Online story: "The Obama administration will sue the state of North Carolina on Monday in an effort to block an array of voting restrictions passed by Republican officials this year, a source briefed on the Justice Department's plans told The Huffington Post. * DOJ will also ask a federal judge to force the state to seek permission from the Justice Department or in federal court to make changes to its voting laws and procedures, using the bail-in process under Section 3 of the Voting Rights Act." -- What vindictiveness! Judas 00-bama's ego must be built like an iceberg... what we see is but 10% or so of what it actually is. First, the new law was not a "Republican officials" act, it was a law passed by two chambers of duly elected representatives and signed by a duly elected governor. Case closed.

There is only one reason not to require valid identification for voter registration; there are millions of reasons TO require one.

---

OK, the House has submitted a valid alternative to the Senate to avoid a shutdown, and the Senate has to act. Where are the headlines, "It's up the Democrats to stop the government shutdown"?

---

Mainstream media looks at the loggerhead between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party as a one way story. Is that what the mainstream media's job is? Not if it has journalistic integrity. Journalism has digressed to a point where it seemingly desires to create public opinion rather than report facts, and let the public decide for itself.

---

Online story: "BOSTON -- College graduates struggling to repay their student loans should have an easier time getting their debt eliminated if they go into bankruptcy, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Saturday." -- The idiot sits in our Senate and preaches about the importance of the "full faith and credit" of the US. Excuse me, but the "full faith and credit" of the US is built upon the "full faith and credit" of its citizens.

---

Judas 00-bama vows he won't negotiate the "full faith and credit" of the United States. Does he mean only with Republicans, because he sure has kicked the "full faith and credit" our allies use to feel assured of.

---

I just made an online order, and for the second time, the GA sales tax was charged on the shipping and handling fees. It's coming via the USPS. How can a sales tax be added on US postage? Have you ever been charged a sales tax at the Post Office?

---

Online headline: "Reid's Spokesman Says Senate Will Reject House Bill" -- "Reid's Spokesman"? Our Senators have spokespersons? No wonder Reid doesn't want to operate under a budget!

From the "who'da thunkit" department - Acura has 3, yes, 3 of 10 the worst selling models in America. In fact, Acura has 3 of the 6 worst selling vehicles in America.

You can bet the Democrats will never show the movie "Lincoln" at a National Convention. When Lincoln was discussing what he needed to get the 13th Amendment passed so it could be given to the states to vote on,he told his confidant that "he had ALL the Republicans", but needed to find 20 Democrats to sign it. Imagine, it was the Democrats that fought ending slavery in 1865, just as they enacted it in 1965 with LBJ's "Great Society".

---

Anyone watch the movie "Lincoln"? His Attorney General, James Speed, son of John Speed and Lucy Gilmer Fry Speed, was the great-grandson of Col Joshua Fry, my ggggg-grandfather. Just a neat random thought I'm passing on. Mary Todd Lincoln was also kin, as was John C. Breckenridge, who ran against Lincoln in 1860... and became the Secretary of War for the South. Talk about a "House Divided".

---

Mainstream media is livid because Senator Cruz "tweeted" a picture of a chess board on which the kings/queens positions were reversed. Republicans are damned if they adhere to traditional gender positions and damned if they equalize women and men. Why do Republicans TRY to relate to the liberals. Samual L. Jackson just cursed Judas 00-bama for trying to "relate" rather than lead.. the same is true for Republicans.
---
Online story: "Islamic terrorists dressed in Nigerian military uniforms assaulted a college inside the country Sunday, gunning down dozens of students as they slept in their dorms and shot others trying to flee, witnesses say. * "They started gathering students into groups outside, then they opened fire and killed one group and then moved onto the next group and killed them. It was so terrible," one surviving student, who would only give his first name of Idris, told Reuters." -- You know Sharpton or Jackson ain't going to go there, but where does Louis Farrakhan, absolute leader of the Nation of Islam stand on this?
---
McClatchy story: "A year ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu captured international attention when he drew a red line on a cartoon likeness of a bomb during a speech at the United Nations on Iran’s nuclear program. * When he addresses the world body on Tuesday, a day after meeting President Barack Obama, he will face a more daunting task." -- Isn't the real story here that Judas 00-bama is throwing Israel under the bus?

