British citizens decided to leave the EU because they were tired of a foreign entity deciding on how British citizens must live...it sorta explains why American citizens are supporting Trump versus Washington.

Britain's unanticipated vote to leave the EU just reflects, reinforces, the universal adages that "it's the economy" & "people vote with their wallets". Hopefully, Americans who still have hopes of keeping their own money it their wallets will turn out in greater number than the voters who show up at the polls voting for Democrats who promise to refill their voters wallets from what they can take from hard working Americans' wallets.
