Online story: "At the United Nations, the Security Council unanimously
adopted a resolution that was negotiated as part of the agreement reached in
Vienna between Iran and the six powers. * In return for lifting the U.S., EU and
U.N. sanctions that have crippled its economy, Iranmust accept long-term limits
on the nuclear program that the West suspected was aimed at creating an atomic
bomb, but which Tehran says is peaceful. * U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations
Samantha Power said the deal would make the world "safer and more secure"." --
"deal would make the world safer and more secure"? Good grief.. this makes as
much sense as former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis giving convicted
murderer Willie Horton a weekend furlough because he promised to be good and be
back on time.

Remember that white woman who convinced the Spokane Washington NAACP she was black, but was outed by her white parents? Well, she's writing a book... wonder what color of ink she'll choose?
---
You know, Obamageddon wants a new law to prohibit mentally incapacitated people on Social Security from owning guns... doesn't he know it's already against the law for those with diminished mental capacities to buy/own guns?
---
Online headline: "Lockheed to buy Sikorsky for $9 billion" -- Hmmm... Trump is worth more than Sikorsky..
---
Online headline: "Millionaire Zappos CEO lives in a trailer with his llama" -- Guess two things are inevitable... a new genre of jokes about "Yo llama is", and a new Supreme Court challenge of the marriage concept...
---
Online story: "A picture of a black police chief officer helping a white supremacist to safety has gone viral.
* The image shows Leroy Smith, the director of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, compassionately carrying a Confederate flag supporter wearing a swastika T-shirt to shelter, after he suffered a heat stroke during a KKK Rally." -- Good grief.. the next round of mainscream media historical rewrites will be to have Hitler wrapped in a Confederate flag at Auschwitz saluting Nathan Bedford Forrest.

HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "After The Bailout, Greeks Learn How To Live
With Steep Taxes * he government of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has had to
enact a series of confidence-building measures, the biggest of which was a steep
increase in the sales tax from 13 to 23 percent." -- Good grief.. Greeks aren't
going to learn to live with steep taxes, they are going to learn how "TO LEAVE"
stiff taxes...This reminds me so much of Clinton in 1993... stepping up to the
microphone and telling all those entitlement voters that not only could he not
find a way to cut taxes, but that he would have to raise them instead...

Online story: "The home appliance industry has a problem with the Obama
administration's new dishwasher regulations * The recent proposal from the
Department of Energy is meant to boost dishwasher efficiency by setting stricter
limits on the amount of water each dishwasher can use, among other changes.
Under the plan, washers could use only 3.1 gallons (The DOE passed similar
regulations in 2012 that reduced usage from 6.5 gallons to 5 gallons) of water
for a single load. * But an appliance industry group says the new measures would
be counterproductive -- as they'd force users to run their dishwashers more, and
hand-wash, just to get the same results, in turn using more water." -- Hmmm.. so
Obamageddon is basically reducing water usage in cleaning dishes (a real health
issue) to less than half what was used before he was elected...what will happen
is that more chemicals will be concentrated into the dishwashing liquids/pods to
get dishes clean, and that means more chemicals will be disbursed into the waste
waters that go back into the water supply which, in turn, will need more
chemicals to treat when it is recycled into the drinking water. This is what
happens when liberals try to solve problems they have invented.

After thought on above item: "You'd almost think that Obamageddon wants
more sick people so OObamaCRAP will look successful.

Online story: " Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, one week after
launching his bid for the 2016 presidential nomination, signed a bill Monday
that outlaws non-emergency abortions at or beyond 20 weeks of pregnancy." -- You
know... while this is a pretty reasonable compromise but it's still not one the
Republicans need to be trying to legislate... abortion should be a subject
matter between a woman.. or couple.. with God, not their legislators or District
Attorneys, and doctors should have latitude (and the ultimate medical
responsibility) to care for their patients' needs.. we never need to recreate
the "back alley, rusty coat-hanger environment" of the past. Republicans should
focus on economic and safety issues that aren't triggers for single issue
voters.

Retake: "That problem about lack of chlorine in the Columbus, GA Aquatic
Center...been thinking about that...it's such a new center, why wasn't it made
with a salt purification system? In fact, maybe it was, and that explains why
there wasn't "enough" chlorine ..so maybe we need to know ..either way..why the
staff didn't know how to keep the pool satisfactory.
---
I wonder...you know that South Carolina shooting saw a ban on Confederate
flags invoked, but has there been any Muslim flags banned because of the Ft.
Hood, or the Chattanooga , or the Washington, DC Sniper Shootings? How about
doo-rags in Chicago... are those banned?

