thugs to obey one of the other laws that already do that for criminals.

From a fellow BCer:
Have you seen the Democrat Party's new recruiting poster?
Judas 00-bama can't write these off as "phony scandals" as they are "scandalous phonies". I'm not sure why Hillary's and Pelosi's pictures were omitted as they have beat womanhood to a pulp.
---
Online headline: "Michelle to Hispanics: Your Race Tends to Be Fat" -- Hmm looks like she also forgot to tell them they murdered Trayvon, too.
---
A Fox economist panel of primarily Obama supporters were involved in a one-sided discussion on the minimum wage. None could equate the raising as a stumbling block for creating new jobs, and none pinpointed why unions support the minimum wage. These experts think companies making profits should pay more minimum wages and make less profit, and not understanding the increase in profits allows companies to expand and create more jobs. Then the union thingy.. unions want the raise because...BECAUSE when Congress raises the minimum wage, most, if not all, union contracts get an automatic base boost on what their contracts call for.

Wonder if Mayor Obamalinson has seen the recent high speed rail accident in Spain?

L-E headline: "Hip-Hop Summit looks to the future" -- This looks like an oxymoron ... at best... there's nothing in hip-hop that looks forward.

Online story: "A few years back, Chevrolet ran a commercial that poked fun at Honda lawn mowers. In the ad, former NFL star and current analyst Howie Long gestures toward a red mower and admits, "Honda does make something that we just can't compete with." Little did Chevy know that Honda would later develop a lawnmower capable of keeping up with a stock Corvette. * Honda calls the high-performance maintenance machine the Mean Mower. Built in collaboration with British Touring Car Championship's Team Dynamics, Honda claims the Mean Mower is capable of reaching 60 miles per hour in an estimated 4 seconds, or .2 seconds faster than Chevrolet's estimate for their base 2013 Corvette Coupe. -- Hmmm, and we wonder...NOT!... why Detroit is bankrupt and GM was bailed out....

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The U.S. Park Police in Washington say the Lincoln Memorial is temporarily closed after someone splattered a splash of green paint on the statue." -- Hmmm, well, we know it wasn't Republicans.

Judas 00-bama hosted and speechified Muslims at the White House in honor of Ramadan. Well, this is the month Muslim's don't eat before sunset (or so). Guess they are pretty hungry by then, because they usually eat Judas 00-bama for lunch.

Online story: "British tabloid The Sun claims Kardashian and West spent around $767,000 on four gold-plated toilets for their swanky new Bel Air, Calif., mansion." -- Hmmm, bet it does take corrosion proof fixtures to handle the 'crap' they give the real world.

McClatchy story: "The Obama administration on Friday announced that it has notified Congress that it soon will transfer two detainees from the military detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to their home nation of Algeria, the first repatriations from the detention center in 10 months. * The announcement of the transfers came only hours after the Pentagon official in charge of detainee affairs, William K. Lietzau, notified his staff in an email that he would be leaving his post at the end of August. * Administration officials said the timing of the two events was purely coincidental" -- "purely coincidental"? DOH! I guess what Judas 00-bama really meant it was 'phony coincidental'.

What was Anthony Weiner, a.k.a. "Carlos Danger" thinking? As soon as he sent more pics out, every one who got one could say, "Hey, I've seen that prick before!"

Since Weiner's wife was close to Hillary, why hasn't Bill Clinton been involved? Has anyone seen Clinton recently? Why hasn't the media been correlating the similarities of Bill Clinton & Weiner?

As long as we're speculating about the Weiner's & Clinton's connection, how did Human Abedine actually come to work with Hillary at the State Department?

My bride and I ate Chinese last night, and, for the first time, took our fortune cookie lottery numbers and played them. While waiting at the counter, I noticed and picked up a brochure for the "iHOPEcard" Discover/Debit Card. The brochure advertised "Playing Just Got Easier!". Then I looked at a sign on the counter, and I put the brochure back:

While there I also saw a visual oxymoron. I saw a display POS for "5-hour ENERGY". Have seen them many times before but one flavor caught my eye ..."5- hour ENERGY..decaf".

You know, it's been speculated that the State department made Ben Ghazi survivors sign nondisclosure forms. Now the State department is adamant no such form was signed. None of this makes any sense.. surely there were American patriots who had something to say, to add to the facts, and a self-imposed blanket silence is not realistic.

Very low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "The problems in Detroit began during the second or perhaps the third year of the Bush regime. Let’s not blame Obama for this one. I doubt seriously that even yellow dog DUMBERats can erase the corruption of Coleman Young (1974-1994) and Kwame Kilpatrick (2002-2008) which pretty much covers the "Bush Years".

Online headline: "Ariel Castro Offered Plea Deal: Man Accused In Ohio Kidnappings Would Not Face Death If He Accepts " -- The DOJ system of what's justice, what should be tried and dealt with, has become warped to the point that laws dealing with crime and punishment need to be scrapped, and a new set drafted to keep death penalties clear for courts and juries AND DA's to deal with. Here's a case involving kidnapping, rape, slavery, and death that should be clearly a death sentence case, and yet another case involving a killing involving 27 stabs, a slit throat, and 2 gun shots couldn't be present to a jury in a way that the death sentence could be invoked easily by the jury.

