Online headline: "Mark Cuban questions if Donald Trump is actually a billionaire" -- Hmmm.. sounds like Mark Cuban has left himself unquestioned about being an (_*_).

---
From above story: "Cuban told the radio hosts he had looked at the filing and wasn't convinced by Trump's self-proclaimed net worth. He did give Trump credit for being good at real estate, but said he "wasn't very good at brands for non-real estate products," calling some of his deals "desperate."  * "So when you're putting your name on steaks, and you're putting your name on water, you're putting your name on playing cards, you're putting your name on all this nonsense, right? You're not gonna make big bucks, no matter what. It's not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It's not like it was gonna make him $5 million." --  "calling some of his deals "desperate." ?  Good grief.. Cuban is on Shark Tank bidding on partnering with cupcake and doggy treat makers.

---
Online headline/story: "2 dead in murder-suicide on UCLA campus * Two male adults are dead after an apparent murder-suicide on the University of California at Los Angeles campus, the chief of the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed on Wednesday. * The victims were found in an office inside UCLA's Engineering IV building, where the shooting took place. * CBS News affiliate KNX cited a law enforcement source who said the shooting may have stemmed from an issue concerning grades." -- Well, it looks like a student probably use to a participation trophy environment and non-score-kept games could not accept/deal with a reality grade.. Wanna bet?

---
Online headline: "Clinton blasts Trump, calls him a 'fraud'" -- Looks like the set up of a classic Pee Wee Herman response.. "I know you are but what am I".

---
Online headline: "Tonys: Barbra Streisand to make first appearance in 46 years" -- Big Deal!.. I've avoided the Tonys for 69 years and probably will avoid each one to come as well.

---
Online headline: "Poll reveals 2 big obstacles Clinton faces in election" -- What.. is this something of a politically incorrect "Poll-ish Joke"? You don't need a POLL  to know the answer is Hillary, herself, and hubby Bill.. Besides.. neither Bernie nor I would touch either with a 10 foot Poll.

---
November's election will be about whether you want politicians who approach issues with a "let's roll" attitude and gets things done, or ones that say "that might offend someone"...

---
Sore losers in the GOP are wanting to back a complete unknown as a 3rd Party candidate. Their reasoning is that any "John Doe" can poll 10-12% of the voters.. good grief, they could get more than 10-12% putting Mickey Mouse on the ballot..of course, Hillary would lose the most votes.

---
Why is there still conversation on the decision to shoot that gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo? I'd like to see a "Terminator" sequel in which 'the Arnold' returns to the past and convinces all the mothers-to-be of all those who have signed petitions questioning the shooting to get abortions so there will be sanity on the issue.

---
The DOJ says court ordered mandatory "ethics" training "too costly" to initiate...oh, like sending in DA's to prosecute people before all the facts have been presented to, and found warranting by, a Grand Jury is in anybody's best interest?

---
Why is mainscream media on to Trump about keeping his promises about his Veterans fund raiser? You know...when you hold a fund raising event, and people/companies make "pledges", it doesn't mean everyone honors their pledges, or pays them in a timely manner. Telethons are the worst, as people may call in just to hear their names called out for making a donation. Trump just paid out $5.6 Million from his fund raiser for veteran organizations which indicates not all who pledged has ponied up. We see it locally with our United Way..UW will play up the pledge numbers, and companies pledging get public praise, but most likely 15 +/-% will never be paid. This sorta explains why UW comes up short on it's distributions..A lot of shortages could be averted if UW also announces the amount of pledges, and who made them, that get reneged on. Of course, UW wouldn't be able to celebrate as loudly on meeting its stated goal until the money is paid.

You know, mainscream media would do more of a service to this country if it questioned Hillary about all the unkept promises she had made.. starting with Benghazi.

---
A new Quinnepac poll says "voters" say they believe Hillary would be better than Trump at getting things done in Washington...HUH?. Isn't this what we want to change...electing someone who isn't a part of the nothing-ever-gets-done-in-Washington syndrome?

---
What is it about mainscream media that it cannot...maybe..will not, grasp Trump's appeal to voters? I guess it's because Trump does not kowtow to it. The Democrat and Republican Parties should take note..the majority of Americans are just responding to Trump because he sees a problem, and also sees a solution, while mainscream media and establishment politicians fret over offending one or two people.

