Online story: "It members of Congress are flying around the globe a whole lot more, and you're the one paying for it. * According to a report in USA Today, From November 2015 through November 2016, taxpayers paid for more than 550 trips that cost more than $10,000 each. This is all part of a dramatic increase in Congressional travel.-- Wanna put a stop to this.. let Trump know it's "OK" if Congress wants to travel on the taxpayers dime, but.. BUT, he can cut the initial expense by allowing only 1-way fares, and AND we get a bonus in future saving because "they" want be in Washington to spend MORE of our money on government programs!

Online story: "A respected historian from France was detained for 10 hours by immigration agents at a Texas airport. * Rousso is an expert on post-World War I France and the Holocaust. He was traveling to the U.S. to speak at symposium at Texas A&M University. *  He had a valid tourist visa allowing him to visit the U.S. and accept a $2,000 payment for his speaking engagement. * Rousso told the Houston Chronicle: "No question, I'll be a little reluctant to come back, even if I love this country." -- "reluctant to come back"? Well, I guess so.. especially when he realized the check for 12,391 French Francs was worth on $2,000.00 American dollars.. yet Hellary would probably have been paid $200,000,00 dollars or 1,239, 174 French Francs.

Online headline: "Rachel Dolezal, white woman who identifies as black, now jobless, may soon be homeless" -- You know.. she was once the successful leader of the Spokane NAACP chapter . Being ousted is a blight on the NAACP's pertinence.. she may not have been black, but she is colored.. white is a color, too.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Group petitions Barack Obama to run for president of France" -- Hummm.. Maybe the working class will petition Trump to buy the Elysee Palace in Paris so Obama wouldn't have a place to live.

---
The DNC chair race just proves again that to Democrats..black doesn't matter..at least not as much as GREEN! Perez was backed by Obama and the Clintons.

---
Americans' wealth has increased by $3 TRILLION DOLLARS since Trump's election .. Americans' 401K and private pension plans have buoyed working Americans' spirits..Of course, mainscream media has ignored this as have Democrats. Too bad Social Security plans have not grown..but blame Democrats ..particularly Algore and his "lockbox" (and remember the man who was given the one talent and buried it).

---
Mainscream media gasped when Connecticut's governor signed into law that anyone with a proper gun license can carry it concealed. Why is mainscream media more upset that law abiding gun owners can carry concealed weapons than mainscream media is about criminals carrying guns at all.

---
Nancy Pelosi said Trump has done nothing his first month in office. You know, this really explains OObamaCRAP...it wasn't a matter of not reading it, obviously..Pelosi can't read at all!

---
How compassionate is it really for liberals to want illegal aliens in our country just to work low paying laborer jobs so that they can enjoy lower cost organic grapes to make wine?

---
Online story: "(Columbus Mayor Tom-LYING-son) says the city is being remade because of big, bold audacious ideas. She boasts that only last year the Columbus Consolidated Government was named one of the 50 best-run cities in the whole country." -- Interesting.. just this past December, WTVM9 ran a story showing Columbus was one of the financially worst run cities in America.. Believe I'// believe the WTVM9 story rather than Tom-LYING-son's.

---
From the "proof is in the pudding" department - Online headline/story: "Georgia among top 10 states that take most from your paycheck * Taxes can snatch out a big chunk of your paycheck, but some places take more than others. In fact, Georgia is one of them, ranking No. 8 for states where workers clear the least amount on pay day. " -- I do believe this nails Tom-LYING-son's claims about how ell run the city is versus WTVM9's facts about Columbus' financial woes.

---
Related headline/story to above: "Bill to slash state income tax rate moving through the Georgia House * Georgia House leaders are moving to lower the state’s top income tax rate in what could be an important first step toward significant reductions in how much Georgians pay. * A new report said the first step, House Bill 329, would save Georgians about $154 million a year, with three-quarters of that savings going to those earning more than $97,000 a year." -- Hmmm.. sponsored by Powell, Kelley, Williamson, Harrell, Blackmon, and Stephens...  absent is our local 133rd Rep John Pezold .. after trying so hard to RAISE homeowners'  property taxes, guess it wouldn't sit well with Tom-LYING-son and the other Democrats to sponsor a tax cut.. of course, Pezold hasn't stepped up in opposition yet, but who could blame him.. the tax cuts primarily benefit people making $97,000.00 a year or more.. especially the "or more".