Random thought: Recently, e-mails for donations to www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com have become more often and more urgent for donations... perhaps the minions of Judas 00-bama are becoming weary.
---
Just got another e-mail from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com. Yes, for a donation, but something has changed. My membership used to be classified as "active", but now it's listed as "pending". Judas 00-bama must be getting testier.
---
You know, all the "pending" actions involving Iran and Syria and Russia have accomplished is to divert attention from all the other scandals of the 00-bama administration.... by design? You betcha!
---
L-E story: "St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, Hamilton, Ga., has received a grant of $50,000 to enable its minister, the Rev. Jeff Jackson, to participate in the 2013 National Clergy Renewal Program funded by the Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. and administered by Christian Theological Seminary. * Father Jackson and the congregation have put together a program focused on music of the United Kingdom. In the summer of 2015, Father Jeff and his family will travel to Iona, Scotland; areas around London, England; and the west coast of Ireland to tour cathedrals , music festivals and even pubs to hear the diverse music of the British Isles. St. Nicholas will also engage in a similar program while Father Jeff is away." -- I have no doubt that Father Jackson is a good man, but it sounds to me that tax deductible donations have been doled out for a personal luxury vacation.
---
L-E story: "Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission has launched a community-wide Shoe Recycling Campaign. The goal is to divert shoes from our landfill, reuse them by sending them to developing countries, and to raise funds to support KCBC’s programs and projects. Committee co-Chairperson " -- Perhaps this should be rethought. It seems as most 3rd world developing countries are Muslim, and the sight of used shoe soles might be akin to waving a red flag at a disgruntled bull.
---
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "A Washington economist said that a $10 federal minimum wage would cause fast food prices to increase an average of 7 percent. No big deal, according to consumer polls." -- Hmmm, a "Washington economist"... as if any Washington economist has ANY credibility? Now, if a hamburger restaurant owner said this, it might make a difference, BUT, to raise it only 7% (that's not 7 cents for you low info voters), the owner would probably have to eliminate a job or two or more and get the remaining workers to work harder than they currently do... that ain't gonna happen. If all workers worked harder, owners would pay them more to make sure they didn't leave for other jobs.
---
You know, when I was in retail, I fired one person in my career, a salesman who imbibed on several beers while at lunch. Never had fire someone who started at entry level, as the goods one got quick raises, and the rest left on gtheor own to find another job that would maybe pay'em more than they were worth.
---
Another low info voter's L-E "soundoff" headline/text: "Don’t forget Oklahoma City * Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Washington Navy Yard … homegrown terrorism has arrived." -- Even the L-E left out a major terrorist events: Waco, Wounded Knee, Ruby Ridge, Boston, 9-11-01, "fast&furious", IRS,and Washington Obamarats and ObamaCare. Help me out if you remember more.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Nothing you can’t spell will ever work.” — Will Rogers, American humorist (1879-1935). -- Hmmm, now we know why Judas 00-bama (mainstream media for that matter) doesn't want his middle name in print.
---
L-E headline: "Atlanta logs dramatic turnaround in homelessness" -- Hmmm, that reminds me... what are we into locally.. the 3rd year of Mayor Obamalinson's "End Homelessness in 10 years" program. Have any goals, other than meeting of the committee, been met? For that matter, have any goals been set?
---
L-E's "Quotable": “If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.” John F. Kennedy 35th U.S. President (1917-1963)" -- Too bad liberal historians have re-defined Kennedy. Now it's "If government cannot save the many who are poor, it will not save the free society".
---
It's a poor columnist/editorialist who completely discharges an opposing opinion. The L-E should evaluate every one of it's opinionists, and weed out those that cannot, will not, acknowledge that even opposing views have some issues that need to be considered with their own.

Online story: "In a vote early Sunday morning, the House of Representatives voted 231-192 to pass a continuing resolution that will fund the government through December 15 -- and delay Obamacare for one year." -- Certainly if Juda 00-bama feels he can personally override parts of ObamaCare , Congress has just as much right to delay the rest of it. Judas 00-bama has made a mockery of the processing /implementing a bill.

Last week California's Governor 'moonbeam' Brown signed the Halle Berry/Jennifer Garner Anti-Paparazzi Bill into law. Expect a huge spike in the California paparazzi unemployment number for next month.

Online story: "A judge's ruling Friday that New Jersey must allow gay couples to marry will not be the last word on the issue after Gov. Chris Christie's administration said it would appeal to a higher court. * The judge, Mary Jacobson, sided with gay and lesbian couples and a gay rights group that argued the state government is violating New Jersey's constitution by denying federal benefits to the couples by not letting them marry. She said the state must allow gay couples to wed starting Oct. 21." -- No matter how you 'feel' about the matter, how can a state judge impart a ruling on a state law that doesn't exist? NJ legislators 'passed' some form of homosexual/lesbian marriage but it was vetoed by Christie. Christie wanted this to be a ballot resolved issue. This is an issue about whether the judge can legislate from the bench.

Part of ObamaCare places a tax on "medical devices". 2.3% I recall, and it''s suppose to help with medical costs of ObamaCare. Well, "suppose to" and reality are in different worlds. No tax cost at a lower level is going to lower the costs. Taxes BUILD the cost and higher manufacturing costs BUILD the final cost to end users. It doesn't matter what the product, either. Look what's happened to cigarettes. Higher taxes on cigarettes to pay for 'health programs' have reduced the sales of cigarettes, but increased the black market sales. In some area, smuggling in cigarettes has become an alternative to drugs. And "indoor tanning"... the discrimination tax... how's that business growing?

---

Online story: "Mariano Rivera's baseball career is No Mo. * Two days after his emotional Yankee Stadium farewell, Rivera said he won't pitch this weekend during New York's season-ending series at Houston and that his mound days are over. * The 43-year-old closer announced in March that he'd retire at the end of this season and he said he wanted give all he had before leaving the game. He feels like he did that this season.* "I think I squeezed every ounce of fuel that I had in my tank, and it's empty," Rivera said. "I have nothing left. I gave everything that I had." -- Remember "Fat Albert"? One of his friends had an answer for Rivera's action... "NC"! NC... No Class. Had NY made it to the playoffs, would Rivera be excusing himself as "spent"? No! A BIG "HELL NO!" actually.