L-E story: " State officials are asking for public input on a master plan development of Standing Boy Creek State Park in Muscogee County. A meeting is set for 6-8 p.m. June 7 at the City Services Center, 3111 Citizens Way. The planning firm Lose & Associates will lead the meeting. * The property on Lake Oliver, which is part of the Chattahoochee River, is currently a Wildlife Management Area. The Department of Natural Resources is exploring options for turning the 1,580 acres into a state park," -- Hmmm.. 1,580 acres were sold/donated (?) out of the Muscogee County tax database.. exactly how did Columbus benefit from losing all the tax revenues on that property?

---
As Columbus' Council is mulling over the new budget for Fiscal 2017, wonder if there's any mention of how much money has been saved since garbage collections were reduced to once a week last September?

---
L-E headline: "‘Beer Boys’ in right place, right time" -- Has anyone considered that most of the CSU students are under 21 when they are extolling the virtues and possibilities of additional beer bars in the downtown area? Once again, why hasn't the state of GA started requiring such establishments to have driver's license readers a the door and the bar like they do at polling stations?

---
L-E's "Quoatable": "The Price of Greatness is Responsibility." - Winston Churchill, British statesman (1874-1965) -- Hmmm no wonder ZERO-bama was so anxious to remove a bust of Chirchill from the White House!

---
L-E story: "   Jonathan Mossberg has already made a smart gun — a shotgun that can only be discharged by someone wearing a ring that communicates with a chip inside the weapon, unlocking it." -- Hmmm.. so if home invaders hit your home and steal your Mossberg "Smart" shotgun, they will also cut off your finger to get the ring that activates it? Or what if you're hunting, and a rabid raccoon attacks and startles you and you drop your "Smart" shotgun. Your son picks it up and has a clear shot at that raccon, but the gun won't fire and the rabid raccoon bites you.. Hmm.. "Smart" guns don't really sound too smart..

L-E story: " Donald Trump suffered a rare defeat Wednesday when the World Golf Championships event held at a course he owns outside Miami was moved to Mexico City. The PGA Tour announced that it was ending a 54-year relationship with Doral, which Trump bought in 2012 and spent $250 million renovating, because it could not find a sponsor to replace Cadillac, whose contract ran out this year. * Tim Finchem, the PGA Tour commissioner, said the move was motivated by Cadillac’s decision not to renew its title sponsorship and the Tour’s inability to find a sponsor for the Miami area. * He said it had nothing to do with the politics of Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential candidate." -- Hmmm.. "moved to Mexico City"?  "move was motivated by Cadillac's decision not to renew it's title sponsorship" "?  " nothing to do with the politics of Trump"? -- Good grief.. it sounds like it has EVERYTHING to do with politics.. Cadillac is a union arm of Government Motors, and the PGA is moving the tournament to Mexico City. Hmm like I said, it sounds like it has EVERYTHING to do with politics. Hope Trump schedules a $20,000,000.00/winner-take-all exhibition match with Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, and Ricky Fowler the same weekend as the Mexico City tournament..

---
L-E story: " The impact of low oil prices has continued to hobble the finances of U.S. banks, which posted increased loan losses in the first quarter driven by a huge jump in delinquent energy loans. *  Much of the exposure to energy loans sits with the big Wall Street banks, which made billions of dollars in loans during the boom to finance oil production in Texas, North Dakota and elsewhere. The six largest U.S. banks — JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley — have billions of dollars of exposure to energy loans that won’t all be paid back" -- Hmmm.. no wonder Hillary is not releasing transcripts of her $250,000.00 speeches she made to "Big Banks".

---
L-E's Business Page "headline collage": "U.S. bank earnings dip 2% in first quarter" & "U.S. construction spending tumbled during April" & "U.S. auto sales fall during May * May is usually one of the strongest months of the year for the U.S. auto industry But last month, U.S. auto sales were expected to drop 7 percent to 1.5 million cars and trucks"  -- Hmmm .. What a dilemma for Hillary .. losing on her own, and can not count on ZERO-bama's coattails for a third term.  What's really sad is that ZERO-bama could not jump-start the economy on the trucking and manufacturing industries having their energy costs reduced to 21st Century lows.

---
Good grief.. has anyone kept tabs of how much money "Together 2016" has spent on ads running in the L-E? My guess is the homeless problem in Columbus could have been solved if that money was applied to that problem..or the City's "fund balance" could have been made whole again with a donation that size.