Oh, and let's not forget Casey Anthony and OJ!

---

Online headline: "Woman At Center Of Scandal Says Weiner Told Her He Loved Her" -- Guess Weiner was practicing his campaign speech tactics before he told NY voters that he loves them, too.

---

Online pic "said" to be a whale' carcass found by the Iranian navy:

Wait a minute... that looks like it could be Captain Nemo's nuclear sub, "Nautilus"!

---

Online headline: "A-Rod Speaks on New York Radio Station; What Did He Say?" -- Must be something in the water... Judas 00-bama just made a speech also, and know one knows what he said, either.

---

You know... the one play out of the Clinton playbook Judas 00-bama has failed to master is the "bite your lower lip and tear up" when you want mainstream media sympathy.

---

Hmmm, wonder why Weiner hasn't done this yet, either?

---

Online headline: "A-Rod Speaks on New York Radio Station; What Did He Say?" -- Must be something in the water... Judas 00-bama just made a speech also, and know one knows what he said, either.

---

Online headline: "NFL Players Arrested Since the Super Bowl" -- Hmmm, how come we cand get a daily Internet update on NFL thugs, but the CPD will not provide Inetrnet access to the daily crime map?

---

Online headline: "White Castle On Obamacare: We May Only Hire Part-Time Workers" -- Hmm, well, Judas 00-bama has oft let us know he admires the French lifetsyle, so less that 30 hour work weeks and up to 75% income taxes, and socialized medicne should be no surprise.

---

Online story: "Radio broadcasting giant Clear Channel is under fire after pulling ads for a Wichita, Kansas abortion clinic. * The South Wind Women's Center recently re-opened, four years after its owner Dr. George Tiller was shot and killed by an anti-abortion activist. * On Thursday, Jezebel reported that Clear Channel pulled two of the clinic's ads from the airwaves, citing a violation of "decency standards." * This is not the first controversy the company has been part of in recent years. Clear Channel, which hosts Rush Limbaugh's show, famously defended the host after he called Sandra Fluke "a slut" for testifying on the importance of insurance coverage for birth control. As Jezebel and Think Progress noted, the company also rejected ads for a gay pride event in Florida and pulled the Dixie Chicks' music after the group criticized President Bush. --

Hmm, the way I look at it, Clear Channel stations (and Christian stations) are all we need to listen to our news and music needs. If you haven't, down load "! 'heart' Radio" as an app for your smart phones.

---

Now the whining begins by abortion centers in Texas about the costs of altering or moving their facilities to comply with the new health and safety requirements of the new law that goes into effect next year. This ought to show all the "pro choice" proponents that the clinics are more concerned about profits than anything else.

HuffPost headline/story: "NC lawmakers pass controversial voting bill * RALEIGH, N.C. -- A Republican-backed measure that would make sweeping changes to when and how North Carolinians can vote appears headed for a court fight. * The measure given final approval late Thursday night in a party-line vote in the GOP-dominated state House requires voters to present government-issued photo IDs at the polls and shortens early voting by a week, from 17 days to 10. * The measure also ends same-day registration, requiring voters to register, update their address or make any other needed changes at least 25 days ahead of the election. A popular high school civics program that registers tens of thousands of students to vote each year in advance of their 18th birthdays will be eliminated. * The bill also ends straight-ticket voting, which has been in place in the state since 1925." -- Huh? Where is the "controversial voting bill"? Every 'change' just insures every qualified citizen's vote is is legal and inline with our Constitution's plan.

These two pics of Trayvon Martin's father's tattoo just highlights how bogus his presence in late life of Trayvon was. Pic 1 shows a gang tattoo evident following his son's death; pic 2 shows where the tattoo has been 'edited for content' into praying hands so he could appear morose in court.

---
Saw 2 TV interviews with the Puerto Rican juror (B29) on the Zimmerman trial. She says she was the one that almost 'hung' the jury because she thought he was guilty of killing Trayvon Martin but not intentionally. DOH? The trial wasn't about whether Zimmerman shot him or not...that was a given. This is about her being on TV.
---
The trial for information theft by PFC Bradley Manning is wrapping up. I want to know why a Private was put into an improperly monitored situation where he could access and collect such data, and then walk out with it.
---
One of those liberal "contributors" on FOX railed against Judas 00-bama's speechifying versus getting something done. She said we didn't need  a Dale Carnegie in the White House, we need an LBJ type deal maker in the White House. What is this gal thinking! LBJ was indeed the most coercive power broker I can ever remember , but to want him or anyone close to him back in the White House would be catastrophic.
---
I thought President Bush41's shaving his head was very revealing. Revealing of his good heart, but also revealing of the excesses of government's wasteful spending habits. There are 26 Secret Service staff in the "to go viral" picture, and that really looks 'over the top' .
---
Obviously, at least up til now, the Clinton's have been 'behind' Weiner. (Let's face it, how could Hillary do anything else but prompt her former protege's actions, and how could Bill say anything about Weiner's picadillos?) I guess it will be Schumer's and Rangel's confirmation as to whether Weiner drops out or not.
---
According to a L-E story, a 15 year old who shot his parents has been sentenced to up-to 5 years in a state youth facility.  "Investigators have said the teenager opened fire on his parents because he was angry they insisted he do chores instead of looking up a Bible   verse for a female friend who had told him she wanted to be “saved.” * This means he'll be released with a prison education when he's 19 or 20. Let's hope he looks up and learns and understands the meaning of the 5th Commandment.
---
L-E headline: "Georgia Power unveils website for tracking outages" -- Wow! Now we'll know that we can go online and see how close we are to getting power back on. Too bad, the power will have to be back on so we can access it online. Government support unionized monopolies are just as out-of-touch as any other unionized government agency.
---
L-E headline: "Weiner: I messaged up to 3 women after resigning " -- Hmmm, what's he telling us... that he's not sure of the number, or that there could be a few guys as well? Don't you know that at least 3 women at fuming about not being Weiner's 'only" online perve?
---
L-E headline: "  O.J. Simpson regrets going after memorabilia " -- What are you saying, OJ, that you have no regrets about killing Nicole and Ron?
---
L-E headline: "Obama administration won’t use ‘coup’ for Egypt " -- Hmmm, bet it's because he wants to use his Homeland Security army to take over the House of Representatives in the same manner.
---
L-E's "Late laughs": "THE ROYAL baby has left the hospital. He will now go to one of the royal estates, where he will rest comfortably — for the next 80 years.  — Jay Leno " -- Ooops, my bad, I thought he was talking code speak about Judas 00-bama's upcoming vacation to Martha's Vineyard.
---