---

I think we finally have a answer to how Judas 00-bama defines "a line drawn in the sand". It's an overhead shot of a fence he can sit on.

---

Online story: "The No. 2 officer at the military command in charge of all U.S. nuclear war-fighting forces is suspected in a case involving counterfeit gambling chips at a western Iowa casino and has been suspended from his duties, officials said. * (Navy Vice Adm. Tim ) Giardina is still assigned to the command but is prohibited from performing duties related to nuclear weapons and other issues requiring a security clearance" -- This bothers me... we have had a person with a gambling problem with his "finger on the trigger". Just the "blackmail" potential puts this in a huge security category. Knowing "he hasn't left the building" is even scarier now.

---

Online story: "A Louisiana pastor was fatally shot as he preached to a crowd of more than 60 during a revival service and a suspect has been arrested, law enforcement officials said Saturday. * The man went into the church while Harris was preaching and "walked up to him and shot him at close range," Myers said. The suspect shot him again when Harris fell to the floor. * W**$$ K*&%#, 53, of Lake Charles is charged with second-degree murder and was held in the parish jail Saturday. * The (_*_)'s bond has been set at $1 million." -- "Bond has been set at $1 million"? This is suppose to make everyone "feel" safe and secure? Why was ANY bond set?

---

Online story: "Washington - Faced with employees upset by its decision to drop health insurance for part-timers, grocer Trader Joe's has invited workers who may face higher premiums on the Obamacare insurance exchanges to apply for additional subsidies from the company * Although employees averaging 18 hours a week had traditionally qualified for the plan, workers with less than 30 hours a week learned they would be given a check for $500 and nudged into state-run insurance exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act." -- Br'er Rabbit's laffin' aldeway to the briar patch! Even the liberal states' businesses are bailing out on ObamaCare.

---

There was a mass shooting spree in Greenville, NC where a 23 year old black man shot 4 white people by design. Three of the four people wounded in the shooting suffered permanent and debilitating injuries, according to the indictments. Details of those injuries were not specified. (_*_) was shot by police. He recovered and is now in jail. Police seized computers and documents from the (_*_)'s home that showed he had a plan for the attack and wanted to shoot a large number of people, investigators said. Have you seen a headline on this? No "hate crime" label has been attached, either, but can you imagine how fast Sharpton would have been there if the situation was reversed?

---

OK....the natatorium is open... Anyone seen any figures on use and operating expenses? The lack of Council and City Managers rush to report "good news" is rather self-evident of what's going on.

Ugly uniform award... no doubt.. West Virginia going away. No visiting team should be tortured at looking at those.

Passed on by a fellow BCer: While there is probably some doubt to its authenticity, believable rumor theorists have enough reason to surmise there's an ounce or two of plausibility in this report:

Putin allegedly said off the record, "negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, shits on the board and then struts around like it won the game."

From another BCer:

Psychology 101:

If you start with a cage containing five monkeys and inside the cage,
hang a banana on a string from the top and then you place a set of stairs
under the banana, before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward the banana.
As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray all the other monkeys
with cold water. After a while another monkey makes an attempt with
same result … all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water.
Pretty soon when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the
other monkeys will try to prevent it.
Now, put the cold water away.
Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one.
The new monkey sees the banana and attempts to climb the stairs.
To his shock, all of the other monkeys beat the crap out of him.
After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs he will be assaulted.
Next, remove another of the original five monkeys, replacing it
with a new one. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked.
The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment… with enthusiasm.
Then, replace a third original monkey with a new one, followed by
a fourth, then the fifth. Every time the newest monkey takes to
the stairs he is attacked. Most of the monkeys that are beating him up have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs.
Neither do they know why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey.
Finally, having replaced all of the original monkeys, none of
the remaining monkeys will have ever been sprayed with cold
water. Nevertheless, none of the monkeys will try to climb
the stairway for the banana.
Why, you ask? Because in their minds…
that is the way it has always been!
This, my friends, is how Congress operates… and is why,
from time to time, all of the monkeys need to be REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME.
---
Of course the White House and Congress want to opt out of ObamaCare.. Some of the staffers actually read it. Then, name me an ObamaCare option that will cover their next BOTOX treatments

How do you define racist?