---
Online headline/story: "Energy regulator warns new bill would kill solar in Georgia * House Bill 479, sponsored by Rep. Don Parsons, R-Marietta, chairman of the House Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications Committee, would prohibit the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) from dictating the energy mix utilities use to generate electricity." -- Good grief, now we have to have one group of politician struggling with another group of politicians about who knows more than God!

---
From the "Democrat mayors must go to Economic DOH! classes" department -- Online headline/story: "Distributors say layoffs coming because of Philly soda tax *  Two months into Philadelphia’s 1.5 cents PER OUNCE soda tax, distributors are reporting 30-50 percent declines in sales and saying that hundreds of layoffs are coming. *  ShopRite told Philly.com that it will have to lay off 300 workers, while one of the largest distributors said it will have to slash 20 percent of its workforce. *  The soda tax comes on top of the existing 8 percent sales tax, adding $2.16 to the cost of 12-pack of soda. * Mayor Jim Kenney said the companies are being greedy for passing the cost of the tax onto consumers instead of reducing their bottom lines." -- The mayor said what! That businesses that don't absorb the tax are "greedy"?  I guess he really means that governments that raise taxes on consumers are not.. Let's pray that by 2018.. 2020 at the latest, that liberals protesting Trump's good business practices in government have completely imploded so we don't have to deal with the possibility of getting another Democrat mayor in Columbus!

---
Online story: "The Trump administration plans to abandon the federal government's longstanding opposition to a key portion of Texas' toughest-in-the-nation voter ID law, a U.S. Justice Department spokesman said Monday. * It's a dramatic break from the agency under President Barack Obama, which spent years arguing that the 2011 voter ID law that Texas' Republican-controlled Legislature passed was intended to disenfranchise poor and minority voters." -- "dramatic break"? Yeah.. it supports the US Constitution so that actual citizen's votes are the only ones that count.. maybe checking voter rolls against death notices and closed Social Security Accounts will be next.

---
Online headline/story: "Gov. Sununu blasts senators for opposing Electoral College * CONCORD, N.H. —
Gov. Chris Sununu says it is “appalling” and “indefensible” that Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan favor replacing the Electoral College with the popular vote for choosing presidents in the future" -- Thank goodness we don't have a woman president, to, who does not know .. or seemingly care.. that they swore an oath to represent all the people, and DEFEND the Constitution.

---
Well-stated L-E "soundoff": "With all the success claimed by the TV lawyers in their commercials, it seems they could rely on word of mouth for business and eliminate all those irritating ads." -- Bravo... and to think at one time lawyers COULDN'T advertise.. and I supported their right to do so.. guess that was my flaw in my 99.99% "right on target" messaging.

---
From the "nails it wrongly" department: LIV's L-E "soundoff": "First Amendment freedom of the press includes, ironically, the right to openly lie and distort facts to advance a political agenda that is contrary to the Constitution." -- Tis not why the 1st Amendment was written.. our Founding Fathers wanted to guarantee our press could print the truth.. little did our Founding Father's envision liberals being in charge of our education system would distort this intended purpose to our Journalism students.

---
L-E headline: "Complaint filed over city’s SPLOST spending" -- Yes... it's a can of worms down at Tom'LYING-son's Tower.. on the other hand, maybe  we can get a suit filed over the MCSD's SPLOST spendings as well.. slad/metal buildings for wrestling/weight rooms CANNOT cost $312.00+ a square ft, and how can $300,000.00 be spent on "softball field improvements for Columbus High School when CHS doesn't even HAVE a softball field.. a public park field belonging to the City is the field they use. Hmmm.. hough after hearing the MCSB has approved over $900,000.00 to buy and improve property as a 50-60 car parking lot at CHS.. $300,000.00 for a non-existent softball field doesn't sound as bad.

---

L-E headline: "BlueCross BlueShield office in Columbus still waiting on a buyer" -- well.. if Trump straightens out OObamaCRAP as expected, Blue Cross Blue Shield can probably move back into that facility.. it'll have no reason to keep the extra 400 paper-shuffling jobs it had to add to handle OObamaCRAP, so  BCBS won't need the extra space at Technology Center.