Thursday, July 25, 2013

Wonder when Judas 00-bama, and Sharpton will call a press conference to declare England a terrorist country for naming the new baby after George Zimmerman?

---

Hey, Judas 00-bama.. Everyone knows you know the campaign speech 'buzz words' voters expect to hear, but what we want to know is whether you actually know the definitions of those words you use so profusely.

---

Online headline: "Brooklyn crowns a tiny wiener" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought somebody's father had decked (_*_) Weiner.

---

Online story: "LANSING, Mich.—A state board on Wednesday unanimously gave the go-ahead for a new Red Wings hockey arena in downtown Detroit to be paid for in part with tax dollars as the broke city works through bankruptcy proceedings.  * Gov. Rick Snyder and others defended against potential criticism that the $650 million project should be entirely financed with private money because the city can't provide basic services and its retirees are facing cuts in their pensions." -- Proof positive of the insanity of public-private partnerships. Why don't the Red Wing players just take pay cuts for a few years to pay their arena off. Even with a 50% cut, just the fact theye are working in Detroit puts them in the upper level brackets.

---

Online headline: "Cop Killer Gets Death Penalty" -- Yeah, but it doesn't change the fact that the officer is dead, and the killer will be breathing 20 years from now as appeals are made. Excuse me, on what basis does a convicted killer have for killing a police officer ....... or anyone else for that matter?

---

Curiosity question: What has Anthony Weiner actually done job wise since resigning from Congress; anyone know? (I've already thought about the baser 'job' suggestions, so make it a real job if you respond)

---

The Weiner crap gets deeper the more we learn. He grew up Jewish and must have converted to Islam because the Imam wouldn't have rushed to defend him. Meantime, his wife was raised Islam, portends to practice such yet under Islam she couldn't have married a non-Islamic man. I'm confused in that an Imam would accept a Jewish man as a Islamic to begin with.

---

I guess, in a sick way, Human Abedin is lucky... As an Islamist, she could a died in a honor killing.

---

Between Mrs. Bill Clinton, and her protege`, Mrs. Anthony Weiner, young women have been exposed to the worst influences of how normal women should view their relationships with their spouses. These two high profile women have demonstrated how political power and greed warp their esteem as women.

---

Online story: "TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A federal court is dismissing a lawsuit that a Hispanic civic group and two naturalized citizens filed last year to block a voter purge in Florida. * The groups fighting the state had argued that Florida's efforts to remove suspected non-U.S. citizens needed to be cleared by federal authorities first because five counties in the state had been subject to the federal law. * The lawsuit became moot after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in June." -- A suit to stop the removal of "suspected non-U.S. citizens" from the voting lists? This alone should have made the US Supreme Court dismiss all DOJ objections to 'photo ID' laws!

---

From the "stupid moves" department - Online headline: "Food Stamp Work Requirements Considered By House Republicans" -- Haven't even read the article... not going to either... but no matter how this is being addressed, this headline will be the mainstream media's contribution to e;ect/re-elect DUMBERats.

---

Online headline: "What's Wrong With Anthony Weiner?" -- Answer: He's still attractive to DUMBERat voters.

---

Weiner blew it... he shoulda sent a few pix to a few guys as well.

---

Latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com : "My name's Brad Schenck -- better known as @BradASchenck. * I love Twitter -- and how it gives anyone the chance to jump right in and add their voice to big conversations of the day.
 * I have a hunch you might like Twitter, too, so I want you to be the first to know that OFA is launching Tweeting for Action, a grassroots team of top tweeters dedicated to organizing around the issues we care about." -- I think the NSA must have fouled up some I-net wires, and this e-mail was meant for Anthony Weiner who publicly "Tweets For Action".

---

Anthony Weiner just reminds us of Bill Clinton, only Clinton's gotten smart at not getting caught.

---

Oscar Mayer is being scrutinized as to whether it will endorse Anthony Weiner.  Rumors have it that Oscar Mayer may change its name to "Oscar Mayor", and donate the use of the "Wiener Mobile" to for the Mayor's use.

