June is about over, and in Chicago, 327 homicides have occurred .. this compares 'to only" 224 for the same period last year..Looks like a long hot summer is in store.. using 2015's 506 homicides as a reference, 2016 is on schedule for nearly 740.. maybe a new gun law would help.. yeah.. right.. except there aren't any categories of gun laws that haven't bee written in Chicago..some are even unconstitutional as it is.

Here's name you probably didn't see this past week,, why.. and why should you care... OK.. Charlie Rangel... sound familiar? It should if it doesn't, he's a low-life member of the House from NY.. Demo crat, of course... what's important is that the House Ethics Committee found him guilty on 11 of 13 ethics charges (hmmm.. "ethics charges".. sorta sounds like an oxymoron). In fact, it took at least one vote by a Democrat to bring these charges to "the floor". The Ethics Committee is equally split between Democrats and Republicans.. 4-4.. Now.. what's even more disturbing than Rangel's being elected and re-elected since 1970 is that you're probably hearing about this from my blog rather than a mainscream media source.. It was released on FRIDAY...
