If you have Netflix.. there is a movie available that you must watch... "Woman in Gold",, I don't even remember if it was offered at the theaters in the Columbus, GA viewing area, but it's EXCELLENT... as is the cast..It stars Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds in the main roles. It's about restitution of art stolen by the Nazi's and the difficulties of a Jewish woman trying to recover a particular personal painting that had ended up as the "star" in the Austrian government's museum. Of note is the transformation of a previously less than successful lawyer who came into his own... See it! It will bless your time..

Hey, FOX & FRIENDS... after watching Geraldo rant his support on your and my time yesterday AM on letting improperly vetted refugees et al come into our country, I am turning you off as soon as you announce his presence on any future shows.

Speaking of Geraldo.. remember last year when jihadist terrorized Paris? Remember the angst as Geraldo feared for his daughter who was in Paris at the time? He had a different opinion of unvetted "travelers" at that time.. I suspect his current position reflects his disdain for Trump.. and wanting to regain importance in the mainscream media/A-List world of fantasy. Oh.. by the way.. "Geraldo" isn't his birth name.. He was born Gerald.. and added the "o" to sound more Latino...

It's strange, if nothing else, that the 3-judge appeal panel didn't publish Trump's actual Executive Order in their decision. If there was anything in the Executive Order that was illegally, they could have easily pointed it out... and they SHOULD have.

---
I am so glad that Trump is our President.. any other Republican would roll over and play dead (hmmm... that's probably why the Republican primary voters rejected - other than Cruz -  all the other candidates.. they were DOGS!) Trump standing up against the lower court judges is part of his "drain the swamp" movement that has endeared him to the American voters.

---
Speaking of the 3 judge panel.. did you see Hellary's "tweet... simply, "3-0"..Would someone remind Hellary that she was not only "0 for 3" in WI, MI, & PA, but she's "0 for 2" in presidential efforts.

Soapbox Moment: Trump should revoke Gorsuch's nomination...not because he not qualified, nor because he's become less qualified since his nomination.. but.. when he commented on Trump's comment about the court being wrong on staying his Executive Order. Because it's an issue that may come up before the Supreme Court after his confirmation,  Gorsuch has set himself up to have to recuse himself when this does comes before the Supreme Court, and with the politics of some of the current Justices, a 4-4 decision would send it back to the lower judge's decision which was wrong... just plain wrong.

Yesterday was "Day of Rage" in Iran, and demonstrators burned US flags in protest of the ENTRY ban.. Who cares! I had a "day of rage" as well.. RAGE at mainscream media covering the Iran "Day of Rage".

Online headline/story: "Georgia settles suit challenging voter registration process *  The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Georgia will no longer reject voter registration applications that don’t exactly match identifying information in state and federal databases. * Candice Broce, a spokeswoman for Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, says the settlement was advised by the state’s attorney general and will avoid the cost of further litigation." --  Won't "reject voter registration applications that don't match identifying information"? ... To "avoid the cost of further litigation"? Wait a damn minute.. what is the cost of litigation got to do with making sure voter fraud is not ended!  As far as I'm concerned, Brian Kemp is no longer worthy of becoming the next GA Governor, and Deal should take action against him staying on as Secretary of State!

L-E headline/story: "$1 million plaza planned for Martin Pedestrian Bridge, RiverWalk * The Georgia Department of Transportation is paying $800,000 of the costs and the city will pick up the other $200,000, according to an agreement the Columbus Council approved in December. * The local 20 percent match will come from the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax discretionary funds and is already budgeted in the fiscal 2017 Capital Improvement Program." -- Let's talk about who's REALLY paying for ALL the bill, and, in Columbus taxpayers situation, OVERPAYING! The bill is for $1,000,000.00 taxdollars.. but that's not the whole story.. Those $200,000.00 coming from the T-SPLOST.. well since Columbus only gets .85 cents back out of each $1.00 we pay in, then the $200,000.00 is actually costing us about $230,000.00!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Protesters block Education Secretary Betsy DeVos' entry into DC school" -- Sorta explains why public schools have floundered.. floundered so that Democrats do not want new people to know what's been going on inside of them...

---
From the "hmmm... and we wonder why education is at new lows" department - Online story: "The principal of a fancy New York City private school says the election of President Trump is worse than the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. * Steve Nelson, principal of the Calhoun School, fired off a hate-filled email to parents blasting the president. He also said Trump's election would be more devastating than Vietnam, Watergate and the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr." -- I hate to give (_*_)s media highlights, but this guy's name should be on the tip of the tongue of every citizen who is ever charged with finding a new principal for any school in their community.. STEVE NELSON... certifiable prick!

---
Hmmm.. Trump just finished his 3rd week since his inauguration as our 45th Presodent.. At the rate that liberals are imploding so far, there may be none left to vote in 2018...

---
From the "well, well, well" department - Online headline/story: "ICE: Southern California raids were planned for a while, not tied to Trump * Immigration arrests across Southern California over the past week were planned before President Trump took office and could be compared to similar operations the occurred last summer, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said." -- "planned BEFORE Trump took office"? Hmmm... oh... then all the liberal frenzy and protests of a Mexican mother being deported  should really be aimed at OBAMA.. and his legacy.

---
L-E headline/story: "Holocaust survivor: My father said, ‘We’re home, we’re going to be safe’ * “And then I looked out, and I kind of saw what he was crying about,” Greenblat said Thursday. “What I saw was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen — the Statue of Liberty. She was lit up. I guess it’s the imagination of an 8-year-old, but I had never seen anything like that. * “My father said, ‘We’re home, we’re going to be safe,’” he said." -- Hmm.. and now immigrants/refugees look around and wonder if the person next to them may kill them in America with a jihadist terror attack.

L-E commentary/content: "Why ban, temporary or not, was a bad idea * As the (temporary) travel ban executive order hit the newsstands, it seemed like a no-brainer victory for the White House, I suppose. Muslims from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen would not be allowed to enter the United States for a period of time. It was sure to please the conservative base, and divide the Democrats between progressives who would oppose it, and moderates unwilling to oppose it, in the hopes of winning in 2018 and 2020" -- Good grief! As Ronald Reagan might say, "Well, ASSociate professor John Tures, there you go again."   It's not, nor ever has been, a "TRAVEL BAN"! It is a temporary "ENTRY BAN" into the US from countries who have no stable governments nor diplomatic relations with the US. Therefore, the US has no expectations of being able to "vet" refugees or random travelers from those 7 countries, and it is of benefit to our nations safety to stop such situations until the US can validate identities of people trying to gain access to our country.
