Online story: "Norwegian mass murderer (_*_)nders B**** B****** won a place on Friday to study at Oslo University from solitary confinement in prison, despite outrage at his massacre of 77 people four years ago.
"He meets the admission requirements. We stick to our rules and he will be admitted," Oslo University rector Ole Petter Ottersen said." -- "he meets admission requirements...we stick to our rules"? Good grief... and just what are the rules? Even NCAA Division 1 programs wouldn't give a scholarship to a mass murderer, and surely the (_*_) is not studying so he can get a job when he's paroled...

---
Note on Ole Petter Ottersen in above item: "In April 2014, Ruth Vatvedt Fjeld resigned from her position as Pro-Rector, citing harassment of her by Ottersen" -- Hmmm.. Question: "Why didn't Otterson think sticking to the rules of civility were important in this situation?

---
Random thought: Right now.. I want to know if the Federal Election Commission has put a "watch" on all Clinton Foundation donations and expenditures.

---
Online story: "Google has come up with a solution to the White House's mission to close a homework gap that disables low-income students from accessing the Internet. The solution is to provide high-speed Internet to public housing projects in select cities." -- Excuse me, but shouldn't the role of public housing be to provide interim housing while people get themselves into position to move into better housing? IF so, why are housing projects being made to keep people as permanent residents?

---
I'm curious.. what's ESPN's attraction to Caitlyn Jenner? "She-IT" has never been a sportswoman, and "She-IT" is no longer Bruce the Olympian...

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "ISIS Used Chemical Weapons In Syria" -- Hey, Obamageddon.. about that "line drawn in the sand" concerning chemical weapons... Will you now admit ISIS is a terrorist organization?

---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Barack Obama’s Long Game" -- "long game"? Good grief.. Obamageddon hasn't shown "he's got game" at all!

---
Hey, Fox News, I do not care what the Muslim jihadist in Chattanooga's neighbors thought of him as a child, teenager.. It was all a ruse of deception!

---
Online story: "Summertime in Chicago, shootings ring out on the South and West sides as gang members execute drug-fueled vendettas. Bodies pile up, and innocent civilians are caught in the crossfire. " -- Good grief... how can anyone think there are "non-violent" drug offenders in prison? Besides, has anyone even asked if the "non-violent" drug offenders want to be returned to the streets? It ain't no trick question.. but if they answer "yes", then they shouldn't be released... a "no" answer should be respected.

Online story: "The Justice Department announced a deal Friday requiring Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio to provide services in Spanish to his jail inmates, settling part of a two-year-old discrimination complaint the Obama administration filed against the man known as “America’s Sheriff.” * Federal authorities will also become permanent overseers for all worksite raids, with the power to demand information about any raids that deputies perform. The Justice Department says it will scrutinize them to make sure they’re following the Constitution." -- "make sure they're following the Constitution"? Good grief... America needs to demand the DOJ monitors Obamageddon and the Left-wing 4 of the Supreme Court to make sure they are following the Constitution!

Attention! Just want to announce that my son-in-law who just finished his first year of law school at UGA has been selected for Law Review.. to the legal eagles in our readership, you may contact his agent (yours truly) to bid for his summer internship... send proper financial statements when applying!
---
WTVM9 story: "Claims of illegal Phenix City pipes dumping raw sewage into the Chattahoochee river has created quite the buzz" -- Hmmm...and once Queen TT's Lounge is operational on this side of the river,,, kayakers will get hit with it from both sides!

With the weather delay yesterday, and the probabilities favoring this being Tom Watson's final round for the British Open at St. Andrews, having his tee time put him ending up in the dark was rather a poor way to highlight the importance Watson contributed to the game of golf. .. perhaps the British Open should have moved Watson's group's tee time up... but it didn't.. and that's the way it was.

You know...if we erase all history of the era of slavery, who's have anything to complain or be angry about?
For that matter, who'd have any pride as to who has climbed up to success?

Soapbox moment: The City's Aquatic Center is a mess because there was no proper planning of fees necessary to be charged to actual users to insure costs would be adequate to pay for the expense of it. To continue to operate at a planned loss is abominable.. and we'd be better served to close the Aquatic Center rather than it be a continual drain on tax dollars. Post new adequate rates to the current users and if they drop out, then so be it.

In a L-E follow-up to an inadequately reported story involving an aggravated sodomy charge at Brookstone School, interim headmaster Frank Brown reported that a report to authorities was properly made in February, and the Columbus Police Department denied that claim. Whoever assured Frank Brown that the report was filed should be exposed immediately! Frank Brown must have been set-up to respond that a report was filed in February as required. I've known Frank Brown for decades, and know of no one I hold in higher esteem as an educator or man. The Brookstone Board should take whatever steps necessary to correct the situation and restore Frank Brown's reputation.

Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "We have the "Right to Work" law here in Georgia, which lets your employer fire you for any reason and no explanation. We need unions, lawyers and representatives to protect workers' rights." -- Good grief... who ever heard of an employee being fired for doing a good job for his employer?
---
Jonathan Gruber's assistant working in Mayor TomLYINGson's office L-E "soundoff": "Congratulations, Teresa, on your election as chairwoman of the board of directors of Sweetbriar College. I know you will be successful in leading this valuable and historic institution into the future." -- Good grief.. the question to be asked is why a school suffering financial problems would hire a board chairperson who doesn't know how to create a budget with the available revenue sources generated by the users.. Just look at Columbus' budget and the Aquatic Center and the Civic Center, the Golf Course, and the Ice Rink ....