L-E headline/story: "$7 MILLION DEFICIT * In 5 years, Sheriff Darr has overspent his budget, creating a $7 million deficit. Darr says his budget is insufficient, while the mayor says it just needs some management. * The overspending, Darr said, is the result of a budget that is insufficient to carry out the legal and constitutional obligations of his office. Increasing demands placed on the Sheriff’s Office by the county jail, its medical clinic and burgeoning demands from the court system exceed the amount of money the city budgets for the office, he said * Sheriff’s Maj. Randy Robertson said Darr has spent a lot more time and money bringing the jail and its medical clinic into compliance with a federal Department of Justice decree placed on the facility in 1999 after a 1995 report criticized jail conditions as inadequate and in violation of inmates’ civil rights. * Chief Superior Court Judge Gil McBride confirmed that traffic in civil and criminal courts has increased, as has the workload the courts place on the Sheriff’s Office. And that load will increase when a seventh judge and possibly a sixth courtroom are added next year. " -- First, there is no doubt there was a concerted, if not conspirital effort to unseat Sheriff Darr in the last primary, and it looks like the L-E is now involved for the next one. Secondly, Mayor Obamalinson's course of action should be to seek relief from the DOJ for the inflexible conditions that have been installed on the Muscogee County jail. The only conditions that the DOJ should be concerned with are a clean, dry housing unit with basic edible meals, and sturdy prisoner containment so that the surrounding community can have the JUSTICE of a safe place to live.
---
Mayor Obamalinson should spend more time finding ways to make the millions of taxpayer dollars she dumped into Whitewater pay off for the future. Just her allocating $1.3 million to repair damages caused by altering the Chattahoochee's flow will take 64 years for Columbus to get repaid, and I haven't even calculated the time to recover the $5,000,000 she dumped into it previously.

Has anyone asked the NAACP and the Urban League why they scheduled gala fund raising events at the same time, at the same event center on the same date? When you think about it, maybe they were both thinking they could get Judas 00-bama here as the guest speaker. Talking out of both sides of his mouth at the same time is a skill of his. Or as back-up, maybe Mayor Obamalinson can handle that job.

Hopefully, this is my last intended mention of Anthony Weiner, but Weiner has to be considered for the infamous "Politics makes for strange bed partners" poster child. He's inbed with Hillary and Bill.

L-E story: "(A girl from) Smiths Station, Ala., has been awarded the title of Georgia’s Little Miss Heart of the USA, for the Miss Heart of the USA LLC, producers of the nationally recognized Miss Heart of the USA Pageant Program." -- There's something wrong with this. A Georgia girl has been denied to represent Georgia.
---
L-E story: "This year’s CV Pride event, held Saturday in Flat Rock Park, included drag performances, kid’s activities and more than 200 attendees." -- Excuse me, but how do "drag performances" and "kid's activities" belong in the same sentence, much less the same vicinity?
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Justice cannot be for one side alone, but must be for both.” — Eleanor Roosevelt, American first lady (1884-1962) -- Who'da thunk I would be quoting Eleanor Roosevelt, but here I am. This should be nailed to the wall in Eric Holder's, Judas 00-bama's, and every district court of appeals judges' chambers today! The sad thing is that when Eleanor Roosevelt was saying this, the intent was to correct the opposite of what's going on today. This is the result of the pendulum of correctness not knowing how to stop in the middle.
---
The measuring stick of a good political columnist is to be able to get both sides of an issue to have enough interest and respect to read his/her comments. Without a discussion, nothing happens. The L-E has filled it's pages with one-sided columnists that do not interest people interested in getting improvements initiated. Whatta waste of ink and trees. Trees Columbus, are you listening?
---
Why do CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and other mainstream media, allow Judas 00-bama or his spinmeisters to come on and shake their fingers at Fox News? Do these networks understand that Fox reshowing their excerpts is going to get to a bigger market than any of their showings? And what do the MSM networks still see in him? He's arrogant, he's racist, he lies, he's over his head, and incompetent. Political correctness has had its greatest toll, and caused its greatest damages on the legacies of the men and women whose jobs are protected by the First Amendment.

Instant repeat: Slob Beckel actually cussed the chairman of Barilla Pasta about his dedication to traditional families while on Fox New's "The Five". Slob Beckel even advocated a boycott of Barilla Pasta. That may be 'OK' for Slob Beckel (Hey, Slob Beckel! Step away from the pasta display!), but for me, it'll be Barilla only in my household.

There were 92 murders in Newark in 2012, making it tied with Oakland for 7th deadliest city in America. The Newark Mayor is running for US Senator and Joe Biden is campaigning for him. Washington, DC slipped to 88 murders last year. It was the first time under 100 since 1963. Guess the Obamarats are bringing in more experience to recapture Washington's splendor of the "Murder Capital of the US" from Chicago.

---

Could it be that maybe the rise in murders in Columbus is a campaign ploy to get national Obamarats interested in backing our Mayor Obamalinson for higher office...nahhh... at least I hope not.

---

In a seemingly contradiction, Bleep Veep Biden is also campaigning for his son for a third term as Delaware's Attorney General. Guess the Obamarats don't think he's ready for Holder's job.

The Pope has squashed an exhibit of photographs of homosexuals kissing in churches in Rome. Flavio Romani, the president of gay rights group Arcigay said. Have you noticed that when Judas 00-bama plans a personal agenda pep rally, he arranges for an inert, hand picked audience who will get fired up while the cameras are rolling, but aren't skilled enough to go out and get things done, but they can vote? When he talks about educational loans, his audience is mainly students looking for someone to bail them out when they finish; when he talks about Republicans, it's in the inner city somewhere; etc, etc...