---

McClatchy headline: "Survey: Most doctors say they don't have 'major responsibility' for cutting costs" -- And they don't! Most doctors are small businesspersons as well. They have staffs, offices, equipment and salaries that have to be met in order to stay in business, so like any business person, they want to make a profit.

---

Judas 00-bama went to Chicago to talk about the economy? Weren't there more pressing discussion needs in Chicago?

---

For the 19th time ,Judas 00-bama has tip toed around the economic fiasco he campaigned on being able fix. The only thing different about this speech and the first 18 is that the mainstream media is not buying his snake oil.

---

"Phony scandals"? Who is Judas 00-bama trying to fool? Even the mainstream media has been targeted, and isn't buying his explanations.

---

In a sense Obama is parsingly 'right about "Washington's phony scandals", but he's using his dyslexic skills to reverse the truth. He's distracted by all the "scandals about a Washington phony".
---

Judas 00-bama says all those "phony scandals" are just a distraction from getting anything done. Perhaps if he was actually trying to get things done, there wouldn't have been time for him to be involved in the real scandals.

---

Really, the number 1 "phony scandal" in Washington is that DUMBERats care about this nations future.

---

Online story: "Amid new revelations about the IRS targeting scandal, the Obama administration’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said Tuesday that former OMB head Jeffrey Zients’ extended absence from the United States is due to a family vacation. * Zients has still not returned from an overseas trip that began after his departure from the Obama administration in April, two weeks before the IRS scandal broke." -- "Phony scandals"? Hey, it's about scandals of a big phony!

---
Online story: "Authorities are investigating the man President Obama tapped to take over the second highest spot at the Department of Homeland Security for allegedly using his position and power to unfairly obtain U.S. visas for foreign investors in a company run by Hillary Clinton’s brother, FoxNews.com has confirmed.  * Alejandro Mayorkas, director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, was named by Homeland Security's Inspector General's Office as a target in an investigation involving the foreign investor program run by USCIS, according to an email sent to lawmakers late Monday. * The investigation was opened in September 2012 following a referral from an FBI counterintelligence analyst. The probe was first reported by The Associated Press. * The investigation into Mayorkas is based on allegations he helped secure U.S. visas for Chinese businessmen after they had been denied by his own agency’s officials. The visas had been sought by Gulf Coast Funds Management, a financing company headed by then-Secretary of State Clinton’s brother Anthony Rodham" -- I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop...., "What difference does it make,  he's Hillary's brother". Interesting is that this investigation started about the time Benghazi happened.

---

You know,  why is it siblings of national DUMBERats seem to get involved with overseas enemies of America. Remember Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, George Obama, Auntie Zeituni, and now Anthony Rodham. Guess sibs and other family feel they have a "Get out of jail free" card.

---

The USPS ads are as flagrantly lying as any ads ever run. They are saying the their operation costs us taxpayers nothing..Nada.. Zilch. To begin with we provide all the revenues for their services.. stamps, fees, parcels, etc. Secondly, those revenues are not enough to pay for their wastefulness or pensions, so our Congress is providing BILLIONS of tax dollars to do so. I want to know, who is paying for those ads... the union arm of the Letter Carriers or more tax dollars?

---
Facebook announced "big" numbers after the market closed. Everyone jumped for joy... but ..... don't think you're going to have smooth sailing ahead. The youth are already gravitating to "Instagram" and "Snapchat' so their parents and others can't snoop.

---

Random thought: "Here's an idea that won't get off the ground because mainstream media would implode by supporting it. Limit campaign spending by politicians to a maximum of how much the annual salary is for the post they are running for. While I'm at it, make the private parties/candidates pay for the primaries. General elections should be paid for by the taxpayers, but primaries should for by the the parties."

---

Just in: "Snowden gets asylum in Russia!" --  Guess Putin can be more flexible since the election is over, too.

---

I used to like Bette Midler... as a singer and an actress, but this kind of history rewrite is a sickness even I cannot overlook:

Bette Midler         @BetteMidler
.@GOP treats Mr. Obama the way they treated FDR in WWII. They did everything they could to ensure an Allied loss.

Yes, Bette Middler has exposed herself as a "big twit".
---
Have you ever thought about how banal it is for anyone from Chicago to fall back on their experiences to try to improve crime, education or ethics reform for the rest of the country?
---
L-E story about the possible candidates for retiring Senator Chambliss' Senate seat: " ...the race is expected to draw interest and money from around the country." -- You know, this is one of the biggest problems and hasn't been addressed by any campaign reform efforts. To vote for a candidate, one must reside in the candidates state. Whay are people who live in other states allowed to try to influence what candidates in other states are elected. Same goes for all other races as well... if you can't vote for someone, why are you allowed to donate to them?

Online story: "FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A state police photographer who released photos of the bloodied Boston Marathon bombing suspect during his capture was placed on restricted duty Tuesday. * He already served a one-day, unpaid suspension and has received another five-day unpaid suspension." -- Ain't being "PC" grand? NOT! While there's still a chance Bomber Brother 2 could get off under American legal process, a uniformed law enforcement officer has been 'tried and dried' without due process.

