Online story: " Gun-toting citizens are showing up at military recruiting centers around the country, saying they plan to protect recruiters following last week's killing of four Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga, Tennessee." -- This is why our founding fathers were so adamant about our 2nd Amendment.. if the president won't protect our military, we can.... we must!

Just when you thought it was safe to get back into political waters... Blagojevich rehappens. There should be an investigation or the 3 Court of Appeals judges finances. I had finally unlearned how to spell Blagojevich, and now it's moved back in front of the memory line....

---
Online headline: "Congress tackles 'sanctuary cities' after SF shooting" -- Always "after"... somehow "sanctuary cities" were allowed to "happen" in defiance of existing laws.. Why didn't the DOJ go after those cities when this happened? I suggest that any Representative of a city on "the list" be removed and made to run for re-election and an election fraud team be assigned to every precinct in such cities.

---
Good grief.. The DOJ has dropped the ball... literally.. the baseBALL.. in the case against Barry Bonds on obstruction of justice in the criminal investigation about his steroid denial. Even Obamageddon cannot dismiss those charges based on a "non-violent drug offense"... did you ever see anyone else swing a bat with such violence?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Alexis Tsipras Transforms Himself As He Sells Greek Bailout Terms" -- "Transforms"? Good grief.. who does Tsipras feel he is.. a Clinton and Obamageddon mutated clone?

---
Dueling headline: "Kerry: Complaints by congressional critics of Iran deal are ‘without merit’ * U.S. 'disturbed' by Iranian leader's criticism after deal" -- Kerry is learning that support of the mainscream media only works on stupid Democrat domestic policies.. It's not a good sign when American voters and Iranian jihadists are laughing at the results of a "deal".

---
Just got back from the Florida Gulf..It was strange paying less for gas there than in Columbus, GA.

---
Can you believe that Obamageddon blames ..no, STILL blames, Bush for the mess in Iraq because...BECAUSE Bush didn't get support from other countries before attacking Iraq? Good grief, this coming from a man who will not call ISIS a terrorist force, will not support Israel (our only true ally in the mid-east), and Bush having to rebuild our military from the ravages of Clinton.

L-E story: "A new report on child welfare that found more U.S. children living in poverty than before the Great Recession belies the fanfare of the nation’s economic turnaround. * Twenty-two percent of American children were living in poverty in 2013 compared with 18 percent in 2008, according to the latest Kids Count Data Book, with poverty rates nearly double among African-Americans and American Indians and problems most severe in South and Southwest." -- Hmmm... a 22% over all increase (double for African-Americans) under Obamageddon.. guess this is another casualty of raising the National Debt and not knowing how to create private sector jobs ..You know, one of the most disturbing figures floating around is the number of children considered "in poverty". What do the figures really show? In my opinion, it shows the abject failure of the welfare reward system for single parenting and the Sex Ed classes in public schools promoting promiscuity.

There's a poll out saying 62% would not vote for Trump if he was the Republican candidate in 2016. You know...this is not a condemnation of Trump ..we know 40 of those 62 are Democrats who aren't going to vote for any Republican, so only 22 of the other 60 people are dead set against Trump as a candidate. Like I've been saying, Trump is bringing real issues up for discussion and about 2/3rds of non-Democrats are listening, so which Republican will pick up Trump's message and learn to deliver it with diplomacy...that one will win in 2016 .

---
It's depressing that the Republican Party hasn't added 2 + 2 and gotten 4 when it comes to the attraction of people for Trump. It's about as simple as Trump having successes in life..real life... and being proud of himself. Romney would have won if he presented himself as proudly as Trump but the Republican hierarchy gagged him and made him seem apologetic for being successful.

---
With so many choices in the Republican chase for the presidential nomination, you'd think one of them could diplomatically reflect the messages being championed by Trump. None of them will be electable in November of 2016 if all they do is address each others' "faults" rather than just expound on how they can bring solutions to our nation if elected.

---
John Kasich has had the best "coming out" speech of all the other Republican politicians. He may be the electable Republican to take Trump's bravado and guts to the nation.

---
Following the videos showing Planned Parenthood body part sellers, there are calls for politicians to give the donations received from Planned Parenthood back. Back? Those donations ought to be refunded to the taxpayers!

---
L-E story: "A 51-year-old Columbus man told authorities that someone shot him early this morning outside of Wilson Apartments at 3400 8th Ave., according to a report. * Columbus Police said they were called to the apartment complex immediately after the 2:58 a.m. incident." -- "apartment complex"? You know.. there should be some sort of curfew hour for public housing projects.. there's no reason families living there should be subject to 3:00 AM activities.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Life is the art of drawing without an eraser.” — John W. Gardner, American government official (1912-2002). -- Hmmm.. now we know why liberals want to live life with other people's money...
---
From the L-E's "Today in History" feature: " In 1975, the U.S. House of Representatives joined the Senate in voting to restore the American citizenship of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. (President Gerald R. Ford signed the measure on Aug. 5.)" -- Hmmm.. let's look at the break down of politics in 1975: The US Senate had 60 Democrats plus an Independent that caucused with them.. the US House had 291 Democrats (Only 10 votes in Congress opposed the bill) and Republicans had 144.. Of the 26 Senators representing the Secessionist Stares, 19 were Democrats, and in the House, 12 of the Secessionist States had Democrat majorities (and the 13th, Virginia, had a 5-5 split). Only 10 votes in Congress opposed the bill. Why are Republicans being scape-goated on this issue when Democrats were always responsible for the problems?