While I was pulling hard for Jordan Spieth, the results of the "Open" more
than pleased me..Zack Johnson of the USA took the playoff, and Jordan Niebrugge
won low amateur and was wearing his Oklahoma State clothes and used his Oklahoma
State bag rather than being a "NASCAR" type "billboard" for golf products.

Those CISCO ads...about your not spotting hackers...yet... You know, how
can CISCO know for sure it has caught all the hackers from infiltrating its own

Online headline: "Democrat O'Malley Forced to Apologize to Supporters for
Saying 'All Lives Matter'" -- Good grief.. why would a plea for civility upset
Democrat supporters? You know, because the audience at a Democrat political
rally is full of black activists and Pro-Choicers...

Online story: "An annual conference for state legislators is drawing more
than 1,000 lawmakers from across the southern U.S. to Savannah this weekend. *
WTOC-TV reports the lawmakers' conference is expected to have a sizable economic
impact for Savannah, filling nearly 3,000 hotel rooms" -- Hmmm... 1,000 +/-
politicians need 3,000 rooms? Sounds like more lobbyists and mistresses will be
in attendance than legislators... business as usual?
---
Online story: "A harshly worded report from the U.S. Department of
Justice’s Civil Rights Division says the state’s Georgia Network for Educational
and Therapeutic Support, or GNETS, illegally segregates children with behavioral
disabilities from other students in Georgia public schools." -- Good grief.. how
does the DOJ figure reinstating disruptive, even criminal, students back in
classrooms with students that want to learn is helping the majority to do just
that? Maybe the DOJ is actually an acronym for "Democrat Overdosed Joke".
---
You know, the DOJ sort of reminds me of my Dad when it came to fixing
mechanical problems.. if you can't fix it with a hammer, buy a new one.

Online headline: "Georgia hands diplomas to more than 10,000 people who
couldn't pass the high school graduation test" -- Wow.. that's surely going to
enhance employers respect for GA high school graduates looking for jobs....
NOT!

From the "biased? Who, ME..dia?" department - L-E headline: "Trum's ("sic"
in e-print edition) self-paid presidential run means he's not going away" --
Good grief.. a politician funding his race without outside influences gets
mauled for doing so.. on the other hand... we'll get to see mainscream media
"sit-up and beg... and wags it's tail on command" as soon as he starts looking
for ad space.
---
L-E headline: " U.N. Security Council endorses nuclear deal" -- Hey, while
Obamageddon is on a roll. why not get the UN to endorse it's delegates pay their
parking tickets and rent?
---
L-E headline: "New marijuana industry wrestles with pesticides, safety" --
you know.. it would be better if the marijuana industry wrestled with morality
and legal issues.

L-E's "Quotable": “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by
what we give.” - Winston Churchill Former British prime minister (1874-1965)" --
Hmmm... Hey Democrats... Churchill meant what we earned ourselves, and donated
ourselves... not taking and giving away other people's money.
---
L-E guest commentary: Doyle McManus: "For most of a generation, Democrats
have divided into two broad camps on economic policy. There are “growth
Democrats,” who argue that a rising tide will lift all boats; that was the
reigning view during the Bill clinton administration under Treasury secretaries
Robert Rubin and Lawrence h. summers. and there are “fairness Democrats,” who
argue that the central problem is inequality. That’s the view of the party’s
progressive wing, led today by sen. elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and sen.
Bernie sanders of Vermont. as she began spelling out her views for the 2016
presidential campaign, hillary Rodham clinton faced a choice: Which Democrat was
she going to be? her answer: she wants to be both. “I believe we have to build a
growth and fairness economy,” she said last week. “You can’t have one without
the other.” -- This reminds me of a 1962/3 political statement by the late State
Senator, Floyd Hudgins. When asked the political bombshell question about a
bypass highway near Cusseta, GA , which made a living being a speed trap,
Hudgins responded that he had friends on both sides of the issue, "but you know
me, I'm for my friends". Hmmm.. "growth or fairness/"yes or no"...", that's
exactly what Hillewinsky is saying now.. only she's for herself.