---

When the US Supreme Court threw the Proposition 8 case back at California, the Supreme Court dropped the ball. That wasn't enough. The Supreme Court should have sent it back with orders that the State Government defend the law that it's citizen passed legally and overwhelmingly.

---

Southwest Airlines has either the dumbest stewardess, or the most rigid operating procedures in the airline industry. When a plane landed in NY with the front wheel collapsed, a cell phone recording catches her dictatorially telling passengers to remain seated because the plane hadn't gotten to the gate yet. Pardons in advance, but I hope she wasn't blonde.

---

Atheist chaplains? Whatta oxymoron!

---

Anthony Weiner... What a reminder of the core of the DUMBERat Party. And his wife... What a reminder of the disregard that the DUMBERat Party has for women being healthy, independent, and equal with men. No wonder the DUMBERats despise DOMA.

---

Anyone notice, that at certain angles, how much Weiner and Timothy Geithner resemble each other. Hmmm, guess that makes them similar physically as they are fiscally.

---

The MCSD really needs to hire a Special Assistant of it's own as an advisor for personnel issues. After continuing former Superintendent, former interim Superintendent Phillips as the new assistant Superintendent (which, BTW, is not a listed job opening), I suggest, nominate Ron White as the MCSD  "special" assistant. Who better knows "you can't fix stupid"!

---

From a fellow BCer:

---

There's a "wave alert" in Michigan. You know, a biblical tsunami may just be what's needed to flush corruption out of Detroit.

---

Just who does Boehner think is the best set of rebels to support in Syria ?

---

A "soundoff' in the L-E 'thanked' one of the staff at St Francis for leading him/her to the place he/she wanted to go because the staff member could not easily give directions to his/her destination. I had a similar situation there also. My staff 'guide' was an intern. As appreciative as I was at getting to my destination, I immediately thought, 'if logic and good signings were used in construction, then this intern could be doing what he's been trained to do.. attend the needs of patients'.

---

L-E story: " Troy plans to sell its current property next to CVCC to finance the completion of the riverfront projects. " -- Surely CVCC is not going to buy Troy's 'old campus' so Troy can enjoy an advantage at it's 'new' campus site. That said, what happens to the 'new' campus site AND the 'old' campus site if no one buys the 'old' campus site?

---

Hmm, after the 14th Street Bridge is made safe enough to access... again... and construction projects of new hotels, whitewater concessions, and such are completed, what will be the future of the now annual 'homeless dinner' that's been held there?

---

Speaking of 'the homeless', what's the % of homeless reclaimed to society by Council's "End Homelessness in 10 Years" project?

---

L-E headline: "Reactions to Zimmerman verdict show divide between blacks, whites " -- Unfortunately, it's being promoted as a "racial issue", but that's wrong. It's actually a morals and cultural issue.

---

Instead of Judas 00-bama proclaiming Trayvon Martin could have been - was him - 35 years ago, 00-bama should be focusing on real problems in education that could eliminate environmental impact in the future. Unfortunately, the DUMBERat Party likes having people dependent on government handouts to survive at the poverty level that creates the atmosphere that continues the problem.

---

I'm curious as to why the MCSD would want to be involved in a 3-year "contract" with the new superintendent. "Contracts" are built on conditions and expectations, and at best, limit improvements. At the end of those three years, if such contractual expectations have fallen short, even by the smallest amounts, then the MCSD is obliged to replace him, and all this "crap" starts over again.

---

I'm "happy" that Kendrick High can point out/receive "awards", but nothing reveals the truth as a school not being able to produce 1 student that was eligible for the "S.T.A.R." awards.

I guess it was OK to be wrapped up in guessing the gender for the royal birth, but in no case is it acceptable to be demonstratively upset if you were wrong.

---

Hey, somebody keep a record of the new prince's birth certificate! Who knows when the DUMBERats might need a celebrity candidate to run for president in the future.

---

Online story: "A number of top-level celebrities are reportedly following in Stevie Wonder's footsteps and plan to boycott Florida in protest of the state's "Stand Your Ground" laws. The list, which was first reported by AURN's April Ryan and credited a "a source close to Wonder," includes the likes of Madonna, Usher, Kanye West, Jay Z, Rihanna and Rod Stewart. "-- Hmmm, Florida should make this a mutual deal and ban radio, TV, cable, internet, CD, and MP3 playing of any of their songs/videos/movies. I wouldn't be surprised that Florida's murder, drug, and teenage pregnancy rates went down as well. Win-win!

---

Online story: "Geraldo Rivera Tweets Shirtless Selfie" -- Am omitting the actual picture, but once and for all, Geraldo confirms my contention that all he's ever been is a "big twit".

---

Online headline: "President Obama welcomes royal baby " -- Ooops, my bad.. Thought Judas 00-bama might have photo-shopped himself into Kate's delivery room.

---

Online story: "A judge (Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson, Judas 00-bama appointee - remember her name in case she gets nominated for a 'promotion') has ruled a federal prison in Terre Haute has 30 days from Friday to allow Muslim inmates group prayer anytime they are out of their cells. * The order is a clarification of a January ruling that indicated the prison’s policy prohibiting Muslim inmates from participating in group prayer was a violation of federal law." -- Our kids can't assemble in school and have a Christian prayer... but prisoners can assemble in prison 5 times a day. This is wrong.