Latest from www.barackobama/organizingforaction.com:

The Koch brothers have crossed a line. Their latest anti-Obamacare ads aren't subtle -- they've got images of a creepy Uncle Sam in a doctor's office, apparently taking advantage of unsuspecting patients.

You know, compared to the creepiness of Judas 00-bamaCare, this is a Norman Rockwell magazine cover.

---

Speaking our CREEPY! - Why Detroit? Why is Judas 00-bama pouring $300,000,000.00 into the biggest US Muslim congregation in America,? We don't actually have it to begin with, and none will actually get to an immediate need other than paying off Detroot's debts to ObamaBacker Banks. I say this though, the Republicans should make the money be dispensed in dollars vs checks. That way, Muslims will endanger their lives by picking up money engraved with "In God We Trust".

---

Beware of those Ally Bank ads... Ally was GMAC when we bailed it out, and renaming it doesn't alter the fact it was also a union bailout.

---

Since the Supreme Court has ruled that ObamaCare is a tax, therefore legally enforceable, it's a law. Congress can't overrule an existing law without enacting a solution; and the President can't pass a law concerning taxes, how can Judas 00-bama selectively exclude himself, Congress, White House staffers, Congressional staffers and union members from a national tax. He has not done it for religious organizations or non-profits, so why isn't the IRS stepping out in front of this "while every one IS equal, some of us are MORE equal" tax evasion scheme?

HuffPost headline/story: "Barilla Pasta Chairman Makes Shocking Anti-Gay Comments * Guido Barilla said, per a Huffington Post translation of the interview. "For us, the 'sacral family' remains one of the company’s core values. * Our family is a traditional family. If gays like our pasta and our advertisings, they will eat our pasta; if they don’t like that, they will eat someone else’s pasta. * You can’t always please everyone not to displease anyone. * I would not do a commercial with a homosexual family, not for lack of respect toward homosexuals – who have the right to do whatever they want without disturbing others – but because I don’t agree with them, and I think we want to talk to traditional families. The women are crucial in this." * Barilla said he respects people's right to do what they want without disturbing others, but that he does not agree with gay adoption." -- Only in the extreme mainstream media is this "shocking". I guess people without our values feel it's wrong to have our values. To hell with them...and that!.

Online story: "UNITED NATIONS, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Ending weeks of diplomatic deadlock, the United States and Russia agreed on Thursday on a U.N. Security Council draft resolution that would demand Syria give up its chemical arms, but does not threaten military force if it fails to comply. * Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said a deal was struck with Russia "legally obligating" Syria to give up its chemical stockpile and the measure went to the full Security Council in a closed-door meeting on Thursday night." -- Legally "obligating"? "does not threaten military force"? Mainstream media and Judas 00-bama are proud of this?

Online story: "Sen. Kelly Ayotte is blocking Senate action on President Barack Obama's nominee for Air Force secretary until she gets answers about the fate of the military's A-10 attack aircraft. * "As ranking member of the Armed Services readiness subcommittee, Sen. Ayotte's central concern is that our troops, including New Hampshire servicemen and women serving in harm's way, have the close air support they need to safely accomplish their missions," Liz Johnson, a spokeswoman for the senator, said in a statement Thursday. "The A-10 airframe is credited with saving 60 American lives this summer in Afghanistan." -- You know, Sen Ayotte will be the loser on this.. not only will mainstream media beat her up for personal greed (since her hubby is a former A-10 pilot), mainstream media will blast he since Judas 00-bama won't cross the lines he draws in the sand, the USA no longer needs an "attack" aircrfat.

Online story: "National Security Agency Director Keith Alexander said the NSA wants to collect more phone records, even after being the subject of recent public unease. * Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) asked Alexander if the NSA wants "the phone records of all Americans" during a congressional hearing Thursday. * "I believe it is in the nation's best interest to put all the phone records into a lockbox that we can search when the nation needs to do it, yes," --"A searchable "lockbox"? Well, I guess we do have a "lockbox" available. Remember....Algore had one made to put all our social security money into, and it looks like it was never used.

---

The nerve of NSA Director Keith Alexander to tell us our personal info would be 'safe'! Maybe he'll clarify if it will be safer than our military and political secrets were in "WikiLeaks" and Snowden's situations?

---

I tell you what... if the NSA will publish all the e-mails and phone call transcripts of all our National Politicians once a year, maybe.. just maybe, I could see some value of the NSA putting all of mine in a "lockbox" until "needed".

---

Online story" "SANTA ANA, Calif. — A 19-year-old man was charged Thursday with hacking webcams at the home of Miss Teen USA Cassidy Wolf and other women to extort nude photos and videos from them" -- What was he doing... getting a resume' video up to apply for a job at the NSA? Tell you what, I'm going to put a piece of duct tape over the lenses on the computers and phones we do have, and not buy another in the future if it has a camera lens without a camera lens cover.

