Another officer and the suspect were also injured in the shooting, sheriff's Lt. John Corina said at the news conference. *  "It's extremely tragic," Corina said. "You've got a couple officers who just responded to a traffic accident, and they think they're there to help out people involved in a traffic accident. Next thing they know, they got this guy shooting at them. He shoots both of them and kills one of them." * Corina said the suspect, who is only being identified as a 26 year-old man, was allegedly driving a stolen car and may be involved in a killing that happened early Monday in East L.A.

As you "might" suspect, the "career Criminal" who was out of jail on "early release" was not white...All I can think of at this point is that what if the killer was an "Obama release" and/or a non-citizen...

"A recently paroled gang member killed his cousin and stole his car Monday, then shot and killed a Whittier, Calif. police officer and wounded his partner before being wounded himself, authorities said. * The suspect, a 26-year-old gang member, had a history of serious crimes and had been granted early release from Los Angeles County jail about a week ago" -- "killed his cousin"? Like the rest of CA has a chance the thug would be compassionate towards them?  Well, now we must still wait for citizenship status.

I tell you what...with there being a full year before we have to really begin to focus on the next election cycle, I'm going to remove political frustration from my schedule. Yesterday, I either changed back and forth between Fox News and Fox Business whenever agenda based liberals/Rinos appeared on different shows..My remote's battery comparment heated up, but made it through the day. No more Karl Rove, Shepard Smith, Juan Williams, Geraldo, Jemu Greene, Alan Colmes, Blob Beckel or others. During the 5:00 hour, I even switched to Hallmark after switching from Rove on Fox Business, and got Blob Beckel on Fox's "The Five".

I'd say that "saving money" was a definitely pertinent aspect, even though the stopping power of the 45-cal should be a concern for officers' safety.