---

Online headline: "Abu Ghraib Prison Break: Hundreds Of Detainees, Including Senior Al Qaeda Members, Escape Facility" -- Hmm, maybe this would be a good time for the military to release all those pictures (uncensored of course) of the "abused" prisoners so the ones that escaped will be embarrassed to commit suicide.

---

Online headline/story: "Price of Victory: Phil Mickelson Hit With 61% Tax Bite on UK Winnings * On top of that, Mickelson has to pay UK tax on a portion of his endorsement earnings in Scotland. Any bonuses he receives for winning these tournaments and moving up in the rankings will also be taxed at 45 percent. * And that doesn't exhaust Michelson's tax liabilities from his British triumph. He won't have to pay federal taxes on these winnings, thanks to a foreign tax credit, but the exemption doesn't apply to self-employment taxes, the Medicare surtax, or his home state of California's 13.3 percent take." -- And on top of all this, he has to return the Claret Jug before the next British Open! Maybe he ought to 'loan' the Claret Jug to Chicago for a parade, and see how many bullet holes the street thugs can shoot into it before Phil goes back.

---

What's going on with our Mayor here in Columbus? Things are too quiet for her to be up to any good. She bypassed the normal sales tax distributions on Whitewater by negotiating a fee that cuts out the MCSD and our Public Safety LOST, is still trying to get rid of the property value freeze , and is desperately trying to run us into huge debt on a high speed train wreck system .

---

The NSA is lying to us when it says it's not looking at our e-mail or listening in on our calls, and at the same time, the NSA says the program is working to control terrorism. How come the NSA didn't stop Boston or the Cuban weapons being shipped to Korea?

---

No matter what the subject, when Fox News reports something that Judas 00-bama has or hasn't done, there's a new spinmeister on Fox as a "denier" and "splainer". Do we really know how many people he personally has on the payroll?

---

I think I've found a way to dodge media, NSA, IRS, and DUMBERat Party campaign intrusions. If I changed my name to Ben Ghazi......

---

There were Trayvon Martin demonstrations all over the country this past weekend. There were 7 black murders in Chicago thus weekend as well. What about this problem, Judas & Al & Jesse?

---

A Republican Congressman is floating a balloon that he "may" be open to some government help for Detroit. Is this a trick question... there are no Republican politicians in Michigan.

---

Pundits say that Detroit's ills are due to it spending $100,000,000.00 more annually than it has had income coming in for the past 8 years. Excuse me, but that's no where close to the $20 BILLION dollar debt Detroit has run up. Guess that's from the accumulated interest rates from mafia loans.

---

There's a TV ad for a company that will "help" you get Social Security Disability. "It's your right!", the spokesman spiels. "RIGHT"? It's an entitlement program! In fact, it's an entitlement program that doesn't require you've been contributing into it; doesn't care whether you're even a citizen or not! No way it's a "right"... it's a WRONG and a disaster!

---

From the "it should only happen in California, but it doesn't" department - Online horror story: "Bruce Malkenhorst took home more than $911,000 a year as city manager of the tiny city of Vernon. His reign ended shortly before he was convicted of misappropriating public funds, and he walked away with an annual pension that eventually topped $500,000, the largest in the California Public Employees' Retirement System. * But CalPERS last year decided to cut his pension to $115,000, concluding he'd derived some of his hefty salary improperly. * So now the 78-year-old Malkenhorst is suing Vernon to make up the difference. His lawyers are making a novel if improbable argument: Because it paid him a high salary, the city is responsible for keeping his retirement benefits at the higher level even though CalPERS balked." -- Elected officials should not be eligible for a pension plan... at any level of politics! An elected position should be a service, not a career.

---

Absurd claim in a headline: "Washington can learn from Detroit's fate ... if it's willing" -- It's absurd because Detroit LEARNED from Washington... it's more absurd because Herman Cain penned this headline.

---

Insanity! Why does the MCSD 'feel' keeping Phillips on as an assistant is a good thing for the children and the new superintendent? A few years ago, the MCSD couldn't wait to be rid of Phillips, then it rehired him as an 'interim' to replace his replacement, and now the MCSD board wants to let him influence the new superintendent? We need all the school district elections to be held in the same election cycle so "we' can completely clean house!

---

Speaking of Phillips.. a few years ago, there was an uprising about out-of-county and out-of-state MCSD students not paying the fees to attend Columbus schools. It was especially blatant that the MCDSD board turned it's head on the children of teachers living out of Muscogee County being "exempt" (as a perk). After the dust settled, and new policies were confirmed, a source of good authority says Phillips has no interest in enforcing the collection of such fees. An audit of this should be initiated NOW.

---

One thing the MCSD board has not thought about is that by keeping Phillips around to "help" the new guy, the new guy will get an earful of Phillips' opinions about each and every board members quirks, weaknesses, and which buttons to pull or push to get a reaction.

---

Bottom of the scale low-info L-E "soundoff": "It’s ironic that the same people who are so determined to curtail abortions will not spend a penny when it comes to child welfare or assistance to needy families." -- Obviously this guy/gal has never paid a dime in taxes, and gets tax credits to get a more refunded than he/she had withheld.