Online headline/story: "School to Dad: Dead Son Not in Class * Jonas Pierre says officials from Prospect Heights' International High School call him to complain of son's attendance record months after the boy drowned upstate. * The Prospect Heights dad this week said he is receiving calls from the Prospect Heights' International High School claiming his son Jean Fritz Pierre has missed too many classes. His son died four months ago in a school trip upstate." -- One call is unacceptable, but "calls"? Once again, education has proven itself inefficient in delivering public service... of being unworthy of government protection... and of being too intrusive into the public's lives. All federal programs need to be defunded and a moratorium placed on any new programs being presented to Congress or by any president. I do not know whether any (or most) of you are familiar with theses robo-call school phone 'trees", but they can be a nightmare. Our daughters school's robo-call system calls randomly and excessively , and dials all five of the numbers 'it' knows about at the same time. It sounds like an alarm system going off announcing WW3 when ever the school wants to remind us of something they've already e-mailed us about.

---

Thinking about all those robo-calls... wonder how much the NSA storage costs will be to keep all of those?

---

Hey... maybe we can get our Congresspersons to make something useful out of NSA's intrusions. Make a new law that requires NSA to detect and divert ALL robo-calls... especially the re-election ones!

---

The state of education is frightening. Robots are learning and picking up new skills while they learn, while our children in schools aren't.

Online story: "Could your brain keep on living even after your body dies? Sounds like science fiction, but celebrated theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking recently suggested that technology could make it possible. * "I think the brain is like a program in the mind, which is like a computer," Hawking said last week during an appearance at the Cambridge Film Festival, The Telegraph reported. "So it's theoretically possible to copy the brain on to a computer and so provide a form of life after death." -- Wow! Stephen Hawking must have talked with my computer geek b-i-l in California. Tears ago, I related a theory I had about our brains basically being computer memory banks, and when we're born, we have 'data' from our ancestors "stored" like 'deleted files'. The data was still there, but the access link was erased which is how computers handle deleted data, and until it's 'overwritten' with new data, it's 'mine-able'. I told him and my sister that on more than a few times, places I've been or items I've handled seem like I've been there before or know something about the item. This is probably the basis of "deja vu" we have all sensed at one or more times in our lives. Of course, Hawkings theory is probably something that doesn't need to be pursued. After all, we all know that computer data can be hacked, corrupted or accidentally erased... beside, if you convert your brain to a computer, it'll become obsolete next month, and become a doorstop.

Random thought: "IMHO, all campaign funds left over after an election should be turned over to the local level of government where election is/was sought the day an election is over, and no campaign funds should be able to be donated nor accepted except during the physical year of the next election. At least criminalize the conversion of such accounts to personal use when a politician retires or loses.

---

Oh yeah, elected officials should be banned from making donations from their campaign accounts to other politicians running for office. This is a complete violation of controlling the amount one supporter can give to any one candidate. Example: I'm a uncontested candidate... donor "A" makes a maximum donation to another candidate, then gives me one which I will not need to spend with a 'suggestion" I make a similar donation to the same candidate he's maxxed-out on. According to current election laws, this is legal yet it's still very wrong.

---

A V-8 moment! Call/write/e-mail/text your Congresspersons today that all our foreign aid payments to non-Christian countries be paid in cash and air-dropped into the capital city like propaganda pamphlets. If the finders of our money are Christians, they'll get "help from above" for themselves and their families. If the finders are not Christian, they'll burn it because it says "In God We Trust". That way our Christian beliefs will be honored, and since most of the money will be destroyed, our savings accounts won't be diluted or weakened by too much money being in circulation. Yeah!

Online headline: "Mariano Rivera makes emotional final exit at Yankee Stadium" -- Thank goodness the Yankees aren't going to the playoffs. Mariano has had a stellar career.. now he can 'retire' once instead of every time the Yanks suit up in an elimination game.

Online story: "It was one of candidate Obama’s most vivid and concrete campaign promises. Forget about high minded (some might say high sounding) but gauzy promises of hope and change. * This candidate solemnly pledged on June 5, 2008: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year….. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States.” * Unfortunately, the experts working for Medicare’s actuary have reported that in its first 10 years, Obamacare will boost health spending by “roughly $621 billion” above the amounts Americans would have spent without this misguided law." -- I gues 'political correctness' has seared the concept of "in black & white" as it applies to reading material as well.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON, D.C. – The IRS is unable to account for $67 million spent from a slush fund established for Obamacare implementation, according to a Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) report released today. * The “Health Insurance Reform Implementation Fund” (HIRIF) was tucked into Obamacare in order to give the IRS money to enforce the tax provisions of the healthcare law." -- Hmmm, now we know why (and how) Lois Lerner is getting to 'retire'.

---

Online story: "A school district in southern Virginia is finally standing up to stop violence in the school system. They have stepped forward to take definitive action against the latest scourge to school safety – Duck Dynasty t-shirts." -- Yep, no public school wants to promote earned self-esteem, the effect of self-sufficiency, prayer and marriage to the students that the school wants to estrange from their dependency on their natural parents.

From the "out of the closet department".. dusting off the past news - Online story: "Those of us who pay attention to the real news know that in 2006, as a newly elected United States senator and rising star in the Democratic Party here, Barack Hussein Obama traveled to Kenya and illegally used his office (in violation of the Logan Act) to campaign for his cousin of the Luo tribe, Raila Odinga, who was running for president there. * Odinga wound up officially losing the 2007 election, but he and his socialist/Islamic Sharia platform hard-line supporters refused to accept the results. * Odinga’s faction already had an action plan in place in the event of their election defeat, and they carried it out with utter ruthlessness. * They waged violent jihad against Christians, hacking them to death with machetes, and conducted a prolonged campaign of “ethnic cleansing” and murder, riots, and all kinds of terror, including the burning and total destruction of at least 80 Christian churches. The body count from that ”religion of peace” program was in the thousands, with a half a million people displaced by the violence." -- Is there any doubt why Judas 00-bama has a problem of crossing a 'line
he's drawn in the sand' involving Muslim factions? Hey, the "line" is actually a "fence" he sits on.

L-E headline/story: "2013 SAT scores released: Muscogee County continues improvement, led by Carver High School * Carver's score increased 42 points from 1202 last year to 1244 this year. * The Muscogee school with the biggest gain the during past four years is Spencer, which added seven more points to its composite score for a 1206 this year -- a total improvement of 69 points since 2009. * The bad news for the district is that Early College (minus-50), Kendrick (minus-43) and Jordan (minus-24) took double-digit drops the past year. -- It's amazing how the L-E can fall prey to the conniving of the MCSD press spokespeople! The SAT score are atrocious, but the MCSD has made the Le think it's "positive" by comparing mediocrity as a success when compared to failure. We had 3 high locally last year that could not produce a single student to qualify as a "S.T.A.R." student. If you take away the SAT scores of CHS, the average for the rest slip down into the abyss of failure. Again, it's time we petition our legislature to override the laws that have given us political school boards versus the appointed schools of the past.

---

You know what's even a sadder note about the MCSD SAT results.. All our high schools have some magnet programs, and those programs should effect at least part of the SAT results in a positive manner, but other than CHS, we, no, the MCSD is wasting tax dollars by running higher costing magnet programs.

---

Online story: "A subsidiary of Visa, a key Obama campaign donor, that specializes in credit card transactions has abruptly stopped servicing the nation’s largest gun store after four years because the store sells guns, a fact the owners never hid." -- Since guns are a legal product, what a merchant sells should have no boundaries for card processing. Even drug dealers can acquire one of those cell phone card processors and their customers could pay for their drugs with a "Visa". I'm going to CB&T today and request a new debit card that either has a "MC" identity or is devoid of the "Visa" mark; otherwise, I will change banks.

---

Now it's official... Extreme terrorists are going online to recruit jihadists. Now 'foes' will take advantage of California's new "erase" law which makes online networks let teens spout off at will, and as soon as the results are obtained, the teens can eliminate all traces to them. Don't you know terrorist cells in California will take that option and run with it?

He says "our supporters' views on the statue have been made clear." He adds that "the removal of the statue is the right thing for Fulham." -- Hmmm, guess the Muslims figured out Michael was either a Christian or Jew, but nevertheless, an infidel.

Do liberals really think Judas 00-bama had a grasp of reality? Obamarats raised the taxes on cigarettes with the revenue targeted for some healthcare program, but so many have stopped smoking, those programs are super underfunded. Now he's counting on young people who don't need/want medical insurance to "buy" it, but at the same time, they can stay on their parents policies.

No private business operates this way, and neither should government. Is this why Judas 00-bama and Eric Holder are so anti-photo ID?

Very, very low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Mr. Obama is still digging this country out of the hole that President Bush left it in, and you say there hasn’t been any improvement. I'm exercising my 1st Amendment rights by not endorsing any of the above organizations because they are racist. Welcome to America. Mainstream media and libs, get over it.

Online story: "Samuel L. Jackson did not mince words when he said President Obama needs to "stop trying to 'relate'" and "be f--king presidential." * The 64-year-old recently gave a candid interview to Playboy's Stephen Rebello. The discussion opened with talk of his new flick with Spike Lee, "Oldboy," and then turned to talk of linguistic errors in society today. Jackson told an anecdote about how, when he was younger, he always made sure to address his elders properly. Nowadays, he sees people on Twitter who don't even know the difference between "your" and "you're." (To which the actor asked: "How the f--k did we become a society where mediocrity is acceptable?") " -- "stop trying to relate"...."linguistic errors"... "mediocrity is acceptable"? Well, Jackson answered his own question... When the "F-bomb" became part of public interview answers. Now, I hope the Republican Party takes this message to heart, as well, because it too needs to "stop trying to relate", and "be f----- Conservative".

---

Just FTR, Jackson raised $10 Million to elect Judas 00-bama in 2008.. and before the 2012 election, he starred in an ad telling people to "Wake the F--k Up" and vote for Obama", dubbing Mitt Romney an "out-of-touch millionaire." -- Well, there he went again... lying and having mediocre and vulgar linguistics.

The last of August, some 300 teens broke into former NFL player Brian Holloway's home in Stephentown,NY, and "broke it up".. literally. Holloway did somethinh I wouldn't have thought of, he just asked them to be responsible. He also did something he should be raised up on every responsible persons shoulders and cheered. He used his resources to track down the YouTube and Twitter postings of kids that vandalized his house and posted them on a website he had created, www.helpmesave300.com. He asked the kids to come back and clean up what they had done. 1 kid of 300+/- did that. Other kids parents have filed law suits against Holloway for posting their kids' ALREADY posted online pictures and 'tweets'. I hope there're enough police officers in the court room to arrest every parent who shows up in front of a judge and tries to carry this on further. Samuel L. Jackson needs to talk with the kids and their parents...FAST, and in this case, a few, even a LOT of "F-bombs" would be acceptable to me.

Something dear and important to me is going to happen. The death trap ramp on part of the exchange at the J.R. Allen/Bradley Park Drive intersection is going to be changed. For years now, I personally have avoided the clover-leaf entry/egress ramps on the west side. Instead of using the circular aspects, I've gone to the long ramps to go west on J.R Allen, and when getting off, use the west ramp and then take a left onto Bradley Park. I've told my family I will take/accept any ticket I get and they get if they do the same and get caught. I've told my kids how to make a safe turn in such situations. Thank goodness something is going to be done to improve everyone's safety. Of course that just leaves every other ramp set off J.R Allen to be fixed....

Though he'll catch flack forever from mainstream media and every Obamarat for reading "Green Eggs and Ham" on the Senate floor, Senator Cruz probably did more good for children than any other discussion on Reid's agenda.

Online headline/story: "San Francisco Middle School Student Tells Obama Official: ‘White People Are Taking Over' * The Mission District, around here, has changed a lot because there's a lot of white people taking over the Mission," said a 12-year old, when asked by her principal what's changed in the surrounding area. "I used to always see Latinos in the Mission * The girl’s comment underlines a long-term problem in San Francisco, which, over the past few decades, has seen the steepest drop in its black population of any U.S. city. * According to census data, the black population dove from 13.4 percent of city residents in 1970 to 6.5 percent in 2005. In 2012, it was 6.1 percent." -- Hmmm, so it's not just an anti-Pelosi/Feinstein feeling the other 49 states wish they didn't have to deal with...

Online headline/story: "SAT Results For 2013 Show Low Rates Of College Preparedness * Only 43 percent of test-takers in 2013 met the SAT's definition of being prepared for college, a statistic that has remained stagnant since 2009. * The 1.6 million test-takers averaged 496 in reading, 514 on math and 488 on writing (1498 total), according to a Thursday report released by the College Board, the company behind the notorious college entrance exams. * The College Board defines the college-ready benchmark as 1550 out of 2400, a score the organization says indicates a 65 percent likelihood of a student earning a first-year college GPA of a B-minus or above." -- When the actual average scores dip below the statistical average needed for 2 out of 3 college students to actually get something out of their college education, then everything we think about the public education system is probably not tough enough to get improvements. OK, Judas 00-bama, you appointed Arne Duncan, head of one of the nation's worst school systems (Chicago) as your go-to-guy for education, and for your entire presidency, schools have struggled to just not get worse than when you came in. Hey, Samual L. Jackson, ask Judas 00-bama what the F-bomb is he going to do about this?

Jerry Brown signed Tuesday. * The (Halle Berry/Jennifer Garner) bill from state Sen. McClatchy headline: "In an unexpected setback, officials at the District of Columbia’s health insurance marketplace announced Wednesday that a computer glitch won’t allow consumers to get their federal tax credits that are key to helping them buy health coverage on Oct. 1 when the marketplace officially opens for business." -- Good grief! This should be an April Fools' Day story... but it's not.... Online story: WASHINGTON The Justice Department's internal watchdog says the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives mounted dozens of undercover investigations into illicit cigarette sales without proper approval. It says the agency misused some of $162 million in profits from the stings - including overpaying an informant by millions of dollars - and lost track of at least 420 million cigarettes. * The report cited a widespread lack of ATF oversight in the agency's use of "churning investigations," undercover operations using proceeds from illicit cigarette sales to pay for ATF expenses. * In one sting, members of a Philadelphia street crew traded a bundle of marijuana for cartons of cigarettes to undercover agents posing as dealers. * The U.S. Justice Department estimates state and local governments are losing $5 billion per year from untaxed cigarettes being sold on the black market. * Weak laws are big part of the problem. Unless guns or drugs are involved, smuggling penalties are light." -- Hmmm, sounds like the sequel to the 'fast&furious' gun smuggling operation of Judas 00-bama's administration. What to name this one... "Gone in 60 seconds" or "Up in Smoke 2"?

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Facing a “precarious financial condition” as fewer customers use its services, the United States Postal Service proposed another round of rate increases Wednesday to go into effect in January — its largest price increase since 2002. " -- Told you there was another reason for the latest stamp having Ray Charles on it. Braille, so most of wouldn't know the price. I think the PO should analyze what has happened since the major increases it made in 2002. People decided it was too much so used other methods.. raising prices will just continue that trend. Cutting and controlling costs and focusing on customer needs is the answer.