---

From L-E's "Today in History": "In 2011, singer Amy Winehouse, 27, was found dead in London from accidental alcohol poisoning." -- When liberals' rewrite history, nothing is exempt... there is nothing accidental about pouring too much alcohol into one's body. A choice is made each time the container is pressed to one's lips... do I or do I not.

---

I see Jack Tidwell has a letter in the L-E today. Guess he didn't realize his name would also appear in a potential scandal before he started throwing stones.

---

Another L-E "writer" expresses his concern for not enough 'nannyism' is employed for children walking home after school. I imagine DFCS would have gone after my parents (if DFCS existed then) had it known I rode my bicycle to school in reasonable weather.. even crossed Buena Vista and Wynnton Roads by myself (no electronic buttons for me, I learned how to cross a street from my parents and grandparents).

---

L-E story: " DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The rumble of Humvees and the buzz of choppers are already commonplace to the neighbors of Camp Merrill, an elite Army base in the rolling hills north of Dahlonega. * The Army wants to take over a 282-acre swath of land that it leases from the Forest Service to train Army Rangers." -- Rolling hills... forests... obviously the Army is getting vibes that it's next assignment won't be the barren expanse of the mid-east...

---

L-E headline: "ACC official: Clowney should have been ejected from Outback " -- Ooops, my bad.. thought some elitist didn't like Clowney's table manners.

---

L-E story: "Qatar-based Al-Jazeera, formed in 1996, has expanded quickly around the world but struggled to gain access to U.S. cable and satellite systems. At the beginning of this year, it bought former Vice President Al Gore’s Current TV, giving the company access to some 50 million homes initially" --  Initial access to 50,000,000 homes? Well, I guess maybe if you count bird and squirrel nests since all the audience Gore had was either bird-brained or squirrely at best.

Following several weeks of stabilizing lower, the L-E's "Foreclosure Section has soared back. How's that for an improving market?

PHIL! HE'S THE MAN!

---

Huh? Free drop from sprinkler head in line? A local rule in the British Open? Has ABC/ESPN gotten special Tiger Wood rules to keep him viable for the finals' broadcast?

---

Online headline: "Bankruptcy Lawyers See Opportunity In Detroit Crisis" --  Yeah, there's so much drooling, the Weather Channel has put out a "flash flood" warning, and Rahm Emanuel has put  in his two week notice to Chicago, and qualified for the next Mayor's election in Detroit.

---

Guess we'll have to refer to Detroit in the future as "NoTown" rather than "MoTown".

---

Online headline: "Obama To Lay Out Economic Vision Ahead Of Budget Battle" -- Grab your wallets! We know how he thinks/sees only in black & white...and black!

---

Online headline: "Tavis Smiley On Obama's Trayvon Martin Speech: 'He Was Pushed To That Podium' -- Pushed? Yeah, sorta like Br'er Rabbit pleading for Br'er Bear & Br'er Fox NOT to throw him into that there briarpatch. As we know, it was exactly where he wanted to be.

---

Reckon Judas 00-bama will hold a press conference with Al Sharpton and declare the British Open is a racist event because Tiger's shots didn't get lucky bounces, and all the holes were painted white inside and none were painted with black.

---

Let's face... Dr Martin Luther King, Jr would be very disappointed in Judas 00-bama... Not for judging George Zimmerman by the color of his skin, but for giving undue credit to Trayvon Martin for his.

---

It seems to me that today's "black leaders" think they can protect 'black rights' by ignoring and/or defending 'black wrongs'.

---

Online headline: "Apple Confirms It Was The Victim Of A Security Breach" -- Oooops, thought this was a modern interpretation of Genesis.

---

We are in for another 'burst'. Microsoft and Google just reported disappointing and disturbing profits and sales, and the S&P hit a new high. That fantasy flow of newly printed $85 Billion a month that Bernanke is putting into the market is like the Little Dutch Boy eventually running out of fingers to plug all the holes in the dam.

---

Online headline: "McCain says Rolling Stone cover was 'stupid'" -- He's actually right, and when next month's  copy of Rolling Stone reads, "Rolling Stone says McCain is stupid", it will be right, also.

---

L-E story: "The Muscogee County School Board will vote Monday evening on a contract to employ interim superintendent John Phillips Jr. through August 31 in the role of assistant to the new superintendent. * "It makes sense," board chair Rob Varner said on Sunday. "Dr. Phillips is available and willing to assist during this crossover." -- Only in the world of insanity does repeating procedures that produce the same bad results make sense! What this is all about is that the MCSD board needs to make sure that the school system has the next superintendent working within the system when it's time to replace a current superintendent. What we have now will be a former superintendent the past board got rid of showing a new superintendent all the nooks & crannies & and skeletons in the closets.

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "New York and California are using Affordable Health Care to reduce insurance costs for their citizens while Alabama and Georgia are fighting the law, denying many citizens insurance and increasing costs for the rest. " -- Tell you what, this person's insurance company here in GA & AL would love to get the reduced premiums amount that even 'reduced' amounts are charged in CA & NY.

---

Another "low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "You decide: Had Mr. Zimmerman remained in his auto as the law enforcement officers he contacted instructed him to do, would Trayvon Martin be alive today? " -- Hmmm, it's been 17 months since then... I doubt that the odds would favor an 17/18 year old street thug still being alive for 17 months.

Think about this... if you're pleased with the efficiency of the Post Office, and prefer the Post Office to FedEx or UPS, you're gonna love ObamaCare.
---
Microsoft just wrote off $1 Billion dollars worth of its "Surface" tablet computers.  After all the hoopla, after a huge campaign of gymnastically inclined geeks turning flips and doing cartwheels while connecting the tablets to keyboards... nothing happened in the sales departments. Microsoft has plenty of reasons/excuses, but they are wrong. Some say it was a software prob, others say it was a lack of 'apps' prob. For me, other than I don't like Microsoft 8, is that I'm past the age of being able to connect  computer hardware while doing a flip.

Online story: "In a testy exchange with NAACP leader Hilary Shelton Friday night, Sean Hannity asked him to name just one of the 61 people murdered in Chicago during the Zimmerman trial. Of course, Shelton couldn’t do it. * While both the prosecutor and Trayvon Martin’s parents claimed the trial was not about race, it’s clear that nearly everyone on the left believes otherwise – including, based on his remarks yesterday - Barack Obama." -- Game, set, match..Hannity.
---
You know, I have found over the years that it's generally the first person to throw the race or homophobe card is the most racist/homophobic person in the conversation.
---
You know, if Trayvon Martin were 'simply' a Chicago statistic, Judas 00-bama wouldn't know he existed.
---
If Trayvon Martin had lived in Chicago, no one would even know his name... until he registered to vote next year when he would have turned 18.
---
Remember the "W the President" square decals on cars (still see some today)? That's going to kill his nephew, George P. Bush's major election hopes. Can't you see the DUMBERat's pushing their own version, "P on you" - "P on Bush" - P'd Off" - "No New P".
---
Online headline: "Obama On Helen Thomas: She 'Was A True Pioneer'" -- Hmmm, 'pioneer' who got fired trying to emulate Judas 00-bama's position on Israel.
---
Hmmm, CRAPital ONE is still using (_*_) B*ldwin ads, and the DUMBERat Mayor of San Diego still thinks what he did was OK. Neither would be doing those jobs this week if they were Republicans.
---
From a fellow BCer - If you can't distract the mainstream media by solving problems, racism will do the job.
---
If Judas 00-bama would address the real ills of the black community - drugs, illegitimate births, entitlement programs, public education , jobless rates, imprisonment rates, and gun death rates - with the same focus he has on racism, maybe the real ills could start to be solved.
---
The critics were right. Just as now with Trayvon Martin, mainstream media, by Judas 00-bama's own admission,  ignored the drug and criminal life 00-bama shared with Martin.
---
Hmm, if all the "stand your ground" laws get repealed, does that mean if we see someone being bad, and we yell. "Stop!", and they don't turn and run, them it's OK to just shoot?
---
Eliminating "stand your ground" laws may be a lot of fun. For example, you're driving around looking for a parking space at the City Service Building. You see the Asst City Manager pull into his reserved spot. You can yell at him to move it, and if he doesn't do so, you can have him towed. Or, another good example will be at the River Center. You see someone with better seats, so you can walk up and say you'd like to sit there and if he doesn't leave, call the cops and have him removed or arrested! Yeah, we're gonna like this.
---
So 450 people, according to the L-E's usual biases, showed up for the rally for Trayvon Martin "justice". Such a weak showing was good for America and Columbus. As I have contended, most whites AND most blacks do feel justice was metered as fair as the situation could...would allow. The local NAACP took two giant steps backward following an earlier call in investigate why a black police officer had been allowed to stay on the force following previous racial slurs to whites in Columbus .
---
L-E story: "Holding a bag of Arizona ice tea and Skittles, the items Trayvon had bought at the Sanford , Fla., convenience store before he was killed on Feb. 26, 2012, the president (Edward DuBose) of the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP told the crowd that he’s sick and tired of young African-Americans getting gunned down." -- Tell you what, Ed, so am I, so is the rest of America. As a part of the NAACP upper echelon, do something about it where it counts!

Hey, does anyone remember whether the NAACP held a "Justice for Nicole Brown" rally following the OJ trial in 1994? White or pink is a color of people, too!
---
Was watching a news report from the zoo in Chicago. There were some cute shots of a polar bear diving into a pool where big ice cubes were added to help him cool off. I honestly expected Al Sharpton to show up and claim racism because the zoo didn't put ice in the gorilla cage.
---
Now NYC's Mayor Bloom-ing-idiot-burg is telling everyone to take the stairs instead of elevators or escalators. After his other personal intrusions, I imagine most New Yorkers are about ready to suggest the Mayor take the short cut down after he jogs to the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building.... JUMP!
---
I will not be able to say this enough myself to have the impact this deserves, so help out and spread the word. Hispanics should understand that Judas 00-bama, Eric Holder, the NAACP, and the Congressional Black Caucus are throwing Hispanics under the bus in their racist onslaught of George Zimmerman, and their ignoring the death of the 13 month old baby shot in Brunswick, GA.
---
The new GMC Envoy... It looks like the Chrysler 300 with a rear gunner's turret.
---
Judas 00-bama must not sleep well at night... how could he... knowing he has to please Al Sharpton to keep the black bloc vote?
---
Hey, Judas 00-bama.... here's a poster for the Oval Office walls:
